An Evening Of Soul Live With Eric Roberson and Ledisi was one of the best concert I have seen yet at The Maple House. The venue is beautiful with lawn, stadium and table seating, there have various vendors and concessions there as you enter the venue.
The stadium seating was spacious and accommodating for small-med size portable table top trays and there is enough room to maneuver in the aisle without disturbing cats that are already seated.
I look forward to attending more events here. Keep up the good work Maple House you guys are truly Free Class.❤👏🏽👏🏽
Side Note: I forgot to mention that PARKING IS FREE there.

Make sure to arrive early to get a good parking space in the standard lot (there is a VIP lot); the band started at 7pm and parking was packed at 6pm. Actual restrooms on-site plus vendors with food/drinks/apparel available.
Had tickets for the back lawn so made our way past the seated area and the stepped seating area to the top of the amphitheater where the grassy area is. A little steep however doable as we were prepared with our blanket, folding chairs, cooler and got a spot in the center near the black railing.
Last night there was a jazz concert that I had been invited to. Both the bands were good and the intermittent music selections were on point.

The Mable House experience was a first time for me, however I wanted to check out the restrooms for cleanliness as well as the food court and everything checked out great, but my only beef was the seats were tightly close to each other. My wife and I went to see jazz artist Boney James and as the opener Norman Brown and his band, I must admit the entire concert was full of positive energy and great music. The security at the Mable House is provided by Police and I mean plenty of them which made us feel secured. This place also has Hip hop and R&B venues. The parking is in different areas as it is broken down to categories like VIP, 2ND area and last is first come first serve. This Amphitheater is wheelchair accessible. My wife and I would like to return in October for another jazz concert.

This is a great venue for live concerts. I went to the Wade Ford Concert Series with 'Ken Ford', 'Najee' and 'Jonathan Butler'! You can bring your wine, cheese and other food items in your cooler. I will always buy table seating. Great acoustics. This is a very nice Amphitheatre!

I love the Mable House and have attended several concerts there. Clean, friendly staff, police always on staff for security, and affordable ticket prices with great artist. Brian Mc Knight was Epic and gave a great performance.🙌🙌🙌🎉🎉🔥🔥💯💥😎 …

I really love this venue. I space between the comfortable row of seats allows people to move in and out without you standing up to let them get seated. There was plenty of security. There were several concession stands. You can bring in your own picnic basket along with adult beverages. Some people had small tables to place lit candles on. I went here to see Kem Chemistry and enjoyed the venue so much that I checked to see who would be performing at Mable in the future

Beautiful venue. My only complaint is that if you are sitting on the lawn and bring a wagon or several other items like chairs it is going to be cumbersome to bring them up the stairs on a wagon. In such an instance, you will need 2 people to navigate the wagon up the steps. Otherwise, my friends and I had a Blast. Parking options were great too.

One of, if not, the best amphitheater in the south. Beautifully constructed for any venue to serve. Love the stage. Great place to perform anything. The sound man was on point and the lighting man did our show justice.

The concert was ok. There were a few issues with the sound but they eventually worked it out. If you will be sitting in the lawn area arrive early so that you can sit in the renovated arena lawn seating. We did arrive 45 mins early to get in line but by the time we got in, the arena lawn seating was already full. So we had to sit in the unfinished lawn area (in the very back at the top) which has a very steep slope & the farther back you are, you will not be able to see the stage or the TV monitors because of chairs in front of you & the way the awning overhangs obstructing the view. (See pictures)
If you want a guaranteed view, get tickets for the tables or the chair seating (or arrive super early for lawn seating). Another tip: If you have carts or rolling items, there is ONE line to the far left that accommodates rolling items. All other lines are stairs. This line will slow you down from getting into the arena to the lawn section. If possible, send someone in the other lines (which moves faster) to go ahead & secure your lawn spot.
Also...unfortunately, if you have rolling carts & have to sit in the very back unfinished lawn area, there is a VERY steep hill that you may have to climb to get there. (The arena lawn seating has stairs).
It was still a decent outing & we could 'hear' the performance.

My wife and I went to a concert. The venue is nice mostly covered with a lawn area. We sat on the front row of the lawn. The view was nice, the weather was perfect and we really enjoyed ourselves. Free parking and bring your on cooler was the icing on the cake.

Great night out with the wife. Disappointed to have had flight to French Riviera canceled by airline, she found some Norman Brown/Boney James tix as a small consolation. Really didn’t want to go as there’s no comparison btwn Mabelton and the French Mediterranean. Was pleasantly surprised to have good traffic flow into and out of the facility and quick access past the security/ticket line. Not a bad seat in the house bc all are under cover and provide good sight of the stage with ample sound that reaches audibly into the edges of the parking lot; pix taken from Row O, Seat 57 near back of covered area. Restrooms were clean, the crowd well behaved and show was awesome. Only complaint is that NB didn’t play “Better Days Ahead” and BJ didn’t play “Sara Smile.” Will definitely be back.

I'm so glad Mable House is becoming one of the main amphitheaters for concerts now. I love the venue and space. The lawn section is small, so I've always opted to pay for a seat. The views have always been really good

Visited here on 8/20/22 for the Music Soulchild and Chrisette Michel concert. Parking was good staff members were helpful. The bathrooms were clean as well! You can bring your own food and drink, have a picnic and enjoy yourself! I'd definitely return in the future.

I was at a concert here to see some of the old school hip hop greats, I sat in the lawn area , I like the way they have the lawn seating staggered for about 10 to 15 flights up and then the rest is lawn in the back. This way gives you an opportunity when you're sitting in the staggered area to be able to see. We had a great experience, bringing in our food and drinks and enjoying awesome music well into the night. Initially I was going to purchase the seating under the pavilion, but I'm so glad we decided to purchase the lawn seats because it gives you more freedom and space rather than sitting in seats. We have the ability to stretch out, it was really nice. Thankfully we had good weather that day and rain wasn't an issue.

We attended the CONFUNKSHUN Concert this past weekend. The Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre is on point! Free parking (parking lot did fill up to capacity during our event but we were routed to public parking in the nearby post office and library parking lots). Easy access and entry, literally no waiting in line (s)--they had at least 6 entrances with folks waiting to scan your mobile tickets.
Seating was great!! We were in row C (left terrace) 2 end seats and boy were these seats great! We brought a small table, food & drinks and still had leg room & never had to move our picnic basket or small table for others to get out/in our row. Our seats were also very close to the VIP section, about 2 rows below us, so we could see/hear very well.
Everything about the CONFUNKSHUN concert was awesome! It was a packed event but fun from the time we entered to exit! Confunkshun, El DeBarge, & Midnight Star took us back to a time in music where life was just fun!!! Crowd involvement was the best from all 3 entertainers!! And the host MC LIGHTFOOT was the BEST ever along with the DJ on the turntables!! They both know how to get the crowd grooving! We are DEFINITELY returning to this venue as we really like the set up--even the lawn seats seemed to be a good option as chairs are now allowed. Bravo Mablehouse!!

Great outdoor amphitheater. Small venue so there is not a bad seat in the house. Great place to see a concert.

It was a great show all the artists did exceptionally well in their presentation and their music MC Lightfoot was hilarious

Jamming with War, and the Ohio Player nothing like the old School...! Nice Facility in Mableton Ga, Its convenient for someone who wants to bring their own food in too ...I Brought my Long Horns and 4 Dr Pepper....lol

I love this amphitheater because it's very easy for parking (free) in and out. It's just awesome! I volunteered there 6.5 years before I moved. I highly recommend it over the others. The acts are top notch 👌 …
DeMario Reid
The venue was nice & clean. There was a bad seat at this venue. The staff was very professional & polite.

