Reviews of North Hollywood Station Park & Ride
10 years ago it was beautiful. Now it's beautiful but it's dirty and smells really bad. I wish all the trains would get a very deep cleaning and would get sanitized. It's very sad to see it in that state.
Park Your Kar for FREE, Rail the Night away, to Return & Safely Pass-Out in Your Ride💋 …
Last stop on the red line
Pretty big station inside
Needs more security and police. It is nice to have vendors available. A map showing where to catch the buses would be appreciated. I have never seen the solar charger work. A free self cleaning bathroom is available upstairs at street level.
Only bummer is the city "issuing" monthly passes. There are non existent and you will be placed on a perpetual waiting list. Best to come before 8am to find a parking spot, if not there are a few meters right outside the lot that permit 10hr parking. Come early and you'll have a spot without a doubt.
This is a cool spot for transit. There's the Red Line, Orange Line and a host of various other Local and Express lines that come to this location. There are several maps that can assist you with your travels.
Unfortunately there is not a person or kiosk available to assist you out with your travels
Pretty big transportation hub of the Valley. Its nice and with a bit of knowledge of the transportation system (Metro), its very easy to navigate. You have the Subway Red Line that connects you to the rest of LA, the Orange Line Bus Line that connects you to the Valley, and the bus depot. Where it connects you to the nooks and crannies of the Valley including small municipals like Santa Clarita and Burbank.
It's a park and ride. Not much to it. There are cops on patrol sometimes and contract security for the lot. That's good because there are lots of desperate looking people around...some sleeping, some doing other things very clise by. This is normal for the area but might make some people uneasy. Not glamorous in any way but it beats driving in LA traffic.
last stop on the red line (or the first stop?). if you're hungry, get a tamale outside! pretty clean station, but like most other stations, there are some homeless people hanging around, but they don't bother you.
Red orange and Metro Bus line, sorry. Very pretty much at Transit point you can go anywhere in the valley. 1 bus switches run 24 hours to 224, Redline station is pretty decent clean, escalator and elevator in both entrance,
Red line train station is very convenient for money saving traveling. However it is kind of an inconvenience with various vendors taking space. It's also somewhat dirty. But I'm glad they're building a underground tunnel that connects redline to orange line without having to cross the street.
Is this a great place that there are a lot of restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings big wangs Tokyo delves out of the gym 24 Hour Fitness in the general area and it's also just a great place to go and have a coffee at the train station Plaza they have after the Orange Line stop and they have an Ojo building if you're looking to move into an area I highly consider the golf shop that has the ball in the building there's like I know ho 22 building that's close by but all around General North Hollywood Station Park and Ride is it a good place to be at when you're passing through but not a place to be hanging out because there are a lot of shady individuals out there and there are a lot of shady people that are around but I gave it a 5-star rating because of transportation is so cheap and affordable for those that are on a budget that want to save and become a success in this life
It's beautiful. The new architecture is lovely. The station is a bit sketchy but it's a nice urban feel. There is a panera, coffee bean, and fish dish close by. There's a lady who always sells great tamales, chips, hotdogs and much more outside the station mechanical stairs.
Sometimes there's a whole lotta people during rush hour. Not to mention, the transients. Nonetheless, since I was in high school, I used this station wholeheartedly and maximized it.
It's been renovated so it's not as shoddy as before, but it is public transportation.
So don't expect luxury.
Yup. It's a train station! Yup! It's in North Hollywood!
This is a great place to commute to Hollywood and Downtown LA without getting caught in LA traffic. Since I live in the valley, I use the train to see my friends in Downtown LA without worry or concern about getting caught in traffic. It's really cheap too.
Plus, if you just want to use the train to explore Los Angeles, this is a great station. There's tons of really great shops by this station. There's so many cool things to see and do on Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood. I highly recommend this station to anyone. Plus, it's pretty clean overall, and it's $2.50 a ride, and you can't beat that!
I appreciate the access to the Orange Line station from the subway, but the place is always so dirty. I feel like I need a shower after leaving there. I recommend hand sanitizer at every entrance/exit!
This is a crucial hub for travel from the San Fernando Valley to several key locations to the South, Southeast and Southwest. It runs fairly regularly (on average about once every 10-12 minutes, and it's typically running well after midnight). Always check this, however, against other connections as they might stop running before the Red Line to North Hollywood does.
The most egregious drawback I've found is the amount of time it takes to get to the station via public transit. I live less than 15 minutes away by car, yet it can take up to two hours to get there by bus.
I mean it's NoHo it's the last stop for the red line or the 1st depending on how you look at it.. Depending on the time the ones(cops) are all over you can protecting people orrr some may add they're giving individuals a hard time.. Also a few weirdos hang out occasionally! Plenty of food in the area a great gym and the art district so no complaints and I might add we're all weird in a way!
