My biggest issue is a lack of communication. They came out to do a mid season irrigation check to make sure each area of my lawn was getting the water that it needed. Once I let them in the garage to get to the controls they never spoke to me again. I didnt think much of it until my next water bill doubled to almost $600. I checked the irrigation system and noticed they had increased my watering times by over 10hrs a week without even mentioning it to me. Paying over $1000 a year for the lawn and irrigation maintenance you think you could at least get some better communication. When I called and asked if this was normal they said they usually do increase the watering times but that they should speak with the home owner about it. They said they would notate my account and that was it. I will likely look for another company to use next season. *Update* They did call me fairly quickly to see what they can do to make things right. After speaking with them and coming up with a compromise that was fair to both side I have updated my review to 4 stars.

Cody was very flexible and remained responsive throughout our wait for the landscaping install, during the install and for questions / concerns following the install. The crew that did the install was also very professional, friendly and knowledgeable - maintaining an eye for quality throughout. This was our first interaction with A+ Lawn & Landscape and based on it, they seem to be a class organization.

DO NOT USE THEIR SHARP & LUBE SERVICE FOR YOUR MOWER. They messed up my mower. Took hours for them to call me back and fix the issue. Their lawn service is fine which is why I am going with 3 stars. (See edit) EDIT: the “owner” replied to this negative review before I got a call from Mark H despite being told last night he would call me today and is second in command. If second in command doesn’t care about customer service than clearly the rest of the company doesn’t. I was trying to inquire about a refund because after reading other negative reviews I noticed my whole yard was not getting serviced either. Stay away from anything that A+ does. FINAL EDIT: long story short Mark called me at 8:45PM last week to chat. They did honor the same day call like they promised. Mark went out to my yard & noticed the areas I was talking about. He got it re-sprayed and apologized multiple times for the original service of sharp & lube. Going back to 3 as they have shown commitment to resolving the issue

We use A+ Lawn & Landscape yearly for our yard maintenance which would include weed control and fertilizer. Our yard looks great. We also have them come about every other year to have my push lawn mower maintained. They do it right in the driveway, and it includes sharpening the blade, tune up and cleaning. Lawn mower starts every time, and for being 8 years old, I couldn't ask for it to do more. Good job A+.

Has a great experience the other day with A+. Our new home has a irrigation system already installed and we knew nothing about how it worked. They came in and tested our backflow and sent the info to the city that is required yearly. Then not only made sure everything was on and working but took the time to show me how everything worked.

Extremely unresponsive. I asked twice to have a lawn evaluation done as a current customer, who is concerned with their lawn. They blew me off the first time and didn't even come out. The second time they came out but won't return my calls to let me know the results. Unfortunately, I paid in advance, and I am stuck with them for the rest of the year. Don't recommend it. Find a place that actually cares about its customers. Update- Mark reached out the same day I put this review out and apologized. He came out personally to discuss the issues in my yard which was appreciated. Hopefully, this will create some changes in their communication. Changing to 4/5 stars and will update after we do the changes to our yard.

EDIT: One of the owners did contact me the same day I posted this review. He was very apologetic and responsive. He did call me and email me and everything has been reconciled with my account. I have updated my rating, due to his quick responsiveness and he truly wanted to make the situation right. I also, received an email from the Office Manager that everything had been credited on my account and apologized for any inconvenience. I usually do not provide negative feedback, but I've had so many issues, in such a short amount of time with this company, I am very frustrated. I engaged in weekly lawn care services April 22, 2022. I called on 05/13 to see about having an additional service (weeding/trimming a side embankment on my property), I was told someone would call me within minutes, they didn't, called back in the afternoon, same speech, someone would contact me, they didn't. I called for the 3rd time 05/17, explained no one called me back, I was told the 'Owner' would contact me. Never did. I even sent a Facebook messenger on 05/19, asking if a manager could contact me, I was told the same thing, someone would contact me, NO ONE EVER DID. This is the worst customer service. Finally, on May 21st, I called and completely cancelled my service. On 05/27/22 - this company still came to my house and mowed. I contacted AGAIN, asking, why they were they still doing services for my property, when I cancelled. I was told, it shows my account was cancelled and it was a mistake and I would not be charged. I looked at my account on-line, I had an invoice still to pay for 05/16/22 - I paid it. But, now it's showing another charge for services on 06/24/22 - THERE WERE NO SERVICES DONE TO MY PROPERTY AND I CANCELLED 05/21. I contacted the office AGAIN 06/29 - they indicated they would pass on to the manager - considering my past issues, I doubt it will get taken care of.