Birthday celebration with friends. Enjoyed the Venue and Concert!.... Definitely will be back for another concert🙂 …

Love this facility. I wish they could get the sound system more stable. My favorite amphitheater.
Paulette Russell
It is one if the best venues that I have been to. Every seat in the house you were able to see the stage. You could bring your food, drinks and just have an enjoyable evening. Parking was easy to get in and out of.
Vaughn Johnson
Great building. Would be nice if they had concrete walking paths near the grassy parking lot. Was difficult for my date to walk across the field in high heels. The sound system and lighting was awesome.
Amanda Harvey
You will always have a great time here. Every concert I've attended here has always left me with a great experience....
Karen Steward-Davis
The theater was great as usual. But I must say I was disappointed that Rick Braun and Richard Elliot did not perform more of their music. Yes they are great artist but we all bought tickets to a jazz concert not a funk concert.
Valdivia Boswell
Nice venue, you can bring your own chairs cooler, and cart to carry your food
Duan Hall
I've been to this location a few times in the pass few months and I love the atmosphere. Come early to get good lawn seating. Otherwise you'll be too far back to see anything. Enjoy your concert.

Very pleased with this location. Free parking if you get there early. You can bring food and drinks but they do have a decently priced concession stand too. Theres really no bad seat in the house. Thank you Mable House.

Free parking, you can bring your own food and drinks is a super plus for me.

It was a great experience coming to the amphitheater. The music was awesome the seats were nice and comfortable, I just had a great time all around

What a lovely venue!!! Absolutely surprised at the intimacy of this Amphitheater, folks turned out to welcome ConFunkShun, Midnight Star and El DeBarge!! Suggestion - get there EARLY as parking is limited on campus. There is VIP parking if you buy your ticket online via Ticketmaster - however, if you go 1 street over the neighbours are gracious enough to allow you to park in their yards *for a fee😉 the gentleman whose yard I parked in was kind enough to say 'whatever I wanted to give him' for that $20 was good for me. He directed me in a lit, secure area with other patrons and everything was in order upon my departure. Inside the venue, the staff were WONDERFUL!! From bathroom attendants, security, ushers, everyone was very friendly and efficient. Box office crew were EXCEPTIONAL!! The young gentleman who I spoke to before I went there before the event was even more pleasant when I showed up in person. Vendors were there too selling very nice and fashionable wares, sunglasses, hats, clothing, jewellery, food, really beautiful items. Mable House Barnes Amphitheater I shall return to you in the very near future!! Btw~~~did I mention that you can bring your own food & drinks? Just ensure there aren't any bottles folks came with all kinds of niceties, wings, pasta, salads, coolers packed!! Fold out picnic tables, candles, OMG!!! Just simply beautiful!! A great time was had by ALL!! GREAT JOB MABLE HOUSE BARNES Amphitheater 👏🏿 👍🏾

I thought this place was amazing. No seat is bad and they are all under the roof so you will not be rained on. The sound and lights are great. Plus I love the fact that you can park for free and bring your own beverages and food. The photo I'm attaching is three rows from the back. Section N. If you were to go to a bigger Arena this would be extremely close but it is the back of this place.

What an Amazing Event, I was able to share with my Husband and best friend since 5th grade. Thanks for the Experience, I can't wait to visit again when I'm in town.

Welcoming Atmosphere: very nicely laid out amphitheater with ample parking for disabled and regular parking; has on site concessions but you are welcome to bring your own food; clean restrooms, and table seating for a price difference verses the theater area but reasonable. This particular day, they were putting on a free concert in and the featured artist was a strong act with a beautiful vocal range a great accompanying musical collaborating set of artists. They performed some soulful, soft rock and old school classics from the 70's to include Tina Turner, Elvis Presley, and Stevie Nicks to name a few. The audience was very interactive on a majority of the songs (especially Stevie's). So, if you are in the area and are looking for some local entertainment, check out Mable House and enjoy the ambience of some good mixed company!

We saw Avant open up for 112 and Jagged Edge. They were all amazing! We had front row table seats. I wouldn't book a future concert with any other seats! Great venue and great parking.
Elli K
Very nice venue...a little late getting gate open but otherwise good support from staff. The grass is faux and did not get drenched from rain which was a plus sitting in the grass seats. Nice broad aisles good sound and visuals during concert. You can bring your own food and drink or purchase beer or wine on location. Parking is free I believe ticketmaster offers tickets for Mable Barnes parking on their site for $20 bucks. Keep this in mind and enjoy the concert!

Love going to Mable House for outside covered concerts. Sound is great, you can bring your own food and drink. Good times

This was my first visit to this amphitheatre last night. I went to see Jeffrey Osborne and Peabo Bryson. We were running late. Got there about 7:30. Had no problem finding parking. It's free. I'm amazed at that because everybody charges nowadays. We walked through the lot to a path. Easy enough however as we crossed over into the next lot here comes the steps. Ugh. There us a handicap ramp too. When I exited I saw another path to avoid that set of steps.
There was no waiting in line to get in the place. Just a couple of tables and some scanners they use. Plenty of vendors were out. The restrooms and food windows were also on this level. The ushers in red shirts directed us to the table area which was more steps going down but oh the misery of walking up all of them when you leave.
The usher walked us to our table and found our seats. I was so happy because I had a centered view of the stage. Tables are where it's at. The sound was amazing!!!! The artists were engagingvajd personable. Jeffrey Osborne opened his act from the top of the seats literally. He came through the crowd singing and allowing folks to touch him or shake his hand. Loved him. That wasn't the only time he came down in the audience.
Leaving I did walk up that two sets of steps but didn't have to do the same for the other because there were some side paths.
If you are elderly or disabled this place may be a problem for you to access. No chairs are allowed on the lawn. Almost all of the amphitheater is covered and not in the open. I will most likely return here in the future.
Dr. Catherine Barnes
There are no bad seats here. The covered area was nice and gave you both room and a great view of the stage. The outside area is like bleachers and turf on them. Great for lawn chairs and good times. Parking is fine if you get there early but, if not across the street or at the grocery store about a block away works. I'd go again.
Seth Sorano
Well organized venue with top-notch bands bringing you top-notch entertainment!
The Bates
Lyfe Jennings and Tank was amazing. VIP parking was good not a far walk.
katrece E.
I love this location for concerts. There’s not a bad seat in the house whether you were on the lawn or actually have a table upfront. Prices are normal plate. They have some great ask here I love the covered seating

Perfect Venue for Music & Entertainment and a Best Kept Secret!!
I lived in Lithia Springs for four years before I even knew about this Amphitheatre located a mere 15 minutes from me. My wife and I enjoy going to concerts at Mable House. The experience is always memorable. During the summer time there are lots of great concerts at the amphitheater. We just saw this weekend Najee and Brian Culbertson. What a terrific show.
Nice Features:
- Covered Terrace. The majority of the Amphitheatre is covered by a roof. It's still open air but you get some shielding from the elements (rain and direct sun). Note: There is no cover over the lawn seating area.
- Smaller Venue. The venue has a more intimate feel then bigger amphitheaters such as the Chastain Amphitheater. Also because it is a smaller venue that holds less people it takes a little bit less time to get parked.
- Seats Instead of Marked Benches. At Mable house in the terrorist level the seats are actually fold-down seats that are fairly comfortable. So there's not much need to bring a stadium seat cushion.
Kevin Brinson
Bring your wine, beer, dinner with small table, and enjoy the show! Parking is also free.
Faye Cottrell
Similar to the Greek Theater in Los Angeles CA.Open air, hard chair seating vs benches ( Hllywd Bowl) 1/2 is covered, lawn space. Parking could be stacked.Grateful for the protective covering last night Experienced my 1st Georgia Thunderstorm..Scary!
Robia Ashley
The venue was great. We were able to bring food and drinks. The concert was great. DruHill and Raheim did a marvelous job. The MC was good also. This was a fantastic evening with family and friends.

Nice and clean NO BUGS you can bring your own food and drinks which was great! I sound was perfect and the parking was good as well... I had a fantastic experience

This is a wonderful venue! There are no bad seats and you can even bring your own food & drinks. I saw The Ohio Players with WAR headlining. I enjoyed myself thoroughly!

