Reviews of Tuttle Orchards
Very impressive operation.. very well organized to handle large groups of people quickly. Lots of things to do for kiddos; pick your pumpkin, pick your Apples, corn maze, hayride, and food. Our group broke up at the entrance 2 to the food line 2 to the corn line. Food Lion was three times the corn line and yet we both sat down together at the same time. First timer and was very impressed. Country store carries Mini delectable diet Busters... Hats off to Tuttles Orchard and their staff!
First time visiting with my toddler and it was a blast! Very inexpensive for everything they offer. We enjoyed picking apples and they had a little farm town set up for the kiddos that my toddler played in for a couple hours. We are already planning our next trip there for pumpkin picking and tractor rides.
Tuttle Orchard is an amazing place to enjoy apple picking, picking pumpkins, enjoy the Cafe or the store with yummy donuts, cider, and more. The prices are great for everything. It is Free to come onto the grounds. There is a charge for the playground and the hayride, but well worth the small prices. Plenty of seating to enjoy the food or drink you get with family and friends. We enjoy Tuttle every year. I took my girls when small and now my grown daughter take their children and me...aka.Grandma A++
Great atmosphere! Attended as apart of a field trip. Loved the apple cider samples. Will definitely return to grab some cider slushies. Tour guide Jim and Gerald were very informative and great with the kids.
Took the family today and what a great experience it was! The sweet corn and pulled pork is amazing! Definitely recommend. Plenty for kids to do
Enjoyed shopping at the farm store, where they have apples, preserves of all kinds, meats, veggies and unique foods too !!
Then we walked to the restaurant where we enjoyed delicious, creamy potato soup with a ham & cheese sandwich, chilled apple cider, also ate some apple butter on a thick slice of toast !! Delicious !! We highly recommend Tuttle's !!
Definitely a fun experience with small to big kids. Tractor town (park) , corn maze, flower picking, Apple picking, random yard games.... There's enough for a few hours time. Lunch ranges 5$(kids meals) - about $12 ( no drinks included)
It definitely tired my toddlers out! 😁
I absolutely love Tuttles Orchard! I brought my two year old with me & we picked apples from their new apple trees. It was my first time trying crimson crisps apples & they were delicious. We had lunch at the cafe, I had the black bean sandwich with chips, she had the kids grilled cheese. I like that they expanded farm store to the outside, we had more room to shop. The tractor ride was nice, my daughter loved spotting the pumpkins growing in the field. Tractor Town was very enjoyable for her. It's fun for toddlers & older kids.
Our family has been coming here for years. It's truly wonderful. Keep an eye out for year round activities! Their food is great but I wish they'd bring back their Roni Ruben sandwich along with Broad Ripple chips. Next year, perhaps?
Such a wholesome experience for my family! I don't know whose idea it was to put a red velvet wingback chair in the orchard but it makes for some awesome impromptu portraits!
We just love stopping at Tuttle Orchards.
Our chicken pot pie was fabulous. The gifts we sent to fabulous
Thank you for amazing friendly customer service
Brand new on the food snack menu is the ham and brie melt. It includes thinly sliced apples on a delicious bun. This sandwich is a winner. It's got a little "kick" to it, and the apples lighten the taste nicely.
My wife got the Turkey Harvest Wrap which she could not even finish because it so big.
Our food took perhaps 10 short minutes because it's made fresh. Tuttles remodeled everything. We ate in the covered greenhouse on a rainy day and LOVED the sound of the rain on the roof.
It was a short drive from Indy but you are transported to a much different environment. It was excellent.
Great place for family fun and outing in summer.
Site attractions are apple picking , pumpkin patch, strawberry picking, flowers and many more also don't forget to take 20 min tractor ride and enjoy various apple receipe in food Court
The orchard was in very excellent condition. The area for the kids was good, lots of children on the grounds this Saturday. My cousin and our neighbor had our lunch on the grounds today. Lots people traffic on the grounds today as you look for the fall season to arrive this coming week in the year 2021.
I've been bringing my kids here for over 20 years, and every time has been a fun time for all! The apple cider slushies are something to look forward to every fall, and the pumpkin patch experience is something that every kid should get to do at least a few times in their childhood :-)
I honestly never do reviews but I really felt this place deserved one. A organization that I am a part of recently stopped at Tuttle Orchards for a tour and it was amazing. The employees were so kind and I loved that they allowed us to see how they make their products. They also have lots of fun things to do in October and November including a fun corn maze lots of spots to take pictures and many more! aWe taste tested some of the delicious items that they sell in their store and I even bought more to bring home. I loved this place and highly recommended you stopping by!
Very cute, but they definitely take advantage of the fact that they're the only orchard nearby by how much they charge for everything. Plus their food selection is so small. Took us walking for a long time before we could even find a tree with apples on it.
The cider slush was good. Kids enjoyed the very expensive Tractor Town area!