I had Dave come out and he did a repair on my crushed pipe and torn wire for my irrigation system that was done by American Fencing company when they put in my fence this past winter and Dave was awesome! Very professional and experienced, you can see he knows what he’s doing and his customer service was very good I would request him to come and do any maintenance or repairs I’ll need in the future always!

A+ gave us an estimate which we liked and agreed to. They (the crew) showed up on time worked very hard and got the job done. Afterwards they returned the next day and finished. Travis and Kara were on top of every aspect and were detailed in all aspects. This May Kara returned to do the spring start up. She tested the back flow preventer and had to do some wiring on the control box. She turned the system on then made sure all the heads were working, making some adjustments where needed. Travis is coming out soon to talk about recommendations to our yard. I’m looking forward to it. From my limited experience with A+ I’d recommend them to all. Thank you.

I signed up and prepaid for all services in 2020 and the company did fine. Unfortunately this year is a different story. Their price this year was incredibly high so i went with another company. They proceeded to spray my yard without any contact left an invoice on my front door. When contacted about it their customer service person was incredibly short and stated that all services transfer over year to year unless directed otherwise which on each invoice (which was irrelevant since i prepaid in march if last year) and if i want to discuss the charge id meed to talk to a manager. I called and asked for a manager and sent a couple of emails but never heard back. While i could have seen this on the invoice, not making any contact and sending a nearly 60.00 bill to spray is just a terrible business practice and certainly feels like a purposeful opportunity to take advantage of customers which could easily be resolved with some actual customer service by contacting a customer before assuming they wanted your services. Ill never recommend this company to anyone and have continued to ensure friends and neighbors are aware of their potentially concerning business practices. “edit” I changed this from 1 star to 3 as I did receive a call from the owner of A+ who was incredibly professional and apologetic towards how things were handled. He assured me that they've been in business for 30 years and this isn't how they do business and would be making things right. Thank you for your professionalism.

We have a lot of plants/trees and we were just in need of some weed control and fertilization. They were very helpful and did a great job. A plus lawn technician was very knowledgeable and took time to understand my concerns and personalized my service. Overall they are pretty affordable and are helpful with anything you may need. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing anything done with their lawn. Their treatment to my yard made my lawn look beautiful all spring and summer. I will be definitely calling them up again when I need them. I was very content with the way they did their job. Thank you guys again!

I've been a customer for four years. On April 6 I called to schedule my annual sharp and lube. The woman scheduled my appointment for April 29. She also mentioned that last year they billed me for a lawn tractor instead of my lawn mower so they would provide a discount on this year's price. On April 29 at 8:50 a.m. I called to confirm my appointment. They said they would be out. I called again at 2:00 p.m. as I was leaving for another appointment. The woman said that I had no appointment. I told her I had confirmed the appointment just that morning. She said there was nothing she could do and forwarded me to the manager of that area. I got his voicemail and immediately called her back. She said she would schedule me for the next day, April 30th. She didn't know why my appointment had been "scratched" but nothing was my fault. The new appointment appeared on my online account. On April 30th I called to make sure they were coming. Chris told me that for sure they would be out that day. I waited another entire day for them once again they were a no show. UPDATE: I changed my rating from one star to four. On Saturday I was able to talk with Robbie who apologized and scheduled me for first thing Monday morning. Ralph arrived at 7:00 am and serviced my mower and was he was great. High marks for Robbie and Ralph. The call center, not so much.

A+ Lawn is the best! I used to feel like Pigpen from Charlie Brown when I mowed my lawn because it was so sparse and I was mowing in a cloud of dust. I spent a lot of time, money and energy trying to bring it back myself to no avail. I finally called in A+ and they worked miracles. I now have one of the best lawns on the block and it hasn't been quite a full season since I hired them. Next year at this time, watch out! I will have total bragging rights to the best lawn! I highly recommend A+. And a side note, they are very competitively priced. I am spending way less on my lawn now than when I was doing it myself, It looks so much better and I have saved myself a lot of time and frustration. Get them on board - it will be the best decision you want your lawn to look it's' best!

