Thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas play- YOU BETTER WATCH OUT at the beautiful historic Atlas Theater in downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming. Not a bad seat in the house.
The city was so pretty decorated with festive Christmas🎄 lights. If you get a chance to attend something here I suggest you go.
Such a cute show, makes you feel like you're back in time, love the audience participation. Lovely little theater & yummy popcorn too... In the heart of downtown Cheyenne. Parking structure close by. Thanks to the actors/actresses that volunteered their time during Frontier Days!
This theatre is absolutely amazing. It has a genuine historic atmosphere with amazing live performances. The actors are wonderful. There is ample seating for groups to go see plays, with drinks and concessions. The theater gets better all of the time. Go check it out!
The Cheyenne Little Theater players is a great organization! The architecture in the historic Atlas theater is amazing. The original tin ceiling is still in the lobby area. The plays that are put on by the Cheyenne Little Theater players at the atlas theater and at the Mary Godfrey contribute a great deal to the Cheyenne area. More people should go watch their plays and support this organization. The old fashioned melodrama is one of the highlights of Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Went and watched "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge", great play. Awesome atmosphere and an all around good time.
We really love coming here from Fort Collins for a date night. The acting is so good and very entertaining. It's got a classic old feel to the theater. Beautiful history of great performances!
I watched the rocky horror picture show here and the cast was amazing. A fun night full of laughter and friends.
Little Shop of Horrors on sponsor night! So much fun! Such a great kick off to the show.
Loved it, very nice little theater for our area. Very friendly and fast service.
The play was awesome and the actors were great.
Weirdest fun I've ever had! I've never gone to anything like this before, but I can definitely say I'd go again. Lots of beer, drinks, and snacks to be had. Great cause and great people!
Went to the NYE drag show and had such a fabulous time. The acts were all high energy and fun. I can't wait to attend more events.
Love this place, definitely a good show every time.
I had a good time with my family and they provide excellent service, however I wasn't impressed with the actual show. It's changed over the years.
It's a beautiful theatre with great shows. Tours too. I highly recommend checking it out!
Cheyenne Little Theater performance was AWESOME. Don't Dress for Dinner was so fun!! Thanks for always putting on the very best performances!!
Lovely small venue. Saw a Christmas play and thoroughly enjoyed myself. They have a snack and drink bar with great offerings. The seats aren't the most comfortable but the good far outweighs that small issue.
I loved the shows so much that I keep going back for more!
We did the old fashioned melodrama,, and had a blast... the admission was a little bit higher than I expected about 15 dollars a person but the concessions were very cheap and good. They sell beer and drinks, popcorn. But all the money goes back into the historical building.. you should do it once at least.
Our hosts told us how wonderful it was but as it was under extensive renovations were could not go inside. The exterior restoration and colours were fabulous. What a great way to capture the old culture of a historic city.
The Atlas is a beautiful piece of history, with a wide variety of events and plays of every genre taking place here every year. Tours of the upstairs are available year round, with ghost tours being provided during Midnight West Fest the first weekend every October.
For the 42yrs that I've lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I've never been to the Atlas Theater. There is a local movie company that is having an amazing festival, this weekend. Friday October 2nd to Sunday October 4th. Films, comedy, horror, laughs and special guest appearances like Bobby Phillips. The local film company is The Midnight West film company. Check out some of their films. Full of horror, gore, blood, and comedy. Check them out. Bobby is one of Cheyenne's very talented musicians. If you ever get a chance to catch one of his shows, you should. Very talented. The Theater itself is definitely something from the past. With its history and historical value. There are ghost tours at night. You visit the second and third floors of the building. You take your own life into your hands as you tour the old building that is in need of repairs badly. Check it out, worth the few bucks. Overall experience was a 10. 1 out of 10. 10 being awesome and 1 being no good. Its a great time and experience.
Had a great time with this community theater. All the actors are wrong the actors are volunteers and that made it really special
Beautifully restored both inside and out this magnificent building is currently home to the Cheyenne Melodrama which runs during Cheyenne Frontier Days (the last full week in July. The performances are presented by the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players. The theater can be rented out for private or public functions
What a beautiful treasure for the people of Cheyenne and surrounding communities.
This photo is of us getting ready to audition for Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced in September 2021.
I have enjoyed FACE Vocal Group several times before tonight, however, listening to them at the Atlas was amazing...great sound! This was my favorite venue for these talented men so far.

The whole thing is run by volunteers, but don't let that dissuade you!!! They put on an extremely high quality production!!!!
This is a beautiful location and I experienced a wedding here - what a special, unique venue in historic downtown Cheyenne!
Bought tickets from their ticket broker they double-booked my seat wasn't happy about that but the show was great.
I saw the Old Fashioned Melodrama here with my girlfriend, and it was awesome. The inside of the building looks like it's straight out of a cowboy movie.