While a lot of the activities are definitely aimed towards younger children, I took my 17 year old and we had a lot of fun. There was a huge variety of items in the store and my suggestion is to make sure you have someone with you willing to help carry stuff
Visited here to pick apples in early October, and lots of good trees with yummy apples! It was our first time here, and we were shocked at the size of everything. So much to see and do for kids and families. The cider and cider slushies were excellent. Parking was easy in and out. Will definitely be back.
An annual tradition for our family is to hit Tuttle Orchard for apple and pumpkin picking. Our kids love picking for themselves. The grounds are well laid out, with good signage. Helpful and friendly staff are located in many places. The café has delicious country style eats and you can't beat their apple donuts and cider. The children's playground is farm themed and they have a small petting area with llamas and goats. The orchard is real treat we look forward to every fall!
Tuttle's is a Far East side Indianapolis (Greenfield) gem. It is open year round! They have free parking. Seasonal activities are offered throughout the year. There is a large greenhouse that opens in the spring and summer. Tuttle's really shines during the fall. They offer u-pick apples and pumpkins in the fall. There is also a farm store with plenty of locally grown produce (strawberries, corn, apples, leafy greens, meats, eggs, cheese, apple cider, frozen pies, honey and so much more). The Cafe offers seasonal desserts and an assortment of sandwiches. There are tables to sit indoors or outdoors. They are CLOSED on SUNDAY!
Great place for a field trip, too!
Very interesting place. Didn't get there until late afternoon, and wasn't busy, on Monday. Just went to the farm store and restaurant. Farm store has a large variety of specialty items: apple products, jams, preserves, popcorn, honeys, and much, much more. I had a pulled pork sandwich with apple sauce and an ice tea. Also got, a carmal apple with nuts for dessert. Everything was delicious! Didn't do any of the fun stuff such as the slide, corn maze or pumpkin patch.....next time!
Everything tasted great but no need to nickel and dime everything. A family can easily drop $100 here. Had to opt against activities after getting apples and caramel apples. A bag of u pick apples and three caramel apples was $46.
Some things should be complementary if you’re getting apples. I would have felt better if I spent that much and had kid activities thrown in.
Huge place with lots to do for the kiddos. Be sure to get a cider slushie and pick some apples, and definitely go down the slides! You can also pick your own flowers. This place draws a crowd so be prepared. They do have a good set up so the lines move rather quickly. The sheriff will be out front directing traffic. Sorry, but the food is terrible. I got the pulled pork, and it was awful. Probably the worst I've ever had. Other than that, had fun!
Fun way to spend a couple hours. Has a nice play park for the kids and some live animals (small goats and a llama?). Rows and rows of full apple trees for picking. The on-site grocery has the best corn on-the-cob.
Great market with lots of local and not-so-local foods and a cafe with some tasty eats and treats. Beautiful location, friendly staff, well laid out shopping experience, plenty of tantalizing choices. Happily stocked up on fresh food and treats for our RV trip that we were in the middle of and enjoyed an apple cider slush on our way out.
Great place for apples. Bring extra money, though, if you want your kids to be able to do anything. Everything costs extra. Also, closed on Sundays, so not very family friendly if parents work and kids have school.
Great family experience! Plenty of things to do with the kids at affordable prices. The apple glaze donuts and apple cider slushies were delicious. Definitely worth a stop by.
Never thought I would be giving 3 stars, but this place has went downhill over the years. This has been a family tradition of ours for 6 years. However, this year my food was COLD, not even lukewarm. I’m disappointed they got rid of Broad Ripple Co chips, which were local chips, that come with the meal. Our family used to love their food because it was local, but not so much anymore. It’s great for children 4 and under, but my 5-year-old did not enjoy it this year. And mom and dad were disappointed with the food👎🏻
Amazing! Great activities, delish food and treats, great prices
This is one of my favorite places. The food they serve in their cafe is so good. They have delicious donuts in their store. I could go on and on.
You can pick your own apples or buy a bag from their country store. Their apple cider is much better than any grocery store variety. You also should sample every one of their apple vareties they grow along with their fresh-roasted honey peanut butter which was made fresh the day I visited. I also bought some Amish butter. They have a great "little town area" for the children to visit that includes a petting zoo.
Good, kind of expensive for food. Homemade Caramel apples were good but would have been better with a tart apple. Apple glaze and pumpkin donuts were delicious!
Finally an apple orchard that doesn’t charge an admission fee or a parking fee. Parking was plentiful. They have a bunch of Radio Flyer wagons that are in a big corral area for everyone to use so you don’t have to lug all your stuff back to the car. They have the usual stuff for kids, a HUGE corn maze, Hayrides, you can pick your own pumpkin if you want or get one out of their many bins full of HUGE pumpkins. So let me break down the cost:
Parking - Free
Admission - Free
Pumpkins - $10 each and they were massive and cheaper than what I can buy at a grocery store
Kid Play Area (slides, corn hole, a miniature corn maze, a big combine tractor the kids could sit in, swings, monkey bars, etc) - $5 per kid
Bottled Water - $1 which is reasonable
If you’re looking for a place that is affordable, with free parking, no admission fee, and reasonably priced pumpkins this is your place.
