This is the primary office for the leaders of the church. They have been doing extensive work on the South side of the building. It should look more and more amazing as the year moves forward.

I love this building!! I have probably taken at least 500 pictures of it. Everyone I have talked to have been so nice. They have been re-doing their landscaping all spring and summer, which does distract when taking pictures. You can get some very creative pictures of this dominating building from both parks. The City Creek Park and the Brigham Young historic park are just across State street. The historical park is a “must see” location.

Huge building, this building is the headquarters for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. If you take a tour it's an awesome experience. The people inside are great and extremely courteous. This is a great place to visit if you are taking a tour of temple square. Beautiful grounds too

This building has beautiful paints, but the best is the view from the 26th floor. It is free, but the schedule is not the best. If you want to go there, you should plan it. Schedule to go to the 26th floor: M-F, 9-10:30 or 1-3:30

It's simply the most plesant place in all downtown. The horticulture is fantastic and there seems to be no limit to the nooks and hideaways to sit in and relax or grab a bite. Avoid the missionaries and they leave you alone too.

This is the most organized Cafeteria I have seen here in Salt lake. Hidden treasure in a Large building. It gets my #thepurefoodtruthapproved Stamp of approval among 5 stars..The Salad bar is Organized and Superb. Everyone was helpful. The Salad was delicious 😋 . Love the rest of the church campus. However, the church office building is a garish, 70's era building that detracts from the sacred beauty of the Temple. However, that said, it is a must visit. The observation deck on the 26th floor offers tremendous views of the valley and city, and the Temple. The lobby mural of the Saviour at Jerusalem spans the entire wall of the East side. The missionaries who will take you to the observation deck are amazing nice, pleasant and helpful.

This office building provides limited visitor opportunities. There are volunteers in the main lobby to explain some of the paintings of the Lord Jesus Christ and his ministry. This 30 story office building has two observation decks on the 26th floor providing views of the Salt Lake valley. Tours are usually offered during regular business hours from 8 am to noon and from 1-3:50 pm Monday through Friday. Special events may affect access to the observation deck.

Definitely reccomend getting a tour to the observation deck. Great views of the valley, and since it is a missionary-led tour, lots of art along the way. Too bad it is only during business hours.

Just an office building. Sometimes they host professional meetings open to the public. Like seminars and stuff. It's cool. I don't think this is open to tours and visitors though. There's not really much to see anyway. It's in the name: office building.

Cool building to check out in downtown slc. Tour guides are very friendly and are very knowledgeable on the history of the LDS chruch and the city. view from the balcony is amazing. Great for all ages, highly recommended!

Very reasonable prices for all food served here. Only complaint I have is, after working in the food industry myself for 30 years, most of the hot bars are kept at a dangerous cold temperature level inviting bacteria to set in, not consistent.By the way the panio player was awesome and uplifting!

This is a fun building to visit. I have been coming here since I was kid. You can ride up to the top and look out over the amazing LDS Temple and it's beautiful grounds. You can capture unmatched views of the Salt Lake Valley. I know of no other location with a better view of the valley. In the lobby there is a gihugic painting of the Resirected Christ and his Apostles. Great place for some self reflection and sweet selfie photo opportunitie. Hungry? Just a hop skip and a jump away you can get a quick inexpensive meal across the street to the south at the City Creek food court. FYI there is an Apple store at City Creek too! :) if you ask enough times you may get a free Apple t-shirt or sticker.

You have to go to the observation deck so that you can get a wonderful view of the whole Salt Lake Valley. You can visit both sides of the building so that you can look both East and West. It's worth the amount of time you'll take!

I came here to observe the city from the observation deck. Upon entering the building I was immediately stopped by some clean cut 20 something blonde hair blue eyed guy asking me why I am in the building. After that there were a bunch of wonder elderly women who would remind you of your Grandma that escorted us to the elevator and to the deck. The deck was staffed with similar Grandmotherly types who explained how the Mormons lived at peace with the Indian population when settling the area unlike the Oklahomans who persucted the Native American. to do their bidding. Otherwise I felt as if everything I said and did was under surveillance, just like God would want it, eh?

The people were friendly and helpful, the feeling was peaceful, and the mountain views from anywhere, and lake views from the observation deck on the church office building would be hard to top. I can't imagine anyone who has actually visited being critical; they must have come to the website with a pre-conceived negative agenda.

The Roosevelt Building is wonderful. The Parking is terrible. Most notably, there is not enough parking, and there is especially a lack of handicap parking in an area that has a lot of older people who need to park close to the building.

Friendly people. This is a big place. A lot of the day to day operations of the LDS Church happen here. There is a lot of security, so this isn't just a pop in tourist attraction. Parking is not always available.

The view is great and since you always have to be accompanied, you can ask all sorts of things about Salt Lake City. I especially liked the view of the Capitol.
