Reviews of Levitt Pavilion Denver
Wonderful views and venue. Beautiful spot to see views of Denver and the mountains ⛰️. I suspect sunsets 🌇 will be quite the experience. Planning on visiting during the day to catch the views. Sound was superb and you can't beat seeing JD McPherson with the Patient Zeros for free. Fun times. …
Wonderful local venue for outdoor concerts. Bring a blanket, chair and a picnic or…grab a bite and beverage at the venue. They offer over 50 free concerts each season and others for a reasonable fee. Come with family, friends or neighbors and enjoy the entertainment or just come and discover new bands or see those you love.
Went and saw the Polish ambassador here on memorial day weekend and wow what a beautiful venue, great sound, great view from no matter where you sit! what a vibe! Was my first time there and definitely will not be my last 🥰 …
Awesome place to see a show! Most shows are free! It's a great place to bring the kids, have a picnic, and let them play on the hill while parents enjoy the music! You can bring in a picnic and sealed plastic non alcoholic beverages. They also have a food truck or two at each show and a bar for adult beverages!
Amazing venue for concerts. Very open and staff was superb with information about area and our VIP accommodations. Parking was a little hectic sharing with baseball fields but set up easy when needing to leave.
Great place to see a show. Parking can be a challenge. But overall a good experience, especially. On a perfectly warm August evening..
And show started promptly at 7:00 🕖
so don't lollygag !
Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe killed!!
Head for the Hills and Hot Butter Rum Band did great shows. Hope they come back next year. Breckenridge brewery has the beer contract. Be aware $13 tall can of coors or whatever. OMG! You can not bring booze in but sealed non alcoholic drinks ok. Check website for changes. Overall nice spot.
Went to the first High Ground Festival in early October and had a great time. Awesome place to have a concert venue, loads of space to sit or toss a frisbee during or between sets. Decent sized dance area. Great atmosphere. Parking is limited but accessible. If you don't want to pay for the concert, you can sit far away at the top of the hill by the sun calendar/bathrooms/park area.
Nice place for a summer concert. Arrived early, easy parking and access to i25. Brought chairs and dinner, sat close and sound was good
Loved the Femi Kuti show. It was nice to get two hours of deep connection with my motherland roots and receive the message from the ancestor that Femi and his son brought to us. I love that Levitt Pavilion Denver works hard to share free music and we shall continue to support you. 🙌 …
Levitt Pavilion is always an amazing time! Great sound system. Chill atmosphere, sit anywhere you like. Definitely recommend!
As a volunteer driven venue the scene is a bit confusing but when the music starts the place is 5 Star GREAT! VIP tix are a joke so skip that option and go for free.
I love this venue. Whether it is a free or oaid show, the vibe is always great! Love how you can bring blankets and good and drink. I highly recommend!
Had a wonderful time at Levitt Pavillion Denver for the event Color Feild for only $25 I got to see a couple of my favorite artist Flamingosis and opiou. Great family friendly environment & good sound quality even in the back of the field. They usually do free shows so if you get the change I highly recommend checking it out.
Another great spot to see live music in Denver. I love that it is close from anywhere in the city limits. Also great is the size, much smaller than the other amphitheaters, giving it a more intimate feel. It has the best sound and lights system too; the sound engineers (Randall?) achieved a great balance of sound quality and volume. Crowds are mixed for most shows: twenty-something's, people with young children and seniors. Food trucks at events make for easy dinner and a show. It was awesome catching local heroes Devotchka there.
Great out door venue. Make sure to bring an umbrella and sunscreen it is Colorado after all. They offer an awesome line up of free shows, wish the beers weren't $12 but the grass is soft the music is good and you can bring your own picnic to boot. Just leave your non plastic utensils at home.
i have been coming to this place since it opened . it is right down my block. this is one of the greatest venues Denver has to offer. Great artists and always a safe and fun place to bring kids if you have some. My only complaint is drinks are a little on the pricier side but now days seems like these are the prices at most restaurants . staff is always friendly and a good place to meet or hangout with friends
I really enjoy this venue since it's so laid back and outdoors. I do have minor gripes about the regulations but nothing you can't handle without doing some research before going.
First off, if you are going to see a show, get there early, especially if you or someone with you has mobility issues. The parking situation can be a beast. If you want to get around this, go past the first entrance on the right if your coming from Santa Fe and use the Ruby Hill entrance. There's another parking lot that's less busy.
Second, the acoustics are better the further you are from the stage. Don't worry about not being able to see the performers. There are large screens casting the performance on either side of the stage.
Finally, there's nothing wrong with going inside the park and watching from there. There are food trucks, a bar, bathrooms and you can bring your own food and creature comforts according to the regulations. However, I prefer to sit outside of the gates and do my own thing. To each their own, I say.
No matter what, Levitt Pavilion is a cool, fun venue for every member of the family.
It was a great experience. Parking was a messy challenge but the venue was fun.
Fantastic venue, superior sound system, and it’s close in town! Beats Fiddler’s Green any day
Just an amazing place to see a concert. It feels amazing to be out door and breath your own air. There is plenty of space and just a great atmosphere. No to mention the concerts there are free and they always manage to bring in some amazing trucks. Great place to go.
We saw the North Mississippi Allstars for free on a Wednesday night. It was great. The fans were really laid back. Everyone was having a good time dancing and enjoying the music. The sound was great. The drinks though not cheap weren't completely outrageous. It was a good time for the whole family.
Had a TON of fun seeing Graham Good and the Painters! They bring a ton a joy and positivity to the mic 🎤 and you can't help but start dancing!
Also saw Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers 🌈 and that was a blast as well! Such a great night!
Outside lawn with blanket and drinks! Free concerts in the cool Denver air and skyline with love ❤️
What a great effort from a great community.
I anticipate the sweet little venue will grow and become even more amazing than it already is.
Very clean and organized and extremely comfortable.
We saw the North Mississippi Allstars... They were five stars as well!
Love this place for the free summer concert series. Lots of space and parking can be found all around if you get there early enough. Plenty of seating (lawn) in/out of venue to hear the bands.
Incredible place to see a concert. Highly underrated as one of the top venues in the city.
I love going to see free shows here during the summer that features all kinds of different music. They make live music more accessible to the public. Seeing acts like Five Iron Frenzy,
Fleetmac Wood, Flobots, and others was so great !!!!!
So, my first experience with Levitt Pavilion was just a few weeks ago. I saw Tower of Power and Average White Band. I am very familiar with the Ruby hill area and neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised by this outdoor amphitheater. The amount of grass and trees is so nice to see. It enhances the overall look. I enjoyed the gentle sloping hill that the patrons sit on, opposed to "other" outdoor venues. You won't be uncomfortable! There is not a bad seat in the house. The acoustics travel well and you'll see folks sitting outside the gates listening as well! The concessions, drinks are pricey! Overall, this is a great place to see a show!!
Nice venue and the free concert series is a great idea and well run. Great for a family friendly evening or date night. The concession prices are high or on par with typical concert (but reasonable given the free entrance and they help funding). Only complaint is lack of direction for entrance and pickup for ride services. The woman out front only waved us off the park entrance without any direction. Improved signage and/or helpful direction from the workers is needed. All in all, great night.
I was very impressed with this small venue tucked away in Lakewood CO.
some decent acts perform here year around. very easy to get to and very easy to get out of. Sittin in our own chairs in the lawn is awesome!
Great venue. Saw Ra Ra Riot, Jimmy Eat World, Third Eye Blind. Only problem was paid parking was the worst at the venue. Not worth 12$. Best to get there early and park in the park not in the paid hike mud pit.
Great place to watch concerts. They also have free concerts during the summer. Bring your own blanket and chairs. Can buy food and drinks inside or bring your own food. Concert we went to didn't allow canned drinks.