Great place. Has many things to keep children entertained, and the food is rather tasty. Currently, you must make reservations for Saturday. The chicken tacos are recommended from The Grill, which is only open on Saturdays.
We visited the apple orchards and the tractor town. My kids both loved picking the apples but neither would actually eat them when we got home and usually they love apples
Maybe next time we'll skip the picking and get them from the store. They did love the play area though. I think that was what made the trip for us. They have a lot of different themed things at different age levels. My kids loved it.
Amazing experience! We came on a Monday in October so it wasn’t too crowded. Picked apples and pumpkins then had lunch in the country store. Wasn’t expecting it to be anything incredible and the turkey wrap was amazing!! Fresh ingredients. It was outstanding!
Best thing stumble upon ever!! Lunch was amazing. Flowers are gorgeous. We had a marvelous time. Can’t wait to pick some fruit next time. 😊 …
Great place for the kids and the whole family. Wonderful produce and several different activities for everyone to enjoy.
This place is great! I had the Itallian Beef for lunch and the brought me a Salted Carmel doughnut to try. It was so good I bought a box of them. Highly recommend coming here not only to check out all the plants and market but to grab a bite to eat for lunch as well!
One of the best orchards around. Very well organized. The doughnuts were excellent with different types.
Tuttles is really straying from its roots. My most recent experience prompts this post. Three years ago I ordered cherries and got fresh cherries. Last year I ordered again and got frozen cherries from Canada. They said because their usual provider wasn't available and the cherries they got from Canada had to be frozen. They didn't bother telling us or offer our money back. This year frozen cherries again!! I picked them up in the allotted time and was AGAIN not told I'd be receiving frozen cherries. Tuttles should tell people their cherries are frozen, not fresh and let us decide if we want to spend our hard earned money with them or elsewhere.
We attended the sunflower maze every year. Then stop at their cafè and store. It's good evey year.
Such a beautiful Environment you can tell this place was built on love the food is great and of course the 🍏 cider was a great!! It was my very first time going and I’m in love I tried his ham sandwich with apples on it and it was yummy!!! …
Super fun! Tons of pumpkin selection! The staff were so nice. Plus, the food was great!
Always a great experience. I have come here ever since I was a kid and will bring my future kids as well. Prices are what to be expected for the experience and staff is always friendly.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! everyone is kind and there's so much to do. I got the red and grey hoodie and it's the most comfortable thing I have ever owned
Had an amazing time this weekend. Even though the rain meant that we got the alternate hay ride tour, it was still nice. Ida red apples are my new favorite. Kids had a lot of time to spend playing, I’m glad the play area is above the swamp level, otherwise things would have been a complete mess. Their applesauce is amazing!
Will be returning they have a lot fresh produce that they grow a long with many fruits. Jelly an jams many different flavors of butter spreads, frozen fruit pies, pot pies. Highly recommend.
This wonderful place had fresh apples and Cider available on even a rainy late winter day. I also found great service, the raw honey I was seeking, my favorite Carmel corn, egg noodles, and tomato preserves. I'll definitely go back.
Great place for family fun. Had an awesome time finding pumpkins in their pumpkin patch. Their snack cafe is awesome and full of yummy goodness. They have scrumptious hot cider and applesauce. This is a place that you MUST visit!
Always love this place! The apple cider slushy is amazing!
We love Tuttle's Orchard. From fresh vegetables to fruit, and their quiches....we are set.
They offer much more too! Cheeses. Meat.
Pies. Frozen vegetable, pot pies, and quiches.
We also enjoy their home baked doughnuts and ciders.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Found a lot of things that we couldn't find at your big box stores. Definitely will be shopping here again. Highly recommend making the short drive out there.
Nice for finding a perfect pumpkin, picking apples, visiting the store or cafe. Very friendly staff. Well done.
Adorable and full of fun for the entire family. They even have little wagons to help carry the pumpkins
Had a very nice time hiking through the sunflowers today. Their blueberry and Peach slushies were wonderful.
I love this place, even if we move from the side of the town we still keep visiting it. The food they sell it is amazing and the festival they do are cool.
Local orchard (already a huge plus) you can get ready to bake foods like pies and quiches, fresh apples, farm fresh goods from local partnered farmers, just all sorts of good stuff. The point t program is a great feature of the business, and they have a small section with children's toys for most ages.
It's a nice place. There were plenty of pumpkins but of course no apples but what can you do. My favorite part was the the baby goats.
It was great. We always come and get apples and experience the atmosphere.
This has been my go to for years. But today, I went as part of a field trip and it was AMAZING! The behind the scene is fun to learn. So well organized and fun for the kids! Every staff member is wonderful and friendly! And of course anything you buy to eat is super yummy!
Charming place, we loved the sunflowers and look forward to the pumpkin patch. Nice indoor farmers market, well stocked and laid out. Get the donuts! I don't say this lightly- these apple cinnamon ones compare equally with Long's.
Such a fun place to take your family. Best apple cider you'll ever taste! I grew up a few miles from Tuttles and would frequently ride my bike there. I live farther away now but still make it out there frequently! My in laws drive from a couple hours away to get cider! 10/10 recommend!
