My mother was treated like family at Ignite during the most challenging time of hers. The facility is still being remodeled, but I can’t wait to see the result. I am hoping we will not need services again, but if we do, we know this place is excellent. See picture below- they even helped us throw a candlelight dinner for my parents’ 58th anniversary!

My Father spent a few weeks in ignite after he was released from the hospital and he really liked his stay there. Never had anything negative to say about the staff or the food. He wishes that he could have stayed there longer.

As I end my second rehab at the Portland facility in OKC, I wanted to leave some notes about my time here. I came with apprehension and concern about staffing levels around the holidays and with the increased spread of Covid. Rarely was my care impacted as a result of either of these. My therapy goals were met and exceeded with the known and unknown caring therapists who genuinely cared for my well being. I know my surgeon will be very pleased. As happened, Covid did grab me and I was promptly moved to a safe room with the finest of attention where I stayed until I was released. The nurses and assistants adapted with nearly seamless flaw, only occasionally was a beat missed. Dietary responded to my requirements and Holly in case management was always working in my best interest as well as that of the facility. The common thread for this experience came from Chelsea, in Hospitality. She is a gem that should go in the pockets of all staff to work her wonders in the hearts and minds of residents and guests. Her concern and compassion is contagious and she can most definitely become the face and smile of Invite Health! Keep nurturing this team, get some facelifts done, and Invite will become the envy of anyone seeking good medical care! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💜

I highly recommend Ignite skilled nursing. They are a top tier facility from housekeeping to administration. The care here is impeccable and everyone has been so kind and welcoming. The nurses Chelsea and Cassandra were so wonderful and they made me feel so safe with having my husband here. Bria has been so professional and reassuring as all of the staff has been! Everyone has been so compassionate. Chelsey in Hospitality has been so wonderful and has been there to help from day 1 even when we had a small bump in the road. She was easy to partner with for a good outcome and stay for my husband. She followed through on everything she said she would and resolved all and any concerns. It has been a great experience.

I enjoyed my medical stay here at Ignite. A few thoughts stood out that I will share. Your hospitality director Chelsey, was very personable and I enjoyed her. She represents your company first and she does a very impressive job! Your therapist are the best. They are on task for our physical well being and strengthening. Faye and Zorro were very professional and personable.

Excellent care, want to thank Nurse Betsy, she was extra attentive to her patients, anticipating needs. Debra went that extra care in physical therapy and Michelle in Occupational therapy. Staff did an excellent job keeping in touch with the patients especially Chelsey. The aids were quick to answer the call lights. I'm happy to be home, but was happy to have found Ignite when I needed help.

When I first got here I thought it was a nursing facility. Staff was great and assured me that it wasn't. Once I was settled in was able to venture around the facility and realized how nice it and everyone else was. I was downstairs eating a muffin and Chelsey sat down beside me and talked to me for awhile. Chelsey has been good about checking on me through the weeks and making sure I am doing good. Hollie has been great and made sure I will be set up with home health when I discharged. The nursing Staff has also been extremely kind. Bre in activities has been great with providing us things to do to get us out of our rooms.

Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. This is exactly the experience we had with my Mom being at Ignite Medical Resorts OKC. With all of the crazy things going on in the medical field, we were worried about my Mom being in a facility while we were out of town. But we are so incredibly happy with the care, love, and attention that she received. They are wrapping up their renovations and the facility looks beautiful. Mom loved the food and all the staff on her hall. The Assistant General Manager is an absolute delight! He went above and beyond to make sure my Mom was cared for and felt special. He has a tremendous amount of love and care for all of his staff and patients. Anytime we needed something for Mom he took care of it immediately. Hospitality welcomed Mom when she arrived in the facility and checked in on her throughout her stay. The admissions team was super helpful with her transition as well answered any questions we had. Therapy is nothing short of world class. We highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a skilled nursing need. I hear the owner is a real nice guy and a trail blazer in the skilled nursing industry. He seems to be initiating great changes to increase the standards of quality and care received with our aging population. Like Ricky Bobby once said. “If you’re not first, you’re last!!!”

I came to Ignite from St Anthony's hospital with the Hope's of walking with out a walker. The therapy is amazing and I feel I will get there because I am always making progress. The team makes sure I don't fall for get dizzy , very considerate and aware. Over all everyone is really nice and concerned about the guest myself and all needs . I'm always checked in on and at night nursing will come cover my feet, couldn't ask for better care. Thank you all and I would recommend Ignite to anyone needing such care.

I highly recommend Ignite. During my 100-day rehab stay, I received highly professional & compassionate care from all staff. Nurses here are exceptional. The two transport women drivers are beyond awesome & reliable. Dietary staff are great. I had a custom made florentine omelette every morning. Physical therapists are thorough & go beyond expectations. When my phone went out, hospitality even helped me order a new phone.

I highly recommend this facility. Staff are kind, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to the needs of their patients. It is more than obvious they really care about the patients like they are family. I was under the impression my uncle would be needing lengthy therapy and care but with the help of this facility he was out in two weeks thanks to the dedication of their staff.

