Loved this venue! Smaller with less people. Getting in and out of parking was a breeze , even on a Friday night! We were pleased, beautiful inside and most comfortable seats I've ever had at any concert.

This is how my friend and I spent ladies night. The actors were great, singing voices were solid, the songs and dialog were entertaining... The actress that played Guinevere made me tear up in the end. So good.

We came to see storm large perform on March 18th. This is a beautiful facility, easy to get in and out of and with some good dining options nearby. It's a beautiful venue inside and outside. The acoustics were very good during the performance as well.

I really enjoy this venue as a patron, a parent and a performer. They're offering great outdoor performances now in the parking lot to help with social distancing. In the past I've really enjoyed shows on the mainstage or catching a North light production. The crew and facilities are great if you're behind the scenes, and management is good to work with if you need a facility rental. Dropoff for dance recitals is well organized and low stress. Lots of restaurants in the area as well for before or after a show. These photos are from their 2021 Stevie Wonder tribute concert, which was awesome.

The atmosphere was wonderful - very cozy and welcoming. My only complaint was in regards to the line. Several staff members told attendees we were in the correct line and that it was the only line. By the time we got inside, we discovered the front doors were wide open with no line at all. That's frustrating when you spent 30+ minutes outside waiting to get in.

The show we saw was beautiful. I don’t think there’s a bad seat and the sound quality is exquisite. Also being summertime the lobby area was illuminated with gorgeous sunlight beforehand: a great area for an event or reception. However, sad to say the experience was marred by nonstop distractions: cell phones, conversations, and feedback from the microphones (second show of a three-night run). Don’t let anyone tell you that kids are the ones who lack manners and play with their phones all the time; these were grown adults and senior citizens commenting out loud during live performances and playing with their phones nonstop throughout every section of the theater—tacky to the extreme. Even after an announcement at intermission asking people to not take photos and recordings and to show respect for fellow audience members, it continued. A firm cellphones-off policy with an announcement before the show would be better. There was also microphone feedback that kept popping up during pretty much every number. We splurged on the best seats and were disappointed by the distractions.

Attended "Flamenco Passion" and watched the dance company 'Raised in Chicago' for the first time. The North Shore Center was perfect- the facility was clean, security guided drivers where to park, and the ushers helped guests find their seats. Air conditioned and comfortable seating. Very worth my ticket price! * I didn't really like that some of the audience members sitting by me were whispering throughout the entire show. People sometimes don't realize that whispering carries out as "buzz-buzz-buzz" and disturbs others sitting nearby. I paid $$$ to see a show in peace. Then when you ask people to be quiet, they get highly offended. Unless you are having a 911 emergency, NOTHING is so important that you feel talking during a show is ok. Save your comments for intermission or after the show.

Recently saw La Cage aux Folles…it was excellent! I mainly went to see Ginger Minj, but the entire troupe did a fantastic job. The way the auditorium was set up made every seat a good seat.

I wanted to like this venue. It is intimate. Even though our tickets were a few rows toward the stage from front of house, the sound was awful! None of the front fill speakers were on. I could hear Robert Cray talk and sing louder from stage then through the mic. I'm not sure if it was the age of the crowd, or just poor sound mixing from the FOH, but was a big disappointment,

Skokie Center for the Performing Arts is an attractive and comfortable venue with high level programming. It's easy to get to off highway 94, and the covered parking lot is free. Right now, proof of vaccination against Covid-19 is required. All the seats in both houses have good visibility and acoustics.

North Shore Center for the Performing Arts was easy to get to from out of town. It took a little longer to get a ride back because it's somewhat isolated. I attended the Godzilla concert Kaiju Crescendo. The monster music filled the room and sounded fantastic.

Amazing job on the outdoor Guy King concert today. Totally safe and socially distant, simple will-call and masked + gloved concessions! Greatly appreciate the attention to detail and delivery, and I think it's probably lucky but the acoustics between the garage and the building were excellent!

Our first time here. What a gorgeous venue. Saw the incomparable Irish rovers in concert. They always put on an entertaining show of Irish humor and song. The theatre is cozy with comfortable seating and excellent sightlines. Not a bad seat in the house! We drove in from Rockford and it's definitely worth the trip. North shore-you should be proud. Add a great dinner at bonefish grill and you have a great evening.

I just attended a Music of the Baroque concert here last night for the first time. I was impressed by everything. First, the parking is ample - an open lot which was full when I arrived, but also a large covered garage with plenty more parking. Also, someone was directing cars so we didn't have to waste time in the full lots and knew exactly where to find available spots. My tickets were at the box office, but there was a table when I first walked in with no line and a very pleasant woman gave me my ticket with no fuss, and told me which entrance to use. There were a good number of stalls in the women's bathroom so the inevitable line at intermission was not long. The theater is relatively small so it seems probably most seats are a good view. The seats were pretty comfortable and spacious, compared to many theater seats. Also, aesthetically very attractive lobby and theater.

Every experience I've had at North Shore has been outstanding. The shows are first rate and affordable with not a bad seat in the house. The theaters are simple and elegant. Staff and volunteers are professional and friendly. There is a small bar that is a little pricey, but parking is free and on site. There are often discount codes available, and you can save fees by purchasing at the Box Office.

The ambiance is reminiscent of a multi-purpose hall in the country. The size of the theater is appropriate, appears smaller than it actually is due to use of balconies. But there is no intimate atmosphere there. The point that irritates me most: too warm in winter, way too cold with drafty air condition during warm season.

This is a small theatre that packs a big punch! All seats are great. Went to see the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus and the acoustics were great, you can see the whole stage. Also, the sign on the door says Skokie welcomes everyone and for a local theatre- that was a felt sentiment.

I went to see my niece participate in a dance recital. The ticket cost $27 plus a $2 convenience fee and even though I paid cash I was required to give them my name, address, and phone number. The lady next to me had to pay $29 for her 3 year old and another $29 for a baby that could even sit on her own. REALLY? I'm sorry but that's ridiculous.

It would be very helpful if the Northshore Center posted their parking deck clearance limits onntheir website. Their deck has a very short height, and their parking attendants aren't well trained on how to handle oversized vehicles. "I guess you'll probably be ok to park in the DoubleTree lot" does not inspire a lot of confidence. Knowing the parking constraints of a 5'8" deck height in advance would be a huge help.
