Reviews of Koger Center for the Arts
Mr Cowart's Daughter
Came here all the way from Florida to see The Lion King. This place is very big. I love that they require everyone to wear their mask in the audience. There was artwork on display which was awesome. Everyone was nice who work there and very informative. We bought souvenirs of course. It is downtown and easy to get to. Had to pay for parking in parking garage. I'm spoiled, not use to that but it was not a problem. Oh yeah. The Lion King 🦁 was superb!!!

Our 1st time here and our first opera! The Koger Center and Madame Butterfly did not disappoint. The only con we saw was that the subtitles didn't always show up during the show, and sometimes, you could only read part of the words because all the words didn't fit on the screen. Other than that, the performance was wonderful and everything I had dreamed about since first learning about MB when I was a teenager. I am also providing photos of the seating area. When I went to look for tickets, I could not find very good photos that really showed me how close we would be from the stage. I am a very visual person, and looking at the seating chart and seeing photos from the audience towards the stage was not very helpful to me. So maybe these photos will help someone else when they are looking to buy tickets. For reference, my husband (tall and all in black) is standing at our seats, which were I-26 and I-27.

I took my girlfriend and her daughter to see Swan Lake. Beautiful setting in downtown Columbia and an extraordinary performance from the dancers and Orchestra!

A great venue for the arts, we always look forward to a show with the SC Philharmonic here. Christmas events are a real treat as well. Seating is generally good and the variety of attractions should mean there is something for everyone. Parking in the garage across the street is convenient. The staff are really pleasant and accommodating. This has come to be a bit of a "happy place" for our family.

Very good at programming incoming patrons, upstairs first, lower tier next. Venue ran smoothly, covid was observed with mask and personal responsibility.
I discovered this musician and this wonderful group of beautiful believers in sharing God's word. For we all have had suffered.. the house was packed and everyone had a great time. So blessed to have attended, post covid.
The Kroger center was great. Licated at assembly and greene Street at the University of South Carolina.

Nice place. It's a good venue for events. I would give it five stars but the fact that you can't take alcohol inside of the performance area sucks. If you going to sell alcoholic beverage you should be able to drink where ever you like. Went to see Boney James, and any drinks you purchased had to be consumed outside in the lobby.

Beautiful space with lots of capacity. I attended a classical concert and everyone was very spaced out. It's a beautiful, open lobby with bathrooms on every floor. I also found a room tucked away on the second level with a covid-related photography exhibit, which was fun.

Just saw comedian Leanne Morgan & she was hilarious! Seating is comfortable. A little crowded. Don't bring too many accessories because there's nowhere to put them. Auditorium is beautiful & easy to navigate.

Went with a couple of friends to see The Nutcracker. Had a wonderful time, the ushers were super nice, our seats were easy to find, and even though we were really high up it was easy to see the stage. Great performance and very high quality!

Great venue! Super easy to get in and out of even if it seems like alot of people are there the wait time is minimal. Very clean and nice staff. The parking garage across the street is only $10!
