Reviews of Jewelers' Row
This is the place to go if you're into jewelry. Got my watch iced. In 15 min. a friend had a ring made while we waited . all the stores are different. Hard to see it all . an experience.we especially loved," king of jewelery"
Purchased my fiancee engagement ring from Barsky's diamonds. The sales team is great and very helpful in picking out the perfect ring at the perfect price.
Interesting place, I bet many of the shopkeeps are Freemasons though. Be wary.
Good amount of stores and great sellers
Robert Lance Jewelry: The most honest and trustworthy Jeweler there. Very warm and friendly staff. They keep the consumer well educated on the items for sale.
Prices: Very reasonable and fair!
I love this place.
DeSumma & Wexler did some amazing work for me! The product sells itself and the staff is nothing but helpful.
Vast selection of quality jewelry here! Lots of places to find an engagement or wedding ring, watch or a pendant. Don't take the first sales offer you get. Prepare to shop around and spend hours. Mind your meter to avoid parking tickets.
I absolutely LOVE Robert Lance Jewelers! He treats you like you are his first priority and takes the time to show you all of your options without being pressured about money. My family and I are lifelong customers now
I went on a Sunday and everything else was closed but B and H king of jewelers . And they did have some nice pieces. Got some earrings for my wife.
You can find anything from antique and vintage to top of the line and custom jewelry..... This is the best selection of jewelry in a small area than anywhere in America..... Even New York's is spread out in large area. Philadelphia historic area down the street, and has the feel of a historic shopping scene..... Have to shop it to feel it!
Just had to go down for watch battery, the folks in this small shop took care me quickly and efficiently. I usually collect a business card
Some how i slipped. It' s a small jeweler's shop between Chestnut and Sansom on 8th. Really nice and fair business owners.
A lot of choice with man Jewelry stores. Our favorite is Kanell Jewelry. Small local store personal service. Great prices and if you don't see what you like they will sit down with you and design it. Been going there for years and will continue to go there. Exactly what you want from a local store run by local people. The anti-Kay Jewelers.
Walking through Jeweler's Row is such a delight. Come during the day when local businesses have their jewelry on display. Knowledgeable professionals - and keen salesmen, so do be alert! - can tell you everything you'd ever want to know about gems or the jewelry business. Steps away from a SEPTA stop and South St (which has lots of food and fun shops).
I been going there for years, do your reseach on whateverit is you are interested in before going. Dealing with these people are like dealing with a used car salesman, they are about their money not your feelings nor interest. You can have great deals but u have to work for them and if u go without doing your reseach the great deals WILL be in their favor.
Went to Unclaimed Diamonds to pick out a wedding set for my wife. Very affordable prices, and pay options for all budgets.Very helpful staff members and a great selection. Go check them out, you will not be disappointed.
For jewelry and watches there are stores with great deals. For dining there is great coffee but few other choices. The street needs more tables and chairs outside with umbrellas. The plants, bricks, and architecture is fantastic.
Jewelers Row has the very best jewelry shops and its where my ex-husband bought my engagement ring and the jeweler took the time to explain to him about the diamond and he gave us the diamond certificate that came with the diamond. We were very satisfied with the engagement ring. Blue Dot Diamonds💎💍 …
Love it here so much to see
Anyone living in DC should go here for jewelry. Much better selection and prices. There are some high pressure people hanging out from of their stores on the side streets but also lots of very high quality places. Kusturis Jewelers is my top pick!
Highly recommend Larry at Rosenberg Jewelers. I brought a link of a piece from a famous jeweler and he can reproduced it at a third of the cost. Or design your own piece. He also had a larger diamond in stock and we upgraded my engagement ring for a very low price.
Jeweler's Row is as much Philly as City Hall. Our four-year-old granddaughter and I walked through it yesterday. She was fascinated, looking on every window and wanted to go into each store. The jewelry displayed is beautiful and usually buyers can bargain. There's an excitement. Between Seventh and Eighth Streets, above and below Sansom, it's a busy, very urban, few blocks. Jeweler's Row is definitely an area I'd recommend visiting along with the Liberty Bell.
Steven Singer Jewelers is my go to jeweler. Unique one of kind designs created on their premises, knowledgeable sales team some with 20+ years experience in the industry. Most of all EXCEPTIONAL, EXCEPTIONAL customer service. When you enter through their doors you're never disappointed. 💟💟 …
Great variety with so many shops so close together. If you can't find what you want, go to canzi creations on third floor at 740 Sansom st. Ask for Sal. He will make whatever you want! He is a true Craftsman! Excellent prices! He's extremely knowledgeable and will treat you like family!
