This is a much cheaper parking option for The Ilikai Hotel. It does feel a little sketchy and there is obvious signs of vehicle break ins - fair amount of broken window glass on the ground. If I return to Oahu, I might try renting and returning a car each day to avoid parking fees overnight. I also overpaid to ensure I wasn't rushed to get to the car, but the tow truck drivers monitor regularly and it seemed better than the hassle of risking a tow.

Why would you park anywhere else?
When you are staying in hotels near this side of Waikiki, you have to park here. You pay anywhere from $40-$60 per day to self park or valet park at your hotel. If you want to save some money, park at the harbor parking for $1 per hour and save money. You can park overnight and the limit is 24 consecutive hours. The area also has adequate lighting to make it feel safe. I haven't seen the parking lot full yet so you shouldn't have to worry about finding parking. There is a code posted around the parking lot you can scan with your phone to pay, it is super fast. If you don't mind walking to your hotel, this is the way to go.

$1/hour public parking on the edge of Waikiki, behind Hilton Hawaiian Village. Much cheaper than hotel parking. Pay at the station and put the receipt on your dashboard. Make sure you park in the public parking area, not the permit area.

Great spot to park if you are staying at hotels nearby here (i.e. - Hilton Hawaiian Village), $1/hr~!! Parked overnight a few times, paid like $10~14 depending on your plans. Beats the $40~50 self/valet parking at the hotels!!!

This place is perfect for overnight parking if you don't want to pay the ridiculous overpriced hotel parking fees! It would be cheaper to pay for 24hr parking and an uber to and from your hotel, rather than pay $51 for hotel self parking. It's a $1 an hour. Spots are always available.

if u r traveling here and wanna avoid the $50/day parking in all those resorts, this is for you. $1/hour up to 24 hours, also across the street there max 6 hours free street parking. quite a lot of parking lots and pretty safe

$1 per hour, much cheaper than the $49 per night in nearby Hilton hotel ($59 for valet). However, the parking payment machine appears to be malfunctioning and refuse to take any credit card, despite saying either CC or cash is accepted. Our card was declined, and we saw another customer experienced the same thing. They support mobile/phone payment too (the latter charges a small $0.3 fee per transaction). We ended up paying with cash at the machine, just to save the hassle. That’s my only complaint for this place.

We spent 5-day vacation in this area, and parking fee is extremely expensive. I have to say that we are lucky to find this parking lot. It's $1 per hour which is way cheaper than others, and always could find a spot. Perfect parking lot!
