This well crafted and nicely decorated venue hosts some of Columbus’ live unforgettable performances. From plays, music concerts, and or comedy shows, the Palace Theatre will have you off your feet from the entertainers. Nice and friendly staff (ushers, vendors, and security). Near by metered parking and a few parking garages.
Ryan Garcia
The sister theater to the Ohio Theater, the Palace is located just a block away at the foot of the LeVeque Tower. Not only does this theater play host to numerous touring musicals, but they also entertain with movies and stand up comedians. We came to enjoy a screening of Harry Potter on Halloween weekend, complete with costumes and themed drinks!
Mark Hoffman
Very nice venue. Staff very friendly. Pouring down rain but had sheltered area to wait. Parking conveniently located. Plenty of restaurants around for dinner before the show.

This historical building is a work of art in itself, so I look forward to all shows that I attend. I encourage everyone to find a show at the Palace Theater for an evening of fun and the ability to view the architectural beauty of this building.
Joseph White (Moses Kenobi)
An absolutely stunning theatre!
My wife and I travelled from Atlanta to see Neil Gaiman speak--and read some of his works--and everything about the experience was wonderful. Even as it was raining and the line was long, it took no time at all to get checked in and directed to our seats. It was a truly wonderful event in a beautiful venue.
Lance Perry
Recently enjoyed the Horizons tour w Professor Brian Cox at Palace Theatre. Parking was easy and close and I always enjoy the venue. It really is a beautiful Theatre. I had a chance today to walk around and look at all of the detail in the architecture and decor. It's wonderfully well-kept.
Steve Smyers
Great place to watch a show, 3rd time we've been there and it's always been an unforgettable experience.
Of course a lot of this is due to the entertainment of the evening but the Palace does it part.
This is the view from our seats in the right balcony to see Tom Segura!
Rosemary's Babies
Absolutely beautiful theater and the event was amazing. The Former Ladies of The Supremes & The Temptations Revue. No parking in the vacinity. I'd recommend for any event pay for a valet.
Andy Vandewater
experience was great first time being at palace theatre the ushers was polite and helpful also black violin was awesome..great place

Palace theatre is one of oldest landmarks in Columbus, Ohio. Very beautiful theater to watch Broadway plays. Very classy and elegant in looks. Just has a wonderful old charm atmosphere to it. Seats are comfortable even though a little to close together. That's to be expected with old buildings like the palace. Overall still a wonderful venue.
Amy Margraff
Beautiful theatre! Enjoyed hearing the Glenn Miller orchestra perform here!
Christine MC
It is absolutely gorgeous but we will never be back. The seating situation is awful. My husband is 6’4 and I’m 5’7 and both our knees were pressed so hard in the seats in front of us because the leg space is so little.
Robert Kabelitz
A very pretty theater. I visited both this and the nearby Ohio theater only a few days apart, and I did find the Ohio theater to be more architecturally impressive. However, I have no complaints about this theater. I had an overall good experience here.
Gina
Friendly staff. Very helpful. Clean restrooms. Seating is a bit cramped but no worse than similar venues. Wine and beer were $9/serving. No covid restrictions even though it said so on the ticket.
Natalie Noyes
This theater is so beautiful! We saw Elf, which was a lovely show. The seats in the mezzanine are a tad tight, but the beauty of the surroundings made up for it
Angel Fuentes
Such a beautiful place inside the Acoustics for the concert were awesome had a very good time. Very friendly staff food was kind of high but doable.
Mallary Meyer
Not a bad seat in the house! Love this theatre.

Any reason go to the Palace is a great reason. The shows and atmosphere staff are always amazing. Never enough leg room
Sam Howard
Saw David Koz in his 25th Anniversary Christmas concert. Spectacular performance in a great hall. The location was convenient in downtown Columbus, beautiful interior and great acoustics.
Jason Hollingsworth
Recently went to see a performance here. Showtime was at 7:30, doors did not open until 7:15. Other than that, decent.
April Dawn Bentley
Went to see "A Charlie Brown Christmas" live at the Palace theater. What an amazing show for sure 👏 😍 I'll definitely look for it again next year. …
Gregory Hess
An amazing night seeing Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets (Pink Floyd), my daughter's first concert. A well-kept gem of a venue. Staff was pleasant. Was clean and eloquent. Drink prices were fair. Not a bad seat in this house. Sound was stellar. Parking beside in rear was $10(cheap as hell?!) And at the end, doors were opened to the street, my car a mere 20 yards away at best. Perfect experience from start to finish!
Bre Dolan
Beautiful theater. Much better seating and leg room. We enjoyed ourselves April 30th at the David Spade show!
Guy Williams
Highly recommend experiencing the Harry Potter or Star Wars film symphonics. You can't beat the Columbus Symphony Orchestra playing along to your favorite movies.
Amy Adams
This theatre is beautiful! I think the best seats are Loge section seats!
Phillip Simpson
This is a beautiful theater! Had great acoustics and comfortable seating. We had a wonderful experience! The staff was great and they had cash bars available for refreshments. Plenty of bathrooms including individual options.
I am Adrian Scott
Great to see other certified tour ambassador's who cannot only assist you with the event but also assist you with where to go and what to do around town which is always a plus. The Palace Theater is in a great location to wear if the weather permits you can take a stroll through downtown Columbus. Event parking is generally $10 and on Sunday on the street parking is free
Bonita 5 Gwynn
This place is beautiful, the gospel concert was awesome. We had great seats.. All performances were outstanding. It will be shown on television around the holidays. I recommend everyone to view it on television.
Bret Wilson
Incredible sight lines of concerts, and helpful staff. Gorgeous lobby & theatre. Saw Trixie & Katya perform here!
Diane Galliers
I paid a lot of money for box seats, but are view was obstruct ed by the speakers. Other then be way too loud due to our location the venue is beautiful and the staff were super!
S. Antoni-Sparks
Could use more staff for events, but overall pretty good. The people were nice, security included. The place was pretty clean and bathrooms were marked clearly.
Seats are way to close (front to back) so anyone who is tall literally cant fit sitting forward. Not the normal too close, this is a bit much.
Renee Devadiga
Bobby Weir and the wolf brothers were incredible!!! The venue and clean and nice, so fancy! Staff was very friendly and helpful!!
Mike Keller
Great historic venue, perfect for small rock shows. Most every seat is a good one, our front-of-loge seats were excellent. Lots of assistance available. The second show we've seen here, I hope they book someone else I want to see.
erin
Came for a comedy show. A beautiful location and very accessible parking. All the staff were incredibly kind and just seemed happy to be there. The building itself is gorgeous, I will love to come back just to explore it. Thanks!
Cassie Stratton (Cassie Nicole)
Have been here for a few shows and it's always such a great experience. Even the high balcony seats have good views. The ushers and staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Saw Rent 20th anniversary tour here last week and had an awesome time! Pro tip: use the basement bathrooms if the 2nd floor lines are too long. Lots of stalls!
Jenna Moor
Saw Rhett & Link live in concert this month! Needless to say, it was the best experience of my life!!! Palace Theater was very easy to spot with several parking options nearby. Beautiful exterior and entryway. Even though the line extended all the way around 4 sides of the building, people were entered quickly and efficiently. Ushers were especially helpful with directing us where to go and finding our seats. The theater was cavernous with many good seats available. I was in a balcony and still had a great view of the stage. Sound and lights during the show were great. You won't be disappointed with Palace's service! Check out Rhett and Link on YouTube, just search Good Mythical Morning!