Lots of jewelry and conveniently located near the old city bar and restaurant scene. Also the historic areas of old city are well within walking distance.
Jewelers row is not what it used to be, be careful out there, there are a lot of sharks swimming. If you take your time and do your research you can still get a great deal. The competition between stores drops the prices, but make sure you know what you're looking at before you buy. Selling Gold? Go to Kozin's jewelers on 8th st. Buy far best prices paid. Buying an engagement ring? Check out the smaller shops and avoid the large highly advertised ones, you will get a better deal.
I wish it was easier to find parking around here without paying so much for a lot. There should also be as many people cleaning the streets as there are parking authority employees. Something has to give with the dumpsters. I mean, I get that the trash has to wait somewhere. But, dag! They should be hosed down a little more often.
Must have tried 10 jewelers before going to Galaxy Jewelers booth F4. I was looking for a St Jude Medallion and every where we went no one had it. Finally spoke to a nice lady named Margarita who immediately had what I was looking for. Thank you Ms Margarita!! You really made my day.
I didn't buy anything at any of the stores but the variety of jewelry that is offered is amazing! I love looking at the window displays as there is no pressure to buy.
Go see Michael at the Golden Nugget. I've purchased jewelry from him on 5 separate occasions, among them an engagement ring and wedding bands. I've never had better service, and in each case we've settled on a great deal.
Anyone who loves jewelry would love Jewelers row . I think most females would love it there . Hint hint hint to the males/ females this is a great place to take your special lady or man to buy them something exquisite beautiful luxurious and glamorous in the jewelry department of course . There are tons of shops all with high quality jewelry ,gems , diamonds, hold , silver and Platinum . Five out of five stars
Something to see around every corner and door!
I LUV Jewelers Row in Center City, its frankly the only place I trust for 14kt or better gold. Prices are already high as the sky, there is no need in getting gagged or taken advantage of. I also bring family heirlooms to get cleaned or serviced regularly and I never have to worry about anything. Equally as important, lay-away is sometimes an option for big ticket items. Bottom line, the best place for jewelry Nowadays is QVC..REAL TALK!! Or go to 8th & Chestnut, carefully walk & Explore, cash can get you quite a bargain.
If your pocket is bulging with cash and you need to get rid of it the right way, come to Jewelers row! They will make sure every penny you have is gone!
But of course, you get walk away with wealth concentrated into a Little Rock in which we call diamonds and other precious jewels!
Just walk around here and there is no shortage of displays of flashing diamonds in store windows. If you get lured into the realms within, a sales person will be eager to show you their finest so you can part ways with your hard earned money. Hopefully, you’ve brought the lucky recipient with you to shower them in all the glitz and glamour! Then walk away with just what you could afford.
Went to Tang's Jewelers for a replacement wedding ring. They had the size and type on file so it was quick and easy. Great customer service!
It's okay. I observed an associate dragging dresses on the floor while carrying them to hang on racks. When I mentioned it to her, she just said ok and kept on dragging them on the floor. No wonder some of the dresses have dirt on the bottom of them. Wow. She seemed to be in a bad mood. Guess I won't be buying any dresses from Ross.
I was in the area, so I decided to visit Jeweler's Row to see just how many stores had closed. I went into one on 8th Street, & got a pair of earrings for a good price.
Do not be mistaken - this is not a place to go if you are looking for unique, custom, or antiquey jewelry. It primarily features shops with high class, diamond/gold/silver jewelry, that frankly all look the same. Otherwise, a very unique area.
Great place to shop for all types of jewelry and jewelry being repaired. It's a one stop shopping area within a six block radius. Would recommend to family and friends.
Went to king of jewelers to have a bracelet repaired. People friendly and did professional job on bracelet for fair price. Highly recommend.
There are a ton of jewelry store here! We were just window shopping because we came through around 5pm so many were closing, but still a neat part of downtown Philadelphia.
I am here weekly to scrap gold as I own a but sell trade shop. If you're looking for jewelry this is the place to go. For hundreds of years peoole have been flocking to this area of Philly for jewelry. Dozens of jewelers with thousands of styles to choose from.
If you're a dealer like me you can get close to melt value without waiting for the refinery check. I use 8th street gold buyers as we have a good relationship there. Kazin also pays well.
Working on toll brothers project. All the neighbors are cool. Very nice people.
But if looking for jewelry, go to Leon's @8th&Samson
I lived and worked in Philadelphia over 35 years. I used to buy loose diamonds and have earrings, necklaces and rings made for my wife. Nice place to visit in old town Philadelphia.
Got my engagement ring here at Harzin and they are absolutely wonderful. Susan took so much time to help us design the perfect ring
I love going over there so many Gold, silver, and diamond stores. What makes it even better that you can bargain for a great deal because there are so many stores saling jewelry.