Let’s just keep it short and simple. I love this place. I’ve been here 9 times so far this year. This place is Everything. From Clean.Convenient.Grown& Sexy Vibes.Safe. You Won’t Go Wrong Booking a ticket Here FA SHO ‼️
Jackie Wilson
This is the BEST Amphitheater I've ever been to. I drove 2.15 hrs to see Musiq Soulchild and Chrisette Michelle. What I didn't prepare for was you could bring your own food and beverages. I'll be prepared next time.
Sha-Lynn Drinkard
The Mable is a really nice concert venue. This venue has ample covered seating. The lawn has been upgraded... it use to be a hill and no chairs allowed...now the hill has a stadium style elevation and chairs are welcome. Parking is also free and convenient. My only complaint would be the jumbotron could be larger or others added.
carissa jones
It was absolutely wonderful the vibe an my tribe I loved the energy that was there everyone was friendly and welcoming it was my first but not my last an the weather was also marvelous it was the best time in along time oh an the artist definitely turned up can't wait to go back 😊 …
Robert Colon Sr.
A wonderful place to enjoy music and shows your allowed to bring chairs blankets and coolers and food wheel chair access and the parks people will drive you to your seat or area if you are disabled clean bathrooms and great service and security Cobb County Sheriffs Atlanta police and GA STATE POLICE make you feel safe at these events
Shantasia Jones
We went to go to the Avant, Raheem Devaughn, and DruHill concert at the Amphitheater. Our experience there was amazing!!! You have 3 seating options based on what tickets you buy. We decided to purchase the lawn seats because you can bring chairs and coolers. The staff is helpful because they'll help you carry your stuff. If you don't want to be bothered with all of that you can buy the tickets where you can sit at a table or the stadium like chairs. The Amphitheater also had food and alcohol drinks for sale as well. The bathrooms were decent considering the large amount of people. I also recommend to pay for parking it'll take alot of stress off your shoulders because parking is nerve-wracking.
Sharon Horton
It was my very 1st time coming there to a concert, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I actually like the layout of it all, was able to get in & out at a reasonable time , definitely wouldn't mind coming again to the next O.G. concert 🙂 …
Jocelyn Gordon Walker
The improvement was only added seating in the wooded area. Parking is still a bear. I was there for my son's final high school band performance. This year they did not provide food so we had to supply our own which was great!
Tranay Owens
My daughter attended the recent Fall Festival event with her Girl Scout Troup held on the outside of the Amphitheater and I can say the surroundings were pleasant. You can see the theater from where the event was and it looked really nice. I couldn’t give it 5 stars because I did not utilize the facilities.
Tee Mitchell
My husband and I enjoyed the Joe and Silk concert here...everyone was nice...parking was free....allowed to bring in your own food and drinks...overall great adult experience....keep it up....!!!!!
James Thompson
It was ok but the seating on the lawns view is obstructed by the theaters awning. The awning needs to be raised so that the screens on the stage can be seen and more screens need to be placed outside of the theater's awning to support the folks located on the lawn viewing the shows.
Bud Garner
Great outdoor venue. Concerts are excellent. Listening to Peter White, Euge Groove, Jonathan Butler and Mike Franks. Staff is helpful and courteous. Patrons have a good time without infringing on the other's enjoyment of the acts.
Ambassador Dr. Angela J Nealy, PhD
It was easy to find our seats. The temperature was very comfortable as we sat at round tables under a roof. The Sound was fabulous. Ticket prices were worth the ability to access the stage as well as sit close enough to hear.
Sarah Thompson
Watched one of the free movies and had a great time! They provided plenty of activities and play space for the kids. No limit on food you can bring in. They had the seating under cover and a hill for picnic blankets and such. Getting in and out of the parking can be tricky.
valencia ward
Boney James and Norman Brown were awesome. The sound staging was amazing. Well light and we were under the covered portion of the theater. It was so nice to attend the event and have a great time with people u didn't know and be safe. No fights no negativity at all.
Teshanika Williams
This was a nice place the grass area could be better it's on a steep hill and we kept worrying about falling while enjoying our adult beverage. They do however need more vendors for food. I know most ppl bring their own food but we didn't have time and did not want to wait on burgers and chicken tenders
Rose Morgan
Had a great time at a jazz concert held at this location. The facility was large and the restroom clean. The only problem was their parking. I would attend another event at Mable House Barnes Amphitheater.
Tonio Seven
I enjoyed one of the concert experiences of my life so far!
Jon B
I love this venue! The acoustics are good and the MHBA management has, over the years, allowed more food and retail vendors during concerts and special events. Speaking of concerts, they now have a summer schedule that features some of the biggest names in smooth jazz, R&B, and old-school hip-hop. Parking can be a challenge occasionally, but basic parking is free...plan accordingly.

We attended our third Gregory Porter Concert at Mable House last night...as ALWAYS Mr. Porter did not disappoint. Other than Gregory Porter being a Mind-Blowing phenom...the Venue is TOP NOTCH. Mable House is Absolutely Beautiful and there is NO such thing as a bad seat...no matter where you are located in or around the amphitheater, your experience will be amazing. The seats are comfortable and roomy, which is important to me because I'm a plus size woman. We traveled three hours to get to Mableton and it was worth every mile...We are diehard Mable House Barnes Amphitheater Fans and next time...We hope you meet us there. #5StarExperience!!-

We all had s GREAT TIME, our Lawn Seats were upgraded to seats under the Top. We will go to other Venue's at this location.👍🏾 …

The venue is, and has always been nice in my view. Noticing mediocre sound engineering the past few years. Specifically, you will hear lots of the kick drum, guitar and horns, but you need extra aids to know the bass man, keys and background vocals are working.
Teresa westbrooks
The best amphitheater in Atlanta. Sound, accessibility, free parking, and great artists makes this a perfect place to enjoy live music.
SoBronx Queen
Loved it! This is a really nice place to hold an outdoor concert. I really enjoyed it and you can see the artist from the upper lawn area.
Mike Reid
Awesome venue just need to level off the grass part
Jerrie Jordan
This is an excellent venue! You can bring your own drinks & snacks or buy from vendors. Buy tickets at the box office for the best price
Ashley A.
A very nice venue. Love the fact that you can take your own food and beverages. It was easy getting to and parking wasn't bad at all. Definitely will go back!
Princess White
Gregory Porter concert at the Mable House was spectacular. Althrough we were on thr grass the view and sound was still as clear as been down front.. Amazing cannot wait for next venture at the Mable house.

I really enjoy going to the Mable house especially when I get to see my favorite singers like Jeffery Osborn who really did his thing on last night great show. Can't wait to see you again.
Lashanda Whitworth
Great venue for concerts! Parking is close to entrance. Lawn seats are great also.
SLD Daimoku
I love this venue. It small, yet large enough to not feel overcrowded. There isn't a bad spot anywhere. I love the variety of concerts and artists they bring in every year, especially the Wade Ford jazz series.
K Kimble
First time visiting, went to see Lalah Hathaway and it was BEAUTIFUL. Outside seating (some covered), there is lawn seating as well as actual chairs and tables. You can bring your own food and drinks so it was a really good experience and I would definitely go again. Folks had mini coolers, lawn chairs, blankets, single food tables and most of all a great time.
PixieSoul
Nice venue. We enjoyed Ken Ford, Najee and Johnathan Butler very much. Staff membera were nice and professional. Parking was convenient.
Ebony Romero
I wish we had known that we could BYOB because we would have brought a whole cooler. The vibes were unmatched and we were sitting in a really good spot. Definitely would go again. Also, I highly recommend paying for parking ahead of time.

Can't wait until spring/summer for the next concert season. Convenient, safe, ADULT fun!

Love this Place I've been to Many Concerts from Stephanie Mills, Soul II Soul Kindred the Family Soul and just last night Will Downing Maysa & Mike Phillips. Being able to bring your own food and drink lawn chairs is always a plus. Today 5/22 WAR & the Ohio Players next week Cameo Confunkshun & Lakeside.❤️🙏🏽 …
Leon Williams
Medium size arena seats 1,500 with a great sound stage and all good seats.