We use A+ for everything. We were so pleased with the front landscape that we had them create our dream backyard. They came in under budget and with days to spare. They turned our overgrown lettuce patch into a beautiful oasis that we’re proud to show off. We joke that it’s our favorite room of the house. Very happy with the results. With our hectic work schedules and the kids’ schedules, A+ handles all of our mowing and maintenance when we can’t get to it. It’s tough to admit but they do a much better job than I do. Haha. We also take advantage of their snow removal services as I know many other homeowners and businesses in the area also do. We cannot recommend A+ enough. They truly deliver the best service.

A+ has turned my yard completely around! New build/fresh sod a few years ago and it really didn’t take off too well. My yard is really hilly front to back so I know it’s tough to keep moisture on. I tried a couple other expensive companies, wasted money trying to work in it myself and finally found A+. Instead of just treating my yard in a normal cycle, they actually came out and did some real work and research. Everything they’ve done so far has worked—just like they said it would. Now, I’m on a regular schedule of treatments and aeration. They always contact me before they come out. There’s never a mess of chemicals or dry products all over my driveway, sidewalks or patio—that shows me they care about what they do. I have and will continue to recommend A+ to anyone looking for quality lawn care at a very fair price. Thank YOU!!

I was a fan and loyal customer for years. Then I messaged and told them not to spray my wife’s plants but they did twice and killed them. I cancelled service, and the owner offered to replant what they destroyed. He never followed through. He also said the company would remove the charge me but they didn’t. They didn’t and then sent my bill to collections. The owner said he would take care of this but he didn’t. Thank you for giving this middle aged man a bill in collections. Update: the manager did email and make amends so I will give them credit for that. Again, I had been happy with the company in the past so I suppose I could recommend.

The crew was here to do landscaping by removing some thin grass and replacing it with river rock. They also replaced some large flagstones. The entire crew was excellent! They were all very friendly and answered my questions and concerns completely. The work was done on time and looks great. I would highly recommend them and will use them for future jobs.

A+ has been one of the best companies that I have ever worked with. The work is high quality and they are extremely careful around certain things. We have a sprinkler system that has many heads that pop out from time to time and their precision when working around those is a big plus. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We have dealt with this company for several years and have always been more than satisfied. Their service is good and the techs sent to inspect my irrigation system are always well informed and helpful. Recently, Chuancey inspected our equipment as part of the seasonal program and he was quite helpful. As he checked the equipment he explained what he was doing and the adjustments he made were ones I could do if needed. He had to reposition a sprinkler head which he did at no added charge. We are pleased with our contacts with A+ and highly recommend the company for anyone with or seeking an irrigation system.

Not recommended. Very expensive, didn't provide the repair services they suggested and still have not provided WDM the results of my backflow test in May. I've called at least 4 times asking for the test to be reported to BSI, but they still have not received the information. Changing to 3 stars, Ethan called after confirming the backflow results had been posted, and expressed his concern and desire that A+ deliver quality service.

We have lived in multiple states, a plus was the simplest to access of all companies. We always use local business when possible. A plus responded and I had a quote for service in less than 45 minutes. I have no weeds, no bugs, we add flea and tick treatment as we have a dog, no issues. Details are left on the treatment and what I should or should not do post treatment! They always seem to time applications that do best with water afterwards to when rain is forecast. My lawn is green, weed free and healthy! These guys know what they are doing and do it well!