Tim Powers
A neat and historic venue, the artwork and decor are fabulous and the seats are large and cushioned. History reaches out to you here with past performers posters on walls with messages and autographs.
Chris Neese Sr
Very nice theater but very cramped seating everywhere you turn you got to show your ticket just to walk through the place I enjoyed the show that I went see tonight but the atmosphere inside the theater is difficult at best to deal with for the amount of money that you're paying to be there I shouldn't have my knee shoved into the seat in front of me
KELLY GULICK
Ushers were helpful and friendly. Restrooms needed attention.
Ricky Moorehead
First time visit. We went to see Magical Cirque Christmas. We all enjoyed the show. We sat in 210, 212, 214, 216 view was geat. There was no one in front of us so plenty of leg room (6'1). Parking was not to bad $10 bucks. The garage needs to see about getting a few extra pay stations. We parked in the garage behind the palace.
Tiffany Flores
The opulence on the Palace Theatre is Breathtakingly beautiful. From the moment you walk in until you leave your are surrounded by beauty.
The chandeliers are magical.
Kathy Hoeffer
The Palace was beautiful! The folks there held fast to Covid protocols so everyone was safe.
Ralph H
Great theatre. It is very well kept and restored. The space has quality sound. I would say that the area where they sell merchandise in the front gets overly crowded and interrupts the flow of traffic.
Pro Tip - Do not get seats in the last rows on the floor. You'll hear any and all of noise from the people coming in and out of the doors into the theatre. It can ruin a great show.
Glad to have such a high quality theatre in the Columbus area.
Brian
Saw the Celtic Women here. Absolutely loved it! Staff is courteous and there really isn't a bad seat in the building.
Alexander Krajcik
6'1" absolutely no leg room, the show was great 👍 but I was uncomfortable the entire time 😟 …
Miss. Danni Tiger
Classic theater, been going since childhood, amazing events and very comfortable and accomindating!
CJ Blessing
A wonderful place each time I visit. Remember, it’s important to go on friend dates :)
Sue Wickenheiser
The Crowder Milk And Honey Tour Was
Sweet. But The Seats Are So Close Together. No Leg Room. I Know They Want To Sale Seats But Please Update The Seating. This Is An Older Theater That Was Built 1926 When People Weren't So Big As Americans Are Today.
Haley Pratt
Came here for a comedy show and had a great experience! The theatre is beautiful and the staff was professional and kept things orderly and quick while getting in!
Jill J
It is a beautiful venue! The detail inside is gorgeous! The stage is beautiful and I love the seats on the sides! We were a little cramped for leg room in our seats, but we enjoyed a great show with Ron White.
Joseph A Sparks
Beautiful theater with excellent acoustics. Seats are very comfortable. 1000 times better than places like The Schott. Only down side is the bar is right inside the door making navigating getting in more of a pain.
Pamela McCuistion
Beautiful venue, Johnny Mathis was amazing. His voice is still so smooth. He had a comedian do a set to give him time to change and rest after his first set. He's 86, he's still Johnny Mathis and he's still wonderful. He sang a mix of his hits, Mancini hits, and other music.
I'm glad I was there and got to see him!
Robyn Antico
We recently travelled from Indy to see a show at this venue, which was amazing. Most importantly was the customer service following the event. I accidentally left a raincoat there, which had fallen from the seat at some point during the evening. I contacted the venue and was pleasantly surprised to not only get a return phone-call from Mike, but an offer to ship back my coat at no cost to me (after multiple attempts to try and pay!). Having worked with the public for decades, an act of kindness goes along way. I will now gladly make the trip back for events.
Leslie Kay
The Palace Theatre was an amazing place to see Vince Gill. The sound quality was great not to mention the overall beauty of the restoration.
Tracey Coe
Beautiful theater but definitely could use more bathrooms!
Hermalyn M
Beautiful theater! My first visit didn't disappoint!
Deliris Morales
My husband and I took my son here to see the Blippi show and we all had a great time. I myself love Blippi's music and although, they didn't sing the excavator song we still enjoyed ourselves and had lots of fun. We hope he comes back soon.
Marc Williams
A great place to see Bob Dylan.
JK Hunter
Beautiful old theater.. I was lost trying to maneuver around backstage. We were their, as crew, working in Gospel Superfest. A fantastic show in it's 20th year!!! @jkhunter1 on IG
Jared Fisher
Went and saw Dermot Kennedy and it was a really great show and venue! Highly recommend.
Ben Potter
My wife and I saw Beauty and the Beast here last weekend, great show, great venue. The staff was excellent. Seats were Mezzanine Row E, 117 and 119, yes they are side by side.
Kimberly Waldren
Nice place to visit. Beautiful building. Saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with live music. It was a nice experience. Only negatives are that the seat and knee room is very small, and the bathroom is all the way in the basement.
EE Lee
Awesome time at the Harry Potter orchestra for the fifth time. Always one of the years highlights with the family.
Kyle Larsen
I loved the theater but the seats are way too short my long legs. I luckily had an aisle seat so I was able to stay the whole show. I took my neice and it was her first theater experience and she was loving it. We saw Fiddler on the Roof and what a wonderful experience that was.
jason williams
I haven't been here in many years until recently. Just saw Neil Gaiman and everything was great. This is by far one of the best venues in the Columbus Ohio area. The audio visual experience is second to none. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and Neil Gaiman was amazing!
Zak Bittinger
Great venue for a concert. Great seats, great views, and good price for a big show. The only downsides are the bathrooms are far too small for the size of venue; and the lobby where concessions and T shirt sales are is also far too small. But they manage, so will definitely be back.
Kent Royer
Great space for a quaint concert! Beautiful setting
Carrie Pernell
Had a great time at Soul Summer Concert!! Got good seats and show was AMAZING!!!
Elise Garber
Gorgeous building. I loved looking all around at the decor. It is an older theater so the seating is fairly small with minimal leg room. Not unexpected, but a bit uncomfortable.
Altair Muligan
Everyone was awsome and the show I seen was amazing! All the staff was super nice!
Kerry Ann Wilkinson
Went to Sarah Jakes event. It was wonderful
Denise Cody
Amazing experience
.this Theatre is amazing architecture historical landmark credit Columbus

Melani Witzel
This is a beautiful historic place in downtown Columbus. Really a must see, it is amazingly intricately beautiful! We went to see the hip hop nutcracker which was a great show. Even though the place was sold out the restrooms were very accomadating and there was barely a wait and plenty of time to get there and back and grab a drink before the 2nd act. Oh and Yes, they serve alcohol :)
Jay Melrose
A beautiful place to enjoy a performance!
Sharkey Machine
We attended Dave Koz Christmas 2021 concerts with 2 friends and all 4 of us were on our feet dancing. So yes it is a great time we get to shares with ours life long friends. They love it and already planning to coming here next year. The Palace theater is gorgeous
Vicki Dravenstott
Such a beautiful old theater!! Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is I have long legs and there isn't much leg room in the seats.