I went to the Lalah Hathaway concert here last night and I Loved it!! It was my first time at the venue and I purchased the lawn seats. IMO these are much better than assigned seating which looked cramped to me. Lawn allowed me to have some space and set up my little table with food and drink. The weather was perfect and Lalah sounded amazing! I’ll definitely be back.
Miles Wagner
Great Concert venue. The seating is very comfortable especially if you are tall like me (6'5" ).
Queen Kiya I
Love this venue. Always a good crowd and experience no matter where your seated especially when DJ Lightfoot is hosting! Lol!
Leslie Watkins
First time at this venue and it is really nice!~ I recommend getting a table (we sat at table 35 which was right by the stage). And get there EARLY for parking.
Rolando Rogers
Great venue great amphitheater saw Stephanie Mills and Jeffery Osborne. Great performances had a great time for sure.
Ola Richardson
I had a great time. Parking good setting great even on the lawn. I will be back again and again. I saw Jeffery Osborne before Covid, he did not disappoint.😊 …
Tracy's Truths
Great concert selections and venue. Parking needs attention and monitors when leaving for easier flow and bathrooms need an IMMEDIATE refresh to be COVID FRIENDLY, electric soap dispensers, hand sensored sinks and paper towel machines would be more inline!!!!!
S. Candee' Winfeild
Celebrated my birthday with Boney and AWB. Both were great‼️💯 …
Jaz Blessed
Can literally bring tray tables, coolers, liqour, food what ever. If you have actual seats it's covered from the sun mostly. They had vendors and a concession stand
Sheryl Harris
I love this outdoor venue. Even if seated on the lawn, it's still an enjoyable experience. I'm looking forward to concerts returning to this venue. Can't wait to bring my food, wine and chair.
Robin Stennett
Love this intimate venue . Very clean , great sound system abs good vibes
Erika Lyons
I love that I can bring my own food and drinks in there while enjoying my show!
CorbinClosesAtl Real Estate
Very nice venue for outdoor summer concerts. The venue offers really good seating that allow for good views of the stage. The restrooms are always tidy and clean.
Glenn Burton
Friendly atmosphere, great service and seating. Love it every time I see a show.
Teyhama Harden
My husband and I has such an awesome experience! Brian McKnight was classic and a true talent. We will be going back.
Robin Crawford
Great show. Comfortable accommodations. Always a nice night out.
Julie Golden
I was pleasantly surprised! We learned that to get good parking you definitely have to get to the venue early. It is off a busy street so if you don't get to park in the lot you have to park at other options and deal with crossing a 4 lane busy street. Yes there is a cross walk but at the same time still not ideal.
We sat in assigned seating. Really good leg room. Restrooms are clean. Overall, good experience and I'd go back.
Angela Sanders-Glover (US)
Mable House is an excellent Amphitheatre. Each time I have gone there it has been an enjoyable time. I always get lawn seats because you and your friends can buy at different times and are still able to link up on the day of the show. Sound quality is excellent, staff is friendly, parking is easy and free! Now, the downfall...we went to see Will Downing this past weekend and was very disappointed that the acts that lead up to him went wayyyy to long! Each artist went about and hour a piece and that is before Will Downing came out. Not to mention that the Wade Ford sponsor spokesman spoke wayyyy to long as well; telling his life story and every thing! By the time Will Downing came out everybody was tired and some people were leaving. Quite frankly, Will Downing wasn't that great either. He sang a lot of filler songs of other artist which was perplexing because he has a catalog of good work of his own. And I am sure that having people walk out on him should be embarrassing and I would think he'd be concerned about his image. The show started at 7:00 p.m. and Will did not come out until after 10:00 p.m.! The show wasn't over until about 11:00 p.m. Too long of a show! None of those artist had the chops to hold an audience that long, including Will Downing! So, my suggestion to the Mable House event staff is to concentrate on quality and not quantity and to keep in mind that people come to see the main event! A two to two and a half hour show is sufficient. I have tickets for Ledisi and I expect her to "bring it" as I know she can. Hopefully there won't be a lot of filler time before she finally makes the stage! And I plan to get tickets for Earthquake this week. His show is on a Sunday so folks don't have time to see a lot of filler acts; work on Monday! I LOVE this Amphitheatre so I hope the staff takes this advice into consideration because if they continue to operate this way I will be forced to think twice before I get tickets in the future. Submitted in love and concern.

I had a ball you could bring your own food and drinks and I took a picture with TK soul
Sabrina Sheppard
Great concert atmosphere, most employees were very helpful.
Angela Russell
Get there early for good parking space. You will probably have to park other places. Liked the renovations. Had a fabulous time! No chairs with canopies were seen..hint hint!
Vivian Moore
The artist was unable to finish their set as sound was turned off without warning. Paid too much for a ticket to have that happen. Also if you're new to the city of Atlanta (as I am) you need to include more information about the venue ( concessions, personal food and drink are allowed on premises).
Discovering Davette
Great place for a concert! I look forward to returning.
James Heath
Had an awesome time seeing Dru Hill in concert
Liz Montgomery
Nice place all seats are covered except for the lawn area.. Sound system was not that great.
Peabo Bryson..Freddie Jackson and Howard Hewlett performed!!
tx sade
General seating on lawn was a mountain trek up hill....
Next time I will definitely get there earlier for the seated lawn pillars.
Concert was great 👍🏼 …
Kingo Cookem
Loved it! At the concert I attended, we we able to bring our own food and drinks, lawn chairs and blanket. The staff was very nice and welcoming as well. I had a great time and will visit again.
Christopher D.
Great venue. The Ol Skool Hip Hop concert I saw there was fantastic!
Shelly Gamble
This venue is awesome, inmate and clean.
It is ran in a organized manner as well.
The venue starts and ends on time.
Ladies the restrooms are maintained as well.
Michael Hawes
1st time for us here. Lovely intimate stadium seating. Most seats are covered. Easy in easy out parking. Bring food and drink if you desire.
Janice Rainey-Whitby
Get there early (1 hr.) to park in venue spaces and handicap access
Daniel Cunegin
Nice venue concert start on time free parking, except for Vip..
Wanda Newton
Attended the Brian Mcknight concert last 2021. The concert was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best I have ever attended. The seating was spaced well, staff very helpful and friendly. Definitley plan to attend another concert or two in 2022!
Ross 12 Johnson
Man, I had a blast! Will get there early next time though. Gets crowded quick just before 7. Love the "Bring your own Picnic Basket deal". Drinks were on me literally! Brian McKnight showed out, John B left some money on the table. Was better when I saw him with K Sweat and Johnny Gill in Macon a few years back. Heard a lot about the Mable house and it exceeded expectations! If you like music you'll like what the Mable House is doing! Ya need ta Go!
Gayle Johnson
The Experience there for concerts are awesome! There is not a bad seat in the house! Also, Thank you for a clean establishment☆
calvin houston
I liked the ability to bring your own food and beverage in without any hassle
Jose Olivencia
The concert and the atmosphere was electric. It was awesome. Got a chance to see my friend Stevie D from the Force MD's.
Patricia Livingston
This is my favorite outdoor concert venue in the Atlanta area. Great sound, easy free parking, quick in and out, and great seating area with wide rows. I must admit, though, that I was a little uncomfortable in the full seat area. I haven't been in that kind of environment since Covid began. I wish they could skip a seat between parties, but I know that would be difficult.
K'Dell Bates
I had a great time. The vendors price is was a little high, the food concession did not have a good variety how much potato salad and baked beans can you serve.
Devonna Guerrero
I really enjoyed the space and parking wasn’t bad we where able to find a great parking spot
Carla VanPelt
The facility it self was wonderful and very user-friendly, However I was somewhat disappointed with Police Control with traffic.
*The Gregory Porter concert was amazing!!!
Nedra Hill
I attended the Old School Hip Hop Fest here for the first time, and the venue is definitely grown and sexy. I would say that I would drive the 4 1/2 hours again for other events and would also recommend to both friends and family.
Lady P
The Employees Were Friendly. There were table located at the entrance, there were plenty of give away clear bags that had 2 nice mask and a bottle of hand sanitizer. There were plenty available. When we exited at the end of the show, they gave away boxes of Bluetooth Speakers that sounded great. The location was clean and comfortable seating. The stage was large and I could see everything.
Lora Quinn
Staff very helpful and friendly!
James Waldon
Great place to enjoy good music. Loved the atmosphere. Definitely recommend this venue for good outdoor outing
Frieda Baker
I had a wonderful time. Met this wonderful couple went in with them they left to go see Lil Wayne I had a ball. Possible seeing SOS almost for the last time Together. The Original SOS. lakeside original was perfect they sing all my favorites I can't wait to return
Candace Contrell
Update:
Have been back a few times for some great shows. Great time with family and friends.
Food prices have definitely become more reasonable. They are still more diligent about umbrellas and seating than they are about smokers even though there are several "No Smoking" signs.
Original review:
Show was great. Few sound issues, but not too bad. Stage was very visible from all seats.
However, the food prices were ridiculously high. And, although they said absolutely NO smoking inside the amphitheatre, there were plenty of people smoking any and everything... Need to be as diligent with smokers as they were about the size of your umbrella and space between lawn chairs.
daylon martin
Brian McKnight was off the chain! Get there early to find parking. The library, post office, and a few other places were free and within walking distance. The neighbors charge $20. Easy entrances but a lot of stairs and elevations. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Seats were great, pay the extra to be out of the sun or nearer to the stage. John b not so good...but Brian was off the chain!
Shedrick Fashaw
Marvelous setup, very very nice enjoy it each time I'm there.
C. Bunch
This was my first visit to this Amphitheater....as matter of fact, my first Amphitheater event ever...and I must say that I truly enjoyed my experience. The concert was awesome and the seating was great. We're '70's babies, with '90's Hip Hop History....Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-1, Kool Moe D, etc...the concert and the venue was well worth our land travels from Nashville, Tn. Thanks for the event.
Phyllis R.
I love going to this venue for concerts. Parking is "Free". Ladies restrooms, are always clean.
100% of the time. I attend Jazz concerts at this venue.
Not one time, have I felt not safe.
There is always good police presence.
Pat LS
My first time out in a very long time. Who would have thought it would be at my favorite local outdoor theatre/venue. Well first of all...Sam and Donna are superb. I had a special request and Sam did all he could to assure I was accommodate. I must say Sam gets the job done. He is a welcome spirit at your box office and front of the house agent.
Sandra Banks
The concert was awesome. Love the free parking.
Sheila Yvonne Anderson
Love, Love, Love this venue! Parking is easy both in and out. I've been there several times. I really enjoy it when the sun starts to set. If with a significant other, it can be so romantic. I was actually proposed to there at dusk. I said yes! Take a hat and/or some ice. It can get pretty hot while seated in the lawn section. There really isn't a bad seat in the house but check the weather if you choose the lawn section. Also, there's a great police presence for safety.
Dr. Tee
The lawn area for the general seating is not that big compared to other amphitheaters. There are a lot of slops in the grass that makes it difficult to place your chairs without leaning over.
micheal gaither
I've been going to Mable House for a few years and have always enjoyed myself, but my ongoing complaint has been and remains to be the sound system. If you're not down front, you're not going to hear the artist that well. In fact, the MC's mic is louder than the Artist.
Karyssa C
Went to a great concert but the venue ran out of parking. I don't feel like they should allow more to buy tickets than they can accommodate. Otherwise lawn seats were great and parking lot not a far walk from seats
Marvalina Scott-harp
Nice set up... The only problem is the parking area... If you can... park across the street a the library or post office... Easier to get out of...
Angellin Diamond
Great concerts good venue not enough parking. You have a great time.
Felicia McPherson
The set up was nice. The timing, not so much, it was cold....lol, but the show went on the guys killed it. LLOYD, BOBBY V, & MARIO.. ❤️❤️❤️

