Reviews of Hartford Stage
Nice way to see some great productions at good prices. I'd say there didn't seem to be any bad seats either. I probably wouldn't want front row because your at eye level with the stage, but even the side seats had good views. Very clean. Helpful staff. I'll definitely be looking at future shows! (Picture from section B, row 4, seat 9)
Kiss Me Azteca was a premiere musical. Daring and timely this was a joyous and funny production. The sets always are beautiful and the theater has $5 parking if you bring exact cash. Right around the corner is Sorella’s Restaurant that serves delicious food and drinks. Pair it with the theater and you have a perfect outing.
Saw The Mousetrap by Agatha Christy. It was our first show there in years and what a treat! The set, lighting, and actors were engaging. The theater is also well organized with excellent seats at reasonable prices. Getting drinks is also well organized with the option of ordering ahead. We are now season ticket holders. Highly recommended!
What a wonderful place! The venue is very intimate. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I saw the play It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. It was very, very well done! I highly recommend seeing this. And to all the folks involved, AWSOME job and big thank you for sharing your passion!
Great plays at Hartford Stage. So easy to get there. Parking is onsight in the garage and the cost is $7. Details at Hartford Stage website.
This is better than Broadway. It's sorta similar to Long Wharf Theatre undergoing a good transition for all gen types (in my opinion).
Staff is always very helpful and pleasant. The play was challenging. They had a conversation with the playwright after the performance but due to the extreme cold outside I couldn't stay.
The quality of the productions are top notch. The seats are comfortable. There are usually fun cocktails or mocktails associated with the play. It is a jewel of Hartford.
Unforgettable experience!
Very talented actors and amazing decorations and awesome play.
The prices are okay (60-90$ for adults)but it is totally worth the spent money.
There are a lot of kids who take part of play. And they do it so good so I have no idea how adults train those kids but it is so interesting to watch their play.
The costumes are adorable. I am amazed by this wonderful Christmas Carol play and wish to come to Hartford again with my kids in future.
Thank you!
Everything was so beautiful, even the bathrooms. I appreciated that they catered to both adults and children by having sweets and alcoholic beverages. I went to see a Christmas Carol and it was by far one of the best plays I've ever seen, to the point where I nearly cried. You won't regret coming~
Great location right in the heart of Hartford just off of route 91 and 84. The theater is surrounded by a variety of food options and it's literally connected to a parking lot. The seats could be roomier but the quaint size of the place makes it bearable. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. I saw the "The Flamingo Kid" and the production was excellent. I highly recommend the experience.
Great place, amazing performances. Like having your own private theater almost. Really nice to have found Hartford Stage after coming from NY
Loved everything. Restrooms clean. Bar for beverages. Seats are awesome! Saw the show It's a wonderful life. Awesome acting. Can you imagine ever again hearing commerical for Gfox?
Wonderful show, Lost in Yonkers. Amazing cast, well done, a must see. Live Theatre is back in Hartford
This little theater brings in amazing shows and talent. It is a fantastic gem. Most recently saw Perfect Nonsense, and the title perfectly describes the hilarity of the show. There isn't a bad seat in the theater. Many great shows (like this one!) Make their debut here. Go again and again.
This is the most beautiful, intimate little theatre. The productions are second only to Broadway itself, although many that I have seen have been equal in caliber.
Saw Its a Wonderful Life and it was great. Smaller theater but very nice. The bar is extremely expensive, but very professional.
Each play leaves me with thought-provoking stories for pondering long after I see the play.
Love it every time. Seats are great no matter where you sit. Staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. And parking is great & not expensive.
Not a bad seat in the house and the productions are outstanding.
Went to see. It's a wonderful life. Great show and would recommend seeing it
Shows can be hit or miss but the theater is fantastic and the scenery is always top notch
If you like theater/plays this is an intimate venue for thoughtfully produced shows.