Marie Trudeau
I'm afraid the Cream tribute concert was a little disappointing. It was offspring of the original band: Ginger Baker's son, Jack Bruce's son, and Eric Clapton's nephew. They did the old songs, but not that many because they broke into jam sessions for long periods of time. They are gifted musicians, but I went to hear the old songs, not watch them frolic with their guitars. But it was a fun night out.
Andrew Pickett
Always enjoyable to see shows here. The only complaint I have over some other venues is that it gets very congested very quickly. Very clean with courteous staff and just a great venue for shows.
Deborah Liebel
Theatre is fine. Getting in is a huge hassle. Haven't they heard? The mask and vaccine mandate is over! There was an overwhelmingly older crowd. There are so many grandma terrorists out there!! Checked my time evening bag that won't even hold my wallet for weapons!! REALLY????
levinia Jenkins
Was Beautiful place just have to go down a lot of stares to get to the bath room
Jo-El Hemphill
I saw Circqe de Sol here, pre-covid, the show was excellent, a memory I will always cherish 😍 …
Beth Zboran
This is a great venue to see a show. We typically sit in the upper or lower balcony. The lower balcony seats have decent leg room. There's free parking just across the street and a few good restaurants within walking distance.
Nora Ambers
Great concert theater. Excellent location for parking, hotel and walking.
Jessica Smith
I always have an awesome time when I come to the Palace! The seating is comfortable and the theatre is very well kept and clean.
Tashea Holmes
If you are taller than 5ft. Be certain to get a front row seat. No matter the floor seating or if on the balcony. Trust me. Your knees will thank you. It's been two weeks and I'm still trying to get the feedback in my lower extremities. Otherwise an enjoyable evening. 😉 …
Christopher Shreiner
Amazing show! Joe Bonamassa is worth every penny. The staff was great and friendly. Parking wasn't bad with a garage around the corner.
Lauren Martin
The lines for the bar are insane. I've seen concerts and comedy shows here... and the wait in line is laughable. Last night I waited 35 minutes to get wine before Chelsea Handler. They also barely checked vax records and IDs. But I had to show 8+ people my ticket location in order to get to seat. Seems like they need an efficiency expert to help the staff + more bartenders / cashiers.
Handler was amazing - this review is about the venue.
Anthony Kaltenbach
Great experience. Beautiful theater.
Mike Tyler
It's a beautiful place, but requiring a vaccine card to get in is a slippery slope. I realize who runs that city and it's in Franklin County which explains alot. Sitting with a mask on at a comedy show is about the dumbest thing yet. Might as well have the acts wear one too. Won't patronize that venue or any other that is doing things like this.
Jeremy Sigler
Friendly staff, clean environment. As in all old theaters the chairs are a little small and uncomfortable, if you have a bigger person in your party you may want to get them an aisle seat. Don't get me wrong the seats are typical old theater seats, I just make that recommendation in case you don't know what I'm taking about.
Annie&Stephanie Foley
Beautiful old theatre! Great atmosphere!
Dennis Wilson
Awesome history, in an active theater. Traffic and parking has a lot to be desired of.
David Martaus
Attended Michael Cavanaugh w/Columbus Symphony concert. Beautiful historic venue. Had seats near the front of the upper level. Sight lines were fine and acoustics good. Agree with others that the seats are also historic and, as such, could be a bit tight if you are a person of size. Parking in the Leveque Garage works well, although you'll have to walk outside to the Broad St theater entrance. Nearby dining options seem to be a bit limited on Saturday night as many of the restaurants appear to be geared more to the business/government weekday clientele than evening patrons. At this time, the theater is still enforcing Covid vax/test/masking rules. They were well-organized for this and the process did not materially slow ingress at the entrance. All-in-all a very positive experience and would attend another event here if the opportunity arises.
Bryanna Bucy
Theresa Caputo's show, The Experience, was one I'll never forget. Love the palace theater but hate the parking garage and long lines after a show. Still worth it though as I've come back several times to see shows there. Staff and service reps always very friendly too. Clean facility and nice restrooms.
Jessica Barnes
A stunning and well maintained historic place ! They always have a variety of shows, from comedy to Broadway. Everytime the staff is always very nice and helpful and friendly. They consistently have their events well organized. I highly suggest going for any event !
Matthew Fox
Gorgeous space with incredible decor and great acoustics. It was odd that they had to show every individual person to their seat, but it was great.
Wes Johnson
Great staff they made us feel welcome, very helpful and friendly. The Palace looked wonderful and the performance of the Masked Singer was Fantastic
Christine Malott
Beautiful building, orchestra and dancers. Had a wonderful evening.
Family Steinmetz
Love this theater, we have seen several performances.
The check in process is always smooth, the restrooms are large and kept very clean for all the people that come and go.
The ushers are amazing and take the time to assist everyone. Seats could be a little bigger, to make it more comfortable, I know it is a theater and not my nice big couch but you pay a lot to attend and a little more comfort would be great.
Ian Cunningham
Excellent atmosphere took of two stars cause the bathroom is down two flights of stairs!!!
Matt Dorr
Great atmosphere inside and the design of the building is beautiful. The theater was renovated recently. It was done well and the seats were comfortable. The musical we watched was excellent. Easy to park and only $10 for the event. Starbucks and several dining options are close. Great for adults and families. Doors open 60 minutes to the show with being allowed to your seats at 30 minutes till. Drinks and snacks are available.
Melodie Hayes
Not a lot of leg room, but I like the size of the theatre overall.
Mahon Cabbie
Awesome theater! Beautiful inside, go early and enjoy the gorgeous decor. Seating was spacious and comfortable. Not a bad seat in the house. The staff were very friendly and made seeing William Shatner even more enjoyable. If you get a chance to go, then don't miss out. Parking is available very close in a nice parking garage. One of the best places downtown!
Judy Sharpe-Kosmatka
Always a joy to be in this beautiful, historic theater. The sound caries well and the seats are comfortable, even if they are close together. It's nice that drinks purchased in the lobby are allowed to be taken into the theater while you're watching the show.
Allison B
Very lovely venue. My major complaint is that the seats are not built for modern humans. I am above average height for a woman and my knees were touching the seats in front of me which made for a very long show. Every time I've been here I've been seated in the "nosebleeds" and even though it's towards the top of the venue the view is still amazing. There truly isnt a bad seat in the house and I highly recommend a visit, just watch out for your knees!
A Malik
The Palace is a beautiful place and I enjoy all the show I see there. It's clean, clear smells good. And the staff are great.
C L Wilmot
Went and saw David Spade at this venue. Other performances have been taken in here as well. Great staff and I'm still in awe of how the building is maintained.
Meghan Taylor
Beautiful theater with helpful and courteous employees!
Karolyn Burley-Parks
The Show Was Excellent it did me some food too get out.
Michelle J
Renovation is wonderful. I sat in row k, in orchestra 4. i didn't realize that they were folding chairs- most comfortable folding chairs ever & massive leg room.
Jennifer Pletcher
Beautiful place! I recommend getting seats on the main floor because there is little to no knee room in the balcony seats.
Pamela Iversen
Saw David Spade. Show was great, parking abysmal. And when are restaurants downtown going to get a clue that theater goers need a place to dine after ?
