Great layout. Beautiful venue The only problem is the seating behind the video monitors. Wish the seats were built a little higher as your view is blocked. Sound is great. Comfortable seating.

This is a really nice performing arts center! The venue is beautiful. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas when I visited. I sat in the mezzanine and the sound and visual quality was good even when not on the ground floor. There were sitting areas outside of the main performance hall for parents with small children who might need to step out. There were plenty of bathrooms available. I recommend seeing a show at this venue!

Have been to this venue before and normally would rate at 5 stars. However, we were there for a ballet performance in the Black Box theater and their air conditioning went out. There were performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and they didn't get someone in there to repair the air with temperatures outside in the high 80's. It easily had to be in the mid 90's in the theater making it very uncomfortable sitting so close to each other..., and those poor dancers looked like they had just gotten out of a shower as they were performing. Luckily no one passed out from heat exhaustion. I think it was very unprofessional as well as dangerous to not get the air repaired for these very physical performances. The dancers did put on an incredible performance under very difficult circumstances; that is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1.

Always clean and a beautiful place with state of the art sound and seating. The JCA is a fabulous place to see any kind of performance. I recently saw Anastasia by Jenison High School. What a wonderful performance. I also attended the Chamber night performance with Jenison Chamber Choir and the Chamber Orchestra. Loved the talent displayed by both groups.

Absolutely stunning theater! I saw the MBA performance of the Nutcracker and it was beautiful. I am a child of the arts so I was absolutely amazed by the obvious money the school spent on creating an arts facility like this. Lovely location!

This is a beautiful venue. The sound is good and you're pretty close to the stage even when you're in the balcony. The issue is that we were in the front row of the balcony and there was no way that we could see through the railing. The entire front section of the stage was out of sight. We tried moving further up and it didn't make a difference. I know that it's a safety thing but it seems they could have found a better

I came here with my girlfriend to watch her kids perform in their Christmas Pageant. Was my first time here and I was impressed with the construction of the facility. We had seats kind of in the middle of the lower section and you're able to see everything very clearly and enjoyed ourselves. This is a very nice facility for the kids from Jenison to perform in

A great venue to catch a theater performance. Acoustics are great and the feel is of a big city performance hall on a smaller scale/ less ornate, i.e. Fox Theater in Detroit on a smaller scale. Comfortable seats. Only knocks on the place are 1) I didn't see any concessions while I was there and 2) the bathrooms, although clean, are incredibly small and thus had lines winding to the main atrium.

I spend A LOT of time here. I have 3 kids in band. I have spent my fair share crammed in hot sweaty gyms and auditoriums. Not anymore! The seats are comfy, the lighting is great! And I especially love my 80+ year young grand mother can come and enjoy her great grand kids perform.

The play was excellent!! However, it would have been great to know when I purchased the tickets that the was a second, smaller theater. Sat in the car for almost an hour waiting for the doors to the performing arts center to open, as did a number of other people.

This place is very upscale, and a great place for concerts. There is a lot of attention paid to acoustics to make the sound carry well. Seats are comfortable, and there's a nice lobby.

Spectacular venue for school productions, community theater, and professional acts. Not a bad seat in the house. Perfect acoustics paired with comfortable seating. It's been called a "mini DeVos Hall" and the moniker fits...with the bonus of mini pricing!

It demonstrates dedication to the arts in a way that inspires both students and adults. This is a beautiful center. And really supports how much of an Arts-focused school and community Jenison is. One suggestion would be to raise the banisters on the 1st row balcony levels. I'm so afraid someone will lose their balance and fall right over.

Great place! I feel like it's a good place to bring the community together. My only issue is jenison as we know is a predominantly white area, so as somone who is not I felt like I stood at and maybe was even started at much more then other people.

I have greatly enjoyed the theatrical performances put on by Shadblow Theatre, which works out of the JCA. Their black box plays are especially moving, intimate, and a grand experience for anyone looking for quality theater in a unique space.

Went to see the Kdg-2nd grade spring program. Theatre is very nice, seats are snug but comfortable. A little congested trying to exit when the show was over.

Even though the facilty is Beautiful it is really sad they did not install a hearing loop/tcoil for those with hearing problems. Though the sound was good for me--my husband who has 2 cochlear implants heard about 1% of the Mark Lowry concert tonight. Very sad that in this brand new fine arts center did not install a hearing loop!!
