We went to Penn & Beech Candle Co. They validated our parking, but when we left 2 hours later we still had to pay. The number at the parking garage said the parking validation is good for only 2 hours. But it was in a good spot.

Convenient parking at a decent fee. There is a sign that says to pay before returning to your vehicle, but this is likely an old sign that hasn't been removed. You can definitely pay as you drive your vehicle out.

It's expensive, same price on Sunday (but at least you're likely to find parking here), the lanes and particularly turns/corners are narrow, the charging is on the 4th floor (1 below the top uncovered floor), the parking for the charging stations is an additional $1 per hour (whether you get 6 or 3 kWh), and finding the information to report any of the broken stuff is hard and sucks to do when someone is stuck behind you if you have a problem at the gates. It is conveniently close to many businesses.
Overall, the parking situation in the Short North area has been made so much worse by government/business association decisions that I would rather not go here if there's another location that has better parking. (And of course there's not great bus shelters either so there's not even a reasonable alternative.) Instead of adding free or affordable parking, they converted most all parking into payment required areas but didn't even add machines to be able to pay for it. Instead you have to download their app if you have a smartphone and are willing to download something you shouldn't have to.
Update: I have decided to give 2 stars back from my initial review to this business because it is not their fault that the Short North business association has completely unclear validation. They also listened to suggestions I had and seem genuinely interested in making their parking experience better (as much as feasible, obviously there's not much to be done now about the narrow lanes). They recently installed convex mirrors on the 2 lowest levels that make it a little less nerve wracking to come around the blind corner. Given that the Park Columbus experience has now been made even more trash (you can't pay by phone anymore through an automated system, you have to make an account and pay a $5 fee in addition to your parking because they don't feel like having pay systems in all the zones now requiring payment), this garage isn't as bad by comparison.

Came to Columbus for a short vacation ... stayed at this garage while visiting in the Short North. Fantastic garage ... well lit, clean, awesome neighborhood, short walk from everything you’d need. Will stop here again.