This is a great place. The free concert series is always on-point with something top shelf for everyone throughout the concert season. Ticketed events are very much the same sort of affair and always reasonably priced. Located within a very popular park - Ruby Hill, the grounds are kept very clean and welcoming. (For all the snow bunnies, ski bums, and snowboarders reading this - Ruby Hill puts together a slope style park when the park gets enough snow in the winter 🤘🤘🤘)
I have never ever had anything but good exchanges with the staff. After seeing many shows here I can say the concert-going crowds are generally very good and welcoming too.
Bring a blanket, post upon the hill, and remember what real summer concerts used to be like - all ages and fun.
The one and only downside to all this awesomeness- concessions are as pricey as they are anywhere else. But it's my only gripe and is a 1st world problem.
Go - enjoy a summer evening with your favorite humans and great music!
Went here to see Cage the Elefants and Rise Against. It was one of the best concerts of my life. The people doing the lights were on point, the music was out of this world, and the atmosphere was so addictive that you never wanted the concert to end. Parking wasn't a hassle either. Highly recommend!
Great venue for the most part. Sound and stage are great. Seating is all grass but they allow you to bring chairs and blankets. Beer lines are horrible though. Definitely need to figure out that piece. Bathroom lines aren't too bad, but portapotties are on a hill so be careful if you've had a few too many cocktails. Lots of free events and paid event throughout the year!
We attended the Tears For Fears concert here. The sound was good and the seats we paid for offered a great view. The reason why I only gave three stars was due to parking and the entry process. We attend a few concerts per year and I am no stranger to the fact that no matter what the venue parking is never a fun ordeal. That being said this place simply does not have the capacity to accommodate a large crowd. We arrived an hour and a half early only to spend the majority of that time trying to find a parking spot and sitting in standstill traffic. They closed the parking lot when there were at least 20 available spots left of course that wouldn't have changed too much as there were still people fighting for parking spots even after we found one. After finally parking we went to get into the venue. We had to wait in line and show tickets which is customary. We had purchased seats so after waiting to get into the venue we then had to wait in an additional line well missing part of the first performance. This should have been sorted out in the first line. From what I understand this place offers a free concert series which is pretty cool and the park around the pavilion seemed very nice. Perhaps they should stick with lesser known artists when planning concerts. After spending over $200 per seat I would have expected a little more.
Great place! I didn't even know this venue existed until recently. Has free concerts all summer with a few paid concerts thrown in and it gives a platform to up and coming local acts to show their stuff. It's run by a non profit organization. Beautiful set up with plenty of lawn seating. Great place to bring the kids. You can even bring in your own food and drink (no glass bottles) plus there are food trucks and beer/hard seltzer sold inside. Perfect way to spend a summers night.
Only 2 complaints are; women's bathroom line was unbelievably long and when the men's had no line. i.e. need more woman's bathrooms! When you're leaving the park you're only allowed to exit over on the Evans side and it caused a very long (I mean really long) and unnecessary wait while you're running your car and wasting gas. Open up the Jewell exit too!
The Levitt pavilion is one of the most amazing things Denver has!!!!!!!!!! Always a great time good vibes and amazing music. 50 free Concerts every summer. Outstanding to the core!!
I'm normally the guy in the big truck pulling up to the back hours before the show with stage pieces and chairs but I very much enjoy the concerts from my hammock just beyond the fence. I mainly just go to the free concerts so I don't feel like I'm stealing music and it is always a good time. My friend that hammocks here with me goes into the property with his tickets after I wander off and he sends videos and it always looks like a good party!
This a fantastic outdoor venue owned by the City and County of Denver. There are numerous concerts, both paid and free, offered during the late Spring, Summer, and early Fall. Parking is difficult so finding other ways to travel to the venue is recommended. Food and beverages can be purchased inside, but outside food can only be brought in for free shows. Definitely check their website for details and updates.
Great place to see a concert! Small and intimate but big sound. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was free (and close), all together a great experience!
Solid, casual, outdoor amphitheater in a small Denver park. Great sound quality, plenty of space on the lawn, easy parking, and FREE shows... not a big, flashy venue, but definitely does the trick. I'll undoubtedly be back.
They're amazing! The best venue in the city! A true community -driven nonprofit with heaps and heaps of free shows each season. The best lineups. Family-friendly. Beautiful! Amazing sound. We go sledding there in the winter and it makes me so excited for summer. We bring the kiddo swimming at the pool in the park and then walk on over to see shows right after. I've seen so very many absolutely favorite bands for free and am always happy to have the $ left to buy a drink and make a donation too! Totally bikeable as well, right next to the Platte river - we almost never have to drive there! LOVIT!
Absolutely amazing! First time here for a concert and was beyond blown away with it all. Big thank you to Oh He Dead and The Dip for an amazing evening with the family😁 …
Beautiful outdoor venue with amazing sound system. Huge area with lots of room and lots of parking options. We had a great time at the show we saw here!
Absolutely love this venue! The only thing I wish they had was a camera capable of zooming in on the artist so the lawn peeps could see, bit other than that I loved it! Can't wait for my next concert there!!
The show was good, and the sound was decent, but the amenities were severely lacking. The process for entry was ridiculous. The security checkpoint was extremely slow and clearly ineffective. Why am I able to bring in non alcoholic sealed drinks in plastic but not aluminum? It doesn't make any sense. The selection at the drink trailer is very lacking beyond alcohol. We ended up leaving drinks at the entrance which I was told would be thrown away. Then buying overpriced, low quality, bottled water. The two food trucks each had an hour wait. We didn't feel like standing in line...again. For the price of the ticket I was rather disappointed in the service at the venue.
Love this venue! Sit in chairs or on blankets, close to people or far away, dance or watch. G Great sound, awesome views from anywhere so many free concerts.... what's not to love...
Caitlin is the best person to ever meet. It was a pleasure to work for another company with such an amazing OP manager. She was very kind, silly, amazing, and fun to work with. With all the jokes and such it kept up my day and put a smile on my face during out 1800 got junk appointment with her! Not only as a OPS manager but as a person as well!
A great venue, perfect for taking the kids! They have food trucks at each event and offer drinks (water, soda, canned cocktails, beer). You can bring in your own chairs, blankets, towels, and outside food. It is a fun, laid back, family friendly atmosphere.
I’ve been coming here since it’s first season. How could you not love great free music ?! The 2021 summer line up is the best yet!
Awesome spot that hosts free concert series during summer. Plenty of space and parking. Pretty much all grass so not really a bad spot in the place. Great times! This video is of Polish Ambassador from July 3rd 2021
Alex Cuba!! Grammy award winner in the park ...? Ok!!!
The parking and flow of traffic is a thing to be aware of when going to this venue.,.. beyond that.. Excellent small venue!
This is a great venue for the family. The free shows are an awesome way to bring kids of all ages to a show. I love seeing bands in all sorts of genres. The bands are always excellent. The ticketed shows are great too!
Loved this place. So much spaciousness. Plenty of room to dance. Bring a chair and blanket and sit back on the lawn. As it gets dark it's a great place to view the light show. And it's easy to hear the music. It would be way too loud in the VIP section. When I went only one food truck was available to bring your own food.
Amazing concert and venue! Wish I lived in Denver so I could go all the time, but trips from Fort Collins is easy enough and totally worth it!!
Great venue. They bring some really good acts through and most shows are free. Great place for the family or to party with friends.
Amazing park in busy Denver area, nicely located area, too bad people don't respect the place getting a lot of graffiti all over, parks workers are working hard to clean up. Thank you to hard workers trying to keep every looking nicely.