Tuttles is a great place for fall fun! Plenty of fun things for young kids to play on and enjoy, and picture opportunities.
There is also a corn maze and tractor rides on weekdays.
The pumpkin patch is had lots of great options early Oct.
Get there earlier to avoid the crowds!
Tuttles is a family-owned farm that has lots of great things to enjoy and experience - activities for kids, apple and pumpkin-picking, a cafe with DELICIOUS fresh food, apple cider slushies and donuts...the people are super friendly and just want their guests to have a good time. Love coming here with my family, friends, and high school students! 10/10 recommend!
I've been going to Tuttle since I was a child and having moved back to the Greenfield area, it is definitely one of the best spots around for a quick treat or some fresh fruit / veg.
I've been visiting Turtles since a child with family and on school field trips. Great place for kids to learn about agriculture with a welcoming and informed staff. As an adult I return frequently for the fall season reliving my younger days. Picking a pumpkin, walking the grounds, and drinking cider with a candy apple in hand brings the season to life.
A cute spot, albeit a little pricey. 4*s because we did enjoy our time there and were able to get some nice photos.
Great sunflowers, but I thought it was a little pricey for what you get. We loved the treats at the shop, and are planning a return visit for some grub and produce. The staff in the shop provided excellent service, and gave us good info on for their gluten free items.
We went for the apples of course! But the corn maze was super fun. The kiddos absolutely loved it!
Fun activities, not too busy on a weekday evening. Played on the playground, did a tractor ride, corn maze, and picked out pumpkins. They also have a cute farm shop with donuts, apples, cider, and tons of other locally made goods.
There is a little something for everyone at Tuttle Orchards. I was out there for three hours today with my children and grandchildren. We had such a great time in the corn maze with the activities for the kids at the dead ends in the maze; and, being able to take pictures of the kids on farm equipment, and while picking pumpkins was a real kick that made memories for years to come. On the other side of the road you will find hot cider, good food, and fresh produce. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone wishing to pick their own pumpkin for this fall.
Orders a few sandwiches, which were both great. I recommend the Fried bologna sandwich. The cider slushy was very good.
Clean farm store, professionally canned apple products, cider, pies, fresh apples. Lunch in the Cafe: sandwiches, candied apples, apple slushies. Fall mums on sale now, very full plants.
Great place. Bought some apples, Apple butter, plus a few more items. We then had the roast beef sandwich which was really good. It was served with either apple sauce or chips. I chose the apple sauce. Very good choice. Recommend visiting.
I did a group tour with my almost 2 year old and our MOPs group and we had a great time! We went on a hay ride, learned about apples, played for HOURS in tractor town, and topped it off with an apple cider slush and an apple cinnamon donut. After being there for 3.5 hours my son still didn't want to leave! We will definitely be going back! 🍎🎃
The fresh corn is easily the best around. I was hoping that the sandwiches would have a little more meat, but everything w was delicious! Candy apple is the perfect way to finish off the trip!
Fun for kids, plenty of apples, food a little pricey. Loved it
Had lunch, pulled pork sandwich and chips, very good. Service was great. Their store has lots of different items. The people who work there are great.
Love the atmosphere..very family friendly, wish I had known they had handicapped spots maybe better signs, but other than that they had a cider slushy that was awesome and pumpkins and gourds that were cool. Need to check there jams and other products out also..will be going back for sure!!!
We had a wonderful time! There were so many things to try, from waking through the apple orchard or picking out your own pumpkin, there was also great donuts and cider!
Such a fun place. They have really grown it thoughtfully since I was a kid. Lots of activities, mostly focused towards children or adults. But teenagers can enjoy it as well. It's come a long way from when it was a small shop and a green house with a hay bale maze. Food is always fresh and seasonal. And of course you can't beat the apple cider.
The ham and brie on a pretzel bun had to be the BEST sandwich I ever ate!!
The service here was fast and friendly. The quality of produce is superb!! Do NOT fail to go into the Cafe! The food is phenomenal! I highly recommend the ham and brie melt!! Chicken gnocci soup was amazing and so is the bison meatloaf sandwich. Everything is top notch and I'd rate it at 10 if I could.
First time there at Tuttle Orchards and boy we were so surprised about the quality and freshness of all their food and preparations. We highly recommend this place for all your bake goods, vegetables. ciders and their country store. Everything was outstanding.
I was just here and had a great time picking apples and going through the corn maze. The slushies and popcorns are my favorite from the shops.
Had a great time at the orchard . Loved the Carmel Apple fest
Always the freshest produce at reasonable prices. I recommend pre-ordering their seasonal specialties such as cherries and/or blueberries with pick-up.
Really nice orchard lots for kids to do. Delicious goodies
Make your own caramel apples 🍎 were fun and delicious 😋 …
Very nice clean place for children ages 2-10 in Tractor Town. Not as much action for bigger ones. All loved the apple & pumpkin picking. Good place for a 2-3 hour outing. Prices are very good. Really nice gift shop. Loved the goodies there. We had a picnic on the grounds before entering the activities. Recommend it highly.