Mufasa Dolo
The lawn area is more like grass on high school stadium seats, but overall the venue is nice. Good visuals and you can bring your own everything!
Freda Norah
My husband and I always have a great evening at all the concerts we’ve attended at Mable House Barnes Amphitheater!
James Franklin
Awesome venue, it's our favorite outside Amphitheater. Brian McKnigh was awesome 👌 …
Stephanie Locke
Great venue!! First time visiting and hopefully not my last. Covered seating and great sound!
Valerie T.
Funk festival was a blast 👍🏾staff very helpful & on ☝🏾 …
Todd Logan
I have never been to this venue in the past, but I will be there for the first time this weekend. However, I must say that the people in the box office (Donnie, Will, etc.) are EXCELLENT employees at this establishment. They made purchasing tickets a very pleasant experience. I toured the venue, and was impressed as well.
Lynne Charles
This was my first time at this venue. It is laid out nicely for lawn seating and covered. It is a smaller venue than Wolf Creek and Chastain - more intimate setting. The acoustics were incredible! You are able to bring your food items with you as well as beer or wine. I was happily surprised and will definitely return.
Nikki Howard-Tarver
1st time here. Comparing to Chastain and Wolf Creek it's pretty decent. Smaller scale, covered seating area, smaller food/beverage area. You can still bring in food and drinks. We had a great time.
Valarie Wilson
Omg this was so nice got free tickets from some one it was so much fun bathrooms was so clean people was so kind 😊 ☺️ 💖 …
Adrienne Osborne

