Reviews of Chicago History Museum Parking (SP+ Parking)
I had a great experience there! Learned a lot but still think they should offer a little bit more (hence 4 stars). A plus was that they honor an initial value of my expired Groupon. I could only spend about 3 hours there so will be planning on coming back to watch more pictures from Chicago Fire etc.
The attendant was very nice and asked if I needed help right away. Lot is big and easy access to the area around the lot. Got a great rate on Spothero as well. Win Win
Great and it's free, hard to find parking
Reduced to $10 all day if you visit the museum. Then we took the bus downtown for $1. What a deal.
This garage has a good amount of space and is easy to enter, exit, and access. Underground parking is very helpful during bad weather or on hot days. I have a pass here, which makes it easy to park around the clock and for as much time as necessary. A very helpful resource.
Chicago loves to clip you for $25 for just a few hours of parking. Use the bus. Lot was fine with spaces available.
Great place to park if visiting the Chicago Hiatory Museum ($10/day with validation pass from the Museum). If visiting the Van Gogh Immersive Experience, visit that venue and the Museum and save on parking! Also, Lincoln Park Zoo is not far away...
Easy in and easy out. You have to cross busy LaSalle street and the walk is about a block..20 to park for less than 3 hours but I'd say it's worth it especially if you get the museum tickets for a deal on Groupon.
We park here on Sundays to get to church - easy to use. Only downside is that sometimes the wait to leave the lot is long - not really their fault! Close and convenient for anything in Lincoln Park, the beach, and the zoo.
Surprisingly easy to park and pay. Except one of the pay stations is broken. Close to Hotel Lincoln. Compared to $66 overnight valet, this parking lot is a deal with $34 for overnight parking. Safe neighborhood as it is in Lincoln Park.
Parking is near the south most end of the zoo, very close to the farm in the zoo, and just north of the Chicago Historical Musuem.
It is a multi level parking garage with the top level being ground level and open.
There is an attendant on most days in the middle of the day yet the parking is largely credit card automated.
The machine didn't work; it ate our ticket and didn't let us out. Luckily there was a nice person working and she let us out.
The location to the zoo was great, and I would for sure park here again, but remember to SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS!
This lot is across the street and a half block away from the museum. It's not too expensive if you get your ticket stamped in the museum, but twice as much if you're parking for something else.
They do not open soon. At least in summers when the day starts soon , it must open about 8.30 /9
Safe and easy didn't have to fight with trying to find a parking spot on the street worth of 20 bucks
Easy in, easy out. If you go to the museum and get your ticket validated the price is very reasonable. It was a pleasure
You get a discount on parking when you pay for your Chicago History Museum admission ticket. Otherwise, parking here is pricey, like how others are saying in their review. But it's Chicago- expect parking to be high!
It's the same in New York City and Los Angeles- you gotta pay to park your vehicle or go with a taxi cab or bus and avoid parking all together.
This is the ONLY parking you'll probably be able to get for Lincoln Park Zoo. Don't even bother by trying to find street parking.. you'll waste 30-45 mins trying.
Easy parking with plenty of space, but it's a bit of a walk to get to the museum.
Oh, parking... Such a great place to park your car. A bit overpriced given that half of the parking lot is empty.
I enjoyed this museum when I came to check it out with my friend from Chicago she took me to all the places worth seeing this was a good place I'd recommend this place
It's a parking lot.... It's a bit pricey but what do ya expect.
Very decent locating and easy to understand parking. Only complaint is that it's well used.
it not super expensive for downtown there is a basement part of it so you may lose your car it bigger than it looks
It's a bargain if you visit the zoo and the museum. $9 with validation, versus $20 something without.
great parking garage, its $9 to park when u validate, without validation it starts at 20
It's a great place to park when going to the zoo or beach.
The museum validates your parking (if you go through the museum, obviously)
Not over the top for price and you get a 9 dollar credit when you go to the museum.
Decent parking, expensive, but that's normal for Chicago. After an event it will take an eternity to pay and exit
Very expensive and not enough Handicapped parking spaces for the Elderly/Handicapped
Expensive parking - try to find one of the free spots next to Lincoln Park Zoo instead.
Easy, simple, safe
The best museum to look around the whole place. The whole family can go there
I go across the street to the park
Once a year

Central to museums, parks... Very handy and easily accessed.
Parking was a snap and the staff was very nice and helpful.
Reasonably priced lot in the vicinity of several attractions
Nice lot, parking is validated at the CHM.
Useful parking but very expensive! what can I expect in Chicago?
pricey but does the job done, ok parking
Nice are! We really enjoyed the views.
Loved it..awesome tour of the blues realm!!
Expensive, but convenient for access to the area and the zoo.

(Translation) Beautiful museum, it tells the history of Chicago very well. The path is very varied, the only drawback, some poorly lit rooms.

Bellissimo museo, racconta la storia di Chicago molto bene. Molto vario il percorso, unico neo, alcune stanze poco illuminate.
Sehr guter empfehlenswerter Parkplatz. Als Alternative zu den teuren Hotelparkplätzen.
