Reviews of Santa Monica Beach Parking
$1 parking per hour in the smaller parking lot on the left, maximum 2 hours. It's a good deal if you're able to find a spot here and only looking to stay for that short period of time. Should be more than enough time to walk around the pier and get a short feel for the area
Arrived in my camper van to an almost empty lot at 7am on a Saturday Apr 2nd and fee covered ALL day and until 2am. One of many lots between Santa Monica Pier and Venice but closest to the pier and MOST crowded. Was pretty full before noon when I got back from a stroll to Venice Beach for a nap. Woken several hours later by Hare’ Krishna’s and other amplified proselytizers messages. Packed by mid afternoon. Leaving was a bit tricky. Tough pullout area causes backups leaving. Took about 15 minutes for flow to exit at 4pm.
Paid $7/day on Veterans Day. Some of the cheapest parking yet!
Minus a star for the city of Santa Monica failing to clearly post the cost to park anywhere online. Their pdf of parking lots and out of date prices isn't cutting it.
Easy Parking lot direct to the Santa Monica Beach and pier! Day ticket 7$
Closest public parking for the Pier. 15$ fee for full day till 2am. Other further parking charges 10$ anyway. This one requires very little walk. Plenty of parking spots. Easy access on the weekdays.
Beautiful place for everyone in the family!
Large parking area but finding a space during the sunset hours would be a bit painful and time-consuming. Arrive early if possible.
I went here while trying to go to the pier. I got shot at by a man, now my car has a broken window. The business should really pay for the damages. I also got my car towed and it was sent to a junk yard and crushed, despite the fact my Great Dane was in the car for 20 days straight (don't worry, he had food and water in the summer heat so he didn't die of starvation). Really horrible service, I really cant believe they would let this happen.
Before noon, weekdays, it is easy to park. $15 per day. As of June 15th 2021, Stairway to pier is under conatruction. Pier paking as well.
Before pick hours, Move your car closer spot to exit.
It took over 1 hour only to get out of the parking lot.
Took 10 mins to move 1 inch until police car came to contol.
Great price, restrooms are right under the bridge and the beach is next to it.
It’s $15 for parking right now but that’s for all day (til 1:59am technically). But you can hang out at the beach and also visit the pier. At the end of our beach visit we gave our parking pass to someone else to use.
If you like the beach ,Santa Monica is the place ,it's packed with entertainment, for the whole family , restaurants, the arcade and all kinds of cool stuff
Big Parking spaces but expensive. We were supposed to stop only for a while to take photos at the beach but parking fee only could be paid per day. So we didn't Park. The staff was good, asking me to drive out from the exit without paying.
Crowdy but we arrived on a Saturday and sunny day. Found a spot. Pricing was 15$ per car. What is actually pretty nice and a good deal. Parking right next to the pier and beach.
$15 to park here, spaces are very tight, extremely busy
Pretty large parking, but parking spot is very compact. The price is much lower compare to the fancy one in the main street
Nicole S. Was very nice and friendly, need to have more workers like her. This is my 2nd time here and I have not had a bad experience yet. Great job Guys 😁👍 …
Good value quick service easy to operate machine as well if using card. 😉 …
It was our first time parking in this place. There are NO signs that say they are CASH ONLY. It’s $15 flat rate.
Right on the waterfront..an easy stroll to the pier
Can't go wrong with $15 parking.
Really cheap during week days
Parking is alright. Everything in LA is paid parking unfortunately
$1 per hour for up to 2 hours. Hard to get a better deal!
$7 Flat Rate fee and you are steps away from the ocean and the pier.
$10 for parking, cash only. They do have ATMs available.
The price is good. But just like everywhere in the world, parking lots are not well organized
Parking is really big and you will always find a place to park your car
Safe parking at the foot of the pier
Great place
Pricey and crowded.
$15 is a small thank you price to pay for being this close to the beach
Thanks for helping me find my caro.
it was really crowded but at least we found a spot
Long line to get in but plenty of spots
Price depends on the day
Very near to beaches
Conveniently close
Horrible place to park
A lot of parking
Nice and clean place
Super
Crowded
If you want to go around the parking lot next to the sea stall, it is easy to turn right at the previous intersection and go around a bit more
It's right next to the pier, and it's good because it's adjacent to Santa Monica Beach. A $15 prepayment is required upon entry.
Parking under the Santa Monica pier, we found it expensive to go only for a short time but if you use it all day it's a good price. Without a doubt, its greatest virtue is being so close to the area to visit.
There are many obsessions for parking and many restaurants but you have to be careful when selecting the parking lot since they tell you a price and it really is another one that I saw in downtown, Hollywood, alleys.

I love all the peace that this place gives me. Connecting with the sea and its beauty is the best
For those who want to stay in this area, it's fantastic. 10 dollars all day.
The location is good as it is right in front of the pier. If you leave the parking lot and then enter the parking lot, you will be asked to reissue the parking ticket.
Right at the start of Park Santa Monica. It's pretty wide. $15 per day.
kids love it
Practical, close to everything, cheap (very cheap)... what more could you ask for???👏👏👏
If you go in the morning, there is plenty of parking available.
Easy parking.
The splendor of the place