Awesome time and experience! A great venue for The Dead South concert!!💯 …
Great sound at this venue. Decent parking, nice park surrounding the whole pavilion area. Shows here are usually very affordable, and you can bring blankets and chairs usually. (depends on the show)
We saw one of their first big paid ticket shows there and the crowd was pretty large...maybe 5k people. For one of their early shows (I know they need to work out the kinks) we were pretty impressed. The facility is great. Parking isn't the best, but again it's a new process for them. Once you're in, it's pretty nice. The stage wasn't too easy to see from the back grassy hill, but the front "bowl" was fantastic. The sound seemed good, but a little quiet so I wonder if they have to keep it quieter than normal because of local houses. Concessions were a little wonky in their layout and people were confused by the lines, but not too bad. They need to communicate better that there are rest rooms at the top of the hill as the lines near the stage were insanely long and people were agitated...at the top, no lines at all. Parking a little suspect and people were leaving going the wrong way on one way street.
Amazing place to sit on the grass and watch a concert.
The venue was great! Parking was not easy, go really early for the best spots. The smoking was atrocious. Not sure if it is the venue's responsibility to police that hence the 5 star review. If it is the Venue's responsibility they need to do a LOT better at enforcing the no smoking rule! Seriously I felt like I sat in a cloud of smoke for an hour and a half of the 3 hour event.
It's a great spot to come with the family. Enough space to stretch out and have the kids run around.
I saw Rise Against here. The general admission section is way better than Fiddlers Green because the hill is flat in parts so you can actually dance.
You guys are the best!!!! Free shows all summer long love you keep up the good work!!!!!
Summer concert at the park was loads of fun for parents and kids.
Always enjoy this outdoor venue. Great "free" concerts & some paid too! Always a fun time!
MT & JT
Killer venue. Loved the atmosphere and that the concerts here are free. Bring a blanket or chair and kick back on the spacious lawn and enjoy.
Beautiful and impressive venue. Fun, free, open air concerts all summer. Not much shade when the sun is out
This place is such a gift! I honestly can't believe everything that they do for the city and most of it is at no cost. I have had some of the best times in my life at this place and none of it could happen without their generosity.
Went to the BTR concert last night had a blast but had a few concerns i carry a nife dailie for work so I did forget I had it on me i was willing to give it up wheni got to the gate but was not surched for weapons I could have walked in carrying my concealed weapon if I wanted to I think security needs to be better especially now days buti did have a great time
54 community / free shows a season. It's a fun time with excellent sponsors and a fun, community centered show. Bring a blanket, snacks, and good homies to have a great time. Lots of local artists and smaller shows, but has the capacity to hold larger acts. Wheelchair accessible and multiple pokestops!
Attached photos are from the Ripe show August 2018.
Great atmosphere of people of ALL COLORS dancing, singing and eating together! Great vibe and I had a great time!
It was a very nice day to enjoy music, vendors, wish there were more vendors as well as food vendors. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you!
Always a delight to walk around this beautiful park
With its new face to the public as events center and recreational park
Family will enjoy a wonderful day together
Come check it out u wont regret it
Such a great place to visit all year round! The summers are especially great because of the free concerts. Bummer that dogs aren’t allowed in but I also get it. The bands are always amazing and the vibes are immaculate! Love spending my summer nights here
This place could sure use some parking added. If you come here plan to get here early to gind parking, or walk from nearby. This venue compeates with the attached park and softball fields for the limited number of parking places. The grass hill is a great place to see a concert in a very casual setting. Bring your own chairs or a blanket.
Nice venue. Sound wasn't great. May not be the venues fault.. They do allow blankets and chairs. Also food and drinks.
Fantastic venue, very chill with lots of space, saw thievery corporation and had a blast!
Cool venue. I just wish the acoustics were better. Sit in the part behind the sound equipment with not so great of a view for the best sound or have a great view but hear the concert like you were listening out of a straw
Very very nice venue! You can bring in chairs, coolers. Sound was great! Reggae festival was awesome!
Attended a paid concert here the past weekend and was presently surprised. The views alone are worth the visit. Staff was nice and the facility was clean. Looking forward to my next show here!
Attended free concert series performance with wife and 2 young children. Kids met and played with friends, tried out dance moves, enjoyed live music. Can't really imagine a better family outing.
Sure $12 for a beer is a bit steep. But when the show is free… no complaints. Hint: the good beer can be found stage right (left side) 😉 …
Absolutely astounding venu. Plenty of room. Amazing backdrops. And the acoustics get better the farther you move away until you are about 80 yards out so no need for earplugs unless you want to be close.
Awesome venue, check the weather the day of to dress accordingly but clean and easy to get to venue. They should put the camera guy though in the back, the scaffolding blocks literally the entire center viewpoint of the stage but still a great time!
Attended the Tears for Fears concert here. This is a great space to watch a concert, but they need more bathroom facilities for women and more food options for large crowds. Parking is a problem, as well. But the stage setup is very good, with good sight lines, and we could hear everything from our seats clearly.
Amazing place in Denver to see great free shows of popular performers. Ruby Hill is perfect to bring a dinner, a blanket and some lawn chairs, and the family for a relaxing show. We saw the yearly performance of Fiesta Colorado Dance Company and ArtistiCO (with Mariachi Sol de mi Tierra and Latin Sol), free! What a beautiful night.
What a cool venue! Really had alot of fun and it wasn't hard to find good parking. Dead south and Tejon Street Corners Thieves were awesome! Its the most hassle free venue I've been to in awhile!
Nothing not tonkioe about this place. Great free music. Good selection of food and drinks. Very kid friendly.
Got free tickets to the Wale concert and took one of my best friends! Beautiful venue, excellent event and wonderful staff!
Great venue. Beverage lines were quick and the service was great from three different servers. Parking is the only issue.
Great venue for a concert. Staff is professional and courteous. You can see the stage from anywhere and the sound system is great. Bring the family and friends.
The bag search is standard but lenient. They made me empty my water bottle, and show the contents of my bag, but I could keep my banana, sandwich, and vapes.
This is Denver's best new outdoor music venue. Killer sound, family friendly, most shows are free, great food, awesome outdoor space. Check out the calendar and go see a show! All the complaints about last season have been addressed and lessons learned, they've seriously stepped up the game where it's been needed. Now they're onto their second season and first full summer, and it's going to be a blast.
A wonderful location for an evening concert. Yummy food trucks. A great time was had watching Elvis Costello on the lawn!
Great venue with easy access. Parking is limited for cars and alcohol prices are high, but expected. Being able to bring in your own food is a nice perk.
great venue, a huge amount of grass to kick it on. but no shade in most of that. saw 311 and my band, New Politics!! Great show, but lose the tent at the mixer.it blocked a huge swath in the close center of the stage.
Very nice open venue, all the kiddos had a great time playing while we enjoyed some music.
Great venue but parking is terrible!!! Be prepared to do some walking!
Amazing sound and venue, not happy with the price is the good and drinks, really over priced but I guess they gotta make money somewhere right...
Great venue. Saw Steel Panther .. grass was very lush and the employees were very helpful and friendly.
Great venue. They allowed us to bring in food to enjoy. They are also doing great things for the community.
Looking for free fun? Check out this outdoor venue featuring free summer concerts.
It was amazing, good tunes good food good people Great time I definitely will be back
Hands down THE BEST outdoor venue for FREE live music
Beautiful space. Food truck options were varied but plentiful enough to keepines down. Very enjoyable evening with robert earl keen.
Really cool outdoor venue similar to fiddlers green my family really enjoyed seeing The Used and Rise Against here I look forward to coming here for more shows in the future!!
A great venue for outdoor concerts. A smaller reserved seating area and a huge lawn that's actually a hill overlooking the stage area.
I can never get enough of this place during their free concert series.. really does not get better than that
Worked this venue fun day!
Very nice open air concert venue. Dogs!!!! Also, free concerts in the summer. Great sunsets in the summer.
Don’t waste money on VIP seats. You get zero visibility because the dance floor is front of you. I am not sure what the premium charge is for.