Miss Bow
Nice venue, hip hop legends was the best concert ever
Carol Hayes
Nice atmosphere. Great seating. I sat on the lawn and enjoyed it as well as if I sat in the seats. Bathrooms clean.
Mary Alston
We were there for Babyface Concert. It was superb.
Tammy Rowe
I love the seating. It's small and intimate. Love it
Marcus Williams
pretty nice venue...kinda small...parking is easy...sound system needs umprovement
Jackie Bris
Very nice enjoyed the concert definitely will be going back for others.
Lisa Clark
This is a nice little concert venue, with covered and lawn seating available. There is a table area at some shows. Bring in your own food and drinks (alcohol is permitted) or purchase at the concession stands (you could be in line a while, though.) Check the website before you go for what is allowed at your show. Restrooms were clean, staff was pleasant. Looking forward to the next time!
Kimberly Green
This was our first time here. Very impressed with the easy access to handicapped parking and entry into the event. Seating is easy with the aisles and seats clearly marked. Sound system is great although the last entertainer's mic didn't work and got delayed awhile. All seats are covered so no matter what the weather, the show will go on.
Looking forward to our next date night
Monique Perry
Every seat is a GREAT seat/view and great sounds.
Patrick Clark
Wonderful experience first time being there no problem getting in or out nice clean environment
Lawrence Gardner
Great place for concerts. Even the lawn section is good seating.
Jennifer Carlisle
Excellent concert Raheem DeVaughn and Dru Hill.
Eddie Mcmillan
Saw Jody watley and average white band to set off the summer. Ms.Watlay was excellent and looked amazing
Juanita Gates
It is very nice. Also, get to your show early for fast and better parking like any other venue. You will enjoy yourself. Go to the website to get more information.
SBIILIFE with Papa Phatal aka Carlos K (Papa Phatal)
Ñice concert venue for our community, but could be more accommodating for applicable patrons if they would convert the current available space on both sides of the stage area to a desinated dance floor space. The MC kept pumping the crowd up to get up and dance and get excited, but the ushers and security officers on duty kept bursting our "party bubbles" by telling us to clear the side areas or to sit down and not block the view of those behind that just wanted to sit, no matter how hyped the MC, DJ and and concert artist motivated the crowd to enjoy themselves. So whoever is on the Mableton concert venue board that can make this happen, I and many others would welcome a dance friendly party zone. And like the current VIP section that is very popular with concert attendees, I strongly believe that a designated party area would also be the HOT spot to be for concerts that have party bands and artists. And I, for sure, would purchase my ticket for the "Party Zone" each and every time that I know the MC and Artist will bring a party atmosphere to the table. So come on Mableton Amphitheatre, Be the Trail Blazer for creating the next level menu for concert venues...a Dance-Friendly Zone is way overdue. Respectfully, A Dance Lover for life.
Sadrina Hosea
Love the shows and the venue is the best in area
LaJenna Perry
Love the atmosphere! There's not a bad seat in the house. Great entertainment!
Chris Minkins
Very disappointed how the ended the show on Damien Escobar while he was performing
Sidney Lloyd
How refreshing to be able to attend an outdoor event where acoustically and visually no matter where your sitting you can have a good experience. I really enjoy having the ability to eat and drink at the provided table seating, regular seating and the lawn. Parking was not that bad coming into the venue or exiting...The public restrooms were clean and easy to access. Overall I would highly recommend this west side venue for any concert that you desire to attend.
Loretta Hilton
This event was very well organized and I really enjoyed the performances.
JRiden
The Gregory Porter event was awesome❤️. We sat on the lawn. You can’t and don’t need chairs because the lawn is a big hill (literally) some people had the stadium seats or something made like it to prop your back. Also some couples had inflatable chairs but they were at the base of the hill. Your have a great view from the lawn. And paying for parking puts you close by. Overall my experience was great.
Dutchess Daughter
I love this venue. It was my first time visiting. My seat was amazing. All of the covered seats are good. Eventhough it rained, we were dry. The parking was easy, and the sound was amazing. I am already looking for another concert to check out there. Great experience!
Antoinette Gilbert
The Mable house amphitheater was fun!!🙂🙌🏾 Bring your own lawn chairs for the lower price tickets.Nice to see people enjoying themselves again!! 🙂👍🏽🙂💃🏽🕺🏾 …
Tonie
This venue appears to be a miniature Chastain Amphitheater. The seats are really compact however. You can definitely enjoy concert here...they have them every weekend!
Jeanette Mcknight
It was a great concert. The staff and police made it very comfortable.
Rhonda Rowland
Excellent concert, excellent venue. Norman Brown, Boney James. Awesome summer night concert.
Tamika Smith
This place is awesome. The atmosphere is great and it's always clean. I've been there countless times and I've never been disappointed but once. I was there last night to see lakeside and sos band.
Alaric Evans
It was our first concert at MH but we did one Saturday and Sunday and had a great time both times! Bring your food and drink and party favors, its ALL WELL!
Tammy Anderson
It was amazing. Definitely recommend the tables but really not a bad seat in the house.
Terry Cooper
Great evening with Najee and Brian Culbertson. Good weather, sold out venue. Exceeded expectations, even the 2 up and coming Artists did extremely well. Had a wonderful time. This place still has some exceptional jazz performances coming up, jazz lovers really need to look into the jazz series at Mable Barnes Amphitheater. Highly recommend.
Peggy Ballard
I had a wonderful experience here at the Blues and Roots festival! Such an awesome venue and love that it is right here in “my backyard”! I was also very pleased that everything is so reasonably priced, especially compared to going to see anything downtown. I hope that Mable House will bring more great concerts and festivals to the area ❤️
Life's Good IASLAM
great place for outdoor concerts. has more over head coverage than most outdoor concert venues. although it lacks in concessions, it does have a bar set up; however, you can bring your own food & beverages. The best deal are table seats. (rounds of 6). two of us went and sat at a table with a family of 4. I had the best time! Big name performers and sound is good! Free parking & plenty of security. I ordered Uber eats and was impressed that I could exit the gate to meet the driver and return with food! Great place well worth the $$!
Ayanay F
There is not enough parking for the venue and walking across the street can be dangerous because of the design of the roadway. The lawn area is on a steep hill and therefore you cannot use lawn chairs. Other than that, the sound quality was good and the venue itself was not bad. Good atmosphere.
A Miller
What an amazing experience for my first time visiting this amphitheater for the SOS concert. I was very impressed with the acoustics, seating and parking. Sitting in a covered venue can not be beat. Not to mention the royal blue linen was a nice touch on the tables. From the parking lot staff to the attendants who usher you to your seat everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Bring in a delish dish, finger foods, salads, fruit, prepared meal, pizza, desserts and adult beverages to enjoy while vibing with your favorite group. Beautiful venue for this area and conveniently closer. Looking forward to my next visit.
Nabens Vlogs
Great Jazz concert
Dawn Hector
All sestd are good even on the lawn Silk and Geniwine did what they always do; give you an amazing show
Vicki Jefferson
Enjoyed the concert had no idea how convenient everything was. Definitely will attend another now
Harvenia Parker
Last night was my first time visiting Mable House Barnes for concert Ken Ford and Gregory Porter. I felt safe, the sound system was wonderful and the performances were amazing. The landscape was outstanding. I sat in lawn section. Kudos.
Benita Duling
Such a really fun place to spend and spring/summer afternoon! We quite enjoy the free family movie series and there isn't a bad seat in the place. Parking is plentiful and a short walk from the amphitheater. Clean bathrooms and very nice staff ensure we'll be enjoying this neighborhood venue as often as possible!
Shaw
Love love love mablehouse sat was such a perfect night. The weather was awesome it wasn't a large crowd and the acts were amazing. Never a dull moment when I attend. They keep the grounds so nice and you can bring your own food and drinks
Can't beat that!!
Unimaginable PhoenixLLC
This was my first attendance here. It is a very nice outdoor theatre with plenty of covered seating. I went here for the Brazilian Day Festival. This was a pretty nice size venue to host this event. The event was nicely setup and parking was a breeze and free. I would like to attend another event here to get the full experience.
Veniese March
Very nice concert venue. Staff are very polite and professional. However, if you purchase lawn tickets. Because (lawn) is a hill. My advice is to get there early. So you can sit mid way. Which gives you a good view of the stage with less sliding. Also keep in mind the higher you go, which gives you the best view of the stage. The downside, it's almost impossible not to slide down the hill unless you position yourself, accordingly to prevent from sliding. Also, if I can make a suggestion to the owners/management of the establishment. To give your lawn customers a better experience. Please install projectors and big screens up high. So everyone can see the concert. Thx.
Raw Sol
Great place for concerts
Rayna Kay
The event (Sounds of Good Medicine concert) I attended was on September 7th at this location, and it was a beautiful first impression experience! Many people attended, but the rows weren't overstuffed; my husband and I sat in the lawn area (cheapest tickets available), which I was at first concerned about, but the view was wonderful! It had faux grass with few bugs (the area must be well-sprayed!), and outside food and drinks were accepted! Neither of us cared much for their food quality, but the theater itself and the overall experience was beyond our expectations! I'm eager to return here again next year for the 45th anniversary concert!
Sheila Ross
Enjoyed being back out there last weekend to see Norman Brown, E. Darius and Jonathan B. The area which was once just grass looks amazing! I didn't sit back there but the improvements are stunning!
Darryl Bledsoe
This was my first visit. We sat in the lawn section. It was be best lawn seating I've had at an amphitheater.
J. Emerson
Great sound! Comfortable seating. Easy to get iron and out of.
Maurya Tillman
Awesome venue!! Lawn seats are great! Ability to bring lawn chairs and coolers. Not too big so every seat is a great seat!
Loreal Clark
Went to see Chrisette Michele and Musiq Soulchild. It was awesome!
Ray Russell
Last 5 years I've seen MAYSA'... Love her, but she's enough Material where she doesn't have to involve any other artist but Herself"! We Only wanted to hear her Material...It Really is "OUTSTANDING ENOUGH"!!! NUTTIN' BUT LOVE 4'U Ms. Leak's
Greg Thomas
Sound is excellent all seats have a good view; parking assistance could be more helpful on entrance. Lawn seating is a good option( same day tickets), if the forecast says no rain otherwise choose the roof covered seats. Seats are somewhat close together keep carry-in limited. We departed early not sure how long exiting the factilty would take. 4.5 stars
Michele Noma
One of the best venues in the ATL Metro area!!!
Jamie Virkler
You can tell someone actually put some time into planning when they set this place. It's a great setup and well-thought-out. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because they didn't think about which way the sun would be setting for their evening shows. The performers are blinded by the sun and no one is in the shade during the evening. Other than that this is a five-star venue
Tracie Powell
Great concert venue. Seating area is completely covered. Stage can be clearly viewed regardless as to whether you're in the VIP area or the lawn. Clean, even the bathrooms! Ideal place for great family fun!
dexter daniels
Great venue! It was easy getting into and getting out after the show.
Gloria Jackson
Everything was right on point. I enjoyed the concert and the sound was great. It was truly a grown folks atmosphere for the Gregory Porter concert.
Sheena Young
Love love this venue! Easy access, clean bathrooms, free parking and great sound system!!!
Marland Simmons