Love diamonds? You'll love it here. Also there is a great shoe repair/customize shop at 8th and walnut across from Steven Singer
Tong Jewellers a great group of people to do business with. Everyone needs a Jeweller they can Trust. Yang and here family are the ones for me.
Quaint Street in Society Hill, I believe you can get some good deals on high end jewelry, since there is so much competition. Good places to eat around there too.
Jewelers Row is like an odd little village in the middle of a big city. There's nothing else like it and I really hope they don't succumb to Developers who will destroy this iconic community!
Nice lots of good stores some of them are robbery but hey its jewelry and should be
Went to Steven Singer's and it was a great experience. Got what I wanted and a great price. Can't say as much for the other stores around there.
Had a great experience at the store service was very professional 👍🏾 …
Kozin is where I go to for precious metal purchase and sell back. Great price on premium and they know what they're doing. 👍👍👍 …
This section of center city has been around since I was a small child and longer. The integrity of the shops have not changed. Hope it never does.
It was wonderful. Elliott was so kind and help. I am glad that I found a local place to buy some of my supplies.
Had my wedding bands resized and dipped in rhodium. Pricing was reasonable and work was quality!
Great place to find all kinds of beautiful stones and settings. Barsky's is my personal favorite here, great staff and beautiful pieces.
Jewelry Mecca in Philadelphia best place to get jewelry in Philadelphia meets every price range and need Leon's on 8th and Sansom has been a great Jeweler with a great reputation and great integrity for years
It's where to go when you need supplies. But make sure that you put enough money in the parking meter, more than you think you'll need. The parking police will sit at your car and wait for your time to run out
Had a wonderful time, taking the tours, shopping, eating , drinking. There's a lot to do and see. Have a schedule so you can see everything......
No way no how the same place to buy jewelry as it once was. That is, unless you know a store owner. I feel only a few shops are worth it
It has changed a lot since the last time ive been theen about 13 years ago
Great historic charm, decent options for jewellery if you want to search multiple stores for something specific or good finds.
Check out the FIRST JEWELRY DISTRICT of our nation. ..an IMPORTANT piece of our Philadelphia HISTORY! ! ESTABLISHED IN 1857and still fulfilling dreams! Come experience the MAGIC!
I had two pieces of jewelry repaired. The work was impeccable at Marchi Jewelers.
Busy area in Philly where all the Asian people on all the jewelry shops and you just need to actually go from store to store and ask everybody the price because everyone charges totally different prices for the same thing however they all use the same person to cut and make the necklaces so pay attention to your prices in your gold you can get ripped off in here
This philly area is known worldwide anything you need in the way of jewelry or watches can be found in that 2 square blocks of Old City.
Bought high end jewelry there years ago. Too bad Toll Brothers is moving on the Sansom Street project with high-end high rise apartments.
Large selection of gold jewelry, affordable prices, stuff can help you find what you need and adjust your jewelry.
A historical visit. Hoping there is a renaissance here. Best jeweler's on the strip? Safian & Rudolph hands-down.
I'm in the Jewelry & Watch business so this street is no stranger to me. I'm often there to visit friends, pick up parts, and to see vendors.
Best place to find a diamond. Wealth of knowledge and endless selection
Awwww mann evrythg closed😢😞 ..Came 2 visit philly & didnt find out bout ths area til sunday ....When all.the stores closed ..smdh I am crushed …
Awesome area. So much to see and do. Great restaurants etc. You HAVE to take in all the historical sites.
Went to Barskys. Friendly staff. Nate is especially a good man to work with. Service personnel are extremely competent.
First time there and will will not be the last. Sadly the fake protesters ruin the area.
The sales lady had fun smiling at me through the window- though I had no money, she made me feel welcome! Prayers
Many jewelry stores to choose from. It can get overwelming if you have not done your research before your visit.
Unclaimed Diamonds has great quality jewelry at reasonable prices and the staff are pleasant and helpful.
A landmark but not too sure about the quality of stores and the items available.I would shop at a known place with a proper warranty though.
Lots of independent jewelers in a small area. Great for shopping, also a good place to go when you know exactly what you want.
Liked it here loved the cobblestone road ways and just the historical society are definitely worth seeing
I was at 8th Street Gold, the service was absolutely amazing and they're very knowledgeable regarding diamonds and gold.
Great area if you're looking for a jewelry purchase. Local to just about any thing else you are looking for in center city
Please save this unique part of Philadelphia. I am told there are plans for condos here. This is a special section of the city that needs to be preserved.
Beautiful jewelry nice people in the area Jewelers Row
Fascinating place! If you're on a buying trip make sure to do your homework otherwise it can be overwhelming.