Fun venue to see a show!! I always enjoy outdoor seating, getting to be in the grass. Also, I had a great vantage point to see the stage, and that made it much more enjoyable!
But I will say, there were not enough food vendors at the 9/24 show - I missed an entire band while waiting in a line that really wasn't that long. People rush from work to the venue for a 6pm show start time, so it would be nice to not miss the entertainment that we've paid for because we are starving and need to eat dinner.
Great venue with modern atmosphere. New spot to see artists. I really enjoyed the great staff.
Great venue, great concert!!! Thank you 104.7 the drop!!! #WALE
Thank you for allowing me to see a great concert for the first time in two years ❤️❤️❤️
Great shows, great people. always a good time..parking is easy and good food trucks too. Sun goes down over your back so always a good view of the stage.
Beautiful park and concert venue. Will definately find my way back there
Love the free summer concert series!! Lovely place to see a show
LOVED the concert (saw home free) but the staff was rude and the chairs are so close together that I had people (big people) taking half of my chair, I was not comfortable but I was happy to be skinny so I could fit in what part of the chair I paid for was left for me to sit on!
This is a fantastic outdoor venue, however it’s missing a few things. The sound could definitely better. The beer and food lines are ridiculously long. The video screen is smaller than just watching the stage. However it is a great place to see a show. Being able to bring chairs, blankets and outdoor food is unheard of.
Awesome place to be at. You can do concerts, Yoga or simply just go relax!
Went to see Big Time Rush the concert was amazing but I can't say much about the place itself
Sorry 🙂😶😺 …
Awesome venue, sound system, and free concerts with local talent, food trucks and beaucoup park seating.
Great place to see a show.
Great little intimate concert venue.
It's a great venue providing free music!! Great for young kids too, tons of room to run around. Parking might be an issue if a lot of people show up though...
Great free shows in a lovely setting. Good beer and food trucks!
Absolutely loved the entire experience!!
Came to see The Dead South. I would definitely come to the Levitt Pavillion again. It's beautiful here, the acoustics are really good and the event was ran really well.
The pavilion is located in Ruby Hill Park just southwest of downtown. I love this outdoor venue.
Attended a graduation here. Ample parking, requires a bit of a walk but appeared accessible.
Update 6/16/2022 - Attended one of the free concerts & found easy parking at the top of the hill. Brought our dinner & enjoyed a few drinks to help support this amazing venue/nonprofit. Plenty of shade & room for kids to run.
Great place to see a show! Excellent sound system as well...
This was the first concert we have been to at this venue. It was amazing. We brought our camp chairs, and we were able to easily find a great place to sit. Parking was easy to find and the staff kept everything moving smoothly. We can't wait to come back again!
This is a wonderful venue. I have seen two free shows here this summer. They allow you to bring in a sealed non alcoholic drink so I don't have to pay $5 for a water like most venues. The only thing I would suggest is more sun/rain shelter otherwise I've had wonderful experiences there.
The venue is great, good hill to sit on & enjoy music. Security was really intense though. They asked for people to leave after the show & a guard ended up pushing my drunk girlfriend because she wasn’t moving fast enough. I get it you want us to leave the show but handling people on drugs should be taken with more care.
Fantastic and family-friendly venue for live music. They built a great Pavillion with every spot of the huge lawn providing a great view. And most of the concerts are free! What could be better? Bring a blanket and some food for a picnic, but there are usually some food trucks selling food. Been back 3 times already and looking forward to many more!
This is an amazing venue! We weren't sure what to expect during our 1st visit, but if you like open outdoor spaces you will love this! Be sure to bring blankets or chairs as the seating is on the beautiful grass. We want to go back again!!!!
Terrific sound, lights, acts....great people. Super friendly and helpful. Free shows.....get your tickets early for the more nationally recognized acts. Such a great nonprofit venture. Support them in any way you can!!
Overall pleasant field, although the new shift in the VIPp parameters keeping people very far away from the stage was unpleasant. Doesn't make sense to give so much space for VIP when there wasn't even enough VIP to occupy the space. Felt strange to be that far away from the music
The facility is pretty nice, but parking is terrible - especially when the event promoter doesn't mention that the entrance is at the South end of the park. And the sound was so loud we had to leave the festival. With the fairly small crowd, there was no need for the sound to be cranked up so it hurt my ears standing outside the amphitheatre. I'll think twice about attending another event there, even though most events are free
Parking for concerts is terrible! Get there early! Other than that it's gorgeous!
Great place to see a show. Make sure to bring your picnic supplies!
Concert was great, venue was awesome. only complaint was after enjoying my night was returning to my car to see a parking ticket. I parked where I was directed to park, ticket says it was in the grass which wasn't true and my friend parked next to me got a ticket that literally says "Park or Drive motorized vehicle" $100 ticket wasn't great but the venue was. so double check where you park and don't trust the people working there.
Very nice venue for outdoor performances.
Saw a free concert here (Denver Concert Band and Mountain Winds Quintet). Had a great summer evening experience.
Love this venue! They have a great summer series with free shows and really good bands/acts. Bring a blanket or some chairs to make your self more comfortable. They usually have drinks and food trucks at the venue too if you don't bring much.
Awesome concert venue. Beer is a bit pricey ($12) but at least they are tall boys... Usually 3 different food trucks as well.
Bring your camping chairs and enjoy some free music!
It was a nice place to go for a concert. Parked in the adjoining neighborhood to the west because the parking was full.
I love this venue. Looking forward to the season opening weekend!! My fave is the lawn. Plenty of portable bathrooms. Food carts and wine and beer for $ale.
Great time, nothing better than to have a beer with friends and listen to good music 🎶 outdoors …
An incredible spot just outside of downtown for live music. Many free shows put on for the community. Two food trucks on site with a beverage window for beer wine water and pop. Incredible sound throughout whether you wanted to be up front or up high in the grass.
Great venue, donations accepted for free General admission. Heard blue grass tonight, just wonderful evening. There are several lots, mark your to avoid confusion upon exit.
Staff at the beverage counter was Ultra rude. Also my rear-view mirror got stolen. I was parked across the street because the parking lot was full. I really like the space and the performance was awesome. The sound here is amazing! Be careful where you park I don't expect a heck of a lot out of the beverage counter in the way of courtesy.
Free summer concerts events at an outdoor concert venue. I love it, thank you to whoever is sponsoring these concerts. I have discovered new artist here and it always a good time. They usually have food and drinks trucks here too. Parking is freeeeeeee. Yay!
Great performance by Melissa Etheridge at a fantastic venue. Very open natural and green setting while still incorporating sidewalks and modern amenities to accommodate thirst, hunger and calls of nature without being obnoxious. Very nice stage and sound at another natural amphitheater in Colorado. Thank you Denver Parks and Rec!! Best crew in the U.S.A.!!
Great new amphitheater. Great for families, lots of room to spread out. We brought in some snacks, bought some drinks and food from the trucks!
Super Cool Place I have lived in Denver all my life and attended a lot of music events and had never been to this venue my girlfriend is mobility limited and they were very accommodating and great staff I also donated because it's awesome that the show was free. I will definitely be going back. That you Levitt Pavilion and Staff.
So far, so good! Here to see Melissa Etheridge
Fun place. Learning to just stay outside the park and listen, don't have to go in to enjoy.
The free summer concert series is knocking my socks off. This is a great venue built around a natural amphitheatre so shows sound fantastic. It's a clean and friendly space with plenty of parking.
The spacious lawn makes for an excellent socially distanced community music experience where one can engage as much or as little as feels comfortable while getting a good view and some tremendous sound.
VIP tickets earn you proximity to the stage and sometimes seating.
There are a generous number of porta potties and usually at least one food vender.