Loved the experience! It's hard trying to navigate how to keep a place like this open during a pandemic, but Tuttle and their staff really did a great job of directing lines and practicing safety measures. It's much appreciated. We sat down to eat/drink, and all the tables were distanced as well as cleaned between each party.
Wonderful kids play area. Hot apple cider and apple donuts. OMG so good.
Great place. Great cider!! However NOT following any social distancing rules. Made reservations to show up and find hundreds of people. Orchard had previously stated only 110 people would be there. Tons of people were mask less with no enforcement whatsoever. Do not do reservations if you allow hundreds anyway. The rest of the people should have been turned away with only reservations.
The staff is so kind & very helpful. I visited Tuttle Orchards during mid to late October. My family & I didn’t the Corn Maze & Apple Picking. We also went to the Cafe & Sweet shop. There is also a hayride, pumpkin patch, & a large kid’s area. There is so much to do!! But unfortunately, my family & I didn’t have enough time to do everything! We will definitely be back in a few months! We can’t wait to visit during the Winter! I would highly recommend to everyone!!
I love Tuttle's! They have a great selection of seasonal products and local meats. Everything I've ever purchased over the last 20 years has been outstanding! Their apple varieties are my favorite.
So much fun! Pull a wagon through the patch to pick your pumpkins, or just get some near the front. 8 dollars for regular pumpkins and 2.50 (I think) or 3 for the small ones less than 6 inches diameter. They have a llama and some goats. A corn maze for 5 dollars a person, and a lot of things for kids to do it looked like. They have a cafe and sweets shop that we didn't make it to.
The food at Tuttles grill was delish!
I love going to Tuttle for apples every year. Their trees aren't far from the entrance, so great for kids. The store is also wonderful. We always grab a frozen rhubarb pie, apple butter, and other treats.
Love this place. For $5 per kid they got to play in the play zone for as long as they wanted in a safe, clean environment. Adults are free. The apple cider slushies and cafe food were really good as well. Thanks Tuttle!
My family loves the drinks, donuts, and carmel apples. The employees are all super friendly. Walking through the baked goods store and farm store is so much fun, and in the fall there are a lot of family activities like a corn maze and pumpkin patch!
We were concerned this year about visiting, however Tuttle's had everything worked out. Minimal contact throughout the entire place. The sweet store was an order ahead and grab your items inside to avoid the crowd indoors.
We go every year, and I didn't want this year to be an exception.
Thank you to another great family annual tradition!
Love this place Go every year with the family! Since I was young and I’m 26 now and it’s still the #1 thing I look forward to each year! There prices on there flowers are fantastic! They have a great shop with so many yummy things in it!
And you have to get there Cider I can’t drink any other apple cider but there’s! This place always gives me a warm feeling I love it so much! Out of all the years I have been going I have not had one bad experience and that’s saying something! Don't believe anyone who writes a bad review of this beautiful place.
Great place to spend a few hours on the weekend. Great food, produce and other locally sourced items.
Tuttle Orchards is a family owned business. All employees are helpful, kind and just great people! The Orchard is now open to inside customers. The greenhouse has fabulous plants and flowers too. I've never eaten in the Cafe but I'm sure it's good also!
I really enjoyed our family time here. We picked out a giant pumpkin, played in the tractor town, ate lunch, and shopped for some goodies in the market. Those Apple cider slushies were the bomb! 👍 …
great place lots of room to run my little had a blast! we will definitely be back
I think my sisters and I were more excited to go to Tuttles then my nieces. We all had a very good time. I absolutely LOVE the apple donuts, and hot cider (must try) if you go. The prices are really good for the quality and experience. Don't second guess, just go and enjoy!!!
Went to Tuttle Orchard yesterday for first time. The food in the cafe was amazing!! There were 9 of us..we got different sandwiches and all of us loved it! The wagon ride and corn maze was so fun and the Grankids loved the playground! Definitely making a family tradition!
The food was very good it has a very nice out side eating area
So fun for all of my family.. all ages from 9 to 52 were entertained.. bring a jacket and old tennis shoes and have a ball.. fill up on all the great farm to table options in the market and cafe
Very nice people!! Always something good to take home. I always enjoy picking my own apples! Very organized and I love the creativity put into the displays of product. Very nice! Thank you for having lactose free cheese! It's so yummy!
Amazing!!! The cinnamon donuts are perfect for breakfast or a snack. The apples that you get to pick fresh off the trees are delicious as well. The kids area is perfect for all ages and have certain parts broken out for younger kids to play.
Not only do they still have apples in stock, but also seasonal items for the home. I always buy candles and ornaments from their store every Christmas season, along with many other items. The store also has a great selection of homemade pies and quiches, which are delicious!!!
Family tradition every year!
Was able to pickup some fresh brussel sprouts, turnips, an carrots. We also was able to pickup a nice 9 inch chicken-pot pie, which warmed up this snowy evening. Nice big sausage patties for a good breakfasts in the morning. All within a great decor of a farmers market atmosphere, without the chill. Also your snow/ice removal gets 5 out of 5 stars as well, great job.