My Mother has been in Ignite for almost 8 weeks. She has had amazing care. Her Physical Therapy has been top notch and she has come so far. Today we took her flowers and her Valentines present and they helped us surprise her. Jodi with hospitality made it all happen. Thank you so much. We have missed her so much and it was so good to see her through the glass door. We are excited for her to come home soon.

This review is about Jodi the director of hospitality at this facility. She is five stars all the way. Extremely helpful and caring. I had a few issues when I first got here and she took care of everything. She is very responsive to your needs and make sure that your stay is pleasant. As for the kitchen, I have been in other rehab facilities and the food was subpar. I have to say ignites chef definitely brings the level of food up quite a few notches.

My mother received caring, patient kind care at Ignite. The employees were professional and gentle. She made quick progress and is at home doing well. I appreciate how easy it was to get answers from the staff anytime I called or came to visit. I always felt whatever we needed would be provided. I will give the rehab recommendations whenever asked.

Caring and attentive staff. Management is responsive to client/patient needs and concerns. They're not perfect but who is? Continuous improvement seems to be their goal and they work at it. There may be a lot worse places but not many better. Hospitality is Ignites by word. Two thumbs up!

The nursing staff is excellent, patient, loving and caring both to the patient and to the family of the patient. You could not ask for a more compassionate and skilled group of people. My mother had been here for a few hours before being sent back to the hospital and I knew we would get the best from them. They were the reason we brought her back when she left the hospital. The surprise came from the hospitality staff. I expected to hear that I was welcome to come by and get information from them,maybe have a cup of coffee. I did not expect what I and my mother got. They have inconvenienced themselves providing ways to communicate with my mother who has difficulty with the phones. Jody has held the phone for her with patience not rushing her or us. She has taken the time to learn what most encourage is her to escape from some of the depression that comes with illness and separation from home such as music books and hobbies and have taken the time to participate in these to help her revive her interest. One of the hospitality staff went out of her way to learn what kind and then search out books mom would like thank you Madison. It would have been far easier to turn on the TV and walk away but Jody took the time to take a moment to get to know Mom as the person she is as well as the patient. I would highly recommend this facility to friends.

Hi my name is Rhonda. I have been doing rehab at Ignite Medical resorts. First I wanted everyone to know how I feel about my rehab here. Pierre was my physical therapist. I have never had someone care about making sure that I didn’t cut corners he pushed me to do my best and I did! My occupational therapist was Carri and again she made sure I did my best and I did. I can’t thank Carri and Pierre for how far I have come thank you both for everything! Breonna made sure she kept us busy doing craft and other things I love that! Shanese is hospitality who made sure I had things I needed. My nurses Rachel,Taylor,Carri and so many others.Marybelle and Liz were wonderful such hard workers they made sure you never went without. Ashley in transportation is such a sweet girl she always ask how I am doing. Jawaun my case manager is wonderful. Jacob Med Aid was always nice.There are so many others I love this place. They helped me so much they taught me things that I needed to control my asthma. My sisters and I did our research before selecting a short-term care facility for our mother, who is recovering from the COVID-19 virus. Ignite is proving to be a great selection. The facility is modern and clean and staff is attentive and communicative with my mother and her loved ones, keeping us up-to-date on her progress and making her feel comfortable. Jody, in hospitality, has reached out several times and arranged face-time calls with family members and my mother. I feel encouraged this is a good fit for my mother’s recovery. A++

My mother is being cared for at Ignite. Everyone I have interacted with there has been very helpful and my mother likes the people caring for her. She is getting very good care medically and otherwise. It’s difficult during these times when we can’t actually be in the room with our family but I feel good about the care she is getting. She had been at Ignite before and we were extremely pleased she was able to go back.Today for the first time I met Jodi in hospitality via phone/FaceTime and she is wonderful. She facilitated a FaceTime visit with my mother. She was extremely helpful and is planning activities and additional FaceTime visits for my Mom. She checked for and provided all the information I asked for and helped with a very nice visit. She’s told me she will help with visits daily if requested and got more information as to what my Mom enjoys during the visit to spend time with her and help in her recovery. She has time planned with with her tomorrow as well as another visit for me and offered help if any of us in Mom’s family had questions or concerns. I am very pleased and grateful to everyone there for the care my Mom is receiving.

Chelsey has been superb while I’ve been here from day one. She always available to answer any questions and offers to help with anything I need. She often stops by just to say hello and ask how I am doing and remind me if I needed anything to let her know. Chelsey has also come by before going home after a long day when she had been too busy to get back to me during her regular workday.