Renee Weiss
Beautiful place for concert. There were a lot of people attending but they did a great job of getting everyone seated in an orderly fashion. Leaving the theater was equally organized. Highly recommend. My only question was how early must one get there before a concert to get your seat and a half an hour worked for us easily
Greg Brooks
Great place for seeing a show which does not require an orchestral accompaniment. Really, any seat in the first half of either the mezzanine or balcony is good, unless one needs to see facial expressions on performers' faces. Staff is always friendly and helpful, as well!
Karlie Carroll
I am 5’11” and the seats at least in the balcony were so close together it was painful. I have a bruise from having to configure my long legs around for 2 hours.
Jason Keck
They don't sell popcorn. The seats are close together and you don't get much leg room so when someone walks in front of you, you just have to stand up. But for a theater built in 1920s, the place is fantastic. There is not a bad seat in the house. If you get a chance to see an event there, do it. You won't be disappointed (unless the performers suck, but that's not the theater's fault :D )
William Bailey
We saw the Ohio State University Marching Band here and it was phenomenal. The sound of the theatre was excellent as well.
Aaron Baker
Hard to beat the elegance of this beautiful theater. The ushers and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Only caveat: if you or someone you're seeing a show with is older or has health or mobility issues, it's a must to try to get tickets early when floor seating is available, as the stairs to the mezzanines and the balcony can be very daunting. Otherwise a perfect venue to see the wide variety of acts that the theater attracts.
John Scott
A grand old theater. Some thought should be given to exit patterns. But worthy of return visit! I've been coming here since the mid 1970s.
Ronin Nic
My first time at the Palace Theater. I loved it! The inside of the building is beautiful. They are able to handle large crowds quickly. I didn't get to try the concession stand but I did see multiple adults enjoying beer. Would have really helped me get through Pepa Pig Live. The bathrooms are somewhat small for the size, of crowd, the play house can accommodate. However there was no line so maybe there are more than one restroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't think of anything negative about this place or my experience there.
Candace Harmon
The theater is beautiful, acoustics are great. Every show I've seen here has been wonderful and the various places I've sat have all had good views of the stage. My complaint is the seats in the balcony. If you're over 5'7" you will be uncomfortable. If you are over 6' you will need to do some serious contortions to avoid kneeing the person's head in front of you. The main floor has perfect leg room. If you're tall and trying to save money, go for the back row of the balcony (U I think). It has extra space.
Tina Kennedy
Very impressed. Staff was very nice. Concert was amazing. Joe bonamassa was awesome my first time seeing him and I hope it's not my last.
Bruce McPherson
Only issue was that they opened the entrance an hour before the show but you couldn't go to your seats causing a large crowd in the lobby. Made no sense for distancing after the covid screening.
Melody Phoenix
Great atmosphere, wonderful ambiance. The sound quality is great. Sat in the Mezzanine, had a great view of the stage.
Melissa C (Melissa)
The theatre is easy to spot from normal traffic and parking garages are available nearby. The staff is very friendly but the check-in process can be slow. Restrooms are adequate but the line is usually long before a show or during breaks. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase and the prices are comparable to others venues. The seats are comfortable and the sound and acoustics are good.
deohgee magnet
Tight seats but didn't sit down. 8$BEER 4$h2o not bad these days. Good sound and cool ushers.
dbcanup
Great place for concert!!
Jabrony
Beautiful theater, nice size, great staff, parking nearby; can't wait to go there again!
Beth Hallauer
Beautiful venue for the production of Mamma Mia that we saw. Courteous and very helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. One caution about seating - the seats on the far edges of the main floor are located such that it is difficult to see the entire stage. Even a couple of seats in from the edges are much better.
Wash “Ur” Clothes
We absolutely loved the experience! Doing the laundry of a famous, down to earth, highly intelligent individual was the best feeling ever! The palace theatre was very clean, wonderful staff as usual, and great vibe!!! Thanks so much... Highly recommended if you'd want a large enough crowd and yet not to large for the anxiety too kick in. I love this place!
Kyle
Staff was great about keeping the lines moving while entering, but immediately after the show there was a lot of bottle necking, and being stuck in relatively narrow hallways (narrow relative to the amount of people moving through) with no staff intervention. The facility itself is very nice and clean, but the theatre room was really cold during the show, to the extent that most patrons kept their winter gear on. Good experience overall, but the stand-still foot traffic afterwards felt like a fire hazard, and the auditorium/theatre temperature could have been warmer.
Linette Porter-Metler
Gorgeous! 15 years since attended event here and the seats are comfortable, ushers are pleasant and helpful. Great atmosphere for a celebration of life through art, music or theater. And use the valet parking service for events. Worth every penny to us out of towners who aren't comfortable figuring out parking. Kudos to great service. Will be back!!
Cassie Madison
Palace Theatre is a beautiful venue. There is not a bad seat in the house and staff is helpful and courteous.
Brett McPherson
Saw the Piano Guys here, the atmosphere was amazing. The seats were pretty comfortable for an older theater and the acoustics were great! They had pretty standard concession items that and a decent bar. Overall a great place to go out on a date night.
Jonathan Z
Like most theaters it's too many people crowded into too small of a space. Convenient parking next door isn't terrible yo get out of after the show. The facilities do show a fair bit of wear and could certainly use an update. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Franky
Nice place and it was a good show I watched. Just make sure you arrive super early if you want a drink.. They only had two small carts that had a line 30 people deep. I would have liked something but I was not going to miss part of the show for it.
Richard DeLaSerda
What a great venue... went to see Mannheim Steamroller last night! The Palace Theater is a throw back of the grandeur of times gone by... BEAUTIFUL!
Dan Johnson
We came to the palace theatre for a Celtic Women performance and it was a perfect venue for it! If you have never experienced Celtic Women you might not understand, but if you have you understand what I mean 100%. It was an intimate affair full of class and beauty. We knew to dress appropriately and treated ourselves to a couple glasses of champagne. We sat in the balcony but in the center and in the front of the aisle so we honestly had the best seats in the house. I'm not sure there are actually any "bad" seats at the Palace and if you are going by acoustics alone there is definitely NOT a bad seat! We were looking at the various venues during the intermission and it was hosting such acts like Peppa Pig and Tim Allen's standup comedy show. I love it! Anything the Palace can do to keep up maintenance and the doors up I'm am in favor of! It hearkens back to a more elegant age where you took the train and dressed up when you went out because you cared about what other people thought of you and you took pride in doing so but I digress... Parking is a snap as it's right around the corner and I think we paid $7 which isn't too bad for downtown. If you're headed to this restored historical landmark you ate truly in for a treat full of beauty and class. Take the time to go a bit early and just take in the art and architecture and feed your soul. 🙂
Matt Caldwell
Saw Rent here. The show was great. The venue has interesting architecture, but they need to work on the acoustics and audio system, it was really hard to hear and understand the voices, music sounds a little muddy. The LeVeque garage's first 4 floors are all reserved spots, and there's only one machine to pay for parking, waited forever to get out after the show. Park somewhere else. I would leave 3 stars, except the ticket, restroom, and concession lines moved really fast, I was quite impressed.
T Dwayne W
Visited the theater for the performance of Cinderella and this is such a beautiful venue. The theater is elegant with beautiful art and chandeliers throughout. The way the seats are arranged there is not a bad seat in the house and acoustics are top notch. Sat in the balcony and we could clearly hear everything.