A+ has been helping my land look good for 10 years. And while do not have golf course. We do appreciate our yard. Normally its simple A+ comes treats the lawn, we pay, and the lawn looks great. This year we have noticed some changes dues to other factors. Some decline in our trees (a deer rutted into one) and because of a few new neighbors, new fencing was killing out our grass. I talked with Chris aka "Radar". He came out and took samples in various places in the yard. He called me and discussed his findings. He stated the tree had become a bacteria infection. He found on of our other trees also had been fighting a bit of blight and had been planted wrong originally some 20 years ago by a previous owner. Our grass was another story. The chemicals from new fences and near by pines had render the soils healthy bacteria dead by lowering the PH to almost 6. Not the diagnosis we wanted to hear. Well after good discussion and listing all of our options and talking them out. We are now on a good 2+ year path to remedy it as best we can. And while I cannot keep up with my neighbors who fuss over each blade of grass and leaves on their trees. My lawn still looks really good given the services of A+

The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five was because we had some communication problems at first. Once that was solved the crew led by Evan did a great job on the three areas that I had them do. He even redid some edging that he did not like how it was put in. They came on a Saturday and worked four hours to finish up the job and did a very nice job on cleaning things up. Overall I am very pleased on the final product and would not think twice about hiring A+ Lawn and Landscape again.

When A+ came to my house to mow my lawn and take care of some yard work in the summer, I was beyond impressed by how efficient the work was done as well as how high quality the work done was. When I asked them to come clear snow for me in the winter, I thought, there’s no way the service is as good in the winter as it was the summer previous, but I was dead wrong. The service was just as amazing if not even more so as the snow was cleared from my property in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Mark Harpenau and his crew are doing an incredible job.

I'm now entering into the 3rd year of working with A+. I have the complete package of lawn care during the summer and snow clearing during the winter for my home. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service that I receive. They really do deserve the name "A+" as I have never received anything less. Their prices are slightly higher than the competition's, but it's worth it to me to not have to deal with headache from a under-performing contractor.

They will look to see if they can make an offer to me for mowing only and also explained the reasoning more clearly for the previous quote I received. Updating to 5 star for customer service even if I do not ultimately use their services, I appreciate the follow up and effort made.*** This rating is based only on the phone conversation I had. The price I was quoted for my very small yard was $174/month!!!!! All I want is to have the lawn mown and trimmed or even just mowed. They said they won’t do just mowing but forced me to take on grub treatments and fertilizing and who knows what else. $174/month is a car payment. Completely ridiculous. Will continue looking for a company that will offer a reasonable price.

Let me describe how A+ handles a problem and why I am a satisfied customer. Last year A+ came out to repair our irrigation system after giving an estimate. The system is older and the technician ran into issues. Work stopped to document the issue and discuss with the service manager. It turned out that the system had aged to the point where parts were falling and tree roots had grown into sprinkler heads. The service manager explained the options of replacing the failed parts (short term fix) or doing a rebuild (long term fix). We agreed on a rebuild, the estimate was updated, and the team came out to do the work. The team kept at it until the system was rebuilt and working. A+ earned my respect and future business. Start up went much smoother this spring. I trust A+ to take care of my irrigation system.

They came out here yesterday and Doug was incredibly helpful and got the system working and replaced heads that needed to be and did it for far less than others that had come by and gave us pricing on fixing it. Instead of trying to upsell us, he fixed it and now it is working as good as new. I can not recommend A+ more if you want good / quality service and not just someone trying to sell you something new.

May 2020 for a riding lawn mower lube & tune up. They have done my lube & tune up for years. Came on the 21st & said couldn't get lawnmower over lift. Said they would come back on May 23rd but was a no show. I called multiple times & they said they would schedule but in the end no one called me to schedule. I indicated that they could tell me if they did not want to do the job. I have not received any call to schedule as of the date of post on 6/1 i think. Update on 6/3/20: Gentleman arrived today & serviced my lawnmower. He was very friendly. I had no idea he was coming but was glad to have it done.

We recently moved into new construction and needed some TLC for our newer sod as well as plantings and trees around the house. I’ve had several lawn services over the years and chose to go back to A+. The sales staff was very helpful and te tech’s always come back for a touch-up on weeds when I need it. I also had a poor experience with another company performing our sprinkler system start-up and shut down in the spring and fall. I asked A+ to take over the service and I’m very glad I did. The tech not only hooked up the system, but spent time checking each head to ensure it was covering the lawn and not the house or the pavement. Great service!

I have contracted A+ for my lawn care program and pest control for 4 years. They fertilize regularly and do added pest control as needed. (Grubs and Japanese Beetles) Service is completed when promised. Personnel are friendly and answer your questions. If they don’t know the answer they refer you to company personnel who can answer.