Andria DB

Lakisha Butler
It was a great place and atmosphere for a concert! There was free parking and easy access to the venue. It was a really wonderful experience.
E Woods
This was just a stellar experience! The venue was not only clean but the sound was just phenomenal. A really great experience.
Bright Eyes
Absolutely Amazing Experience. My husband and I attend a Brian Culbertson jazz concert here at this Amphitheatre. We were astonished and amazed on how talented Brian and his band members are. Brian is the best artist in the jazz industry by far. Brian is full of energy and he is electrifying. I love how Brian allows each band member moments throughout the concert to have a solo session to captivate the audience to display their many talents. This concert was amazing and amusing. I absolutely recommend anyone to attend a Brian Culbertson concert at this place. We had an excellent experience that we will never forget.
Trina “Trina Bean” Summerour
Had a great time with my girl Shannon and Kenyetta. Listening to Lyfe genning and Tank. Celebrating chapter 46!🎉🎉🥳 …
Jameka Scott
I recently went to Silk, Ginuwine and Dru Hills show. For starters parking was not bad at all and not far from the entrance. Entering the venue was literally a breeze and the show was great to say the least. All of the artists showed up and showed out. I can't wait to go to another show.
Alan Carvel
Had a great time tonight at Movies Bands and Brews. Great cover band Hero the Band, they were great!! Look forward to going to the next one!! Would love to see some Rock and Roll bands there!!! Maybe sometime in the future.
Jessica Lynn Barber
Terrible parking but event space is perfect, nice staff, great security and amazing amphitheater
Qiana Butler
Awesome venue. I visited Mabel House last Sunday. It was clean and the lawn was perfectly manicured. Please note if you plan to sit on the lawn you CAN NOT bring chairs as the lawn is situated upon a hill. However, you are more than welcome to bring pillows, blankets and stadium seat NO LEGS. I sat on the lawn and was pleased as to how great it was. I was able to see and hear perfectly. It's a little far as I came from norcross but worth it. I'll be back.
Betty W.
I had an awesome time from beginning to end! The sound was great, we got seats (2nd row from back) and I still had a great view. Facilities were clean and I didn't experience any traffic issues. I can't wait to visit again!
Nora Brinson
Lawn seating incline was more than I expected. The sound system needs addressing also.
Leslie Martin
A very nice, covered amphitheater w/adequate parking, convenient to Cobb, Fulton & Douglas counties. If you prefer a cheaper alternative to theater seating, you can purchase lawn seating (limited view). The biggest attraction to this venue is, patrons are allowed (encouraged) to bring their own food/beverages, including alcohol. The aisles are very wide to accommodate tv/portable tables used to hold your food. Some individuals bring small candles/portable lighting, to enhance their dining experience. Other food options are available on-site.
Cee
Real friendly Staff! Good food from venue as well.
Bernidetta Herrington
Went here for a Jeffrey Osborne and Peabo Bryson concert. When we got in, there were ushers to help find seats. It was really hot when we arrived and we were sweating until the sun went down. We sat in the chairs which was good for us because of knee problems. The lawn is very steep. The concert was awesome! Both artists put on a really good show. We paid for parking and it was worth it! Getting out was not bad either. A review I read stated that this was a hidden gem. It definitely was!
William sanders
Great atmosphere. Always love we can bring our picnic baskets!!
joseph marine
The line up was perfect as were the acoustics. Parking was easy both entering and exiting. The park is small enough to be cozy and large enough to be shared. If you haven't been it should be added to your list of parks to visit.
Misty “Amber” Richardson
I really enjoyed the jazz concert that we went to. It was great.
My 20 Week Journey The Journey Continues
We celebrated my Mom Birthday the sound the lights everything was beautiful
Ayana Ages-Foster
First time attending. We came for the Lalah Hathaway concert with lawn seats. The lawn is on an incline so chairs are not allowed (for those who dont like sitting on the ground). It rained off and on but it was still nice because we had our tarp and umbrella. The venue is small and romantic...the sound was nice. We bought our own food and drinks but I noticed a small bar/restaurant. I'm definitely coming back
Eyisha Cooke
I love the Wade Ford concert series. My favorite place to be during covid. Seating is spaced to give you a sense of security.
Bergina Cruise
The amphitheater is quite an experience. Do not go when it is cold of course. I had a hard time enjoying the performance while trying to stay warm. However, I was drinking hot chocolate which kept me warm. It is a beautiful facility and very open. I was told it is known for concerts and the summer jazz series. I will have to come back during the summer season. Quite a hidden jewel in Mableton (Cobb County), GA.
Belinda Morrow
OMG!!! Had a ball.... Freddie Jackson and Jeffrey Osborne brought the house down!!!!
Kelley Wren
Great parking, seats are shaded and the location was easy to find
Gregory T Hudson Jr.
Great venue! Will definitely attend again
Beth Giles
This cast of Little Shop of Horrors ranges in age from 9 to 19. I wish I could post pictures of the stage! The grounds are lovely, the concession stand isn't bad, the Food Truck event was interesting, and the amphitheater space is fantastic. I'm looking forward to coming back for the Farmer's Market.
Sonia Edwards
Amazing amphitheater I love that you can bring your own food and drinks ⭐⭐
Allen Johnson
Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre is a great place for live music concerts. The sound system is first class and seating has been greatly improved since the days of skiing directly on the lawn. You now have a choice of covered seating or outside. You can still bring food and drinks or purchase either.
Kim Scott
I absolutely love this venue, easy in and out. Small venue, very intimate. Cooler, food, alcohol, and lawn chairs allowed. Dru Hill, Silk, and Genuwine and special guest Pastor Troy were fun!!!!!
MJ
This my favorite hangout spot during the summer! Very nice, clean and spacious milieui. It's a vibe
Nancy sellers
My husband and I visited last year for a concert with Norman Connors. We loved the concert and the atmosphere. I came today to purchase tickets. I was able to get great seat and assess the area for handicapp parking. It appeared parking for my husband's walker will make it easy for him to get to his seat.
Carolyn Grady
The Wade Ford Concert Series is wonderful. Great artists and packed crowds. Good times!
Carol J. Love
This venue is wonderful! Seating options are excellent. All the seats in the covered area have a good line of view to the stage. The "lawn" seating area has been updated and it is also another good option for open air entertainment. Free parking and easy in and out. Cobb County Police is always there at the end of the show to ensure that traffic flows out efficiently. I have been to several events here over the years (concerts, theatrical performances, movies) and it never disappoints. As a resident of Cobb, I am proud that this gem is hidden in our community. #mablehouse #cobblife
Mercedes Key
I loved the Amphitheater . Great event venue, clean, spacious and relaxing. I will be back..
Rashunda Saint-Elie
This place always has awesome concerts
Sharon Cooper (LaMarva)
Love this place. Live music! Seating even on the lawn was great! Power went out, they was on top of it & got it back on fast.
Ida Martin
Cold experience the atmosphere is great you know whether you're in the theater on demand it's a beautiful theater any of you on the line you still can see the stars you know that come get to perform but it's it's nice
Safona Billings
Nice venue...more parking space is DEFINITELY needed...would be nicer if they had a variety of food/beverage vendors for events
aderilyn owens-lee
Great venue!!! Easy parking and short walk to the venue. Went to the old school hip hop concert and had a blast!!! You can bring a cooler with food and drinks. Great vibe!!! Will be back!!!
S Michelle
Never knew this venue was there. Got to hear The Average White Band and Boney James. Loved it!
Hopefully more visits to come.
Corey Jiggetts
Nice intimate venue with a great sound system and good lighting, reminiscent of a scaled down Chastain. Seating is largely covered and now the lawn area is terraced. One of the best outdoor spaces to witness a live Jazz or R&B show in the ATL metro.
Kim Paulk
Great place for concerts. Free parking if you're early enough.
Traffic could be heavy leaving the venue though.
Rita Mccreary
I enjoy the venue. My only issue is, they need to power wash the seating area and spray for bugs. No one want to see spider webs and insects. I’ve experienced this three times this year!
Joanne Cordero
Great performances from Shelia E and Morris Day and the time.
Yaakov Levi
To many portable tables in the rolls making it a fire haz and blocking the way for others to walk thur
Black Widow
You have the option to sit in the seats or on the lawn ,either way , you will enjoy yourself.
Raymond Carson
Great concert and very roomy.....
Nacho Biz
No need to purchase VIP parking when parking is FREE! Wasted $20
rachelle richardson
This place was awesome! We chose to sit on the lawn and enjoyed the people sitting around us. The audio was amazing; although we couldn't see them artists up close we could see them on the monitor. I can't wait to go back there.
Rhonda Woods
Always a great time whenever I attend a concert here. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The volunteers are always polite, courteous and helpful! The concert lineup is outstanding!!
Humble Player
Nice seats...great outdoor entertainment
Jessica D
My old co-worker and I had Lawn seating (last min decision to go to the ahow). The don't allow regular fold out chairs--only the low ones. The incline on the lawn is a little steep but not too bad. This is a smaller Amphitheater (I'm used to HUGH ones) but it was nice. From where we were sitting I could still see the artists shockingly well. They have stairs & wheel chair access down to stage. They allowed umbrellas (unlike some other shows I'd been toi in ATL) maybe since it was going to rain *shrug* and coolers. Had a blast
Marilyn Johnson,ND
Concerts here are top shelf is really a great space you just got to get there early to get a parking space certainly enjoyed the concert the other night

