A+ was great. It was easy to schedule an appointment and a rep. was able to come to our place within 24 hours of placing the call (and could have been sooner if needed). We had an old automatic garage door opener than stopped working. Michael diagnosed the problem and then provided the various options and their costs to fix the problem. Michael T. was very professional, easy to work with, and completed great work quickly and cleanly. He explained all the work he did and the new equipment he installed. I'm very happy with the work completed today. I happily recommend A+ Garage Door Repair for your quick, honest, and thorough garage door repair in the SLC area.

Sterling and the entire team at A Plus Garage have been OUTSTANDING, respectful, hard working, honest and take care of your needs. This company is amazing! The tech, I think his name was Mike did and amazing job getting out emergency job done and doing a complete overhaul on everything that needed to be fixed at a reasonable price. We live in a town home community and I’ll be sharing this recommendation with all of our neighbors. We called another place that wanted nearly the same amount to come out and replace the coil only. Colin did a fabulous job on switching out my 20 yr old garage door motor. He provided me 3 options for my repair/replacement. I went with the larger motor and option 2 which was changing the opener, the sensors, the wheels, changed from a single spring to a double spring, lubbed the rails, etc. The only thing I didn't do was replace the door since it's still in good shape. Now it is super quiet and opens every time. The model I chose has an app you can open/close from your phone as well as a camera. Pretty sweet! The diagnostic visit was $29 which they added towards my invoice. Other places I called charge $89 for a diagnostic visit alone. Thank you Colin!!

Our garage door was not working properly because it was getting old. The technician Carson was nice and polite. He suggested that we should replace the motor, wheels, and cables. He was able to replace everything in about 2 hours. The new motor is quieter and the installation looks great. I had a house warranty claim denied by the sub contractor that IBEX had respond to a service call regarding a garage door jerking. There was a sticker in the garage where service had been performed by A+ by the previous owner of the house. I called them after being told by the subcontractor that the doors were installed wrong. They immediately scheduled a window for a quality team member to come out to take a look at the garage door. Nolan called ahead to give his ETA. Once here he advised that the pulleys were indeed zero clearance and that they could replace them. He called me the next day after doing further research on the invoices listed on the sticker in the garage. He advised that they would correct the problem. I told him that I had called IBEX & they would get back to me regarding the differences in findings. IBEX did approve that I use A+ & submit an invoice to them for reimbursement. Nolan returned to change the pulleys & made the necessary adjustments to both doors. I have every intention of recommending A+ Garage to other neighbors or friends that have a future need. Thank you Nolan for turning a frustrating experience into a excellent customer experience.

They came today and were even early! (10:am instead of 10:30) one was being trained by a seasoned and experienced employee. Both were very professional and friendly. We had great conversations, and they knew exactly what the problem was, and how to fix it. Instead of having to replace the whole unit, door, springs, and everything, they just knew to replace the gear on the top of the garage, which got it functioning and working again. It saved a ton of money for us! We would recommend these two gentlemen any time.

We had a spring break on our garage door and called and we’re able to schedule to get someone out the next day (on a Saturday) for an extra $20 beyond the normal dispatch fee, so it ended up being $45. Jason came close to that time and showed us some other things that he thought should be replaced and was able to give a very close estimate to what it would cost, which I appreciated. He finished everting in about an hour and ensured it was working properly. Overall a very good experience with them.

I'm easy. If you show up when you say will, do what you say you'll do, and charge what you say you'll charge, I'm a fan. I first had Craig come over last year to handle a repair. We were thinking about a new door but weren't ready but I told him he'd get a call when we were. Then yesterday our other door broke down. The spool on the left side sheared off the rod and the whole thing was toast, not worth saving. I dug up Craig's card, he had me call Debbie, and Brandon showed up to see what could be done an hour or so later. All he could do, that made any sense, was tear down the old door. By this morning another tech had come, we spec'd a door, they found it and it is now fully installed, less than 24 hours later. I didn't want to be door-less for the Memorial weekend. The picture does not show the new top panel that will come next week cut with windows, but I was happy to have it in. Looks great. Price was fair, work was good and efficient, the people were all excellent to work with. I am a fan. Strongly recommend. (Oh, and Debbie, I already referred you guys to a friend today.) Thanks