I came to ignite from the VA with phenomena. When I arrived I received a welcome from all staff who are just wonderful! My aide Liz has just been exceptional, she does everything to make me comfortable. There isn't a day she doesn't come check on me and make sure I'm as comfortable as can be. LIZ TREATS US ELDERLY WITH SUCH Care. She's never in a rush and just a wonderful person. She doesn't bring her home to work you'd never know we weren't her focus. Thank you Ignite team . Head nurses are very much on top of things when guest have concerns or worry about care and treatment thank you . Today I am leaving Ignite and would like to say although we are going threw a pandemic and some places become short staffed on and off again I understand nowhere can be like home but you all have done your best and I am thankful. My mother in-law was given very good care especially after she contracted covid and we don't know where she contracted it they made sure she had the best care in the covid ward. They went over and above to find her clothing that was misplaced when she got sick her things were to be cared for by me after the covid diagnosis I couldn't do that her things had not been marked yet and went to the laundry things were misplaced but they found her things that's how much they care about their patients to go the extra mile.

I came to ignite from oklahoma heart hospital on Jan 5th from having my lung operated on! Ignite was recommended highly . Since I've been in the facility there isn't anyone I dislike or have issues with, the whole team bends over backwards to help you no matter what is needed. Ignite Medical Resort in Oklahoma City is the place to go for superior care in every way!! I came to IGNITE from Baptist Hospital following a broken femur and surgery. I’m 70 yrs and have been involved in and around medicine my whole life. This facility and all the staff go above and beyond any of my expectations. From housekeeping to the RNs and everyone in between they go that extra mile, treating you like family. Physical therapy is unbelievable. They work so hard to help you get as independent as possible. The food is delicious and home made from scratch! Derrik is over dietary and he is bringing it up to what you would expect from a 5 star luxury resort. Just a few of the exceptional staff are Chaunte, Fay and Marty in physical therapy, Derrick over dietary and Betty in the kitchen, Rachael and Taylor the RN, and Liz my CNA. A great big shout out to Jawaun my case manager. I can’t begin to say how special Chaunte and Faye have been in all their encouraging and gentle push for me to reach every step to being independent again. If you need that extra help to regain your independence you won’t be disappointed coming to IGNITE MEDICAL RESORT IN OKLAHOMA CITY!! I came to Ignite from. OU medical . The first visit i just left i was scared and frustrated . This was a mistake and its been the best decision ive made to return, I could not do it on my own. Staff have pushed me so hard I feel i am doing things myself. I went from being unable to stand to walking all over on my own after only two days. Therapy is amazing and i would recommend to anyone . I know its hard to not give up but if you stick with them you will recover!!! Brandi has had the most impact on me thank you. Jodi in hospitality made me a welcome back sign and it means the world to me especially after storming out my first time the way i did, for them to care so much to think to welcome me with open arms just wow! My mother was just admitted due to Covid. Everything seems to be on the up and up at this point. Communication has been good. I was able to arrange a video call with my mother and it happened on schedule. Jodi Was very helpful in speaking with me to arrange the call and check to see if my mother needed anything and even helped her get a drink during the call. I came to ignite from mercy with covid mercy recommended Ignite . nursing staff took me right in at Ignite never making me feel alone and always checking on me. I want to shout out my girls in hospitality for making me feel normal and real life , not like I'm just in a room. Its easy to lose yourself . From Philip Boyd on Susan’s email: outstanding ot and pt staff. Nurses were quite professional as were some of the nursing assistants. Food prep was lousy and not willing or able to follow doctor orders or guest requests. Laundry staff were incompetent. Am still missing 3 pairs of shorts and a pair of compression socks. My driver for dialysis trips, DJ, was excellent. Resort does not live up to popular definition of the word.

I came to ignite for rehab I've had some issues here and there but nothing is perfect . I've voiced personal concerns and been heard and listened too . The ladies in hospitality have been on top of things making sure to check in with me and get the people to me I need to see to resolve my concerns if any. Peirre in therapy is awesome the way he communicates and goals he sets are just wonderful for treatment . This is a really good place to go for rehab. The staff is friendly and upbeat. Denise, O.T., Amy, P.T. and the speech therapist were all accomodating. Jawaun and Ashley with transport both get *****. I had a friend of the family that was at the Resort recovering and I called to check on him a couple of times, I spoke with a woman in Hospitality, I believe her name was Jodi. She was very professional and gave me some of the information that I had requested about my friend. She offered to call me back when she had the rest of the information that I had asked for but I told her that I would call her back when I had a few minutes. She told me that when I called back that I could ask to speak with her or Madison, I believe was the other woman’s name. When I did call back I spoke with Jodi again and she had the rest of the information that I wanted, again she was very professional and kind and most importantly to me she seemed as though she actually cared about my friend and his situation. Thank you very much my friend is back home doing well.

I came from baptist hospital to ignite for rehab. I couldn't ask for better staff they truly care and did anything I needed. Theraphy was very good and more than I could ask for. Hospitality is very helpful and I would recommend ignite to all and any needing such care thank you all.

Hospitality staff is very friendly and timely on their responses. Due to covid-19 restrictions, visitors are not allowed to enter the patient area so I am unable to comment on conditions there. Unfortunately our family member did fall the day he arrived at the facility. We were notified of it immediately.
