A nice place to see shows, speeches, music, or anything else that would play in an amphitheater like this. Plenty of leg space. Just beware that the seats are stone and get very cold in the winter.

One of the most interesting performance venues on The Ohio State University campus. Originally founded in 1926 by the Browning Dramatic Society, an all-women Shakespeare performance group with ties to the Browning Literary Society, the original amphitheater was only the stone step seating and a grass stage. After the Literary Society dissipated, the amphitheater fell into disuse for performance. Ohio Staters, Inc., a service society founded and incorporated to improve and serve the campus, helped finance renovating the amphitheater in 1985. The concrete stage, lighting, and addition of dressing areas were arranged by the group. The stage itself is located with a view of nearby Mirror Lake, and is used for outdoor music, stage productions, and other public and private events. Weddings are a popular rental use, though the wait list is quite long.
