I will definitely attend another ballet here I'm sure! We went as a whole family and I probably enjoyed it the most out of everyone but The Nutcracker is my favorite holiday tradition and this was wonderful! Only 4 stars because the seats are lacking a ton in comfort between style and size so it makes for an uncomfortably close show with strangers..

We saw Shun Yun there, and the staff was so pleasant. They went out of their way to serve. Very clean, bathrooms also clean. Concessions were easy and quick. One thing I was displeased with is the ability of people being able to eat snacks during the performance, nothing worse than trying to watch a heartfelt moment while the people behind you are ripping into Reece's cups popping cans open, and chewing on chips. Then dump their trash all over the floor. I picked up the stuff around us the best I could. I understand loud concerts but not performances like this. Anyway still was an awesome place.

Beautifully remodeled, modern and cozy. Deceptively large theater. Seating is comfortable and despite sitting mid balcony, had a great view of the stage. Would love to see more productions here.

We saw the Nutcracker this past weekend and it was a great show! Love the remodel and acoustics in this place. Good concession stand and they've also upgraded the seats, which is very awesome.

We enjoyed a concert there, but we were disappointed by not having a good view of the stage and performers. We sat in the balcony and everyone was complaining about not being able to see. We had to stand up in order to catch a glimpse. We sat in the far upper left corner of the balcony for the Zach Williams concert.

The drink line was way too long. You should have 3 lines. We couldn't even just sit and enjoy a drink during the show. It was ridiculous. We did get there early. Then everyone showed up, from the preparty, right ahead of us. Couldn't even have a water.

The new facility is outstanding, and the orchestra and guest artist made for an exceptional evening. And kudos to Maestra Harrigan for calling out those rude people who seemed to think the mask requirement didn't apply to. I happen to be one of those people who are severely immunosuppresed, and was truly looking forward to an evening of beautiful music in safety at the ABT. Thank you.

I have seen many shows here. The staff is helpful. The prices are usually pretty decent depending on what your going to see. There is a large focus on smaller or local shows which is nice but I do wish there was a greater variety of national popular shows and on a more frequent basis, although the Alberta Bair Theater might have less control over that then I am aware of.

A spectacular theater with great acoustics, nicely laid out, and is well supported by the Billings community. We just saw a Chopin concert by a duo playing cello and piano, and it was a wonderful and sophisticated experience. They host a great diversity of events for all ages and interests.

Beautiful well maintained older theater, with absolutely fantastic acoustics! Have sat in the balcony and down on the main floor and was able to here everything perfectly. Even in the furthest back row at floor level, I could see perfectly what was going on.

Attended the Billings Clinic Classic where our party enjoyed the performance of singing artist Jewel. The concert was wonderful as she has an amazing vocal range. For quite a few songs she would perform either a capella or with the music very soft and low; it was at these times the performance was ruined by the loud banter and laughter that could be heard from the lobby as it seeped through the exit doors behind our row (located at the very center of the rear of the theatre). It was extremely distracting and disappointing. Why there were folks outside the door making so much noise instead of enjoying the show made absolutely no sense so we had to assume it was the volunteers/employees that were responsible for the ruckus. This experience tarnished what was otherwise an enjoyable evening.

Alberta Bair theater is great place for entertainment with culture but the place really needs to be refurbished. It's not like it's falling apart but it's just very oddly put together. We have had a problem lately with the venue and recently went to what we thought was a full production of Carmen and it turned out to be a partial production and it was so bad that during intermission we had to leave we couldn't stand another minute and we noticed there were a lot of other people leaving to. So when they're on point they do great but they need to really pay attention to what their looking for entertainment because it's going downhill. My recommendation would be just be selective and really research what you're going to go see otherwise it's fine.

Always a great experience at ABT. Places like this are a big reason why I like living in Billings. I don't attend events here regularly, I am pretty selective, but all the productions I have seen were memorable and well done, most recently A Charlie Brown Christmas. Most seats are good to great, comfortable and plenty of room. Concessions are not too big a priority for me, but whenever I've indulged they have been fine.

My Grammy sang in the Messiah Festival. It was a treat! Their was a choir and a few opera singers. The chairs were old, yet they did the trick. It was absolutely free for me, so I wasn't complaining. It was very easy to get out and come in. Parking wasn't too arduous either.

It was soooo hot in there. I know they have to shut the AC off for acoustics but it was ridiculous in the balcony. Also, why have they never staggered their seats? It's impossible to see around the people in front of you because everyone else has their heads pushed to one side straining for a view. I went to see Once and was so disappointed I only saw a fraction of the performance in those uncomfortable, non-staggered seats. The musical was amazing and they get amazing groups in all the time but they seriously need to update the theater.

Last visit was before renovation started. Pretty run down at that point. A maze to try to figure out how to get around. We'll see if the renovation helps or if they are just putting lip stick on a pig. Parking will still be a major problem.

Great performance. Sound system was a little weak for the Jersey Boys. It was hard to understand the dialogue. Even the music could have been stronger. Truthfully we were in the back of the balcony. Maybe the sound was better on the main floor.

A piece of Billings history and a cultural corner stone for the arts in the area. Capable of housing some very large shows ABT has been a delight to attend for the last 30 years. The theater will be closed for a while in 2019 but should be back up late. 2020.

This is one of the premier centers of art and culture in Montana. Theater, opera, and shows for all age groups are available year-rounds. They also provide excellent options for educational school field trips. Located next to a parking garage, and many restaurant and bar options.

Went and watched Shen Yun. Was a great experience. The acoustics were awesome and you could see everything from any seat. The ushers were very helpful. There is a concession stand inside to buy drinks and candy, not sure what all they had. I do think the price for the tickets was a bit much, $80-$120, a ticket. There is also no parking lot. You drive around trying to find a place you can park and could end up 5 blocks away.