Sheila E. and the Time
On an updated review,
I recently visited Mable Barnes several times now and paid for seats under the awning/roof. It was great for that hot Georgia Southern weather! I will never sit in the lawn again if I can help it. The experience was much better. I got excellent shots recently of artists that I may only see once in a lifetime--Sheila E. and The Time (Morris Day). I am already planning on going back and have tickets to a concert this Fall!
First review (originally 2 stars):
Rachelle Farrelle
I have not attended yet but purchased tickets. I will update my review after the upcoming concert. I am giving the venue 2 stars so far because 1) the lawn situation seems to be a mess with no chairs allowed. Other amphitheaters such as Wolf Creek, Chastain, Southern, Lakewood (allows a rental of chairs), and the Verizon Amphitheater in Alpharetta (allows a rental) all allow chairs. I will admit that only Centennial Park -not listed- did not allow chairs with Outkast. However, Centennial is strictly a park.
With this said, I think the venue should consider allowing chairs in the lawn area. Blankets & pillows for a jazz artist seems a bit much. However, my hope is that the remainder of the venue options will make up for this.
Virgil Pearson
Great music venue. 3/4 covered but still get open air feel. Very nice.
Catrina Jefferson
I had the best seats and the best time ever...it was absolutely a great time.
Carmen Mills
Venue is quaint. Can bring your own food and drinks. Parking is free. The seating area is covered. You can also purchase lawn seats, but you can't bring chairs, you must sit on a blanket on the ground.
Sonia Barber
We enjoy the seats….. the sound!

Peabo Bryson Showed out 68 years young handling the guitar with ease . I wasnt a fan of this place actually never knew it existed until last night . Beautiful people , Beautiful atmosphere seems like a great place to have events . The security did a great job of keeping it safe but not overwhelming ( if you know what I mean ). Three stars are really good in my books

Gardy Banks

greg harris
Great venue.
To the Layla Hathaway concert and had a good time. The sound stage is great however it seemed like they didn't have it turned correctly during the first performer because it was hard to hear her. As the night progressed, the sound got much better.
For those who have never been, this is a COVERED outdoor ampitheater. So you can still go even if it's raining. Just make sure you try and get seats toward the center as the end seats still have a chance of getting wet. I have been to Chastain ampitheater a while back and the rain totally killed the vibe. So I was pleasantly surprised that mable house was covered.
Felecia Madison
Great concert! Great seats!!
Carlos Galvan
Best kept secret in Metro Atlanta. Great outdoor music venue in the 'burbs, comfortable seating with good leg room, canopy over all seats, good sound, own food and beverages can be brought in or limited concession stand available, sufficent restroom facilities, handicap accessible, friendly staff. Biggest plus: people come to actually listen to the music...no pretentious people who only come to talk and socialize. Recommendation: food trucks, install those big ceiling fans to move the air in the seating area.
Marcia Skeen

Jen Paschal
This was a great venue. We sat at a table near the stage, plenty of space to dance and move. Coming in was uncongested and leaving was not a mess like some places...organized and flowing well.
Patricia Williams
Had a great and enjoyable time. Loved the covered venue. Would like something done for the lawn folks. The rain came down hard and we truly felt very bad for those on the lawn. Give this some thought.
J J
Excellent venue! Saw Jeffrey Osborne yesterday and it was a Great Show!! Performance was amazing! He is a true artist! Old School is the **it!! 😄 …

MHBA is a hidden jewel located in Cobb County. Favored among local thesbians it's THE venue to see who's up and coming in the world of theatre whether it be middle and high schoolers who are making their way or college students who return home over the summer the progression of advancement is displayed here over months and years and is a veritable who's who on the road to stardom. The sheltered outdoors stage has a culture, you can buy a table and invite friends for a intimate gathering or sit in the stands and take it all in. Kids love to roll down hills all the way back and as long as it doesn't get out of hand it's totally acceptable during intermission. Sound quality is perfect and local musicians execute flawless skill. The show must go on at MHBA even deep into winter where theatre goers bundle up with tag along blankets and hot chocolate from the concessions stands below. Facilities are clean and parking is free and so check online for the next show and treat yourself to this sweet southern find.
Dorthea Alston
Awesome...not a bad seat in the House...
Audraine Jackson
Roomy and easy to access seating. Most amphitheaters are designed too cramped to move.
John Patterson
Really good location for a concert. Comfortable seats with the option to bring your own.
Marquel Smith
The ole school concert was amazing
Douglas Satcher
Great Concert Venue. Could use Better Parking
Casey Watts
Free movies during the summer and you can bring your own snacks. The movies are kid friendly and they do offer concessions (pricey tho). Before the movie the kids can do some activities and crafts.
Chere L. LeViner
Attended my granddaughter's promotion to 6th grade from Riverview Elementary School. We had a good time, and it was well attended...A lot of scholarships to camp for some of the students, and Honor recognitions awarded.

Our experience was just great. Our young kids could get up as needed without disturbing people but still got to begin their exposure to theatrical arts.
Hoyt Nunnally
Great place for a concert. Be sure to buy the guaranteed seating so you are not in the sun

For an outdoor amphitheater, I was shocked by how many seats were under the canopy. Pleasantly surprised. Only the grassy area is uncovered.

Deborah Carter
My first time there. I had a awesome time.
Eduardo Smith
This place was wonderful to view a concert and I will go again hopefully sometime soon!!!
Ms K-Love
It is ok...As long as the weather permits as far as in the weather being completely clear overall I guess, but this place is built very Differently??🤔...its like you are half inside(center area with stage is completely covered and has seats, then the sides are completely exposed as in outside. When I went there, there was pollen everywhere, all over the seats and all so everyone on that day was covered in pollen and seen a few bugs as well, btw unfortunately I have severe allergies so I will Not be returning there due to so many outside things that may interupt your experience. I prefer places that are inside only.
Venus DelSol
Loved the venue and parking was seamless. Definitely need to improve the food selection.

Not enough bathroom stalls available in ladies and mens room. There was a very long line for both as a result. The music volume was barely audible at times. Staff was friendly though.

It's is a great way to watch a good movie outside with family! With places to sit as if it was a regular movie theater, or an alternative would be having a picnic on a grass.
Brooks Gunn
The theatre looks nice, but the acoustics are not the best. It often feels much too big for the performances.