Wonderful to see live theater again. Angry, Raucous and Shamelessly Gorgeous was great! The actors were terrific in their roles The generation gap themes really hit home, and inspire me to reexamine some of my perceptions in that arena.
GREAT venue! Just saw It's A Wonderful Life. Great show.
I have never been here till just recently on the 22nd. Oddly enough, considering I grew up in Hartford and spent my younger days going out and about all throughout Hartford. My two friends and I saw A Christmas Carol and it was a really good performance. Funny and a little crazy with the ghosts. The actors and actresses were very good and on point, loved the effects and how the utilized the whole room and not just the back of the stage. There isn't a single bad seat in the house, I'd definitely come back to check out some other plays for sure. Very quaint theater!
This place is legendary always a good time. From the people who manage to the people who show up for the show I wouldn't change a thing
Very beautiful venue and theater space. The show "KISS MY AZTEC " was amazing and crafted by the most talented actors, writers and stage people. Thank you Hartford Stage for bringing us this wonderful experience and production. Lloyd DeLeon
seats could be a little bit more comfortable but staffing is very nice. they accomodated me even with a child. (after i bought my tickets they said they dont usually allow children, but my baby was calm during the play so their accommodation was greatly appreciated)
I love the radio play, It's a wonderful life. . The actors are amazing talented.
Very organized, calm and clean! You should visit. Today, Lost in Yonkers. 🎭 …
I went to see the play Detroit 67. It made me realize how dangerous can be that people can't understand that our differences make us unique. Amazing job guys!
Awesome theatre! There really isn't a bad seat in the house. The seats are a bit cramped in some areas, so get your tickets early and spend a little extra.
Saw "It's a Wonderful Life" put on as an old time radio broadcast. It was fantastic. Everything about it was terrific. Felt like I was in the production, rather than just seeing it. Have to go to more productions by the Hartford Stage Company. "Wonderful Life" was just that; wonderful.
I absolutely love this theatre. It's such a gem in the city of Hartford. There are honestly no bad seats. This theatre is just big enough but it still feels very intimate. They have some very outstanding productions, some of which go on to become Broadway hits. Before Covid, they used to have events before the show. Hopefully they bring those back after the pandemic is over. Parking in the adjacent garage is about $5 cash, or you can try finding street parking for free.
We saw a fabulous performance of Ah Wildness. First class actors, staging, sets, costumes! We were warmly greeted and thanked by Melia B, the new artistic director before the show began. It was an outstanding event.
Professional theater A+!!!! Great entertainment and great new works of plays and musicals. I went to go see Murder on the Orient Express and it was amazing!! The theater also had great customer service. Great seats too!
Loved it! Would be nice to see more people there.
We saw A Christmas Carol and it was an amazing experience. The acting was amazing, the scenery was enchanting and the whole experience was wonderful.
This regional equity house produces an eclectic mix of solid shows. The theater is comfortable with great sight lines and new seats. Parking is easy.
This was the first time I've been to this theatre and was very happy with the night out overall. We went to see A Christmas Carol. When we first arrived we were treated with a holiday music sing along in the lobby. Once inside the theater, I noticed how intimate it was. Pretty much any seat in the place was a good seat for viewing. The performance itself was amazing with top-notch acting, stage building, and lighting effects.
I will definitely go see another performance again here soon.
Not a bad seat in the house. Professional staff. Very good place to see a play. We love it here.
We saw, and were absolutely delighted by, the Sunday matinee of A Christmas Carol! From parking, to coat check, to being seated, to intermission, it was so easy. The show itself was amazing, exceeding everything we had heard about it. My only complaint is that it made two hours fly by leaving us wanting more!
Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, great theatre shows
Always awesome! Fantastic shows, amazing sets, great staff. Such a professional experience in a cozy setting.
Very cute theater. Small and intimate. Any seat in the house is a good start: you feel close no matter where you are. Quality productions here. You will not be disappointed. We travelled up from Richmond to see Anastasia in preview directed by the artistic director of Hartford Theatre. We were not disappointed.
