The Maryland State Boychoir "MSB" is a wonderful organization that is providing a great opportunity for our son to experience music, make new friends, in fun and engaging ways. The audition process was warm, welcoming and non-competitive. Our 10yr old son was a bit apprehensive initially about auditioning, but music director Stephen Holmes, along with the MSB music team, did an incredible job making our son feel super comfortable during his audition visit. It was magical to watch. This will be his 4th year with MSB, and he continues to have fun signing and learning new songs. My wife & I appreciate that MSB plans for several fun social outings (mini-golf, scavenger hunts, arcade gaming night, trip to theme park) for the various choir age groups during the year to build friendships and community.

I remember my days as a choirboy singing in this choir. That experience has made me a better musician as a whole. The community that surrounds the choir is incredible. I owe much of my musical ability and knowledge to my years in the boychoir. If you know any boys who love to sing, please consider the Maryland State Boychoir.

Amazing organization with professional decorum and performance. My son enjoys the choir and we are grateful for all they offer, including an away summer and winter camp, etiquette formal dinners, and rather comprehensive music and singing lessons by notable members of the community.

My son has been part of this choir for four years. From the staff and directors to the families and choristers, this is an amazing group to be affiliated with. They take music seriously but have a goal to help raise the boys to become respectful community members who make beautiful music. Go on their website and make sure to attend one of their numerous concerts at their own gorgeous Center for the Arts in Mayfield in NE Baltimore or elsewhere in Maryland. As a chorister, there are great opportunities to travel and sing around the country and even internationally. Love our MSB!

Check out the website for awesome upcoming concerts. The Maryland State Boy Choirs are great. The directors take time to groom the young men to be outstanding gentlemen and citizens. They broden their horizons by traveling all over to see different cultures, places, and expond on their experiences. In addition, teach them the art of music.

The Maryland State Boychoir's beautiful neogothic cathedral is a wonderful place to visit. The surpurb choir who calls this their home is tucked into the Mayfeild neighborhood, which has been preserved as a beautiful part of historic Baltimore. Recently they have been working on improving their grounds in a combination of additions and upkeep. If you are in Baltimore, the Maryland State Boychoir Center for the Arts is a must visit!
