I did a walk through today. It was a spontaneous visit with no appointment. I was very impressed with the facility and staff. I was taken on a tour of the facility by one of owners. He was very kind and helpful. He answered all my questions and was very informative. I have asked my mothers current facility to send the referral to have her transferred to Bellevue. I’m anxiously waiting for all the paperwork and transfer to be complete. Looking forward to working with Bellevue to provide my mother with the best care in her time of need. The facility was very clean and had no odor like several if the other facilities I have visited. All the residents seems happy and content. Everyone seemed well cared for. I will be back with a review of this facility and our experience as a resident after my mom’s transfer.

I’ve been impressed with the professionalism of the staff and they seem to be not only effective but care about their elderly patients. The facility is family owned and members of the family are invested in making sure the high standards they expect are met. The staff learns the idiosyncrasies of the residents and routinely checks to see they are safe and make sure they eat and have medication when needed. Much different than the one other experience we’ve had.

I can't express the gratitude I have for the genuine concern and care Bellevue provided for my dad and our family during his rehab. From the staff, to the amazing nurses, aides, therapists and even the kitchen staff. They addressed every concern we had and did their best to accommodate our needs.

Family owned and operated. Everyone from the receptionist to the owner is happy to help whenever asked, follows through and makes sure that whatever you need, gets done. Bellevue is clean and the food is wholesome and tasty. Their roast beef is exceptional.

I was only there about 2 1/2 hours but my friend was lying in bed with a wet sheet on her. The water was out on her oxygen machine; the tray was full of the same wet sticky substance that was on her sheet. I had to point all of this out and helped clean up the tray. I’m just surprised that no one noticed any of these things in 2 1/2 hours. I wonder how long it would have gone had I not been there.

Sunday afternoon visits are comfortable in the large activity room at the end of the first hall. They have chairs, sofas, tables and all kinds of things kids can keep busy with.

When I walked through the front door I am not greeted with the stench of urine. I rarely am displeased with the smell of the facility. I appreciate the care that my loved one receives in that facility. I believe it's a great place

Pros: great nurses and dogs are allowed to visit their owners. Also decent food. Negative: my sister has been in rehab for 8 wks and not once had anyone wheeled her into the dining room or outdoors (when it's warm) even though I told rhe social worker that she wld like it since she's getting cabin fever

The Bellevue Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center is a very comfortable place and has a home feel throughout the facility. All of the Staff I encountered were polite and helpful. This was my first ever visit to this center. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the staff. The modern automated Check-In and Check-Out process was also impressive. It doesn’t have a “sick people smell.” The patient I visited was pleased with everything especially the food! It is intention to recommend this center to others in search of a very good place for their loved ones or even themselves. The Facility Managers should feel good about the service they deliver. Stay with it!

If you need a rehab center Bellevue is amazing, we have been here for almost 2 weeks and physical therapy, aids , nurses, doctors and all staff are simply the best, even the food is great. I could not of imagined such a great experience. If we or any one we know needs something like this in the future, we will come back here and recommend it to anyone who needs someplace

I must say mostly everything that I have experienced has been very professional. There was a small yet serious situation where one of the patients was out in the parking lot in her wheelchair, she seemed to be confused a little. Others were out side of the facility and I asked if the visitors knew her , but they did not . So I rolled her back up in her wheelchair to make sure she was around a few more people. I left the facility around about 2:30/ 3:00pm. The visitors that were outside with their family members said that they would keep an eye on her. She gave me her name but honestly I can't remember what she said.

My 81 year old brother was 10 days in skilled nursing. I’ve had experience with other facilities in OKC area and Bellevue was by far the best managed. Best staffed and clean. Laundry was processed timely. Once my brother was settled in he was very pleased with all aspects of his care and food. I recommend this facility.

This family owned facility is the best around! Patient care and safety are always first! There is family/owners on site every single day of the year making sure patients are well taken care of. The nursing staff is lead by a great team that make sure patients receive the best care! The therapy team is top notch and work closely with patients and the families to ensure a speedy recovery. With times like now Bellevue does everything they can to make sure the patients and families stay connected and informed. My Grandma was there for two months and I cannot thank everyone enough for how well she recovered and safe we all felt with her there! The Thompson family takes care of every patient like it’s their own!! Highly recommend this amazing facility!

Patsy arrived at Belleview on July 14th. The protocol called for 5 physical & 5 occupational therapy sessions per week. Never happened. She was lucky to get maybe three sessions each per week and they counted as a therapy session when the therapist was supposedly documenting what was accomplished. I was told on the 2nd of August there would be no therapy so they could document accomplishments for discharge on August 4th. The only documents I received on the 4th were prescription summary and goals for therapy sessions per week. When I checked Patsy in on the 14th of July, we discussed all expectations including number of showers per week(2). She had two showers in 20 full days she was there and only when I asked. When she needed assistance to use toilet the employees would leave her on toilet and not come back. One night she lost her balance and fell backward hitting her head, back and knee on furniture. We met with administration leaders on 7/26 for a discussion of plan and was told she was doing well and told she was going to be discharged on 8/4. I asked how that was determined and was told she would be ready. Since the 26th she had a total of approximately 4 full physical therapy sessions and 2 occupational. This is the second time Patsy has visited Belleview. She was there for 6 weeks in summer of 2021 and this stay. She was on the same ward each time. The June 2021 staff was excellent. This session not so much. It appeared to be disorganized except for billing LOL. Very disappointed in physical therapy effort after what was told goals were. Food service is good and room was kept clean. Employees appeared to be overwhelmed at times but were always professional.