Today(8/11/18)- was actually my first time at the Hartford stage and everything was Awesome, all the actors did an amazing job playing The Adams Family. The sounding, lighting and the production was great!! Me and my children really enjoyed ourselves and we loved it. Would recommend this place to anyone. If you haven't been there yet, just go because you won't regret it. Thumbs up😍👍👍
Took the family to see A Christmas Carol and had a wonderful time. The show itself was great! The theater really doesn't have a bad seat in the house. Even being on one of sides provided a full view of everyone on stage.
The recent renovations really opened up the lobby area. I will certainly be returning.
First, I forgot My show night of my season tickets last week. I received a call from the Box office asking if I wanted to come a different night! That is amazing service! And The show was fantastic. As always the sets never fail to disappoint at The Hartford Stage. Costumes were beautiful and this particular show The Age of Innocence, keeps you engaged and hopeful throughout the entire show. Great performance!
Located downtown, Hartford Stage has a ton of options for dinner before hand. You can park in the garage next door for only $6.50 on show nights - just be aware it'll take awhile to get out - may be best to go out for a drink after the show.
The theater itself is very nice. There's a coat check and a bar in the lobby. You're allowed to take your drinks and food into the show - just be respectful about it. The main theater is smaller than you might think from the website - not a bad seat in the house. The set design is usually amazing, too.
Excellent plays! The theater allows for easy access, and regardless of the section you are sitting at, you have a great view of the stage. The concession stands on both floors has an assortment of sweets, teas, coffee, and fine wines. A delightful way to spend an enriching evening in the capital city.
Hartford Stage never disappoints. Inspired selections and direction, wonderful sets, costumes, actors. Stadium-style seating ensures a good view. Every trip has been most enjoyable. Easily accessible even without the highway. Parking garage available and a great place for a bite right across the street. If you are a theater lover, go see the current show. I do not think you will regret it.
Tremendous asset for Hartford. Always top ranked actors. Need more participation and donations from surrounding communities to assure Hartford's professional theaters stay funded and alive.
Such a fun night out, try something different and ditch the movies for the stage. Intimate venue and not a bad seat in the house. Prices are very reasonable and they sometimes have package deals. Parking in the attached garage is $6.50 if purchased in advance which beats the $10.00 LAZ Lot nearby. Front row seats are literally about 10' from the stage. Our seats are 8 rows back in the pic here, and that is the last row of the section, so still very close to the stage.
I have to say, for a theater in a midsize market, they always do a really nice job with all of their productions. We have seen various shows over the past decade, and we've always been very pleased with the quality of the production. The theater layout is such that there's not a bad seat in the house, whether you're in the front row, or near the back, and we know -we've sat pretty much everywhere over the years for various shows. I wouldn't consider ourselves hardcore theater enthusiasts, but you will have a good experience if you decide to see a show here. There is parking in the garage attached to the building, and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance, including one directly across the street, that you can go to to make a half day out of this.
Great venue and wonderful to be at a live performance. However the requirements to show vax status and wear a mask is not welcoming and would make me think about whether I want to attend another performance.
Parking lot is close. Seats have decent leg room.
I always love going to the Hartford Stage. People are friendly, and it's so easy to park and go right in the building. My niece Danced in the Hip Hop Shakespeare play and if was phenomenal. My niece was phenomenal!! She is a great kid. However HS always has great productions. I've been going there since I was in middle school back in the early 90's. As time goes on, it continues to get better.
Very cool place I saw a play here recently that was very well done. The building is very historical and have been using many props and stage tools for a very long time, or so I've heard. They served very fancy mixed drinks during the intermission but the lines were very long. It is also unfortunate we paid alot for seats and ended up having them very far in the back. However the play was so good it made up for all this.
Great show. Small theater not a bad seat in the house. They have devices to use for hearing impaired like myself, production was fantastic. Play moved right along, before you knew it was intermission. If you miss the Christmas Carol this year plan on next year. You can buy great seats for $25. We sat in 2nd row from the stage. Felt like you were actually part of the performance.