David Fontaine
Older people should not go to this venue. We just saw Vince Gill in concert. The intimate venue made for a wonderful concert. The architecture and history make going to the Palace worthwhile. However this venue is not set up for older people. The isles are far too narrow for people with walkers and canes and also the bathrooms are in the basement. You have to go down flights of stairs to get to the bathrooms. I saw many older people struggling to get to the bathroom and then back up stairs again. Also for some reason the temperature was not regulated it was very very warm.
L. Robert Thaxton
I've seen several shows at the Palace, and I've enjoyed them all. The theatre began it's life as a movie house and developed into the performing arts space it is today. The theatre was recently renovated and restored. It is beautiful.
Brendan Roman
Great venue. Comfortable seats, great acoustics, easy to get to your seat, and even short lines for the bathrooms. However if you are sitting on the far left or right, the speakers may be in your way, also make sure to pay your parking before the show if you use the garage. Only two elevators in the same place as one of the paystations makes for a long wait.
pamela hudson
Nice concert. Palace just needs to improve their acoustic so that music doesn't over power the voices of people singing
Karen Singleton
First visit tonight to see magical cirque Christmas. Beautiful old theater. Staff were very friendly, seating comfortable. Had a wonderful time! Cant wait to go back! Parking was close & easy access as well.
Just Charlotta
Its "BEAUTIFUL" inside, The Staff was Friendly, The Seats are really comfortable & The Bathrooms were really "CLEAN!" 2 👍👍 thumbs UP!! …
Jim Snyder
Beautiful venue inside. However poorly managed so far timing between shows. Patrons showing up within proper time to get refreshments and be seated are kept outside until previous attendees have exited. And during sub-freezing temperatures in January! Then when one wishes to get refreshments (right next to entrance doors), they are forced to navigate through crowds with their beverages. My guess if you want enjoy your experience go in warm weather only and skip this venue during the winter.
Bob Donovan
Beautiful building with very good acoustics.
Kristen
The Palace Theater is beautiful and a wonderful piece of history. The sound quality of our commedian was perfect. The entry point into the theater becomes overcrowded from people trying to buy tickets at the booth. Meanwhile those who already have tickets have to shove their way through that crowd. Also of note the seats are slightly tight and uncomfortable. I'm an average height/weight size but if you're not or with someone who is over the average they will be crowding into your space. Overall The Palace Theater makes for a special night out despite the inconveniences.
Chris Simmons
View from box seats is partially to significantly obstructed by hanging speakers on the either side of the stage. Otherwise, this is a fantastic venue!
Randall Bates
This was my first time visiting the Palace, and I'll tell you it's amazing! Elegant fixtures, perfect lighting, and the historical feel make for a great experience. A modern touch but the nostalgic items take preference and walks you back to the past as you enter, seat, and enjoy your show. The staff was wonderful. We'll be returning for sure!
Craig Bergman (Craig B.)
Always love attending events here.
Sharon Thompson
Very good seating. Went for concert with Robin Thicke and Fantasia. The concert was fantastic. I was very pleased with the content of the concert. My first time seeing them in concert. I would recommend this concert, if they are coming to your city. You won't be disappointed.
Dana Keaton
Beautiful place
Carley Schultz
Palace theatre is a great venue for concerts. Beautifully redone, the crystal chandeliers just sparkle, the new wall paper, curtains and seats were lovely. We went to hear the Celtic women and they had such a wonderful program. The time went way to fast.
Angela Eason
Historical building with updated comfort of air conditioning. Beautiful space, lots of room, majority of staff was wonderful. Cons include: if you're a plus size person the seats are snug, there's no elevator and maybe it's just me but with the carpet being on everything makes it hard to identify if you are on level ground or steps.
Matthew Hazard
The Palace recently underwent an extensive renovation and is now much easier on the eye and the body with new seating and more leg room.
Eric S. Brown
Wonderful and beautiful old theatre However, there are far too many steps and stairwells, many of which vary in height, depth, and lack of rails, presenting dangers to many.
Cindy Conley
My best girls and I saw Bethel Worship at The Palace tonight. The building is beautiful...regal even. The view of the stage was fabulous despite our seats being quite far back. All staff we interacted with were very accommodating.
Jim Campbell
Nice venue, bit of a traffic jam getting into the venue with the merch table immediately inside the door.
Bella
Had an instance with a rude usher, but other than that, very pricey but good
Crystal Smyers
The show was amazing. The seats are the same ones from 1920. If you're 5'2 and about 120lbs the seats are perfect. Anything bigger and it's a very painful night. Low to the ground, no leg room, no hip room. I paid top dollar to sit in the front row. I was actually grateful to be put in the "pit" on a basic hotel conference chair. I don't care that it cost me $300.
Marquetta Rattler
Loved it here... great seats, nice staff... we were definitely LIVING OUR BEST LIVES
....
Charles Miller
What's not to love? Wonderful venue with dozens of volunteers to guide you to your seat.
Katy Borhauer
Beautiful theater, but in the higher sections the seating is cramped and it can be really tough to see, more than in other theaters.
Kimberly Evans
This beautiful historic building offers great entertainment. We went to see Celtic Woman with some friends. We were quickly helped to our seats by friendly staff. The bathroom line went quickly thankfully. I have been in lines in other theaters that take forever.
Richard Noecker
This is a great place to see medium size shows. I've seen comedy, movies, magic, and circus shows here. There really isn't a bad seat in the place, although the seats are pretty tightly packed and the aisle between rows is nonexistent, which I guess isn't that unusual for this type of place.
Ann Weidenbenner
I did not have a good experience the last time I was at the Palace Theater. They didn't let people enter the theatre until ~15 min before the show was scheduled to start, so people were lined up down the block standing in the rain.
Once the doors opened, it was a mad rush to be seated. No fun. The theater was extremely warm, there was an unscheduled 15 min break (I think because the lead performer was super hot, in a suit and under lots of lights).
The lines to the restrooms and for water are so long, there isn't enough time during intermission.
The worst part was getting out of the garage at the end of the show. We had one payment box with two long lines of people waiting to pay to get out of the garage. There needs to be more of those machines or if there are more, place signs on the street level saying where they are located. It was a long night and got home late. I lived the show (Jersey Boys) but wish I could have been more comfortable.
Nathan Shaw
Beautiful venue, but the seats have a severe lack of legroom. Economy seats on an airplane are more comfy.
J Wong
The sound system was impressive, no matter where the seat is. As far as i saw it, virtually all seats could have full view to stage. Even though it is pretty well kept, some areas do show its age, revealing its unique legacy as the Columbus city icon. Not much alternatives for parking, the garage next to it likely the best choice, it's still reasonably priced for evening threater events. Tried buying tickets on site (to avoid any fees) was my worst experience, its box office opening hours were real short, easiest is to pay a bit extra to buy online -- amazingly, while its ticket office was closed and had a sign referring to the CAPA ticket office two blocks away, i checked and found tickets there were more expensive than online plus convenient fee.
Nick W
Great place to watch any concert/show!!!
Chad E.
Great little theatre, we saw a Cirque show there. While not as big of a production as the one we saw at Quicken Loans it was still a great show. Not a bad seat on the whole place as far as I am concerned.