We also stopped in at the cafe an picked up a nice warm spiced cider, to top it all off. Looking forward for a return visit.
A very nice mid afternoon market stop.
Thanks for good hospitality
Love this place Go every year with the family! Since I was young and I’m 29 now and it’s stil the #1 thing I look forward to each year! Anyone who is putting a bad review on here has NO JOY in there lives!
Great pumpkin/gourd selection, yummy food in the cafe, but snippy, grouchy cafe staff and way overpriced apples. Think we’ll stick with Anderson Orchard and Apple Works.
My grandparents and mother would take me to Tuttle's when I was a kid and I continued that tradition with my children. Their market sells high quality fresh local produce, meats and other items year round. Though I definitely love making the trip up there for apples and pumpkins. I particularly love their cafe and grill (during the fall) brats with some of their applesauce on side. They source some local farms/foodies for some items like homemade chips, doughnuts, etc. Their apple cider is head and shoulders above anyone else's! A unique treasure!
My toddler loved it. He spent time picking apples. The pumpkin patch had lots of pumpkin to choose from, hayrides ,corn maze and tractor farm. We also treated ourselves to both pumpkin and apple donuts at the treat shop. We had a great experience.
Picked up their annual cherries along with their cherry fudge, cherry salsa, chocolate covered cherries, cherry jam, chocolate covered cherry dip mix and cherry glazed donuts 😋 …
This was my second time doing curbside pickup from their farm store. It's a very easy process. Both times I've gone in the afternoon, and there has not been much, if any, line. Very little wait time for them to bring out the groceries. Everyone was very friendly.
I picked up my order yesterday afternoon, and went to open up the raspberries I had ordered, and they were unfortunately molded over (raspberries can turn very quickly, I don't blame Tuttles for this). However, I called Tuttles, and someone picked up the phone right away. I told them what had happened and they immediately took my name and refunded the price of the raspberries to my card. No argument at all. So even though I didn't get to eat my raspberries, I will continue to shop at their farm store because of their service. Excellent service, great produce. I highly recommend their farm store to anyone in the area.
The place is beautiful and we enjoyed the shop. A bit pricey, but very cute items!
However, we love taking our dog along when we do outside activities. THEY DO NOT ALLOW DOGS! We don't have children so he's our boy. We had to leave, though I should have called. If you are dog enthusiasts like us, Pleasant View Orchard allows leashed dogs and their Orchard has a store and cafe as well. Just a tip!
This place can only be described as follows: simply amazing! Tuttle's has absolutely everything you could want in an orchard/pumpkin patch. This farm has it all from massive apple orchards and pumpkin patches, a shop with tons of unique options, a sweets shop that has delicious treats, a grill on Saturday's, a huge kids play area, a truly challenging corn maze and of course narrated hay rides. If you are looking for a great family Autumn experience then look no further. Tuttle has it all and for an extremely affordable price.
This place is great... good location, peaceful, they got a beautiful greenhouse and the food was good! Their produce looked great.
Always a fun place to bring the kids for fall. This year a freeze hurt the apple crop, but the store and cafe are open. Lots of pumpkins and the entire place is being ran covid safe.
Great experience! Very fun for kiddos and adults!
As more and more housing developments move in, several of our favorite fall farm places have caved to developers. Tuttle Orchards still stands. It is a bit of a drive, but it is a lot of fun. Plenty to do and see. Had some dinner and candy apples and everyone enjoyed the experience. Wish a few more of the activities on site were free, but it is what it is. Looking forward to coming back next fall!
It's always a great experience, every fall. Been going for a decade now...Every year they add something new. The pumpkin patch is great, the store stocks so much locally grown and resourced product that it is great buying from them.
One tip, if you can do it....go during the week. The weekends are crazy. The earlier, the better, any day of the week....
Stress-free orchard, pumpkin patch and goodies store all close to Indianapolis.
Very hospitable, good food at Cafe and produce is very fresh. Great local place to visit. Cider is the outstanding without any odd flavors you get from typical cider you get from the grocery.
The Cafe here is wonderful. The Italian BLT is far and away the best BLT sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. It features local Indiana bacon which is tremendous, adds high quality greens, juicy flavorful tomatoes, and a nice pesto aioli on fresh warm focaccia. This cannot be beat!
The farm store is well stocked with fresh seasonal produce and a wide variety of other items. Staff is super friendly. Tuttle Orchard is a blessing for the entire region.
Cool place to go, definitely expensive, and tons of people. The store was a little pricey but had different things. The BBQ apple butter is amazing. Skipped the grill, couldn't afford that. We got apples that seemed tasty, and we went on a tractor ride(hay ride, ours had 0 hay) and it toured some of the orchard and played a recording with info about the orchard. Slot more than just apple stuff, and be sure to check out their website. I live too far away and don't have enough money for a every year(or better yet, season) to visit here, but I highly recommend checking it out. We went on the recommendation of getting the apple cider slushies and they left some to be desired. Overall though, good experience but left my wallet a little light.