My husband and I had attended a play 'Feeding The Dragon's that was written and performed by Sharon Washington on 2/4/18. The Hartford Stage Theater is a personable place. The staff (employees) were nice, helpful. A theater with good sound systems and lighting. Also, the stage is centered, but angled. Basically any seat is viewable. The garage next to the theater charges based on a variation of 1 to 2 hrs or more. It took us a while to find parking. No complaints because the performance was really good!
It was amazing! I personally didn't buy any drinks, but from what I saw, they have sodas, and alcoholic beverages. Plus, the play I saw, which was A Christmas Carol, was really good! Hope you enjoy Hartford stage as much as I did!
Absolutely loved seeing Wicked and the Bodyguard shows at this beautiful stage. Seating is a little close together but that's because people are actually getting bigger! Nothing wrong with this beautiful venue, parking was easy, sound was great.
Great show!! Wish they had snack options.
I saw A Christmas Story on xmas eve 2019....it was fantastic--definitely one of the best performances I have ever seen. I would highly recommend. I hope to do this every xmas eve. The performance would get 5 stars. The seating in the theater , maybe 3 stars. Seats are the downside--they are hard, no cushioning at all..also, no leg room (and I am short, 5'3, so if I am saying no leg room, then it's definitely an issue)... gets pretty uncomfortable sitting through a show. Although the actual seats suck, I must say any seat you sit at, you will have a good view of the stage. Also, they only offer candy, mediocre cookies, and awful tasting soft pretzels for snacks. I get it has to be soft food, as to not make noise, but better quality would've been great.
Wonderful place to see theater and follow it up with a great dinner in city. Many good ones..just do best to find parking..always an issue in cities. Carry change purse or call to find out how meters are paid nowadays. There's also entrepreneurs charging various prices who own a lot. Hartford Stage has own parking structure and reduced parking fee if seeing a play. However $6.50 is by no means a bargain. But $10 is regular fee so I was glad to save!
wonderful new plays this year!! great casts so far!! can't wait to see the rest of the 2019/2020 season!! Thank you Hartford Stage for bringing us great live theater!!
A stage company is only as good as the plays it puts on. Under the direction of Darko Tresnjak it has been absolutely fabulous! Occasionally we have gone there expecting that we might not like it (we have season tickets) but are very pleasantly surprised.
On the practical aspects, the theater is very comfortable and convenient. I love the stadium style seating. No looking around other people's heads. The theater is very convenient to drive to, and the parking lot is also very convenient. For parking I recommend driving down a level. If you can navigate a flight of stairs, you can actually park much closer there. Also, Hartford Stage sells a prepaid parking ticket with the theater ticket, and it is very convenient to have the prepaid ticket when you are leaving.
Great location and helpful staff. If you are here for a show, be sure to get the parking voucher available for purchase at the will-call counter. You pay $6.50 to park at the MAT garage on performance days, instead of the usual $10 (I think). You are welcome! :)
The venue itself is great. The front row is immersed into the stage and the seats are comfortable. The drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. I've only been to one show at this location, but it was very well done and great entertainment. Will go again.
A wonderful experience. Great sets and performances. Not a bad seat in the house. Friendly, helpful staff. Only suggest you check the Civic Center schedule and come early if they have a show. Traffic and parking were horrific.
I brought 75+ students to see Murder on the Orient Express and was so very pleased - and not for the first time. Whether for personal or professional events, the Hartford Stage provides the area with excellent performances, such a good fit for this venue. I can only imagine how thoughtful the people of HS are (like Robert who coordinates school visits) . The seating is great, there is a full snackbar, the bathrooms are clean and plentiful.
I can't comment on parking because I didn't need it, but Hartford always has something for visitors
All tickets for people under 18 are $18. This is a crazy good deal, me and my lady saw Henry V for $144 cheaper than if we were in the same seats as adults and the dedication to creating a love of theater shown here is worth any ticket price. The play was also very nice though Shakespeare is often a lot to take in.