Love the chill vibe at this venue. I REALLY appreciate that so many shows are free! The refreshments are a bit pricy but I don't mind paying more since the shows are free. I enjoy the venue and think you will too.
Hiding out at Rose Hill, this amphitheater was fantastic! Saw Coheed & Cambria and The Used here. Aside from a small cordoned-off "VIP" area all seating is general admission (at least for this show) which allowed people to stretch out as much as they wanted. The food trucks brought some great food out with highly varied choices you wouldn't normally see at larger venues. The only negative I would have is their TV screen sizes weren't able to show the bands any larger than they already appear on stage, making their effectiveness rather suspect. They certainly couldn't have helped people towards the back of the arena see any better. Other than that, everything (sound, seating layout, food choices, restroom and parking availability, etc) was fantastic.
Small intimate outdoor venue was awesome!
John Legend's show was great. Excellent sound quality there.
Beautiful music, great atmosphere, and I felt really safe coming out of quarantine! Definitely worth coming out here!
The Free Concert series is the best. Our daughter loves them! She makes us stay until the encore.
Pretty cool venue, being an old park surrounded by neighborhoods creates an early curfew..
Nice venue but the sound is lousy! Can hear them when they talk and the music is not loud enough.
Very fun venue, lots of areas to lay a blanket out. Could use more bathrooms/infrastructure for larger shows
Really pretty venue, relaxed vibe. Family friendly and cool for childless adults, too! You can bring in a blanket and food.
We have a new favorite place for concerts!
Nice venue. Sound could be better while you're up on the hill though.
I come here to walk dogs and we love it. There’s a huge hill I walk up and down a few times for exercise, an amphitheater, sports fields, and A course with ramps set up to do tricks/jumps on Bikes. Very cool.
BEAUTIFUL NIGHT ! Great outdoor concert venue 😀 JD McPherson was AWESOME …
An awesome place with free concerts. Plenty of room and parking. An awesome view of the city as well. Highly recommend
We didn't go to the pavilion this time. We stopped at the park to look at the eclipse. The pavilion is nice though. We've been there several times for concerts.
Nice venue for concert with a lot of lawn space
Got excellent seats so I cant really complain anywhere about the stage view. The venue is a little small and if you're a woman, be prepared to wait past your bladder exploding for the bathroom. Otherwise, $12 beers and a good selection of food truck options. I enjoyed the concert locale.
Nice Pavillion, clean, looks brand new....really nice bathrooms!!!
This is an awesome outdoor venue. Excellent sound and lighting. They have 50 free concerts and many ticketed shows as well. I am impressed with the variety of artists and genres. These are fairly famous nationally known artists highly professional. I have seen many shows here and have never been disappointed.
Always super fun, the summer concert series draws in wonderful acts and the audience is super positive every time.
A friend told me about Levitt and that she was a member. We walked to the Pavilion and had a great time! It's a nice venue.
Everything was great except Everything was credit card only for food and beer. So the beer garden girl told me this as she's cracking my beers for my date and I. She proceeded to tell me I'm out of luck unless I can talk someone into buying our beers on their credit card and I pay them cash. Luckily a few awkward moments in we found a couple that helped us thankfully. Didn't get any food though. So all in all the card/cash thing was my only issue. Great place other than that.
Beautiful venue and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The food options were very accommodating as well as the restroom options. Be advised to bring a blanket, sunscreen, and your own first aid kit.
I was stung last weekend while waiting to get in and the medic team said they usually bring creme but didn’t this time and said my best bet was to ice it with a cold beverage once I got inside 🤷♀️ Mind you I am sober and had brought my own empty water bottle to be filled up at the water station once I got inside.
They offered me Benadryl but who wants to take that right before a concert and be sleepy for the show? Luckily a friend had a baggie that she was able to empty her snacks out of and we used some ice from her cooler to ice it. However, when that melted and I asked the bar for some ice the bartender rudely responded that he didn’t have any. When I explained the situation, he begrudgingly agreed saying “since it’s a medical issue. Hope you don’t mind if I touch it.” No bro, I don’t mind I’m not consuming it. Lesson learned, I’ll just bring my own creme with me from now on.
That being said; the overall experience was great and with a little more care from the medic team and patience from the bar staff, future concert goers here can be guaranteed a safe and enjoyable experience.
It's a decent outdoor venue and the sound and stage were solid quality. That being said, the infrastructure (parking, restrooms, ticketing, etc.) are clearly inadequate for major events. I'd definitely go back but I hope they develop it a bit more.
The Levitt pavilion is a wonderful music venue. The stage opens up to a big grassy amphitheater like bowl, that is great for dancing. This is definitely a very family-friendly venue.
Located inside of Ruby Hill Park, you can catch both free and paid shows at this outdoor, bring your own seating venue. They have beverage stands and food trucks selling eats/ drinks, but you can also bring your own snacks, an empty water bottle, and up to 2 sealed water bottles (of 32oz or less) per person. Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes to walk a block or more to the venue. Check the event website for a calendar and do's/ donts of what you can bring. If you arrive within the first hour of doors opening, you should find parking within the park, otherwise you'll be walking a farther distance after parking in the neighborhood.
We had a great time, great sound, lots of room. We will go again.
Amazing music venue! The sound is great and it has an amazing view of the city of Denver as the sun sets before a concert. Highly recommend a show here.
Pretty decent venue.. was our first time there.. and very nice even in the rain.
Pretty good out door venue in the heart of Denver. They have a really nice sound system
Very nice amphitheatre, beautiful park location. Enjoyed be a concert at this location.
Love this venue, if you ever been to Electric forest its the same vibes as if you were at Sherwood court or ranch area
Amazing place hosting free concerts with high quality bands and musicians. Every time I go I find myself saying "I can't believe this is free!"
Such a wonderful concert venue. Glad that concerts are back.
The venue is really cool..laid back atmosphere...Thievery Corporation was rockin!
I would come back for Any show.!!
Great birthday concert for my girl friend & I. Fantastic show by 3 Dog Night, Fire Fall & Hazel Miller.
Large, open concert venue. Really just a large, grassed area, in front of the large stage, which is nice. Different from most venues, which I also very much liked. I much appreciate that, over somewhere like Fiddler's Green - with the seats in front & steep grassy area behind.
At Levitt you can bring chairs or blankets, get comfy 😄 Great selection of food trucks, also as opposed to the average concert/event venue. We're concert goers in general, so this was a lovely change.
The bathrooms were decent nice park and didn't have to worry about porter pottys. Plus a nice stage size. Wish they had nicer tvs and I wish they had more then two of them. But besides that nice venue.
Great venue and free shows as well!!
Pretty sweet outdoor venue! The free concert series they are doing all summer is such a cool thing! We went for the reggae on the grass show that got cancelled and we saw the venue for only about 15 minutes before we left. I can't wait to go back! The free shows are easy to get tickets to, just RSVP online.
Fantastic place to see live music North Mississippi Allstars made my night!
Great place to bring the family without killing the bank account. Denver killed it with the FREE summer concert series!
Great concert venue & many free concerts!
What a fun night we had at the Levitt pavilion! It was our first time there, so we decided to go to a free, all ages show with the kids. Two bands we had never heard of, one local and another band on tour gave a great show and the venue is truly amazing. We felt really safe and secure and even allowed the kids to roam around to the food truck area to buy themselves dinner. There's a good selection of adult beverages on sale also. All told, a great evening at an outdoor concert!
Been coming to this park since I was a good. Now a event concert place it ROCKS. !
Another great show with Early James opening for Robert Randolph.
The Drop Block Party Was one of the Best times I had in a long time! Second time i Seen a Show at Levitt. Last time was almost 3 years ago with Average White Band and Tower of Power. loved that experience to! Thank you! Love 104.7 The Drop!