Well worth making time to visit with friends and / or family for lunch or an early dinner Excellent food, and service. Reasonable prices. I have eaten here several times and never had a bad experience.
THIS. PLACE. ROCKS. Apple picking in the fall is so much fun, and they have a pumpkin patch and lots of activities for kids. I've been coming here since I was little and it's always a ton of fun. Their apple cider is so so so good I always have to take at least a gallon home.
Everything for young to old. A nice corn maze for all. And who doesn't want to pick your own pumpkin! The apples are approx 15$ for ten pounds, cheap, delicious and fun to find the perfect one to pick!
love apple picking here
We went to Tuttles today for lunch and tractor town. It was a perfect day, slightly overcast and no field trips (thanks for the heads up on Facebook). Lunch was great. My kids loved the grilled cheese, peanut butter and applesauce. I had the chicken salad, and that croissant was amazing! My boys loved Tractor Town. The staff did a great job of adding mulch to take care of the mud where they could. We had a great afternoon ending with apple slushes and a peck of honey crisp apples!
Love this place! We took our daughter here for her first pumpkin patch experience and as usual it did not disappoint. Also very safe with Covid going on. Would always recommend
Amazing! Very kid friendly. The attractions they provide are nice for adults, too. The apple cider slushies are to die for. I will definitely return!!
The grilled cheese and bacon on sour dough was really good, and the house made applesauce was too. Nice time with friends as well.
Great place for family and friends and GREAT donuts!😊🍩 …
I've gone to Tuttle's multiple times growing up and also have worked here. Overall, I can say that Tuttle's has a great family friendly atmosphere and always has plenty of fun things to do and foods to buy in the sweet shop and farm store. The people working there are always super friendly and personable and will help you with whatever you need. Also, you have to try their cider in the fall, it's insanely delicious!
Great food, relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly and professional. Cards accepted. Enough to do to make a day trip out of it. And most importantly, two Pokemon Go Pokestops!
I went here with my grandparents growing up. I enjoyed going. Nice pumpkins. I love their carmel candies they have. I like how they have a cute little indoor store you can shop at.Nice prices as well.
Great day at the orchard got fresh broccoli califowler and summer tomatoe dressing love this place, picked up peaches about blueberrys today
Love going to tuttle's in the fall enjoying all the little activities they have for the kids but really enjoyed going today May 6th 2022 they have orange flavored donuts and oh my gosh they are delicious I hope they continue to carry them
There's a fun kids area, great store, and large seating area for eating. Not super wheelchair friendly with gravel in certain areas, but we had a great time!
Went to Tuttle's today with my daughters and grandson for the first time. We all have decided it's our new family tradition spot for every year. The greatest place for entire family and so much fun. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend it to all.
Cinco de Mayo menu was excellent today! I loved the pork tacos. The baked beans and rice was great too. I picked up a few things in the farm store too. I grabbed apples and spinach and popcorn coconut oil. yummy!!
÷we've been going to Tuttles Orchard for years. Always come away with more than we went after. Best corn and apple cider in Indiana. We'll go back again.
I came to Tuttle's because they are one of the few places in Indiana that sells persimmon pulp and I was pleasantly suprised by the whole place. It had a lovely cafe where they sold a few different sandwiches and desserts as well as a farmer's market. All of the employees were extremely helpful. I was very happy with my visit.
As always it was a pleasure visiting Tuttle Orchards. The staff is always friendly and there is enough things to do and get into to keep everyone enjoying their time. Also the apple cider slush us amazing as always.
Great place to go with kids. Definitely get the combo pass. So worth it. The corn maze is actually pretty big but not too complicated. The play area for the kids is one of the best I've ever seen.
Chicken Pot Pie was amazing. The apple bread was to die for. Very nice place to visit!
We love going to Tuttle! I love going in the spring to pick out flowers and veggies to plant (their hanging baskets are incredible!) And in the fall we take the kids to pick apples and have such a great time
Family friendly, fall tradition for our gang. Absolutely love it!
Tuttles has absolutely the best cider anywhere! Lots of other great things to choose from, too!
Granddaughter had a great time, well rounded for all ages. Just was not able to go in to the sweet store as the lines were way to long.
Beautiful sunflower maze, immaculate orchards, clean bathrooms, friendly staff and delicious food! It was truly a lovely experience. Thank you, Tuttle Orchards, for a relaxing morning well spent.
Going to Tuttle's has been a family tradition for over 25 years. You pick apples (best Golden's ever), cider, vegetables, hanging basket flowers and Fruit tree pruning workshop. Good friendly family run business.
Family farm goods and services year round. Farm to Table deli and Cafe' , holiday treats and trees.
The orchard's Caramel Apple Festival is fun! Very organized and employees were nice. Plenty of treats and things to do!
Chicken Salad Croissant with a side of applesauce and a apple cider for my drink.
Lovvvved this experience. The workers are so friendly and really cater to first timers like us! 10 out of 10 will go again for the the harvest.
Great food stuffs for Xmas presents. And most items are local or regional. Supporting small business.
They have a little of everything- a corn maze, you pick apples and pumpkins, a play area for kids, and a country store. We've always enjoyed ourselves on our trips here!