Stephen Luckeydoo
Great atmosphere and acoustics. I attended a movie followed by a q &a with one of the actors. I had seats a bit further back, but had no problem seeing or hearing a thing. Seats are a bit cramped, parking can be a bit of a pain. But overall? Fantastic.
Drew W
The seats are pretty compact so if you are an average American people are likely to bump into you when they shift in their seats. The ticket people are nice and fast. The ushers are really helpful. Very nice old theater.
Paula Gorsuch
Saw Hasan Minaj. Great show. Makki, the opener , was also very good. To top it off they did a encore, together, after regular show. Too bad if you left early
Mark Lowe
The performance of rent was awesome. The quality of voices was phenomenal. It was at the Palace Theater. I love being a Broadway series subscriber. We have great seats and get to keep those seats as long as we wish.
Katlyn Goodwin
Beautiful theater, however, 3 stars because the admission process was AWFUL. We waited outside in 20 degree weather because the gap between shows wasn’t long enough. Once the doors did open, hundreds of people rushed through the doors and they only had 3-4 people scanning tickets. The show was amazing but the entrance process was TERRIBLE! Please do better, Palace!
Teffin Cooper
Beautiful theatre! I was fortunate enough to attend the theatre to see the Tyler Perry play: Madea's Farewell Tour, which was an awesome and entertaining play. I would recommend this venue for future performances. The staff was very polite and helpful as well.
Bob Berkeley
Had a good time, music was great!! My only complaint would be the constant up and down from rude people getting another drink. I wish they would control it like hockey games and wait for a song to end before letting people go back to their seats. Other than that, it's a beautiful place!
Michelle Dahitule
What a beautiful theatre! I was entertained for a half hour before the show just admiring the space.
I sat in balcony seating and felt like I could see the stage clearly. However, I was CRAMPED. My thighs touched the thighs of the people to the left and right of me (stranger danger) and my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me. Paying extra for better seats would be a good idea if you’re going for a long show.
Greg Thirtyacre III
Remodeled in 2018 the seats have more leg room and width! I had stopped attending shows at the palace years ago due to the size of the seating areas, but now at 6'4 and 300 lbs I fit comfortably. Staff was great and I think the usher to guest ratio is 1:1...
Great acoustics, even when the show went unplugged acapella you could still hear perfectly in the back. The wonderfull thing about the palace is its intimacy, with its smaller size you can se great from every seat.
Nathan Shireman
The staff is always helpful, the shows are great. The ambiance is fantastic. But if you are looking for comfortable seating, you won’t get it here. The legroom is a joke and the seats are very narrow.
Granger Evermore
Wow is this place beautiful! I saw Swan Lake performed by the Russian ballet and it was magical! The staff are very friendly and accepting of everyone! Dressed nice or just going casual this is a wonderful place to take a date or your kids.
Thomas Cook
Beautiful place, but a bit understaffed and disorganized for the 9:30 show last night. Multiple lines waiting to get in and no one directing outside.
Jeff White
The program was excellent and very entertaining!
Devon Howe
We went to for Sesame Street live. We were sitting on the ground floor and everything was easy to see and hear. The theatre was gorgeous and the concessions were priced as you'd expect for a show. We definitely won't hesitate to go back!
Pamela Blatter
Gorgeous! but no elevator.
Shawn Kelly
I have attended numerous productions and plays at the Palace and most recently the Price is Right Live which show's the versatility of the venue. It is large enough for bigger events but not too big to provide poor viewing angles. There really is not a bad seat in the place. The isles and rows are very tight so getting in and out if need be can be cumbersome but over all a very nice venue with a rustic look and old word theater feel.
Doug Tussing
Just got home from another amazing show at the palace. The only reason I couldn't give five stars is with all the security inside the building they should consider more outside. My wife and I were met between the doors by a young lady that seed petrified asking if we were going to the garage but we parked in a lot on the other side. She explained that a pan handler followed her in the garage before the show and he was back out front on the way out. I told her I would walk her to the garage. When we exited the Palace the man screamed at us Hey hey and other language I won't repeat. We walked her in the opposite direction down the alley by the performers buses and he followed. We got to the garage and made sure she was around other people. But there needs to move security to make people comfortable.
Kevin “Wing King” Schmidt
The staff works perfectly in sync to get you through the process of finding your seat. Simply amazing how they just seamlessly guide you through the process.
The stage has great viewing from the balcony, mezz, and floor: I've now had tickets for each.
Simply a great time.
Evan Schreiber
It's a nice theater, and I've seen several shows here (most recently the Dancing with the Stars tour). I wish that they could make the curtain raise higher because if you're sitting in the higher seats of the balcony, the curtain always obstructs the view of some of the set. For example, during this past show they had set up a big TV screen at the back of the stage, but half of it was cut off.
Jen Root
They did a beautiful renovation of this theater, but unfortunately left the seats unstaggered. If anyone an inch taller than you sits in the seat in front of you, plan on spending the entire show craning your neck to try and catch a view of the stage- just like all of the people in front of you are also doing.
Chin G
Lovely place and super clean ! Love this place. Friendly staff!
Angela Ford Oravetz
Saw Manheim Steamrollers here. Staff was couteous and informative, seating was very comfortable, and the theater was in close proximity to many restaurants of varying ethnicities and styles of food. The show was great, and the cost for main floor seating was reasonable. Loved the experience!
Javawakii
I loved this theatre because it is massive, and the times I have been here, there have been really good shows. It is located in down town Columbus. The garage a little walk away is usually crowded after a show. The show room is massive, with at least 2000 seats. There are balcony seats, floor seats, and the special VIP seats on the sides. Those are the seats with a lot of room, 2 to 4 chairs, and they block as little bit of the view form the show. When I sat there, I saw 1 and 1/2 of the screen. For the shows I saw though, the screen was not important.
Sharelle Chatman
This place was nice and clean. We quickly got in a seated. The drink line was long but it's something we should have expected. The show was good but the seats were super small.
Tom Hamilton
Oh she's a grand old Dame!
Age and beauty best describes this venue. Grand staircases, balconies, architecture, molding, and chandeliers. Sure there is some visible repair work that is not on the same scale as the original builder. It's still worth taking a moment before your show to just turn your head, and take in the surroundings.
Is a music artist coming here that you are on the fence about shucking out the coin to see again? You just saw them on the last tour at the Newport or at the Arena. This is a seal the deal place for excellent acoustics.
My music visits have been the most memorable.
The stage performance spoken line theater performances have been a bit more off. Not tin can like an outdoor shell. Just somehow echo off in places. I know sometimes scenery can affect the sound, but that traveling show should be aware of how to overcome that.
The seat padding is a bit tired, but still More cushion than some. The air circulation is questionable. The A/C should have been cooling this place better. I was all the way towards the Orchestra rear and didn't feel any air movement so close to the rear walkway. Leg room? More seats, is more tickets, is more revenue. I'm over 6 foot tall and found that my legs were violating the space of the people next to me. Get up and stretch those long legs at any intermission.
I always had a problem with parking. This last time (Riverdance Yelp Event 2017), I used the Huntington Parking Garage directly across the street. It was $10 Event parking. A fair price to park that close in a garage.
Enjoy your show.

The Palace Theatre lives up to its name. It is definitely a grand old majestic palace. I have been here I don't know how many times over the last thirty years and this grand lady still takes my breath away everytime I walk through her doors. The staff has always been friendly, courteous and professional. Every production has transported me to another time and place if only for a few hours. If you haven't been to the Palace I strongly encourage you to go. If you have been I encourage you to return.