I've performed here twice now and I absolutely love this venue! It's such a nice little outdoor amphitheater with a lawn to sit on. The stage itself is really unique but it provides something different for our dancers to come out and do their thang! Their free concert series is pretty rad as well! There's nothing like being able to sit on a blanket, some food, some drinks (maybe alcoholic if you're old enough) and enjoy some good sounds and some good energies! Give it a shot next summer and enjoy it! :D
Awesome spot, I’ve been taking my dog here for years and kids to snowboard and have lamented why there have been zero concerts the whole time. Beautiful to see my longtime favorite band play a family friendly event that the kids may have had more fun at than the adults! Thank you STS9 / Sector9, and DEnver/ DEnver Parks
A great little place with a grassy knoll to enjoy all the diverse music/entertainment.
Nice big place with a reduced audience due to covid meant a nice experience that didn't feel crowded. We were allowed in with our small soft sided cool bag and cart, which made getting in and out easy.
Never had a chance to attend a live show here. Looks like a great ampatheater though , with a great view of Denver !
Really nice venue but didn't realize that they close at 10:00 pm. Not understanding that, I misjudged when the band I wanted to see would go on per typical concert schedules and missed them.
First time here. Fabulous setting for a concert. Good viewing from the entire place. At the concert I went to, people were quite well spaced. Really enjoyed!!
Great sound and it's not challenging to find a good place to see the performers. Actually, just about anywhere works fine! There's also a nice range of genres represented here, so it's always worth keeping tabs on their event schedule. Parking's a snap too!
Saw The Used and Coheed and Cambria. What a great place for a concert. My only complaint is we paid extra to be up close within the gates and they let anyone sit where they wanted. So we never had to pay more. Frustrating
Really enjoyed this venue, parking can get crowded quickly so I'd recommend showing up early if you can otherwise there's a bit of a walk but not horrible.
Excellent open air venue. Took our son to his first concert here. Coolers and empty water bottles were acceptable upon entry. We filled our waters at the drinking fountains. Skip the lines and the fees. Could use a little more speakers only because the breeze was shifting the sound. But overall we love this place.
Went for a free concert- parking was busy but attendants were so kind, concert was wonderful and the park was so cute and maintained!
Places like Levitt make Denver a great city! This is a fabulous family-friendly venue. One of the nicest outdoor venues I've been to and I can't wait for this to really catch on with folks. (It's new and people are still hearing about it.) My one and only complaint is that they need different beer options! Only 3 options from Breckenridge is inadequate. I suppose they also had Heineken and maybe another mainstream option but those don't even count as beer in my opinion. Other than the complaint about the beer, everything else about the venue is fabulous. Highly recommended!
Luckily for me I am a half a mile away from this venue. The fact they have 50 free acts a year, and always quality musicians btw, is an amazing addition to this musician's home.
These concerts are the best! Amazing artists performing in a beautiful park for FREE! Donations are appreciated though. Seriously so fun! The best kept secret in Denver but hopefully not much longer
This outdoor concert venue is nice. It's all lawn seating and chairs are allowed. There are good trucks and the venue sells both alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages (only cold beverages, no hot beverages). There are plenty of port-a-potties and both male and female toilets that are a-kin to a rest-stop toilet or a prison one. The parking situation isn't ideal, it's street parking, so if you don't want to walk a mile get there early.
Love this place! Beautiful surroundings, helpful staff, and great sound / video system. The newest addition to Denver venues certainly lived up to its hype. We will be going to many more shows at Levitt in the future. Glad to see our tax dollars working in favor of the arts. Highly recommend a visit or two.
Everything about this Venu is Awesome. Waitresses for the box seats where great
This place is awesome. You can catch up to 50 free shows a year here. The grass is super comfy and thefood trucks are always great. Be sure to catch the show coming up on August 3 with Rainbow Militia.
Anywhere you sit has great views of the stage. Don’t forget lawn chairs and sunscreen.
Small but nice chill location. Close to i25
Great venue! Saw a double rainbow!
He’d a blast watching RedBone this past weekend, great venue! Clean, friendly staff, the food trucks were a great add to the event. Plenty of bathrooms and beverage service. Purchasing the VIP was a good choice since it comes with 2 drinks and good seating. Will be back!
I love Levitt! They offer free concerts which is AWESOME! You bring your own chairs, so it's super laid back and chill. I just wish they had more food offerings, but great venue overall!
This is the place to come and enjoy a free music bring your family and friends. The music is out of this world the sound is great they have really put a lot of time into this. Thank you Andy for the great work and the time you spent showing us around be for the show tonight XENIA Resident Council
Went to a concert here and it rained for an hour. Luckily we were prepared because there is no cover. Not holding that against them because it's Colorado and the show was great. The main downside was the lines for the bathrooms were crazy; like 40 minutes crazy. If they are going to have that many tickets sold they need to make sure there are adequate bathrooms. Also a bartender charged me for two drinks when I only ordered one so be careful and watch your total.
Free music if ya sign up on their website. Food trucks, beer, nice bathrooms, and beautiful stage.
Only been here twice and I'm already in love with the place. Great sound + great events. Higher Ground Music Festival was magical 🤌 …
Parking was insane and cars blocked me in and I had to wait for everyone to leave but this venue is amazing and clean. I have so many memories here as a child, so full circle when I came to jam out to my favorite music here.
So happy to have seen BNL here, love the venue. Drinks were expensive, biffs were in good shape
Broad green at the perfect angle to accommodate a large crowd for a musical performance w/o blind spots. Parking is a bit lacking... Nice selection at the concessions.
Wonderful outdoor venue. Food trucks, great people, great music!! Love it love it love it.
I went to see Three Dog Night and Firefall Friday night.First time I have been to this venue. Traffic was a mess and took about 40 minutes to park. Nice venue. The sound was fairly good with Firefall. The sound with Three dog night was not loud enough. People had to yell to turn up the sound. Could not hear the singer talking . They need to add additional speakers on the lawn. Disappointed with my first time at this venue.
The venue itself is very nice , but I attended a large ticketed event and they needed three times the amount of vendors and definitely more restrooms. If those adjustments are made, it will definitely be one of my favorite local venues.
Great concert venue with super views and space once one finds it in park!! No signage to Pavillion which makes parking in a traffic jam a nightmare, let alone anyone needing accessible parking AND THERE IS NO SIGNAGE OR PERSONNEL to help direct you.
This place is awesome. The entrance sucked, line was crazy long and only one way in and out. Parking was a struggle, but you gotta get in where you fit in. Once inside it was all good
Great venue! Perfect for kids too! Lots of space if you want to spread out (at least at the show we saw).
Levitt? LOVEIT! A great place to spend summer nights enjoying top-notch musicians playing free thanks to the Levitt grant. The stage and sound are excellent, and there is plenty of space to dance or spread out on endless lawn. The diverse crowds also make it a uniquely fun experience. Go once and you'll be hooked!
I love this outdoor venue! I've seen several bands here and I was very impressed by the setting, the staff and the videography. They have an actual production crew that film's the artists with four to five cameras. This is situated on the old Ruby Hill which actually used to be a dump! You would never guess though because of the wonderful rolling green hills! Make sure you bring a lawn chair, plenty of friends and enjoy the music!
Levitt is a great place for families and those looking to shake a leg. Most shows have an allotted # of tickets for free as well as V.I.P. option. IMO Levitt takes the cake in Denver for creating a great vibe with dank shows.
This is an awesome place for watching bands on the cheap or free. If you pay you get the royal treatment of the folding chair kind. Or bring a blanket and cuddle while you watch. I’ve been here 4 and was lucky to be here the first time they opened their doors. Beer trucks past security. Some food but more beer.
Parking is a challenge but a great venue. Tears for fears and garage were both outstanding
This music venue is great! Well maintained and parking is easy. The view is great. They have a great music line up every summer.
Great venue!