This was the 2nd time my Husband has been to Bellevue. Everyone that is employed there is great! They all know their jobs and are truly concerned about the patients. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I would recommend if anyone needs a rehab center Bellevue is the place to go.

My 82 year old dad was in a near fatal head on collision Dec 28, 2021. Following an extended stay at OU Medical Center he spent almost a month at a skilled nursing facility in south OKC. Their lack of care and neglect resulted in another hospital stay, this time at Integris Southwest. We were having difficulty finding a skilled nursing facility to accept him. That’s when a close friend told me about Bellevue. He didn’t qualify, at the time of admission for skilled nursing, but they did welcome him with open arms to their long term care facility. I’ve not experienced a more loving, caring, and compassionate group of people. From administration to every level of nursing personnel. How I wish he would have been at Bellevue initially! They soon moved him to skilled nursing and he has improved dramatically. This Thursday he will discharge to join my mom in an assisted living facility, where he will continue his recovery through home health services. There’s not enough room or enough kind worlds for me to brag on Bellevue. They are pro active. Keep in constant contact with family. And care the way that Jesus does. If your loved one needs any type of short term or long term care, no need to look any further than Bellevue!

Bellevue is the best skilled nursing facility in OKC. Mom has been in multiple SNFs through the years. Most glorified nursing homes with minimal rehab. Do not be deceived by Bellevue’s dated facility! Under their care, mom got significantly stronger more quickly. They are an amazing rehab facility with caring, wonderful staff. After Mom fell, we brought her back to Bellevue to build muscle so she can continue to live on her own.

My Mom lived at Bellevue for over a year, they take great care of their patients and always make them feel welcome, she really enjoyed living there and she loved the staff. I like that they are constantly updating, cleaning and making improvements to the facility to meet the needs of the residents and to make them feel at home. I also like that it is family owned and operated, I definitely recommend it!

We have been on this trip twice to Bellevue. First, it came highly recommended which was a plus. We stayed for a little over a month so my mom could receive her physical therapy after hip replacement. They have the patients divided up so it’s easy on the families. For example, I don’t have to walk down a long ball with those patients have chosen this as a residence. I walk down the hall where patients will eventually go home to their families. Let me say this- if this should become my mom’s residence- we would have chosen a great facility. The staff treat her very special and you get out what you put in. She pours her love into every nurse or staff member that comes to check on her. Therefore, the exchange is very pleasant. Some have mentioned you have to wait a bit if you push the button. This facility houses more than 5 residents, but your needs will be met! Best wishes!

My dad was in skilled nursing at this facility for 100 days after a massive stroke. If you are trying to choose a facility for a loved one, there is no perfect facility, especially for a person in the advanced and debilitating stages of later life. Any place your loved one goes, you will need to be his/her advocate. Bellevue was wonderful for my dad! They truly wanted to help and made changes whenever we asked. They worked together with us as a team to provide the best care possible. The people who worked there genuinely loved my dad. The therapy was amazing, and he made many new friends. Therapists and nurses prayed with him and joked with him. I would choose Bellevue over and over again for him. From the bottom of my heart, I thank Bellevue for loving my dad. The staff is very friendly & makes you feel at home The place is always clean. PT has modern equipment & staff is very professional. The only complain is they released my mom before she was completely healed. She was walking quite a few steps until about 2 days before being released. She told pt person it hurt her to do a certain exercise but he wouldn’t listen. I didn’t realize she couldn’t walk at all until I got her home.

Nurse a bit disrespectful.. came in and never acknowledged my visiting with friend as I sang prayer song ☹️Just started talking about IV bag. She left and came back again I just stopped singing. My friend, patient was puzzled at interruption too. I was sitting on bed .. not invisible. She could have taken care of IV quietly or said excuse me .

Hands down one of the nicest skilled nursing/ltc facilities around. Thompson family (owners) has a family member here 7 days a week. Bellevue has some of the best nurses and therapist I've ever seen. A lot of the employees were not trained for the job. They would ask me what to do. I had personal items stolen from me during the night. A couple of times I was brought the wrong medicine so if I didn't know what I was taking I would have taken wrong medicine. There were some employees who knew their jobs and were pleasant to deal with. PT and OT girls and guys seemed to know their jobs.

