We have been there when it was wall to wall people that was so horrible you had to walk sideways just to move on all floors. We went at 8am this time and it was awesome. All the stuff wasn't open yet but we had our run of the park and a front row parking spot in lot #1. No waiting in line for bathroom time was nice. True to NY fashion the baby changing station was even complete with graffiti in the men's room. If you have never been and want to see the falls go early in the morning and you will be much happier! By the time your walking to far everything will be open.

One of the best places I’ve ever been to. The key places to visit in Niagara falls state park are the observation tower, Prospect Point and three falls. The trails from the Niagara Gorge discovery center lead to other viewpoints as well. I liked the calmness of Niagara city as well. However the cost in American side is way more than Canadian side. If you have the option, they may want to stay over in Canadian side.

Amazing view! Highly recommend going after 7 on a weekday. There was no crowd, parking was free, and the walk was really minimal to see the scenery! Amazing views that will forever hold a spot in your memory.

It was better then I expected, it wasn't crowded that late fall day that we went but some of the vendors were closed up already., It is an amazing amount of water that is flowing and I whished I could see it when they divert water to the Canadian side for power generation.We did do the maid of the mists tour and while it's a tad pricy I guess you can do it once just so you can say that you did. You get wet and take home a blue paucho, (the Canadian version is red, go figure!) Theres plenty else to see, do espacially walk over to goat island and get an upstream view on the area and experiance just how fast the water s moving.

It’s a never ending mystery as to how this place continues to excite you no matter how many times you visit. Their Cafeteria needs some good look. The staff were extremely rude and need to be more customer friendly and the food wasn’t great too..

I got parking $15 for all day. Near to Niagara Falls and easy access to going at boat area. If you want to parking this place need to reach out before 9am.

This parking lot is very busy in tourist season. Visitors have to wait for a place. Parking is not free. You have pay fees before you enter. Paying is easy, pay cash or by card in entrance. Location is easy to find using google map. Map directly take you to the parking lot 1 even from out side the city. Niagara Falls state park starts from here.

It was our first time seeing it and this gives you a very close up feel of it. We were slightly confused as to where to go at first, but if you go to Goat Island, you will find information and viewing points.

We arrived on Christmas Eve. It was quiet. We enjoyed parking at park 1 in the morning and went back same evening for light show around 9 pm. There was no payment required to park for same day. So basically we had great view for $10 both day and night. I think it is the best destination for outdoor travel under current Covid situation. Also it is dog-friendly too!! Only sad thing was we couldn’t get any Niagara shirt or magnet because all the gift stores were closed that day.

They have total 3 parking lots and interestingly the accept the parking pass taken at one location in the other location. You can take out the vehicle in between and come back with the same parking pass again. The parking is regularly cleaned and well maintained. Currently they are charging 15$/day for parking.

A little pricey for a short visit. Budget for parking, Maid of the Mist, Observation Tower and Cave of the Mist if you are interested in them all. A lot of walking is possible. There is a shuttle trolley but not well advertised. Give yourself plenty of time

A great and safe place to park your car while visiting Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. It cost $15 when I went a few weeks before posting this review. You get a ticket that allows you to park in any NY State Park Parking Lots on the same day of purchase. It does not allow for overnight parking and must be displayed on your dashboard. When I visited, you could not pay with cash.

Convenient location, short walk to the falls. The park is massive with great views of nature. There is also a trolley that can shuttle you to different parts of the park. Pictures do not do this location justice, you have to see it for yourself.

Best parking lot in Niagara. Enjoyed the full day parking for 15$ only(Weekend and Holidays). But it tends to get full fast. We arrived there at 9am and it was almost full.

Parking lot states free first couple of minutes, but charges you the full $30 dollars. This is a scam. When you call in then lie stating it is written every where but its not. If you enter in front of the visitor center you do not see any sign stating this and are force to pay or get towed. I recommend using the two free lots and walking (it a walk but at $30 for 24 hours when you are only there for 5 -10 minutes is not worth is). This makes me not want to come back to this area. Update: after calling and complaining, the lady on the phone told me it was up to the manager. Took a while, but they did refund me the whole amount. Guess I can’t be mad any more.

Be aware the visitor center is closed (November 2021) so if you need to use the restroom you have to walk across Goat Island.

Good place to park, very near to the Visitor center and Maid of the mist ticket counter. It's a 10 $ fee for the entire day and it was free for me when I came after 7 Pm for the fireworks and laser show.

Park here for Maid of the Mist or the lookout. Scenic walk to horseshoe falls/terrapin point, possibly a bit far if you have mobility issues.

It was a great place to be able to park close to the falls. Be sure to save your ticket and return to any of their lots at night to falls illuminated and watch the fireworks.

Activity for children ..... There are Parks, a train that travels. Schedules ... Do not observe them Quality vs Price .... It's worth it .... It is worth it, there are several observation points and you cross the bridge over the river where the falls later fall. You can pay for the boat (25 per person) that takes you near the falls or pay for a walk where the water falls on you.