An amazing organization dedicated to the support of live music. Over 50 free shows a year are presented at the Ruby Hill Park location. If you like live music come to a show and support this organization.
If you can donate to help keep the free summer concerts going!
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy your favorite musical group. Low key venue for small to medium concert shows. Easy close-in parking makes it ideal for carrying goodies and chairs to the lawn general admission seating.
Great place to go see live music
Great Show last Night! Hazel Miller, Fire Fall & 3 Dog Night!!
Fiesta Colorado Dance Company & Mariachi band were fantastic! The show was family friendly with people dancing everywhere! What a night! I didn't have any time to read even one page from my book BUSTED WHEELIN' N DEALIN'
It was a great concert but, they didn't have enough staff selling beer, we waited almost an hour! Needed at least 2-3 working each tent, not one! It got crazy and staff was yelling at the customers! They ran out of toilet paper, no water to wash your hands, and the bathrooms should spread out, not in one little corner. Not handicap accessible at all. By the time we got beer it was all hot, no cold beer, and ran out ice, when they had it, they were charging $1 a cup, but yet the beer was warm! It's a nice place but not planned well, and didn't take parking into consideration, not enough handicap.
This is a great place. Very pleased. Yes they need to figure out a good system for food, drinks and bathroom lines. But over all I'm very pleased. Great work!!!
Might I add the people that took the time to build this & put everything together did an amazing job.
Great work! Can't wait to go again:)
Great concert venue with reasonable ticket prices and lots of great free concerts throughout the summer. We'll kept grounds and easy to get in/out from parking spaces (also free).
Amazing venue!! Great line ups!! Fabulous food trucks, Bar and clean bathrooms. Awesome lawn seating and fun time with friends.
We went to the Home Free concert the other night and the band was awesome. The seating was not awesome. The rows were very, very close together and the folding chairs were crammed together as tightly as the staff could get them. My husband just had a total knee replacement and it was difficult for him not to get his knee hit when people were getting to their seats. No one was comfortable and quite a few people around us got up and moved to the lawn. If we had known what the seating was like, we would have bought lawn tickets and been comfortable.
Beautiful outdoor space for concerts. Lots of food trucks, several drink options. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy an evening with family and friends. Smoking is allowed on the grounds so find a spot away from people who are smoking if that bothers you.
Great medium size music venue. Parking is DIFFICULT- arrive early!! A handful of food trucks, alcoholic beverages & Pepsi products. Family friendly. Bring a jacket & blanket for lawn seating, it gets chilly when the sun goes down.
Great place for a concert. Saw Alternate Roots - great band and saw Gasoline Lollipops previously. Both good shows. Other than two drink tickets, the VIP upgrade not really worth it.
Denver needed a new amphitheater and Levitt is pretty nice. It my opinion it also misses a lot of the pitfalls of fiddlers green because the acoustics were good and the setting in the park makes it feel way less industrial. They also have 50 free shows a year and the band we went to see was one that I've paid to see before. The idea of community sponsored shows in the park is pretty neat and I really hope it continues.
Easy to park outside of the park, seating was fine and they didnt blast the music, food trucks were a great addition. Easy to get in and out.
Went to tears for fears and I loved it. I love that I can walk home from this venue and it's beautiful too.
Great place to see a concert. Concessions are reasonably priced and they keep the place really clean. I would highly recommend coming here to see a concert.
The sound was really good, the weather perfect. Friendly, helpful people working here and people didn't spill their drinks. Folding chairs for the reserved section that were kind of lightweight and flimsy but easy to store away.
Nice place to see a concert but restroom lines just way too long
Great place to see a show. Bring a blanket
Second best outdoor venue for live music in Denver
What a gift this venue is! Brining music to the people?
Fun venue. Very steep hills though.
Awesome venue to hang out and watch free music! Shhhh, don't tell anyone else ;)
I like the venue, however the sound in general admission area is poor. They really need to add about 3 speaker towers to expand the sound. Also, the line for beer/soda took over a half hour to get 2 beers so they need to add more vendors. The food was great but had to wait a while for that too. The parking situation is terrible and a complete cluster. Was told that if you park on the grass you will get a ticket, but to park in some back neighborhood would have taken another half hour to deal with and end up missing part of the show, so until they can get these things fixed I probably won't be back for a while unless it's a must see show. This was my first time there and I wasn't very impressed. I really think they can make it a great Denver venue but hopefully they'll figure it out.
Lovely venue! Beautiful lush grass throughout the amphitheater. Nice grove of trees on one side.
Great concept, nice to have live music again. Could use more shade other than the tree of life but overall a nice outdoor venue.
Beautiful place for a community concert! Why is there a fence? We chose to sit outside the fence (more shade initially. Totally fine. Then someone came around and put the tarp down so people on the outside couldn't see any more. Why?
What a great addition to Denver. 50 free outdoor concerts in the sprawling Ruby Park. Wise variety of music. Prices inside are a bit outrageous for beer and there's just two little water fountains in the whole place for filling up your empty water bottles.
Been here twice and both experiences were good. Not much parking so be prepared. And beer lines m, if you care to indulge, run at least a 30 minute wait. This is a grass seating only venue so bring a blanket or lawn chair!
Love it! Free shows! Hot chics!
What a great venue! Chali 2na was soooo fun!
This is one of Denver's best concert venues. Bikeable too!!!
Since City Park Jazz Festival ended for the season, this is the go to place for the same kind of out door venue good vibe. Don't really play jazz (Yet!)
but, it is secure ,clean, good stage and sound system. I'll be going here for the rest of the summer, see you there!
Five stars for sure. Family friendly free tunes can’t be beat. I’ve been to more than a dozen events and every show has rocked. No joke. We’re lucky to have this. Huge asset to the community!
Awesome venue. Was clean, fun and safe. Vendors were situated perfectly, and easy to get in and out of restrooms.
This is a nice venue, the sound system could use some work and maybe another big screen facing the other way. I liked that we could bring our own chairs and snacks. I was extremely disappointed in the people who seemed to think their mother's worked there. The amount of trash as we were leaving was ridiculous. I tried to pick it up but I couldn't carry my things and all that trash. People!!! Stop being lazy and pick up after yourself. Edit: I totally understand it with the noise ordinance and the neighborhood, but there were a few times when a song would start and it just didn't carry. If you've ever been to Fiddler's, you know there are restrictions! We will be back, now if we could just get Ticketmaster to calm down on those fees!
OK venue. Once you have been once you realize you could have sat outside pay zone at park for free and still see the concert from a distance. Stage view inside the perimeter is not equal. Better off just having a picnic at park for free with concert in distance.
Went to see a free concert here that occur during the summer. Cool amphitheater and good sound. For the concert they did have food truck for food and did sell alcohol at their concessions. They do setup porto-potties for concerts but also have in door restrooms as well. Parking is ok but I could see it being limited if there is a big event since it is located in a park.
It's an awesome venue, my only complaint is the audio control/sound quality isn't great sometimes. But that may be specific to the bands/artists that perform.
Most free concerts, can even enjoy a great show from outside at the park if there is a paid concert. Drink prices marginally reasonable between $8-12
Very cool venue. Excited for the shows on the summer schedule. Might be tough to nab tickets though as the shows are free.
I really enjoy the shows here!
It was very cool. Good place to see a show. Got there reasonably early. I think maybe the parking thing was overblown. But we did get there pretty early. I think it's a great new venue for Denver.
Such a cool open venue, thank you for making this space possible
Great place to spend an evening at their free concerts. They keep a fence up now around the area and you're only allowed to bring in certain items making you pay for food and drinks. Not much shade so get there early to grab a precious spot under the tree.
This is a great venue for family friendly concerts. My daughters saw their first show here and it was perfect!
