Reviews of Warner Grand Theater
I attended the Chanticleer concert here Thursday evening. The theater is absolutely gorgeous! The details in the decor are stunning. This is truly a gem in our city.
The seats are comfortable and feel spacious compared to other venues in town. The acoustics were wonderful. It was easy to hear every single glorious tone.
If you go, be sure to read the requirements for events. Proof of vaccination and a photo ID were both required for this concert (and at all concerts here). Masks are required at all times inside the building.
MSO has a fantastic home now! I can’t wait to hear them perform here.
Fabulous renivation!! If there is a special gust group with electrical instruments make sure to sit farther back on main floor, or balcony. The house speakers are very high above the stage. You can not hear those at all in first 5-10 rows! We went to Rolling Stones tributes and was disappointed sitting Row 2 center, couldn't hear guitars! We move to balcony and it sounded great! We sat up there for the fantastic Beatles show, it sounded great and we could see the whole orchastra!
Absolutely stunning venue. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. Also gave their turkey sandwich a try, and goodness was it delicious. Highly recommend visiting for a show!
Gorgeous. Absolutely Gorgeous. Beautifully renovated space to enjoy the MSO. Milwaukee is lucky to have the Warner Grand Theater.
Tonight was our first concert in the new home of the Milwaukee symphony orchestra. It was fantastic. The renovations on the old theater brought it beyond its 1930's glory days. The acoustics were incredible. I can't wait for our next concert.
Stunning renovation completes Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra new home. Attended one of the first limited-seating concerts in the Warner Grand and it is not only a visual gem brought back to life but also an acoustic triumph. Especially as a concert hall. Hats off to all involved. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
Beautifully restored old theater is the perfect new home for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra! Handel's Messiah was spectacular!
Went to see Handel's Messiah and was not disappointed. Phenomenal show, in an incredible building. Would definitely come again for another show.
Beautiful! Amazing restoration and activation of a formerly vacant space. The sound is incredible, way above and beyond expectations.
I went to see the opening concert for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. It is a beautiful theater and they did an amazing job on the renovations. There is not a bad seat in the house. The theater part has so many wonderful details. From the light fixtures to the seats to the murals on the walls. The new lobby and gathering spaces are bright and modern with the grand staircase being a focal point.
We saw the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra perform with Stewart Copeland. It was phenomenal! The theater is beautiful, 100 years old it's always a privilege to hear a great concert and see a great show while taking a step into a historical landmark.
Renovation is stunning. Sound quality doesn't get any better. Well done, Milwaukee!
Beautiful place-fitting home for the Milwaukee Symphony. They did a great job restoring and adding modern touches. I was impressed, visited during Doors Open Milwaukee-enjiyed the 25 min show. I will definitely come back to see a full show as the experience was really enjoyable.
Beautiful remodel of a historic building. Bar areas are located as to not interfere with traffic flow in and out of the hall. Acoustics made the orchestra sound wonderful as we listened to the holiday pops.
Just beautiful. The choral area for Handel's Messiah bothered me less when we were there. The 4 solo artists were amazing. The MSO's conductor is a treat to watch. He puts his whole self into the music. Seats are comfy, rest rooms are acceptable. Bravo.
Everyone needs to see this refurbished theater. It's spectacular! What a fabulous job they did with this new home for the MSO. Great venue for the Music of the Rolling Stones.
"Grand" really describes the interior of the Art Nouveau performance space, now that it is renovated for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. There are many people at the entrance to help the audience quickly get through the Covid requirements, and answer any questions. It is so nice to be listening to our supremely special local Symphony within a very connected audience! The lobby is spacious, and so far, the Ladies Room has been adequate! Parking from car to door is about a two-block walk, which is OK now but will be harder when it gets colder. Also costs $15, which can preclude an after - show treat sometimes.
The restoration is wonderful and the old and new is seamless. I cannot wait to see the symphony here. They have done such a marvelous job. The facility is state of the art but still has immense amounts of old character. And there's not a bad seat in the house.
New Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra location after remodel. Beautiful.
Beautiful space. The marble entryway lobby is grand. Great acoustics in the symphony hall. Very generous gathering space with bar to accommodate large crowd for intermission.
We went to see the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra perform Star wars second movie score. The performance was spectacular. The John Williams score was a difficult score to perform.
The Symphony Orchestra did the job and got a ten minute standing ovation for the performance.
The audio ambience was spectacular. The renivation was beautiful. The inside of the Warner has to be seen to be appreciated.
My wife and I celebrated our 51st wedding aniversiry viewing this performance. We dolled up for the performance and deserved our respect. GREAT JOB!!!
I am volunteer ushering here for the first time and all I can say is WOW! Everyone should find a way to walk through this amazing restoration. It's breathtakingly beautiful and takes you back in time while reminding you it's today.
Beautiful new venue for the MSO. ONE complaint: see the bright glare in the picture? There are two banks of floods pointed at the audience. Whose idea was that? Maybe the floor seats aren't affected but the balcony gets it in the eyes.
Beautiful place, great concert, good food REASONABLE prices.
Beautifully maintained, however not as balanced as it could be.....some areas are tight and cramped, and others so spacious you could get lost....maybe they should add statuettes or plants in the "bar" area???
Came to see Stuart Copeland, very impressed with performance. MSO is very good; this is the second time I've seen them perform, and they did not disappoint.
And the venue is gorgeous!
Milwaukee Symphony with my favorite conductor, Andreas Delfts and pianist Olga Kern. Beautiful restoration of an old building. Great addition to downtown Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's new home is amazing! As was the symphony's grand opening performance. It will be aired on PBS in December.
This 'grand' theatre building was rehabbed by, and for, the Milwaukee Symphony - the sound quality is terrific, and of course the opulence of a bygone era is wonderful.
So beautiful! Each time I go, I see more beauty in this new location, and the acoustics are phenomenal. BTW, parking is easy!
Stunning mirrored lobby and beautiful performance hall. Seamlessly merged newly created elements with original antiques. Thoughtful, intentional, but not literal design elements.
Beautifully restored with excellent acoustics. The balcony stairs need care when using them.
Beautiful venue, friendly service!!
Absolutely beautiful! The acoustics were amazing. I remember when it was a theater. Fantastic job renovating it.
Spectacular facility. Excellent acoustics.
Beautiful theater and great performance by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
This is the new home of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. The sound is wonderful in there, and the symphony is superb!
Loved the renovation! Beautiful concert hall, really enjoyed the symphony.
Great Hall! Amazing conductor, orchestra and chorus. Definitely a must to experience.
A magical performance between Return of the Jedi and MSO.
Gorgeous venue. Acoustics were wonderful