Ham and brie sandwich is very good. Add hot cider and applesauce. This food is worth the easy drive.
The orchard is pretty and it seems at first alot to do but it's really not. The price to go on a hay ride, go through a corn maze, and little playground as way to much. It's a experience with a heafty price. I would suggest to go Apple picking it's worth the price but the fall events are expensive. Wear sneakers. Happy Picking
I believe me and my family will be making this an annual event for us to do going forward. We really had a great time today with this being our first time visiting this orchard but definitely will not be our last.
Good place. Good produce, meat products, gorgeous pumpkins, candies and snack food. They have good looking food for lunch or evening feasting. Very good Apple products. Pumpkin and apple donuts look good.
It was nice and relaxing out door activity food at store is good and hayride and crop pick is fun
First time there and it was very nice!
Love the sunflower maze!
It is a nice place to take the kids. In this season ( August)you can pick up green beans and berries.
Nice, clean they handled large crowd well, things moved smoothly and food wasn't to bad, lots for small kids to do
Great! They have the best farm grown foods .
Wonderful time during Carmel Apple Festival, my kids had fun and those Carmel apples were delicious. Oh and the roasted corn....oh my goodness!!!
Only disappointment was no more roasted corn.
Always such a pleasure to go here. Had Cafe's pulled pork and applesauce. So good. Fun for the kiddos too.
Very nice experience picking apples. The prices were to be expected for the apples and their apple products but prices seemed high for everything else. Nice orchard with a lot going on. No pets allowed
Its a great placed for apple and pumpkin picking and by end of the month they are closing.
You will get $5, $10, $18 and $255 Bags to grab apples and its a nice experiance
Really nice place to take the kids on a sunny fall day. Thei home made Donuts and Cider are delicious
Super fun place they also have pumpkins in the fall and there is a little store there and you can't forget about those apple cider slushies.
Tuttles is amazing and the food delicious, and the people who work there are absolutely the best!!! Everything they sell is great from flowers to food!!!
Great family fun! The apple cider slushy and pumpkin donuts always are a hit!
I grew up close to here and always bring my kids for pumpkins and their apple cider! They have the best goodies and staff is always friendly.
Peach Slushie is AMAZING!!! I crave it everyday, I just wish they sold it in different sizes, instead of 12oz size cups. I would buy the biggest size available!!! So peachy♡♡☆☆
Unfortunately we missed a lot due to the current situation but the food and fruit slushies were delicious. I recommend the peach. Friendly staff.
I've always had a fondness for Tuttles growing up, and still try and make it over to get some pumpkins!
Always a fall fav. Carmel apples and pumpkins so much food and fun for the family.
Took my 2.5 yr old grand daughter. She had a blast. Mainly geared for kids 2-5 yrs old.
Great place to visit. I have never gotten anything bad from here. They fresh corn and green beans are awesome, and their sweet potato butter is killerr.
Not outrageously expensive. Great people. Good prices. Good pumpkins. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained.
The cafe, greenhouse, and grocery are consistently clean and stocked with fantastic products. The cafe is our new local "go to."
Picked up my Tote, grabbed a few items from store and sat outside and enjoyed a delicious ham and brie sandwich from the cafe on a beautiful November day

Great place to go for fun and food.
Wonderful staff. Great food and selection at their store. Plenty for kids to do and the hay ride was worth the cost!
We took a small school group. It was fantastic. Delicious food and great fun for all ages.
Tuttle's always has good veggies and fruit! Lots of other nice treats in their store too!
Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of indy and have some great time with family.
Everything about Tuttles was pleasant! I think they are a little pricey but I try to support small businesses.
Always enjoy the farm store. Great procedures in place to keep guests and employees safe. Thanks, Tuttles!
My child loved it but they need to have workers monitor the play area. Not every kid could get a turn because of it.
They have a cafe/country where you can order something that has every type of fruit they grow!
Great day! Had a lot of fun!!!
Great produce and store and Cafe
Great place to take the family. Get to go pick a pumpkin and the play area is awesome.

It was our first time going to Turtle Orchard. It was a bit sunny and hot that day but it was definitely relieving and satisfying.
Wonderful place with all kinds of neat stuff! And the people that owner/work there are pretty awesome too! Highly recommend a visit!!
Super nice and caring people, Dr Koontz used his muscle testing exam reviled my weakness. Acugraph testing pinpointed where my energy is low. I learned my reflux (Gerd), is not a digestive disease rather 'low' gastric enzyme condition.
The German Bemer made my legs stronger in just eight minutes. I agree with Dr Koontz, this is the future model of discovering how to be healthy without toxic drugs.
Terrific Cider, great Apples, surprised to find excellent donuts that put Krispy Kreme to shame!
Nice little cafe, good offering
I have been coming here since I was little, now my kids are enjoying it. Love Tuttle orchards!
I like to go as often as possible! In fact, we are going for one of Kelli's superb lunches--can't wait!
Great pumpkin picking, hot cider, and playground with lots of little mazes and games and play structures.