Tough to find a parking spot without a permit. You'll need to be there before 6:30, M-F. It may be easier to just buy the permit. There is some parking meter spots in the neighboring area if you can't find a spot.
They have a great cafe there right next to the orange line drop off. You can take buses to Santa Clarita
Also can take the subway to downtown, LA, and Hollywood. A great transit hub
Quick way to access the train to Downtown. The Laemle there is really quite nice. Small, cheap matinee. There's a coffee shop at the end of the orange line. Post Office is across the street.
It's a Metro facility patrolled by private security and LAPD an LAPD officer actually took time out to explain to me where a bus stop was in reference to my trip friendly helpful amazing
I'm a big fan of subway riding, as I'm from Boston. LA's system is not the greatest, as there are only limited areas you can reach without also riding buses (of which I am not a fan). I work in many locations, so I only ride when it makes sense. That being said, the North Hollywood station is a pretty good example of the stations throughout the city. The recently opened up a second entrance, so folks can get to the train without crossing the very busy Lankershim Boulevard. Trains usually run every 10-15 minutes (less on weekends and at night). There is a lot of parking, but it fills up early. I usually end up at the meters on the street, which cost about $4 for the day (cheaper than parking downtown). If you're coming up from the south there are a number of places for food and drinks nearby in the NoHo area.
Elevator is always not clean
Too many homeless here, but it's a great connecting location for lots of different transportation needs . Can literally go anywhere from here. Always has guards or PoPo which I like.
Hub of all valley trains and buses. Security is plentyful and the transportation is rewarding. You can catch the orange line, red line, and a host of other buses as well as the Santa Clarita transit.
North Hollywood RedLine Station to Metropolitan Bus Stops around the San Fernando Valley, to Santa Clartia, Blue Bus ahead to Bob Hope Airport as you ahead from North Hollywood RedLine Station to Union Station where you go to Metropolitan walk around head over to grab a bite to eat around Union Station in Los Angeles and enjoy the atmosphere always you Travel to Gold Line head to Pasadena where you could travel to Metrolink or Catch the Grayhound, Amtrak's or stop by Restaurants inside the Union Station and travel around California with friends, family and Love one enjoy the environment around you. 🔮☯️🅰️Ⓜ️🎄🎋🎉🎊☯️🎍🎎🎁🎑🎍🎍🎍☯️🎍😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
Very crowded. I drove around for a while until I found a meter on the street. Super convenient and an easy few steps to the metro. Just be prepared to have limited parking.
Well park, pay and ride. LA used to offer free parking to metro riders but now charges $3/24hrs.
This place could be cleaner! But then again its a public station with thousands of people passing by daily.
It can be kind of sketchy at night! Usually its well patrol by police and undercover cops. But once in a while no cops within sight!
At This Station You Are Connected To The Valley, Hollywood And Los Angeles. You Made Park And Ride The Trains And Buses. The Red Line And Orange Line Connect Along With Other Numerous Bus...
Close to coffee shops, unique bakeries, theatre and the media center.
Park for free. Hop on. Get off the Red Line at 7th and Metro. Party in LA. Return. $3-5 is far cheaper than parking and no traffic.
Interesting Lee enough, there was a screening for a TV show on Netflix (911) which took place earlier today. The associates and staff at this location are friendly and professional as well.
Helpful to avoid traffic in LA. I wish they offered multiple stalls with cleaner restrooms is the only issue.
this place is just fine.
Convenient for us to get to and subway gets to downtown quick and easy. Might want to uber here since parking can be difficult
There is a bathroom, a free public bathroom! Bring your own toilet paper
Just like any other train station in LA. It's pretty much a transportation hub to get to point A to Point B in LA.
Trains always on time. If you live close to this subway system use it. It beats the traffic nearly 100% of the time.
Parking is free if you can get a spot otherwise across the road it is $3 for all day. Quick and easy to get around LA from here.
It serves a purpose, but if you're getting jettisoned on the Orange...no protection from the elements , so be prepared...and try to get a good seat
A very good Train Station. Able to get anywhere in the city from here. With plenty of Security Officers present.
It's a cool place and it's actually very nicely decorated, just sometimes it smells weird..
Great for transportation, i wish they would do more abou the 'homeless' outside
IT'S Like the Cross Center of the World in NoHo: from Jazzy Federal Bar/ Independent Street Vendors/ Colorful Assortments of Ppl(?) and Yes, Johns.... There's Ho's!!!
The paid parking stations is new to me, but it's still a valuable transportation hub.
End/ beginning of the red line and I'd you use the west exit it leaves you right at the orange line. East side has parking. Not sure if you have to pay for it. I have no cell signal once im downstairs
Lots of parking, convenient access to downtown. Very reasonable prices at $3 an hour.
This was the second time i was there. It's not very complicated or confusing. Everything can be found easily and people working there are helpful and friendly.
