Cloudy Cowboy

For the car enthusiast, the rustic metal collector or the rat rod fan, this collection has them all! With ingenuity and creativity abundant, the fruits of their labor is on full display. Each car has a unique style and purpose. As u first walk in, there is a wide variety of merchandise to commemorate your visit. Great selection of shirts, and stickers. Don’t forget to look above at the 30’s vehicles forever stuck in time, aged by the environment they were found in. Throughout the museum, there are old relics just as they were found along with an old shop that is full of old tools, a boat motor, old implements, all strategically placed to look like they’ve been laying there for 100 years. The first car is the cancer car a 31 Ford which is for sale. It’s made to look rough and tough and ugly like cancer is, and is in honor of those who are battling this terrible disease. A great experience I’m not sure to forget! Only thing better would be to get a tour of the working shop and see these great builds in progress!

We were welcomed by Tom, who is an awesome guy who added to the Welderup experience! Just had to share that this place was one of the highlights of being in the city for the week. Great detail, amazing effort put into everything and great merchandise. Will definitely come back again!

Very cool place to visit! If you were a fan of the show then I highly recommend taking the shop tour. According to the employee, Welder Up show was cancelled due to a disagreement in which Steve did not wish to change the foundation of the belief's of how the shop/crew was created & filmed when asked to conform to the channels beliefs or guidelines. I thought that was pretty cool! Anyway, great place to hangout and see some cool hotrod's!

Had a great time here on the self-guided tour. The staff is very friendly and eager to talk about the items in the showroom. They had some pretty radical looking stuff here. Very creative! Looks just like it did on the TV shows. We'll come back again.

Really great display of some of the trucks on the show, my husband even got to meet Justin! We just went for the free walk round but he was kind enough to take a photo. They do paid for tours But they didn’t have a date available for when we were out there which was a shame, even so it was great to walk around, we saw a family with young kids and the kids loved it. They also have a gift shop. It’s a bit of a way off the strip but worth the visit

Nice cars on display in the free bit. We didn't take the tour as we didn't know you had to pre-book and also didn't realise how expensive it was for the tour but we did get to see some of the cars started up on the first half of the tour which was awesome! Great photo ops and a chance to buy some merch, was disappointed by the ladies sizing but not unusual for these kind of places. Alot of effort has gone into staging the collection in the most artistic way, so if you like that kind of thing you won't be disappointed!

What a great place to spend some time walking around looking at lots of the amazing cars and trucks built on Vegas rat rods close up. Very friendly staff with lots of tshirts and other welder up souvenirs. We were there when they were filming and got to see some of the filming being done it was amazing. Don't forget to sign the waiver you are walking into part of a working shop. I would love to come back the next time I'm in Vegas.

Signed up for the behind the scenes tour since I was going to be in town for the SEMA show. Best $89 I spent while in Vegas! The tour lasted almost 3 hours and Steve was wildly entertaining with his stories and explanations. It was a blast to see some of the builds in person and up close after seeing them previously on TV.

Waited a long time to go to the shop. Saw a lot of the cars shown on tv. Had a great time. It is smaller than you think but you get to get up close to the cars...no ropes keeping you back. Nice little gift shop as well.

Amazing place with one of a kind automotive art. Words cannot convey the details and beauty that theae cars and trucks have, each and everyone has a story. Charger with a Cummings and 2 turbo charges. Batmobile looks a tad out of place with everything else. Free to go in and well worth it.

It was good to see Welderup again. I was hoping for a glimpse of the stars of the show but sadly I had no such luck. There were some lovely vehicles outside which took me a while to thoroughly inspect. I was going to buy a few Tee shirts as my old Welderup ones are a bit worn out but when I saw the price, I decided to look after my old ones a bit more, it's a shame that the prices have shot up and the quality is quite poor compared the old ones.

Always a badass place to visit when your in Vegas!!! Take pictures with the cars and they have a gift shop inside. Sometimes the staff is in the garage or outback working and you see them through the fence.

We visited the shop in Las Vegas on April 16, 2022 and what a nice experience! We loved seeing some of the cars from the show. The gentleman who was tending the shop was the sweetest man and even gave our daughter and sticker and a signed poster! He was very kind. We even learned that the crew was having a show at the Stratosphere that very day and we were very bummed that we would miss it! Anyway, we had a nice time and I would recommend this stop if you’re into super cool car and truck builds. Oh also, the music was great too! Awesome place that showcases rat rods. We visiting this place in the afternoon, signed a waiver!? And went in. The rat rods look really cool, there weren't many people inside so we had lots of fun looking at the beautiful engine designs, interiors and so on. We took lots of pictures. We were told that they will be expanding the whole area in the near future. We will be sure to check it out again!