Decent city grocery store, but limited selection. The ShopRite up Ridge is much better.
I love to visit H&T Jewelry. They have great pieces and they know their stuff
The most extensive number of jewelry stores, jewelry manufacturers, and jewelry supply stores in the city. Anything related to jewelry can be found here.
I love Philly and Jewler's Row! You can get custom made jewelry made while you wait.
Nice Christmas Lights!
This area was similar to what you see in NYC on 46th Street, only in miniature. I did find a place that does rhodium plating while you wait.
Great jewelry locations in Philadelphia but not severe thunderstorm warning or watch from the national weather service
Nice variety of stores, make sure to check our I Goldberg while your in the area!!
Paul Kao and Leon's Jewelry are always my go to when I go to Jewelry's Row.....
Great place to walk around and also to ring/jewelry shop.
Lxy boutique 720 Sansom st great store Rolex, Louis Vuitton,Chanel, Cartier, you name it they got it
Susan Klein is the best, a very pleasant and professional lady. She knows her jewelry.
Some damn good ice cream.
Just keep in mind that some of these flavors can be very sweet.

I enjoy myself here and I found my wife's engagement ring here as well.

Most coolest row of jewelry stores in the country. Jewelry for all fashion and income levels.
Beautiful experience lots of choices. Big variety of shops for all your needs
Nothing special at all, rather go to good local family owned reputable store personally
Parking is not very good. But experience is great. Also cops always around.
Nice, but some stores are better than others. I highly recommend Harzin.
Deb's is the best place on Jeweler's Row! So many options in a few blocks.
Great deals if you shop in multiple shops to compare prices.
Always a nice trip to jewelers row.... Even if ur just window shopping
Did work some work down on a Saturday morning...very peaceful atmosphere
Quaint but dying jewelry shopping area. Historic buildings coming down for condos. Days are numbered here.
Awesome selection of jewelry, you'll find what you're looking here.
Fun experience shopping for rings in historic jewelers row!
Great selection of stores whether you are buying, selling or appraising.
Of course you can get anything you want there. And if they do not have it the jeweler will make it for you.
if you need an engagement ring the right place to go real reasonable
Parking is expensive and wife's wedding ring had a diamond pop out after 2 months of the purchase...
Great place, found a really nice necklace for my mother.
Reminded me of The Diamond District in New York City except its a smaller version.
Steven Singer's...great selection, customer service and enjoyed Gigi's help!!
You get a feeling like you're walking in a street market overseas. It's amazing.
Wonderful shop. The owner is great and extremely helpful!
Sydney Rosen Jewelry Co. was extremely helpful on obtaining a difficult-to-get engagement ring
Nice clean area. Ok, Parking! Nice shops with windows!
Many of the stores here are vacant and available for lease. The area also gets quite dicey at night.
Super charming, clearly the best place to buy jewelry in the Philadelphia metro area.
Come get all your jewelry shopping here!! One stop with all the stores near by!!
Me&my fiancee Loved our first experience & will continue to go back.
Competitive jewelry sales, and wonderful craftsmen ready to repair delicate gold and silver heirlooms

Fun to window shop. Also a great place to find some great deals.
Went down to get an appeal on an heirloom. Freindly people on jewelers row.
A gem snack damn in the middle of old City Philadelphia. A great place to window shop for cheap or to to lighten your wallet a lot and shop for real
No problems nor complaints during my last visit
The only place to shop if you want to buy gold, Diamonds or rings these days Because it's so much fake stuff out there...
Prices are great for selling. But shop owners are questionable.
A wonderful place for tourists and locals...almost everyone except Toll Bros.
Had bought my wedding ring there from my future husband.
It was a nice walk. The weather was fine and the people were nice.
Great store's and it's not like NYC it's better
Love the YOU & ME bench. Great for lovers when you choose that ring.
If your looking for jewelry nice place to go
We went for the festival. It was a little disappointing. There weren't enough vendors, etc.
They did a good job repairing my necklace.
Lots of stores to compare Prices Great amount to choose from.
I dread going to jeweler row..traffic & limited parking..& very inconvenient for me.& They did not get it Right 1st time
I come to this area for the good nail salons they have.
They buy they sell you can find anything you want anytime grey people
It's the oldest jewelry district in America (1860) and home to several multi-generational jewelry stores.
Love shopping down there for my jewelry
Parking is awful.
Stores are not friendly, very pushy.
Always good prices! And beautiful piecea
You can undoubtedly find anything your looking for, although you may have to compare the difference in quality or cost.

Affordable prices on expensive jewelry and your also able to layaway your choices.