Chase (the installer) arrived earlier than expected which was a welcome change. He was clean and considerate when entering the home and during the entire visit. He was very respectful and quick and efficient but not in a hurry to leave before making sure everything was installed correctly and worked perfectly. He made sure I understood how to change codes if necessary and how to reprogram door openers I already had as well as making sure my new code worked for the remote opener when he installed it on my garage casing. He explained the warranty and instructed me how to properly maintain the door and keep it properly lubricated to assure longevity. I would definitely recommend “A-Plus Garage Doors” to anyone needing or wanting any type of Garage Door service now or at any time in the future. In today’s age with many employees just doing enough and hurrying through a job without concern for quality work, it’s nice to find a company whose employees are concerned about doing a quality job and assuring they do it right the first time.

I had a broken spring in my garage door and I saw their Facebook ad. I messaged them on Facebook at 12:30pm on a Saturday and the immediately responded saying they could have someone out in a couple hours to give me an estimate. I wasn’t in a hurry to get it done but accepted anyways. They showed up 3pm and the price for replacing the springs, bearings, tension cable, and whatever else they did was very reasonable and so I let him do his thing. Great experience with A Plus garage so far. We had our old manual garage door (which would no longer pull open) replaced with a new automatic door. Our technicians were J Low (Jordan) and Darger. There is not much clearance in our garage, so they were able to install a special motor that is mounted on the side of the door instead of above the door. They were right on time and in and out in five hours as promised. Everything is working as it should be!

Craig and Zach are the A-team! The spring on our garage door broke right before it was time to take the kids to school. We were able to arrange a ride for the kids, but we couldn’t get out of our garage. We made a phone call to A+ before business hours and unfortunately they did not answer. However, not two minutes later and we had an incoming call from their office saying they missed our call and asking how they could be of assistance. After explaining the situation, the wonderful dispatcher said she could have someone out in the afternoon. We told her we were hopeful someone could be out in the morning and she made arrangements for a tech who had another job in the area to be at our home between 9 and 11am. Well, Craig and Zach called at about 8:45am and said they were on their way. Not 5 minutes later and they were in our driveway and knocking on the door. They were able to diagnose the problem, make excellent recommendations for fixing it, and made the repairs in under an hour. A Plus matched the price so agreed to have A plus do the work as could do it two days sooner. They did a good job and adjusted a spring that was causing one of garage doors to tilt over time. I recommend them and only dropped to 4 stars as would have charged more if I didn't have another quote and then tried to talk me out of the garage openers I had purchased 8 months prior and could not return as they don't recommend Genie openers. Once past the bid process and the attempted upsell all went smoothly.

I called A Plus to come out and quote me on replacing my garage door opener and was surprised that they were available to come out the same day. I was even more surprised when the quote was cheaper than I expected it to be. They were able to proceed with the installation at the same time, and within two hours I had a new garage door opener as well as new rollers and cables (the tech did an inspection and found broken rollers and frayed cables). Our spring on the garage door broke, so I called a few places to schedule an estimate and repair. A plus Garage was the only one that could send someone out same day. I had one tell me about $250 and since it was Friday afternoon, it would be some time Monday. Another place told me $300-$450 and sometime Saturday. A + told me in a couple hours but would quote over the phone. Before I had hung up the phone with the third place, Keith from A+ was calling me. He had finished a job and was 5 minutes away. I can’t believe that from the time the spring broke, I had someone here, it was less than 20 minutes. Keith quoted me a couple options but I stuck with the $298 It was a little more but it was worth the convenience. He also gave me some tips on what I could do to improve the performance of my opener which includes adjusting the angle of the track which was set too high. I’m typically a DIY and it was great advice and I really appreciated it. Overall, I’m very happy with the quick response and Keith’s honesty. I would definitely recommend Keith and A+ garage. I know my situation was unique in how fast my door was repaired, (less than 90 minutes after it broke) but it doesn’t get better than price, speed and expertise. FYI, the $250 rate was from a friend I know who originally installed my garage door.