Macbeth breakdancing show. The kids were great. Everyone enjoyed the show.
Amazing shows!!! And every seat is the best seat in the house! The actors are amazing and so are the sets and effects. I STRONGLY recommend seeing a show here, you will not be disappointed!
Can't go wrong with any production here. Garage parking available (prepay for the garage at the box office to exit the garage quicker. Alcohol and other beverages and snacks sold in lobby area before the show and at intermission. Staging, lighting and actors are all high quality! Get a flex pass for the season to pick and choose the shows you want to see.
The Hartford Stage is a great place to see a play or a musical. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We have seen A Christmas Carol, Murder on the Orient Express, The Flamingo Kid, The Engagement Party, and others. The sets are amazing and how they manuever them is incredible. It truly is a wonderful entertainment experience.
A very nice time tonight at the Hartford Stage seeing "Murder on the Orient Express." We parked in the adjacent garage for about 6.50 and it was well worth it. Everyone at the Hartford Stage was helpful and polite. It was a great show!
This is my favorite theater venue in Hartford. Small enough that all the seats are good seats. Prices are reasonable. Shows are amazing. They offer great benefits for season subscribers. I can't say enough good things about Hartford Stage.
Located somewhat central of Hartford, this is a great playhouse to visit. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a moderately-priced parking garage on premises. I've seen several plays here and have found that you can't get a "bad seat". Definitely worth a visit (or several!).
I've been to Hartford Stage for five shows now and it's always amazing. The venue is kept clean, especially the bathrooms. Your view of the stage is always good even if you're in the back rows. Location is easily accessed and parking is just next door. All of this says nothing about the plays themselves which are top notch. The actors are fantastic and really sell you on the play. But they're also backed up by surprisingly solid special effects where necessary. Just all around top notch production work every time I come here.
Wonderful experience! The theater was beautiful and the staff friendly. Convenient, affordable parking in the garage next to the theater.
Current production is well worth a visit to Hartford Stage. Continues Hartford Stage run of excellent shows.
Set design fabulous, play selection is improving with more thought provoking work. The seats are quite uncomfortable, lots of people moving around trying to get comfortable. Take a row out and allow more leg room and better seat pitch. Looked around and saw most of the men utilizing both armrests while neighboring women sat with arms crossed in front.
Saw an amazing show!! Seats are tighttttttttt if you are tall
We went to see "A Christmas Carol" which was well-acted and well-produced. Seating is somewhat in a U-shape, and the whole stage is utilized, so there are not many bad seats. However, we sat on the left side and had a view of just the back of an actor or the back of his chair many times, so that was a bit disappointing. Harford Stage has a $6.50 event parking deal with the garage that is adjacent, which is better than the normal $10 rate.
A nice small theater in downtown Hartford. The parking is next door and it's only 6 dollars if you go to a show. Walking distance to city steam brewery and a few other good places to eat. The theater reminds me of long wharf in size.
Intimate theater great view from just about everywhere with parking garage right next door. Highly recommend
Wonderful place for live theatre!
Nice cozy theatre. Small and the seats are well arranged so the stage is easily seen. Acoustics were good and so was lighting. Wished there was a snack bar with more variety though.
Cozy hidden nuck live stage show at its best! Intimate and quaint and ever seat is a good one. Staff is so organized and pleasantly welcoming you for the nights entertainment.they have bars set up for what ever you desire with light snacks to help you sit back and enjoy the show.durning intermission the walls server as a art gallery to the performance you witnessing.Loved it!!
Got a chance to see the play Detroit 67 at Hartford Stage. Enjoyed the show with wife, our son and daughter in law. This was our gift to the lovely couple ❤️ for their 9 wedding anniversary.
If you see a performance here you'll be delighted. Sets, costumes, actors and everything in between comes alive in ways comprable (and some times surpassing) that of the Great White Way. The love of all things theater by the Darko is evident from the biggest spectacle to the smallest detail.