Jennifer Eller
Palace theater is beautiful and well maintained of its architectural stature. Lovely staff.
cldalnc
Very classy, clean seat and plenty of ushers to help. Acoustics were good and view had no problem front row from the mezzanine. Would see another show here.
Adam Schisler
Easy access; nice theatre. The bar looks nice but I was not willing to wait for the incredibly slow line to move (would have missed probably 15min of the show if I had not left the line even though I arrived 20 minutes prior to show start).
Kailey Carpino
The view from the balcony was very poor. The theater has a beautiful structure. However, it was not good for acoustics. The stage is also extremely small compared to the many other theaters I have been to.
Meka Brant
Saw the Dance Theater of Harlem perform there. It was beautiful. The theater was a lovely venue and we had great seats off to the side. There was a little bar serving wine and snacks, etc.
Derek Kane
Beautiful old theater. Decent acoustics and sightlines. Entry and exit pathways are a bit tight
, so plan to arrive early 30+ min to make it easier.
Emily mg
The palace theater is one of the older well maintained and well used theaters in the downtown Columbus area. I've attended a few shows here over the years. The theater is well laid out with good seats at every level..while it isn't as large as its neighbor the Ohio Theater, I still enjoy coming. Typically here you'll find comedians, speakers, and smaller musical groups on stage.
As far as parking goes: there are garages nearby and plenty of street parking. All meters are free on Sunday's, federal holidays and after 10pm. If parking on street double check signage to make sure you do not get a ticket.
Lynn Kellar
The seats were very comfortable. Lots of leg room. Nice and wide. Nice bars and bathrooms. Excellent ushers and good parking. Everything was great! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
C. Miller
Newly refurbished seats are nice but some rows have not been aligned to allow unobstructed views. Normally your seat is aligned with the space of the two seats in front of you so you are looking in the gap of the two front seats. Our row, Section mflr, AA, has seats aligned directly behind the seat in front of you making you lean to the side to see thru gap. It's annoying but not the end of the world. Hopefully they can correct the situation. They have added more knee space and made the seat cushions a lot thicker. All in all the Palace is a nice venue.
Aaron Lucero
This place was really fun. It hosts many different shows/plays. I gwt my tickers on line from ticket master witch i think are a bit cheeper from other sites. There is food and drinks available. Some of the seats dont have much leg room but enough to enjoy the show. Im 5'7" and i can stand it but i know the seats in far back up top in the middle of plenty of room for taller guys or ladies.
Patti Miller
The Palace is very beautiful, and the staff is always helpful. Seats are fairly comfortable, though the ones on the balcony are a bit of a squeeze for tall or large people. They have enough restrooms!
Maurice Hairston
Saw Tom Segura there great set and beautiful theater!
Billy Robinson
Beautiful theater and very organized place to visit ..very well kept historic theater!
Terry Kennedy Mancini
Wonderful performance of Columbus Symphony and Harry Potter movie. The theater is a real gem!
Jennifer Williams
Very cramped seating. I am a female and 5'9" and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. However, I don't think there is a bad seat in the theatre for viewing the show.
Travis Van Ness
First time here and I loved it!
Wildcards Rex
The Palace Theater is a nice venue for many different types of shows. We saw William Shatner Live and The Wrath of Khan. The move was presented well, with a pretty decent sound system. My major gripe is the concessions were way over priced.
NOT CCW friendly
joseline martinez
Stunning, loved it, wear comfortable shoes
Troy Carlson
This is a gorgeous theater. I love seeing shows here. They only issue I have about this theater is that the seats are rather narrow and packed close together. It can get somewhat uncomfortable when watching long shows.
Paul Mohler
I liked this place but at least one usher in particular needs to get a job somewhere else. She gave us a program and when we asked for another she was reluctant to give it to us. CMON , we paid 200 dollars to sit in the front row. You can give us 2 paper programs!!!!
Jeremy Kurtz
Saw Rent. It was unbelievable. The atmosphere and seating are top notch! There is no bad seat in the venue. Parking was easy and downtown Columbus is immaculate and the people were friendly!
Ashley Smith
Great atmosphere! If you are coming expecting modern amenities, you will be disappointed - this is a theater of a bygone era and stunning to look at - come and see but don't be fussy that there's no place to plug in your cell phone.
Jeanette M
Beautiful venue with that lush old theater vibe. Centrally located and within walking distance to lots of great bars, restaurants and street parking if you can get it. Taller or heavier people might find the smaller seating troublesome.
Larry Perkins
Absolutely beautiful place full of history! Recently renovated so you have lots of leg room that makes it easier to bring your little ones plus diaper bag etc. The staff has always been nice and helpful when we've gone here. Look forward coming back
Gavin Kinghorn
I've seen two shows here and I enjoyed both shows I love the theater, it keeps and maintains a very historical / classic look that makes you feel really special when you're in there.
M Johnson
Attended the Peppa Pig show at the palace. The palace itself is a gorgeous theater, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly but the distance between the seats is hard if you are a taller individual. My knees and shins were killing me after the show, but my kid enjoyed it so it was worth the discomfort.
Ben Fetchen
My wife and I traveled to Columbus to see Rhett and Link live. Our tickets were balcony seats. When we got there we found the seats to be cramped(the width was good, but not the leg room) my knees were wedged into the seat in front of me. I asked the usher if I could move to an open isle seat if there was one availible once the show started and she gave me the blind-eye go-ahead. It was a sold out show with no seat within sight.
After the opening act the house manager(a very nice gentleman) asked us to follow him for a better seating arrangement. We did.
Low and behold they put us in a pit-level, stage-left box with a few other people of size(both big and tall) as well as physically disabled audience members.
I have to say that I was going to be plenty happy wedged into that seat, but I need to give serious props to the Palace for accomodating their guests in such a way.
David S
I saw The Tedeschi Trucks Band at this theater. The sound was supreme. The sight lines were perfect. The theater had been remodeled making for an elegant experience for a rock-n-roll concert.
Beth Barthelmas
Saw a concert there. So much more enjoyable than the big arenas! Beautiful and historic.
Matthew Hysell
Historic and beautiful. Balcony is very tight, but the views, even in the cheap seats, are really good. One of the best places in Columbus to see live theater.
Cynthia Kazalia
The Palace Theatre is one of the one of two grand, historic theatres in Central Ohio. Built in the 1920's, it boasts stunning architectural finishes and has showcased some of the biggest names and finest performances. The beautiful setting was the perfect backdrop for a theatrical can presentation of Roger's and Hammerstein's "Cinderella.".
Natasha Hupp
Beautiful setting for any performance that you might attend. I have never had a seat that I was unhappy with and I am short so I'm usually worried about that when buying tickets.
Doris Wheeler (Lulu)
My husband and I came to the Palace to see The Illusionists back in April for my birthday. The show was prettt good. Only 3 stars because the seats were very uncomfortable and the concession stand was outrageously overpriced.
Casey McCarty
This restored historic site is a gorgeous venue. Seating is more spacious than some of the other performance venues, and the amphitheater-style rising means more seats are good seats.
