Reviews of Valley Performing Arts
The productions of this community theater are nearly always outstanding. The current performance of MISERY is no exception: it is excellent. Anyone who enjoys live performances should buy season tickets to Valley Performing Arts. They are low cost and the plays you will attend are wonderful.
Awesome experience. We have been to several plays in different venues and this is among the best.
Very funny, great actresses and actors, I want to thank you for letting me sit in the black chair I just had knee surgery and I couldn't handle sitting seat 202 B. Very kind of prettiest people.
What a great show! Thank you for bringing the holiday spirit! 🎄 …
My family & I have been to several plays here. We recently went to a performance of the play, "Mousetrap" & it was very good. It's not a large venue, so regardless of where you're seated, you're close to the action. They also have dinner theater performances, I haven't been to any of these yet, but I definitely intend to. Plays usually run for a couple weeks at a time, with Friday & Saturday evening shows & a Sunday matinee. If you live in the valley, I highly recommend checking it out!
My daughter participated in a two-week summer theater camp at Valley Performing Arts Center. She thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very supportive of the kids and put on a very well-done production for their little show at the end of the course in their cozy theater, complete with an accompanying pianist, a full array of costumes and props, pro lighting, etc. The kids were obviously having a great time, and considering the rapid pace of preparation, they were well-prepared and showed little timidity typical for school-age kids, which I took as a sign of the excellent encouragement and coaching of the instructor. An excellent experience for our family.
A nice little theater with sensible management. Lobby is covered in pictures and handbills of prior productions. Snack assortment is tasty. You can bring your coffee & snack back into the theater with you, too! Bathroom is clean and in good shape. No need for amplifiers on this stage because you can hear the actors just fine without mics. Not a bad seat in the house, I dare say!
What a great little theater! I am very impressed with the plays I have seen. Very entertaining! I recommend the current play "The Velveteen Rabbit." Such a cute play. The only problem was some of the performers were a little too quiet.
I Loved the rendition of this Shakespeare play, the Actors and Actresses were unique and played their parts so well! I laughed throughout! Lots of Comedy. My Favorites were the Moth Fairy(my grand-niece, yes Im biased :) ) and the young man who played Hermia's strict Father, He was Fabulous!!! A must see folks, their Matinee is at 1 pm today, August 4th. Support these young Thespians, they deserve your Applause!
We went to White Christmas. Such a lovely awesome show. They included authentic costumes it was Beautiful, fun, and professional. Had a awesome time!!
Community minded and so fun!
Every seat is a good view of the stage. The seats are comfortable. The foyer offers posters of past presentations and a counter with drinks and pastries.
These plays are so much fun. The actors do a great job and are very approachable. All volunteers!! Thanks for supporting the arts!
In a town full of people who's main aspiration is owning a lifted, smog belching 5 mpg truck, it's comforting to see such a dedicated community theater endeavoring to bring the arts to a place where such things are usually looked on with disdain. A small flower in the desert.
Grew up doing productions here and every show has an amazing cast and director. Highly recommend summer camps and their shows!
I loved it, I went for the first time and saw "white Christmas ". It made me smile and laugh. Exceptional actors and actresses.
Seating was tight but the atmosphere was great and the show, Miracle On 34th Street, was well done.
The only place in the Valley for live performances. There are also some very talented actors that have participated in productions here.
Always have a blast attending the performances. Top notch productions. I highly recommend VPA.
First time to Valley Performing Arts. Just saw Nightfall. Really enjoyed the show and the theatre.
Just saw "The Comedy of Errors". Great show!
Awesome!
It is the only place in the valley that does theater that I know of and they are very community based on picking actors for their parts
Small but comfortable venue with great atmosphere.
Old school. Really brings a good feeling watching classic shows revamped. And some new/original ones too!
This was my favorite play. They are unbelievable for amateurs.
Nice. Good close view of the stage. Good sound. Good lighting. Easy parking.
Nothing like the feel of a community theater, it’s a good place to go catch a show
This is a great place to enjoy a night out wether its with the family or a night out with ur friends. Not expensive. Causual. Fun.
It's a good small theatre with amateur performers.
Small theater with great acting and directors. Improvements would be in sound quality.
Mousetrap was fabulous. Great job by the cast and crew.
It's pretty cool, probably cause I'm in the play going on at this time 😎 …