It's a wonderful life was awesome!
Always great productions - strong acting, and lovely days, costumes and lighting. Nice facility too.
Had a splendid evening Friday April 29, 2022. Play was very captivating.Restrooms GI GANTIC
Small, intimate theatre. Great space and location. Only qualm about the show we saw was that the curtains did not open fully for some scenes so we felt like we didn't get to see parts of the side action.
Saw The Engagement Party tonight. I love this theater! The sets are always so interesting. I have season tickets for such a reasonable price!
Great show and wonderful facility
Great show, easy to commute to. My son and I couldn't stop laughing
Saw Flamingo Kid last night. My kids and I don't care for musicals; but I'm glad we saw it. Amazing talented acting and singing skills, great props, My family and I had a great time.
It's awesome to have world class theater here in Hartford. We've seen several shows this year and haven't been disappointed. Nice lobby with a bar and a great downtown location.
No seat is a bad seat. Never seen a bad show here! Appreciate their Covid protocols: masked and vaxxed only! Update: as of May 2022, no longer requiring masks or vaxes.
Food was great. The pasta is some of the best if you like al dente style. Atmosphere is good and the location at the corner of Pratt street makes it a great place to be around!
The staff is very helpful! I enjoy myself everytime at I attend the Hartford Stage
Amazing spot, the only place better I think in the city of Hartford to see a show is the Bushnell, but this place comes in second in Hartford in my humble opinion. If the Bushnell wasn't in Hartford this place would get 5 🌟 s from me. …
Love the productions at Hartford Stage. Always phenomenal, professional, inventive, and often challenging. A great theater producing some of the best shows on the tristate area.
The play we saw was really good. The space is cramped though. There is no leg room whatsoever. I'm not particularly tall, but my knees were pressed against the seat in front of me. Even when I stood up it was difficult for people to pass to get to their seats.
Lost in Yonkers was a great play....thinking about taking my niece to see it.
Awesome time, great show, and a very nice venue!
It was my first time there to see a play and it was wonderful! Not a bad seat in the theater. What a great Christmas gift from my daughter's family!
From the quality of the performances to the quality of the theater itself- everything is top notch.
My wife and I enjoy ourselves each time we come here to watch a play.
Seriously some of the best theater in CT. Even the plays that I didn’t really enjoy were so well executed that I still had a great time. Generous pourers at the bar too.
Saw the Christmas Carol there with my 2 daughter's. It was an amazing experience. The actors were fantastic! Looking forward to going back again.
We go every year to A Christmas Carol with children. Fantastic tradition. Clean, friendly staff, all seats have a wonderful view.
Always something great to see!
Outstanding performance ...The Flamingo Kid musical play
I took two 10th grade classes to see The Piano Lesson today.
The performance was outstanding!!! I loved Doaker and Lyman's performances.
A MUST SEE!
Almost no bad seat in the house. Just don't sit in the very last row (no leg room). The productions at Hartford Stage are consistently well done.
Detroit 67 is a well acted hard to take play about the effects of the inequalities and subsequent riots in the city on a bother and sister. Must go. Glad to see an audience that is about half Black.
Wonderful venue, easy access to parking as well. We just saw A Comedy of Errors. It was a fabulous show....we're still laughing!
Great shows! All seats are great. Nice venue. Very cozy theater.
Never have I had a bad experience or show! Love this place, I've been coming to Hartford Stage for over 20 years! Will be going there for years to come!
This is lovely theatre, where every seat is a great seat. Parking is conveniently located in the attached garage. Love this theatre, and the plays and programs here
This is a small theater. I saw Henry V and there was little costumes but the acting was great. It was seeing pure art it it's natural form. A great experience
Easy parking great theatre with great searing lighting and sound and a wonderful performance of Make Believe. Look forward to seeing another show soon
just saw A Midsummer Night's Dream. great play. Wonderful theater very intimate and truly no bad seat in the house excellent experience
First rate regional theater. Highly professional productions. Productions often go to New York, one of which won two Tony's a couple of years ago.