Awesome place for concerts! The sound is great and being outdoors adds to the ambience. Always a great time here
Well I brought the larger umbrella's was told they were not allowed and then I seen people walk in with them . What I am saying I had to take them back to the car so are we allowed to bring the larger umbrella's and another thing when you serve Mexican brand beer you should have salt and lime other than that it was awesome and a beautiful place to have a concert thank you to your staff they was sure friendly and helped out tremendously .
Levitt Pavilion is a great outdoor pavilion that feels a bit more intimate than Fiddler's Green and a bit more accessible than Red Rocks. Most of the events here as of 2018 have been free, but my visit was for the ticketed show by the band Yes (featuring Anderson, Rabin, & Wakeman). There were five or six food trucks on site which made it easy to find something for dinner, and I was quite comfortable in the general admission lawn seating with my own camp chair. The parking situation was a bit chaotic, with no real instructions. I parked south of the pavilion in a lot near the mountain bike course. All the vehicles on that side of the park funneled out of the same exit after the show, but it actually took only about 10 minutes to get out to the city streets. I look forward to coming back here for future concerts.
I went to see John legend the concert was great the pavilion didn’t turn on the monitor so that we were able to see him when we sat in general admission
Great venue for an outside concert
I just moved here a little over a week ago and already we have seen 3 awesome bands perform here. All for free. This pavilion has already given us some awesome nights, looking foward to more!
Great venue - bring your own chairs and snacks and blankets. Beer lines move quickly and there’s a spot for everyone.
Great venue for concerts, Pedestrian friendly
Great free and low-cost concerts. Do keep in mind as the nights get cooler, even though the days are warm, sitting in the grass at night gets chilly
Clean bathrooms and great view from anywhere you sit
Levitt Pavilion
My first and only experience I have had with this particular venue was to go see the Average White Band and Tower of Power.
They like to move it, move it, we (Becky & I) like to move it, groove it. The first video and pictures are of the Tower of Power and the other ones are of the Average White Band.
It turns out they have over 50 concerts a year most of them are free. It was a fun place to go. There were families, super fun for all ages, groups of people. You sit up on a hill so you can have a little blankets and lawn chairs and bring a picnic and listen to music.
It was a hot day but once the sun started going down it became the perfect evening. I really can’t remember the last time I saw either one of these bands but both of them had some of the original people, a little older than I remember.
I think I must be in a time warp. I WOULD Definitely recommend it it was just a really fun thing to do.
We had a really good time for the FireFall concert. Next time I will bring food and drinks. The sound was pretty good even though we sat towards the back. Give it a shot, you will probably like it!
I was pleasantly surprised, this is a nice place to see a show. The sound is good, the visibility is good and it's very conveniently located. The only downside is because of its location the shows end on the early side out of respect for the neighborhood.
Really nice venue. Good sound and light system. Food is provided by 3 or 4 food trucks.
Great place to see a family friendly show!!
Great place to see a show!
Good tunes and a fun place to let the kiddos roam around.
Intimate place to enjoy an outdoor concert!
Used to be awesome, but Argo security has ruined it with their poor attitude. We only sit outside and do not support the bar or food trucks anymore.
Such a fun place. Lots of room to get funky!
In case You missed in any other post-bring your own shade! Prepaid parking doesn't equal close parking and if need handicap better get to park HOURS before event. Ours is a paid event can only imagen free concerts. Good selection of foid trucks-beer-soad. Of course concert price. 12 for 24oz beer.
Great venue. Free admission. Diverse shows. Check their schedule. They let us bring our own picnic inside. The downside is parking. Parking is free, but limited. Check their website for shuttle options.
Fantastic outside venue with friendly staff, and reasonable concession prices! Went to see authority zero here and the park is well maintained. I love being able to bring a lawn chair and sit backed.
I am not sure if this is true of every concert at the Levitt Pavillion that has both reserved and general admission, but the railing separating the sections was so high we had to go pretty far up the hill to even see the stage. Especially with the control shack in the way. Sound was awful. Again, not sure if these disappointments are the fault of the facility or the band's but if I go back to Levitt I will spring for reserved seats. I have seen this band at Hudson Gardens and never had an issue seeing or hearing them from lawn seats.
Nice open space to watch a great performance. Gets cool in the evening due to all the humidity from the surrounding water features.
Amazing venue!! Looking past the lack of parking direction during events, this is an amazing place for families and friends alike!
Saw the dead south here a while ago great place.
Amazing concert venue in a beautiful park. The people that run the venue are fantastic. Check out their concert schedule! Many of the concerts are free.
Lots of fun! Who doesn't like free concerts.
We saw Firefall and Three Dog Night on Sept 27th.
It was well set up with Foodtrucks, drinks, portapottys and close seating plus with a large hillside. Come early and no parking fee to park nearby. Recommended
Nice outdoor concert venue with several bars and food trucks. Easy to navigate, good acoustics, no bad seat to be had!
3rd time visiting this venue for a concert. Very impressed with the sound system, stage location and vendors choices. Would love to see a few country artist take advantage of this location.
We LOVE the Levitt. We live in the neighborhood and walk up with our kids, 4 and 2, at least once a week for a show. Listen this is what you need to know; this isn't as place to come see a huge act, its just not set up for it. They only have one beer stand and one bathroom and a couple of food trucks. The parking is sparse. If you're coming to see a big act prepare to get a bit frustrated. If you're looking for some good free music from a no name act this is the place to come spend an evening.
I may have gone for a free concert, but the quality was anything but cheap. Great music, professional sound and lighting systems, amazing sound quality, and a beautiful setting! Totally going back more often!
Such an awesome facility! A beautiful place to bring the family, lay out in the grass, and listen to live music. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it starts being packed so enjoy it while you can!
I love the concept of a non-profit dedicated to public music performance in an outdoor venue. The pavilion here makes me want to not only return for more concerts, but check out their other locations throughout the US.
Not enough parking for a concert venue. Not enough handicap spaces. Parking situation during a concert may get you a $25 ticket. Make sure you don't park on the grass. Lots of tickets were given the day I was there.
Great place for an putdoor concert. Specially a free one! No need for a chair, the grass is perfectfor an oitdoor venu.
My wife and I enjoyed a fun night seeing Carbon Leaf, who happened to be playing one of Levitt's final shows of 2018. The sound was fantastic (I say this as an audio engineer, and a picky one at that), and while we didn't eat there, it seems like the organizers picked a solid list of local food trucks to provide food to concert-goers.
Nice outdoor venue, good acoustics.
Cool new venue. They are reasonably priced for beers and they bring in food trucks so there is a selection of food. Volume was reasonable if not a little on the lower side which was nice.
My new favorite music venue in the heart of the city. No hot crowded streets to battle parking here. It feels like you're not in the city at moments.
Only rating it a 4 because I didn't actually go in for the concert. It was great to stay on the outside of the fence and listen to the concert for free.
Decent parking and surprising good sound for a venue that offers free concerts. Food trucks and amenities were also spot on. Staff were helpful and attentive and the area itself was clean and nice.
Great open lawn, good sound system.
Really fun venue, really hot during the day! Take shade umbrellas for sunny events, or chase the shade with everyone else around the big trees.
Burning Spear at Levitt.always a great venue
My friend and I saw Low Cut Connie here on 9/14/19. We had a great time! Beautiful outdoor entertainment venue with 360 views of the city.
Nice place .
Amazing concert of Moenia
Nice outdoor venue. Parking can be a challenge, so get there early if you are seeing a concert.
Friendly staff. Food trucks are great and change every show. Nice sound system. Open area to move around. Summer sun can be brutal so bring cover for your head.
Awesome outdoor venue. Nice sloped area. Good views of Denver behind it. Love it.
What an awesome venue provided by the city of Denver! Unfortunately you can’t bring your own drinks in, but definitely a great place to watch free concerts and purchase food and drinks!
