This is such a beautiful place to enjoy music! The organ, sound and surroundings are amazing! We were there for the Utah Chamber Artists Fall Concert but have been many times in the past and it's always a wonderful experience.

Gorgeous theater. You need proof of vaccination and a mask, and the accoustics are lovely. We saw the Salt Lake Symphony at Christmas. Very festive. Highly recommend the venue.

Always loved this place. The acoustics are wonderful, a dream for choirs, but great for everything. I've really enjoyed the U of U band, orchestra and choir concerts I've been to, it all sounds excellent in the hall. The architecture is beautiful, and the rest of the David Gardner building is just as pleasant. I recently performed there with my Grandmother, Cori Connors, and that was a real treat.

A place for entertainment. If you craving for the lights, something different than ordinary. Imagine yourself immerse in an annual SLC Chinese Choir Concert… “For many reasons, I sing” on June 18th @ 2:30pm. Best of all… It’s FREE!!! Finally, the day is here. The show is breathtaking and the music filled the concert hall beautifully. The sounds and acoustic intertwined magically to deliver a wonderful 80 minutes performance . The traditional Chinese gown were colorful and beautiful on the choir singers. The sound from the two strings Chinese Viola filled the hall like magic in the air. Hopefully you were there to enjoy it too!

Gorgeous venue for many different events! I've been here for a piano recital/concert and a choral concert and they were both amazing! The design and architecture fits very well for music and art related events and the seats were enjoyable for the hour+ we were there for the choral concert. Great experiences and would love to come back.

Great venue for a concert. Plenty of leg room and great acoustics. The signs to the bathroom are a bit confusing and I spent a good ten minutes trying to find it before realizing a circle arrow meant "behind you" rather than around the corner... Fun venue and fun concerts.

Came here for a concert by the American Heritage Youth Choirs and it was fabulous!! Wow! This is a beautiful concert hall and made a great sound out of an exceptional choir. The closest free, and sufficient for a crowd, parking is a little too far away...at the Rice Eccles Stadium. (Especially on a freezing cold day) 😉 But that concert was worth coming to!!

Beautiful hall, we perform here every year for band festival and the acoustics are amazing, seating beautiful and comfortable, and there are several classrooms and a plethora of accessible bathrooms, drinking fountains, and places to eat nearby. It really is a very calm, light, and beautiful place to be and perform in, and everyone seems to agree that it is one of the best acoustic halls in Utah.

it was nice, my dad had a concert to perform for and i came along. the hall is very big and magnificent. there were 88 visible pipes in the organ, though nobody used it during the concert. it was all very big, and even the lobby was fancy. it was a nice place.

My high school hosted there spring concert here and in the 5 years I went to this School I haven't heard them sound as good as they did when they sang in this building. The acoustics were phenomenal.

Beautiful venue. Lots of nearby parking in the evening. We parked in the garage just northeast of the concert hall. We (and others) got a little lost once we entered the building. We found the concert hall down the right hallway on the first floor when entering from the south entrance.

This is a beautiful venue with amazing acoustics. Saw a Utah Chamber Artists concert here last Christmas and was stunned by the intimacy the place provided. The historic neoclassical building and reception area and the opulent ballroom/recital hall has been wonderfully restored and the modern concert hall is just as amazing. The atrium and mezzanine in between the two is spacious and airy. This is an incomparable place and showcases a talented and high caliber music department.

A beautiful, medium size (seats almost 700) concert hall, with great acoustics. Fantastic sound for orchestras with a large-hall sound and feel for pianists - with two absolutely gorgeous Steinway grands!

The hall is acoustically spectacular. The organ backdrop is great and the seats are comfortable. Definitely go listen to a concert or speaker here. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of direction as you enter it is extremely easy to get lost looking for the entrance to the hall.

Great spot for music performance, both from visiting musicians as well as from the School of Music at the University of Utah. Can be a little bewildering to find if you go in the main front doors. Usually there are signs, though. Beautiful modern interior in one of the U's National Register of Historic Places listed buildings. I imagine organ recitals are incredible here.

This is a very fine venue for musical concerts and events. On university campus, it is excellent for its small(er) size. Acoustics are top notch. The only downside is parking, which is bad. Even then, it is worth the effort.

I got the chance to perform here as a part of a choir, and WOW, the sound in that place is incredible. In addition to the incredible sound, it's a gorgeous building, with a beautiful organ. Truly a building of art through and through. The staff there were also very good to our choir. Loved it.

The organ is cool. The acoustics very good. But you have traverse a maze to use the bathroom, there are major people-choke-points, and i hate that both of my times there the venue sold more tickets than seats. Arrive early unless you like to stand.

This is a beautiful concert Hall at the University of Utah. It has a large beautiful organ in the front and wonderful acoustics. It is a smaller hall (500-ish audience seats) so the performances are intimate and intense. I sing in a large choir and we have performed and recorded there several times. My ONLY complaint is that parking can be confusing (but is cheap and available to arrange for online through the University of Utah).

Very nice place. My band performed here during middle school and it felt WAY too fancy for a middle school festival. Beautiful concert hall with almost more beautiful warm-up areas. I feel honored to have been hosted here.

I love this place it is very elegant and clean place. We parked at the stadium and I was worried about having to pay for it but the event that was hosted at this place included it. And a shuttle bus took us to the place. It was a great experience overall and we enjoyed one of the concerts of the music chamber society.

I love how live the music is. But preforming for the first time in there was scary at first because you either hear everyone else, or just you. But I really enjoy it. And a week before preforming in state, I went and saw Elijah preformed by the Salt Lake Coral Artists, and the sound was amazing! I just wish that there was more seats. Because for the first half of the performance, I was sitting on the ground.

Attended the ACDA concert on Nov 17 2017 here to listen to the Salem Jr High choir. They did an amazing job under the guidance of their conductor and the acoustics were AMAZING! Very nice concert hall! If you get a chance, GO!

It was really beautiful. I preformed there in the state concert band festival and u know how echoy the sound is. The seats were really soft, and the organ was the coolest part;that must have costed $100,000+. I really enjoyed it there.

Libby Gardner Hall is in a beautiful building on President Circle. There may not be parking close by, but the sound design and seating areas are great. No food or drink, so come after enjoying a snack outside.
