I used to really enjoy tailgating but now not so much. There is nowhere one can set up and not hear the sounds from the setup that has amplifiers. Sometimes I wish I had an EMP and enjoy 2 seconds without headthumping beats.

Ive been parking here for years, both as a student and as a lecturer with the university of New Mexico. My car has never been broken into and the shuttle's always run like clockwork to get me to campus on time. Just dont wait for the last possible shuttle to campus depending on your class schedule or your ride with be packed.

A decent parking lot for UNM students during the school year and that's about it. There is parking security which is nice but I probably wouldn't park there after the sun goes down.

The UNM Shuttle is great. The drivers are professional and friendly plus I have never had to wait that long for the next bus to show up. The paint in the parking lot is weathered and very hard to see the designated parking spaces. A new coat of paint would make this service perfect!

This is the parkinglottiest parking lot in town! A really great place to park. I'm always of the opinion that a parking lot should never be pretentious, and this one is anything but pretentious! It is flat, and inviting. Its striped asphalt seems to sing, "Park on me!" There are some reserved areas for the "elite," but they are well-marked in red with bright white lettering denoting "Fire Lane." Otherwise, this parking lot is a fantastic celebration of diversity, with literally hundreds of spaces where anyone can park without regard to race, gender, class, religion, age or sexual orientation. Its expansive, open air design scores tremendously over the dark and oppressive environment of airport parking structures or the fearsome, road rage atmosphere of Walmart parking lots. There are larger open air parking lots, like at Disneyland or the entire town of Branson, but this parking lot just has a comfortable, down-home feel to it that just makes you say, "Well, that's okay, then." As an added bonus, there are regular floor shows on Spring weekends when the BMX track is holding big tournaments, because those cyclists have no qualms about changing out of their costumes right there in the lot and half of them don't wear underwear! All in all, this is a great place to park, if you're into parking. Highly recommended!

Went to meet someone in the parking lot. It was empty and at night.