Mom was in pretty bad shape upon arrival. She could not stand alone due to inadequate care at a prior rehabilitation facility. We were told at Bellevue "We will get her back to her condition prior to her surgery". The building is an older building, but the staff inside was golden. As soon as mom pressed the call light, they were there within 30 seconds. (they have what I call "hall monitors" sitting in the hallway, just watching call lights and they immediately jumped when she called). Mom had incontinence the first few days. It can be humiliating for the patient, but the staff was kind, and assured her 'it's ok! We are here to help you! Call on us anytime!' The staff was encouraging, but not pushing beyond her limits. The administrator, Heather, made rounds every morning to check on the patients. Mom became stronger and stronger, emotionally and physically, under the care at Bellevue. Mom did not participate in the structured activities, as therapy wore her out! She was aware of activities offered, but chose to rest when she could. The food was ok. The portions were large, and nutritious. Her main complaint was "so much turkey is served, and no fresh fruit". But, that was minor compared to the care she received. (We brought her food from outside on occasion and the staff welcomed the fact she had an appetite!) After 6 weeks, she was able to walk with a walker, quite a distance, and completed all the goals the therapists set for her. Laundry service is part of the package, which I gladly accepted, so I didn't have to do it 2-3 times a week. After returning to her home, she is continuing to do the exercises she learned at Bellevue, to keep getting stronger. After so many horrific stories concerning nursing facilities, this was a breath of fresh air. I could rest assured mom was getting top notch care. I didn't have to be there every day to check on her. I am so thankful for Bellevue, their administrative staff, their nurses, their therapists, their support staff, everyone you come in contact with has a smile. You can tell they truly enjoy serving others.

I can tell you that the ONLY place I would entrust my family to is Bellevue, hands down. The staff are the best to be found, the family are awesome to their staff and the residents. Was there for 6 weeks ater a surgery, and if I ever had to choose again, I would choose this place! Everyone was very kind and helpful, even the doctors! The chef was really good and if you are really wanting something special to eat, the Chef will do what he can to get that to you! They always had music and art events going on, movie nights and Holiday specials!, Housekeeping was great also! The only thing to make it better would be for them sometimes to have more Aids, especially during shower times!

I was there for 10 days for skilled nursing after a major surgery. The entire staff including Nurses, Aides, & CNAs were excellent, cheerful, and personal. The food, however was unfortunately absolutely disgusting. Everything was canned, fried, carbs, starch, and sugar. Even the eggs were instant and that’s just lazy. I did not see any fresh fruit or vegetable come out of that kitchen. One night there was a long black hair in my food! Family brought me fresh spinach salad and fresh fruit. You are only as healthy as the food you eat.

Our Mother was at Bellevue for a period of three (3) weeks due to an automobile accident. She had to have extensive rehabilitation to heal properly. Without a doubt, she received the best physical therapy that she has ever received. The Therapist made sure that Mother could walk again without a problem. My husband & I were in a serious accident in OKC while driving a semi In January 2013. We went through extensive rehab before being placed short term in Bellevue in Feb of 2013. I wasn't able to travel immediately due to my injuries (we live out of state), so was placed here until we could travel. While here, it was very hard on us due to our ages (I am 51, hubby is 55), but the owners & staff bent over backwards to make us comfortable there, and to help us in any way they could. The owners personally bought snacks for me to eat that I liked, (I'm way too picky for my own good-plus I'm diabetic.), and the CNA's were fantastic! I am not an easy person to deal with, and with being put in a nursing home, I had alot of anger towards the situation I was in, so took it out on everyone else. I can't even begin to describe how this place did their best to put up with us--mainly me! The place never smelled bad which was a major help in our stay there. The owners personally stopped in to say hi daily, or dealt with whatever I was complaining about. This is not a typical nursing home as far as I am concerned. It goes above and beyond all the others to make it a HOME for the long term people, and to make sure your stay is good. The aides are very respectful, and they don't just do a "job" there--they really care about the people there-including my cranky attitude I had! We stayed till the middle of March, and looking back I'm glad we were there and not at some of the other places I've heard and read revues about. We are "young" compared to most of the people there. If they took this good care of me (with me totally driving some of them nuts complaining about ANYTHING), they are one caring place! I would recommend this place to anyone. They honestly care!!

My grandmother spent a number of weeks at Bellvue, and our entire family was impressed. It was open and bright, and the staff was wonderful. She was the 2nd member of our family who spent time at this facility. She enjoyed the in-house beauty shop, and the food was pretty good. I would definately recommend the facility.

Heather/Nancy you and the rest of the staff made a bad situation bearable, and in the end it became not only bearable but almost enjoyable. The physical therapy, and occupational therapy team made me strong enough to leave your facility... Nurses Regina and Fish also contributed to my recuperative effort along with medical dispensing personnel, Graciel [A] { an inside joke with her and me} and Daniela who performed their duties in an exemplary manner... In the coming three months I hope to have my left hip joint replace an will be returning to your facility. Most of the reviews are from people who have family that died there? The couple in accident younger and able to speak up more easily than those older or with diminished mental capacity. I am just now getting a first hand experience. Reputation is good and lots of recommendations, but the goal is for Rehab and to return home.

They are okay but saying mom isn't progressing fast enough so they are kicking her out. My mom has no right shoulder and no right leg. I talked to medicare and they said they will pay as long as she has days left and is doing therapy. She has days left and is doing therapy. The home said well she's not progressing fast enough.
