This is a nice place to go if you want to spend a couple of hours at a couple of decent museums and some short outdoor walks...It's a nice break from the bustle of the strip if you're visiting. Of course some of the museums are geared towards the younger set, and the gardens you can probably walk through in about 10 or 15 minutes, but it's a nice place to sit and relax and view the beautiful plant life. The museums are geared mostly to kids under 10. But the state museum is quite good...

I love the butterfly exhibit when it is there. I hope they have the "Trunk or Treat" this year, my kids love it! Season pass is so worth the money, this place gets my kids out and walking! Photos are from various visits😍 …

Kids love the rotating exhibit, butterfly habitat, splash pad and small animal area. Two children's playground - small toddler size with splash pad and big kids. Train around the park is more for adults as they give history if the area that kids may find boring.

Excellent day, great for all ages, a couple of discovery museums, I suggest going to the Nevada state museum first. Water park, butterflies, train ride.

Fun place to spend the day. Learned a lot about the Las Vegas desert wildlife and history of the city. Very interactive and lots to do. They had a butterfly exhibit while we were there and it was one of my favorite parts, as well as Boomtown.

Part of the overall complex is a botanic garden with several themes, wetlands being the most surprising among them.

Beautiful gardens and a couple of nice small museums. Spent 3 hours there easily. Would recommend if you have some time to kill. Will be going back just to walk the park.

Loved this place!!! Originally went just seeking a botanical garden but found sooo much more. Spent about 3 hrs here and there was still so much we didn't do. Definitely going back. Not bad for the price!!!

The people were awesome, kind and helpful. Talked to five different people they all smiled and were really caring people. This is on top of the awesome garden paths and trails. We joined because it is a great place to walk and we want to be part of their club.

Yo, the Gardens at the Spring Preserves is quite beautiful. I recommend a walk through if you need to decompress. It's a very therapeutic atmosphere. It's a wonderful place to bring the entire family. The kids will have fun, the adults will learn about the history of how the pioneers settled Las Vegas. Very interesting and lots of things to see and show.. 1 day maybe won't be enough to see..

Gorgeous garden but you need to get there early in the Summertime. They stop running the train if the heat is over 105°F. We'll be back.

I really am surprised how lush they make the desert here! It’s incredible how green and beautiful it all is. My one problem, is they only label some plants, randomly it seems. Most are not labeled, perhaps to prevent repeats, but even still, for a museum type experience I’d expect all the plants to have labels, not just some here or there.

Springs Preserves is a great place to take the family. Our grandkids love going there with us. Butterfly Habitat (seasonally), the train, the playground, looking at the animals and displays in the Origen. We will show them Waterworks next visit. Becoming a member makes it easy to visit whenever we want.

We took our granddaughter who was 15 months old. Butterfly exhibit was amazing. It was decorated for Halloween. Nice grounds and good walking trails.

I went there early about 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday. I went just to run on the trails but the security guard told me I could not park there until 8 am. However they were having a organized walk and said I could not do it at all on this Saturday. I asked if I parked somewhere else could I run before the organized walk. He said only if I was a member which I was not being from out of town. There may be a conspiracy to stop me from getting my jog in this morning😬🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

WOW!! Every person who lives in Las Vegas needs to RUN not walk and visit the glorious oasis in the middle of our city..I've libed here a year an finally got to go and wish I had gone sooner! What a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary...loved it will be taking all visitors ..

The gardens is beautiful, The animal exhibit with the fox, lizards, it looked like a playground area for the children was amazing little sandbox to explore and dig up things were cool, the polar exhibit was amazing, learning about the lake and the flood exhibit was also amazing, and the recycled exhibit was amazing as well..loved it i want to see the rest of the springs preserve..especially the butterfly exhibit..my 1st time as a chaperone with my granddaughter and sisters 2nd grade classes was the best experience ever!!!.🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘🤙🤙🤙

Really if I have magical power then I make it too biggest garden in the world becoz of it's have an great environment and purify air for us . It all polluted air pure and filterised by this garden plant . Such a big garden and finally too good for a fresh and healthy health for human being

Love going to this place. The garden area is wonderful to walk through. Parts are paved and the rest is hard packed ground that is easy to walk. Very relaxing to walk through.