Wonderful show, great theater experience!
First class... professional, yet friendly atmosphere. The play, The Engagement Party was one of the best I've ever seen.
I was very impressed there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The crowd at intermission was moved along very smoothly. Enjoyed.
Fun small theater, Christmas Carol was very good
Great atmosphere, beautiful stage at a small and intimate setting.
Very good theater with helpful staff. Seats are a bit cramped. Would be 5 stars of the seats had more room.
We saw a Christmas Carol at this theater and it was absolutely amazing, we loved it, the performers were so so good, everything about it was delightful.
I watched Quixote Nueve and the experience was AMAZING. The play was beautifully written, the stage was used in such creative and efficient ways.
Beautiful theater. Seats are great no matter where you sit. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance to make a day of it.
A gem in Hartford. We enjoy coming here. Parking on premises.
The best theater in the area! Performances and sets are Broadway worthy! A real gem! Our favorite theater!
I love this place, the shows are so well performed and the amenities are fantastic. It keeps bringing me back every few months, it's just so personal.
Great place to see a play. All seats are great.
Went to see A Christmas Carol. Always enjoyable.... quaint stage and setup so that you really can't have a bad seat.
Have enjoyed seeing this production for many years..you can get great seats for a song..if you order early
Love the Theatre. I have never been disappointed in a play at this venue. I love the sets and lighting especially.
I love this intimate theatre with great productions. I've enjoyed every show I've seen here.
Very good show had great seats front row. Good prices easy access to parking.
I went to see "A Christmas Carol" with a school group. The show was excellent! The staff was very child friendly.
Loved performance, always good seats!
Wonderful stage with accommodating staff and comfortable surroundings. If you can, take the opportunity to see some hits here before they go to Broadway!
Awesome shows, great seats if you can get on the floor for $25.00
Great. Good show. But they need to do better in the parking lot, the computer is slow. But show is great
This is nice, fancy, and clean, the seats are kinda small but very nice theater
The hartford stage is such a nice way of enjoying an intimate, exciting and talented theater experience. I enjoy it everytime I go.
Hartford Stage brings exceptional theater and talent to its stage. I feel lucky and honored to be able to volunteer for such a fine organization!
Great plays, great acting, inspired direction. Leg room for seating is a bit cramped. Convenient parking
Saw a great performance: Passover. Visited the Hungarian place of terror this play was about in Budapest this week.
Venue is just perfect size, highly recommend the play to other's and plan to see more plays!
This place is beautiful.Only been to see Feeding the Dragons, but staff is friendly and the play was great!! 5 stars bravo!!
Good for plays and free to Hartford residents if have library card. Get tickets at local library.
Great to be back. Ah Wilderness was a needed entertainment. Well done!
Every seat is a great one and The Christmas Carol is one of my favorite holiday must see classics.
Great venue. Productions are varied and well cast.
The auditorium was beautiful and the play is great. The actors are amazing.
Artistic Director does great Shakespeare. Several productions have gone to Broadway with Tony nominations and awards.
Nice, small theater not a bad seat, some very good plays.
Excellent productions. Always enjoy the shows.
There's not a bad seat in the place and we loved the performance of The Christmas Carol!
My son had great experience at their summer camp. Emily is great with the kids and parents!
I've been to a couple shows at Hartford Stage. They've both been top-notch, high quality shows!
If you can find decent parking, you will actually get your money's worth: Broadway-level talent displayed here.
Superb! Excellent delivery, should be more mainstream.
I love this place. Everything we've seen here has been great. The sets are amazing!
just amazing, went to see like street and it was beyond amazing, they always manage to amazing me with the clean environment
No matter where you sit there is a great view of the stage. Acoustics are good also
Intimate theater with excellent staging and production. Ample parking in attached structure.
Great place to see a show, always well done and comfortable.