Looks good and not crowded even though it's being renovated
It is so convenient connection with other buses plus it is nice place to hangout with friends.
Always a nice place to visit. Too bad that Coffee Bean left the area.
So convenient to get to any bus just so you can get where you need to go
I love the end of the Red Line . To get a cup of coffee or just food , lunch or dinner .
My Daughter lives in North Hollywood There are so many different places to eat, grab a beer, and something to smoke
Convenient way to get downtown, drop someone off or pick someone up from Red Line terminus
Parking is only 3 bucks, we were there late at night a bunch of shifty looking people were there, we walked very fast to our car.
The station is good, but the amount of grubby people loitering and smoking weed is pretty ridiculous.
What more to say than the station is kept clean and there are numerous bus connections available
Best access to NOHO arts district metro red line. Driving in LA is just silly.
Its a hub to get you where you need to go quickly. You can choose from the underground train or buses to get you where you need to go.
They need to reduce the number of permit spots. They also need to provide charging stations for electric vehicles.
Great spot for connections to Burbank, Hollywood, North-Hollywood, Sepulveda, San-Fernando, Downtown-LA, Universal-Studios, etc
This place always seems busy. However everytime I travel there. I'm never disappointed.
It's the station & bus hub with connections to the metro Red and Orange line & the Santa Clarita #757 commuter bus and Burbank as well
100 percentages is plug-ins for original settings on fast charger ladwp
Has wall sockets and a USB outlet onto charge your phone in. Extremely rare these days.
Standard parking lot. $2/day cost. Has been cleaned up a lot but there's still a lot of vagrancy and druggies.
Elevators always stink but plenty of parking in lot and easy pick-up
Freshly renovated, before getting to street level there's the option to get to the West side or the East side on the way up.
The best of the best, beautiful and renovated location making comfortable for the daily commute.
This station connects you to the blue line and also the union station in downtown
The NoHo station links people to different places to go. Local busses are also available.
Much better than fighting traffic or finding parking in DTLA or Hollywood
Renovated station, also added a tunnel to catch Orange-line quicker than ever.
Clean fairly easy navigate anchor connection to bus and train
My favorite redline station. Easy to maneuver. Plenty of parking
501 bus to Pasadena is amazing. Get downtown quick.
Very ghetto but if you need to go then just go..Bring some headphones to ignore bums
and con artists.
Unfortunately, the escalator does not work almost 2-3 days every week.
It's the subway to downtown. Hold your bladder cause there's no bathrooms.
Buses to Chatsworth and Canoga Park available from here at regular intervals.
A little dirty but a great way to commute, fast and easy.
Convenient parking, great way to travel from the valley to hollywood, downtown, or beyond.
Can pretty much get anywhere in the la area from here
Large parking lot, no charge to park, easy to find; takes the hassles of traffic and parking out of a trip downtown.
Red line train station is here as well as a few overpriced vendors...orange line trains are also here...clean station...overcrowded...dirty
I really love this station. The artwork inside is beautiful.
Want to travel without your car.i would say take orangeline.i use for DODGERS GAMES
Often smells of urine and not nearly enough security, but gets you places.
Ride everyday monday-friday to my job. Always on time
Very clean lot's off people use it to travel to their destination i to use it
Gets you to where you have to go. Just avoid being alone and traveling late night.
Not the safest or cleanest Metro Station around.
Gets you where you need to go and there's extra ride share services too
The simplest way to travel from NOHO to Union Station period.
To my surprise the were having some sort of fair last weekend...pretty dope
Lots of parking but best spots are usually not 🆓 …
Great location and good park to meet people
No Taxis, but if you fall asleep, you won't get jacked.
Sorry, i can't remember what i did there already. Nothing disturbing, hopefully.
Convenient for those headed to the Hollywood spots like Pantages theater where parking is expensive.
To much pupi and pipi and the plataform when we waith for the train
It's the fastest way to get where you're going.
Very good and safe place for your vehicles.
Train station. But they need to hire security over night to protet people's bikes.
Convenient, large parking lots, many connections, lots to do near by
Busy but a great connection point to many cities.
Good place to make connections. Uncomfortable and crowded
Beautiful place, meet alot of new people
It's gross and too many people on a busy weekday.
Easy to navigate this station.
I love Ono's Hawaiian BBQ
Metro Station. Clean. Staffed. With phone charger kiosk.
No more waiting in traffic coming over from anywhere south of North Hollywood.
Connection to the Orange Line was easily accessible.
Open, lots of connections and vendors on site. Lots of restaurants and shops near by
Love using the redline to get to downtown
well secured with protection of the police no parking though :(

Good service the red line. It's just bad. K ay. Indijentes asleep in the seats. They don't go. They are only asleep on the train
This station connects you with all the bus lines for the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley area.