Only reason I gave it 4 stars is really my fault, for not realizing this was a showroom and not the actual shop. Having said that it is a 5 star showroom/museum experience, they have quite a few cars/trucks to see. You can see the craftsmanship that went into each build and tell these guys really do like their work. The Joker was over the top.......2 turbos a blower and 2 NOS tanks, pure horsepower insanity! Keep up the great work Welderup and next time I'm going on the Friday shop tour.

We really enjoyed the shop and got to speak with Justin while he worked on a chopper. Very down to earth people. The shop is laid out like a museum in ways. Makes it very interesting to go through. The shop is unassuming from outside, but once you get closer you can't mistake the vehicles outside. Well worth going.

We came by to see the shop and cars. Incredible craftsmanship in these rods. What an awesome team. The showroom was fantastic and allowed you to get up close and personal with the cars which I thought was awesome. I left with a ton of great ideas for my own rats. The shop itself is adjacent to the showroom and I could hear grinders going. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to schedule the personal tour but even if you can’t, I definitely recommend checking out the showroom!

This garage is amazing. I have already gone four times and I do not mess. even if you do not like the rats take the time to look at the details of manufacturing it's really art. I cant say enough about the shop and the owner Steve. The private tour he offers is amazing and personable. The fact he himself come out and tells you the stories on the cars and fires them up so you can hear them makes it fun. Also you can stand there and talk with him. As with any TV show you never really know what's real and what's TV Seeing the cars and trucks in person removed all doubts about it only being for TV. Now more than ever I admire Steve's vision and the crews fabricating ability. I have built cars since I was a kid. If you watch the Vegas Rat Rods show you know all about this place. Amazing creativity when it comes to their cars and very welcoming staff. The shop is very close to the Las Vegas strip. Good selection of souvenirs available here as well. A short walk from the Fashion show Mall. (a good place to leave the wives).

Very cool place. It's setup with out barriers in the museum, you can walk right up to the cars the have on display. There is no access to or viewing of the shop. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Worth the stop.

We were unable to take the tour as we were too late, but we were able to look through the shop and the back display. Joe was in and I can't express fully how amazing and friendly he was. Joe chatted with my boyfriend (who can go on and on - lol) past closing, and in no way seemed to be rushed to get us out. The most amazing down to earth people I have ever met. From Steve, and Justin to the sweetest woman ever behind the counter. I've been to Vegas over a dozen times and they made my best memory ever. What a cool shop and showroom its amazing to see where the show is made and hear the stories about how long it takes to film a season. I had know idea how they put those shows together but welder up or vegas rat rods is one of the most interesting and entertaining. I love the way they leave the patina and rust character on the builds. Have a 91 D250 with a 12 valve cummins I would love to turn over to Steve and the crew. What you can see here is so unique, the vehicles are totally reinvented in such an artistic way that fits Las Vegas and the surrounding desert. Took my family there Friday and it was a cool little shop. I bought two shirts and a hat. The prices were fare on the clothing and the lady working there was friendly. You could look up close and really check out all the stuff. They only that sucked is when my 5 year old had to use the rest room we asked and she said sorry we do not have a restroom. Being we took a cab there I had to walk my 5 year old at least 3 blocks to a restroom we could use. So i would say go check it out but pee before you get there. I did not think a business that sold merchandise does not even have a porta potty.

Out of all the TV show places in Vegas this place is the best, the efforts he went to for the display are above and beyond. I think he even gauged out the space just enough for perfect pictures. The only complaint is have is the chick at the register was more into Bullshitting with other employees & taking personal phone calls than making a $120 sale, I was about to walk out. The scheduled behind the scenes shop tour is incredible. Steve Darnell is so cool and sincere. He and his staff/buddies were so cool as well, and really shared so much of their stories that you felt like you made new friends. I highly recommend the shop tour. It was $89 but was 2.5 hrs long, included a t-shirt, a photo poster of Steve, Welderup stickers and welderup poker chip. Steve explained and started almost every ride in the shop. The sound of these engines was every guy/gearhead's dream. I haven't seen all seasons of Vegas Rat Rods, but I'm going home to watch every episode now...lol.

Call before going to the tour, we got there st 11:15 no one was there and it says they open at 11. We walked in the heart to the main gate top get a Lyft bank to our hotel as a woman and child got our if a white truck to other the other side if the gate..... assuming sure was late she wasn't even courteous enough to say she was late and opening or anything she acted like we didn't exist and moved on.... we came from out of state like most and that did not look good! This place is hard to see: look for the green sign at the chain link gate, then drive all the way in and turn left at their building to see their main guest entrance. Very cool museum of ratrods which you can see for free, plus they do paid tours.

The staff was friendly and the t-shirts were priced accordingly which they have bigger sizes at least a 4X or 3x maybe a 5X there's a lot of fat people in the world we need coats and shirts too we got money that's what I would change