Aisha Yeni
I went there for flamenco festival. It was amazing. I bought the tickets from the back if the balcony and the view was pretty good. The obly thing is u hace to pay a ticket processing fee on ticketmaster which is 1/4 of the price which I believe it was high for just sending an electronic ticket.
Tiniqua Freeman
It was nice, just very difficult to exit once the show was over.
Bryan M. Griffith
A gorgeous theater with comfortable seats and great acoustics. A great place to see a Broadway show or concert.
Scott Gregg
This theatre is very unique and beautiful. The wife and I watched My Favorite Murder perform their podcast here. It was s wonderful time!
Ethan Mathess
Such a great place to see a show. Close to bars and restaurants for a before or after show meal and/or cocktail. Drink prices inside aren't too crazy. Staff is always friendly and attentive.
Jennifer Russell
Beautifully restored theater in the heart of the city. Thoroughly enjoy my experience every time I get to visit. I'm able to walk here but parking options are adequate if you are driving.
bobbie Stonerock
Beautiful theatre, though they need to consider adding more women's restrooms. The Ohio theatre also had cup holders on seats which is nice when you're enjoying a play.
Duane Rueber
Great venue! Kids loved the show. The biggest drawback of this theater is parking options. Other than that, we love coming here.
Allen Roberts
Seen many shows here. Excellent venue. Interesting historical place. Intimate seating. There can be lots of steps, so make sure you are prepared for that. No elevators available.
Robin Bell
Beautiful building! Fantastic staff. There truly wasn't a bad seat in the building.
Christopher Meade
Staff were helpful but I thought it was handicapped accessible and it was not. Inside the front door there's a large set of steps. Eventually staff found a more suitable seat. The website I picked out seats from wasn't clear.
Kim Dailey
I saw a live podcast taping of my brother my brother and me. I enjoyed myself, but sometimes it was hard to hear them because the sound wasn't balanced or loud enough. Excited to see the renovations of this beloved theatre!
daniel cromwell
A very beautiful and elegant turn of the century theater I want to see several performances are most recently most recently The Temptations featuring The Four Tops I recommend Maybe floor seating like the loge because the seats are kind of tight spacing I recommend an aisle seat that will not prevent me from going back to see more performances it is a struggle to walk to your seat on the higher levels if your physically challenge and when walking or if you're a senior citizen it could be kind of difficult but enjoy
Chris Otten
The show we saw was awesome, but this venue needs a few updates. The bathrooms are very far and when there is an intermission there is a major traffic jam on the steps...
Brooks “bRollSlinger”
Perfect venue for any performance. We've been to two Jim Gaffigan shows there, and both times the staff was courteous, and made sure people got to their seats quickly and efficiently.
Jessy Hallam
Great theatre. Wish there was better parking nearby.
Tera Reynolds (EpicFoxxDragon)
Beautiful theater! From the chandeliers to how the theaters set up is breathtaking
Sharon Waites
The employees were very helpful and friendly. Large crowd but employees get everyone in and in their seats without problems. Beautiful bathrooms. Very beautiful Theater.
Mrace43
Love going to this beautiful theater but just wish they would bump up the thermostat a couple degrees inside. It gets uncomfortable having to wear a coat for an entire show.
Eric Winner
Amazing theatre, so glad we have a place like this in columbus which attracks so many great shows. Ive always enjoyed coming here. Saw Jim Gafigan last week, he was great, a true master of his work.
Laura Bauchmire
Loved Dave Koz and Melissa Manchester !!
Greg Engelhart
Great venue, great personnel, awesome place to see a great show
Nikki Jenkins
While the Palace is not as ornate (IMHO) as the Ohio Theater, I always appreciate seeing a good show here. It holds up through the years as one of my favorite places to see a show!
Ed Chang
Great acts! The renovation brought life back into this gem. Acoustics are amazing! Save time on the beer line by going upstairs.
Vicki Johnson
I called and called and TRIED to get someone to call me back and I even left a message. I took my Granddaughter to see Dancing with the Stars..But I NEEDED to talk to someone to see IF I could bring a pillow for my back because I had just had back surgery 4 weeks prior. But NOBODY ever returned my calls so I did NOT take a pillow and I was in alot of pain because of the chairs not having enough padding for my lower back. Even the guys voice said he would return the call... NOPE. But we did LOVE the show......
Chris Harmata
Fantastic! It was an amazing experience. The setup was new, but it looked old.
Brian Powers
We visited this beautiful theater to see Nick Offerman - the place was run very well, seats were comfortable (even for tall people - I'm 6ft 4in).
Josh Monnot
Great venue, easy in easy out. The only thing to remember is that this is an older venue so the seats are tight. Built for max capacity not comfort. :)
Kathy Conway
It's a beautiful theater and we love coming to shows here!
Tawanda Mainor
Visited this place to see the Hip Hop Nutcracker. It was amazing!! The atmosphere was very nice and pleasant.
Scott Peachey
Beautiful theater details on the ceiling and walls. I love just looking around! Wonderful shows and musicals. Not a bad seat in the house!
Dennis Moore
I always have good experiences here. From my wife's nurse graduation to enjoying tribute bands with the family, the palace theatre is a community staple.
Felesha Wilson
Very nice every seat in the house were good seats really...each row of seats could be a little more roomy. Overall nice theatre.
Brandon Lahmon
Jim Jefferies was great, but very poor setup for traffic control inside and 25 minute lines for drinks and snacks. Could have been set up much more efficiently.
shirley rogers
Great ushers at the always beautiful palace.
Marty L
Wonderful place to watch a show. I'm a fan of the loge section, great site lines and sound is good. A definite place to visit and enjoy a show
Scott Rubin
As with any theater, the experience is probably more about the performance you came to see than it is about the venue. That said, the Palace Theater is a very nice venue, though personally I slightly prefer the Ohio Theater.
John Lazur
great sound and great visibility of stage even from the back of the balcony. drink lines were very long, but the bartenders were very cool.
Donald Santos
Went to see the Jersey Boys and the show was great. We parked under the state house 5 dollars collected when you enter which made leaving quick.
Elijah Winterton
Very beautiful theater! Staff made it easy to find our seats, and the comedy show we saw was great as well.
christdragon
I saw The Goo goo dolls here years ago, but it was great. This is a gorgeous place that needs to be seen and experienced no matter who is performing. This is a place for making memories that last a lifetime.
Laurie Chivers
Beautiful old building!!
michael barry
Small seats, good views, great people working there, everything is clean but dated and the whole place is in need of more funding and rehab work. Still...a wonderful night.
Kail Gebhart
I had bought tickets from an online company that I had gotten ripped off. They were able to find 2 tickets that were better seats and a better price! My daughter went from crying to extremely happy!! Thank you Palace Theatre
Lauren Markley
Show was great but the seats are a little uncomfotable , no elbowroom. Staff helpful. Parking at $10 a little high for an evening show.
David Trowbridge
We went there to see the comedy show the Entertainer was very good and the opening act was good also I'm sure the big complaint everybody has is you have 0 leg room you're very very stuffed into all the chairs so if you're a tall person make sure you're on the end concession prices are very high there's no parking anywhere close that's free have to pay anywhere you want to park.
Daniel Noll
The staff is very professional and courteous. The venue is very clean, and well maintained. The seating is very cramped though, at least it is in the balcony seating.
