Games (most free), art, light show, fun furniture, family-friendly (except for during church services which are different from the light shows), friendly staff. Adorable and affordable. Definitely a place I'll recommend to people who are visiting the area. We stayed for hours with a lunch break in the middle. You can go in and out with wrist bands. The shows happen multiple times in a day.

It was great! Totally recommend stopping by here! Its a pretty good idea to partake of some recreational herb prior to entering this place. The light show/ guided meditation was awesome! Lots of games to play. Bring friends. Would be great if there was a smoking area on the property.

Stopped by while I was in Denver this weekend to check it out. Such a cool church to see. Super family friendly also. While we waited till our show started there’s a room full or games and arcade games to stay busy with and a cute gift shop. For the show it was a 8 min guided mediation and then about 25 mins of a music light show. Which was very very cool. Everyone there was super friendly and kind.

The light show is pretty cool. Very enlightening. This is a very family friendly environment. I loved the gift shop. Glad I stopped here while visiting Denver. Does run every 20 minuets after the hour.

The time I spent here was so much fun, the gift shop, games room and play areas were a great way to get ready for the light show! Great music! Great guided meditation and some gorgeous lights and art made this a very memorable experience that I truly enjoyed.

This place is pure magic! A funky trip back in time with their retro decor lounge and free vintage arcade games. They also provide plenty of fun with board games, video games, and table games. ICC hasn't left out the creative types with an upright piano, a coloring station, a book nook, lite bright and signature wall. After hanging in the lounge and checking out the gift shop, head into the chapel for the AMAZING laser light show.

Traveling through Denver, my family (12 & 14-year old kids included) stopped in for an evening session of the Beyond light show. The International House of Cannabis was a fantastic experience! We attended the light show they hold in the chapel and it was absolutely memorizing. This is truly a unique and beautiful place, combining fun and exquisite art and games to make it such a great place. The staff was very nice and welcoming, the various decorations were cool to see, and the vintage arcade games were a fun throw back. Would definitely love to return again in the future while visiting Denver area.

Went to their light show today, and had such an incredible experience. Wish I lived in Denver so I could be a member! The show was awesome, and the lounge afterwards was a great place for us to unwind. Highly recommend!!

This place is pretty awesome. No smoking allowed so nothing to worry about if consumption isn't your thing. It's super chill and welcoming. The light show is freakin awesome. I definitely recommend it to pretty much anyone with an open mind or a passion for art and the culture itself. Love it.

Walked in two minutes before the show and was blown away! The free arcade and lounge was such a bonus. Would you expect a coloring station or giant hand chairs? If you're close or from out of town, you should really stop in. Support the local arts or even join for their continuous sermons! It's also kid friendly, not all innuendos are drug related or obscene.

Not only do you get to experience a unique and compelling yet relaxing light show in a church, the first floor is full of fun nostalgic items from original arcade games to Nintendo systems (that you can play for free!) to furniture to Church of Cannabis schwag! Definitely worth a trip when visiting Denver. Beautifully designed and carefully curated! We loved it! Thank you for creating this!

I loved this experience. The meditation was relaxing, Hannah was a wonderful facilitator and the whole place had a a fun atmosphere. We were invited to lay down in the pews, and it made the experience more immersive. The music was great—relaxing and fun, and the light show itself was fantastic. 10/10 highly recommend

I love this place! The light show was great and the open area has a lot of fun crafts, games, and art. You can't smoke in the premises but I suggest taking one whole marijuana before visiting The Church of Cannabis.

Lovely community center. I could see my 16 year old self loving it here for events, arcade games and hanging with friends. I also enjoyed it as a grown man with a date. Went for a candle-lit string quartet concert.

Love this place, excellent energy, 420 friendly in the cathedral area upstairs, items for sale, great decor. We saw a comedy show here and it was great. They have a laser show and meditation that I 'highly' recommend 💛 become a member to help out the church and to get invites to events- you wont regret it!

This place is absolutely beautiful! We started our time here in the lounge, letting our anxiety hit the roof as we played Jenga. Then after a short wait, were guided to the sanctuary where our senses were fancied. The walls are painted in awe inspiring murals and the vibe is amazing. Before the light show begins, they calm and prepare you for an experience you'll surely want enjoy again and again. I can't wait to go back and bring a few friends! This is definitely a visit you won't regret.

One of my most favorite places in all of Denver! I’ve never been so relaxed and entertained in my life. Visiting from Miami and this place is absolutely beautiful! Definitely coming back. They have a special room you hang out in and play coats games arcade game before the spectacular light show!

Absolutely incredible! I took my two teenage girls and it was totally appropriate. The light show was incredible and the church is one of a kind. Furthermore, you get to hang out in a cool lounge and enjoy retro video games for free. Don't be afraid of the name, this is a must see stop if you are in the Mile High City. What a phenomenal experience! The lounge and gift shop area was chock full of fun while we waited on the “service” to begin. Once in the chapel, I experienced a dazzling display of joy and relaxation that took me many years back. I definitely enjoyed this and would recommend anyone that enjoys a great light show in a relaxed and non judgmental environment.

The International Church of Cannabis was incredible! The church itself was so well taken care of, the style and decor was like nothing I’ve ever seen! The light show is something you wouldn’t want to miss, with the amazing light show there were very insightful audios, with soothing meditation it was just an awesome experience. They also have a game room with all kinds of nick nacks, art, and souvenirs. Also, a Mario kart projection game room! If you’re in Colorado it would be a regret not to stop by and if you’re a resident it’s a great church to be involved in, not to mention everyone was so nice and helpful! It was so inviting and comfortable! Family friendly too! $25 each for adults for the light show! 10 out of 10, 100% recommend.

Amazing experience. Everyone is so welcoming, the show was gorgeous and the artwork present throughout the building is excellent and beautiful. Be sure to arrive early to enjoy the free amenities of the lunge including arcade games, comfortable seating and a projector room for group Mario karting!!

This was much more than I expected. The light show was not lacking in any way!!! Just mesmerizing! The lounge exceeded what I thought it would be. There are soooo many games both arcade and board games, TV’s, gaming system and even more things to catch the eye and many places to catch some great photos and selfies. This place is amazing for all age groups and sure to bring back memories for the 80’s & 90’s babies!!! Music was even pretty on point. They offer special membership to exclusive after hour events and much more!

Pro-tip: do the 7 minute guided meditation and 30 minute light show. You don’t know it yet but your brain will thank you later. This is a real church with a real congregation and non-denominational worship services. No, they do not worship the plant. I’d go here if I moved to Denver.

Beautiful place. Fun, positive vibes from everyone. Not crowded at all, but enough people to play some games with. Lots of different family-friendly things to do here- music, books, board games, video games, and movies, and no cover charge. The Sunday light show is $25 but it's utterly fantastic and dazzling and totally worth the price. A small store area inside sells 420 paraphernalia, snacks and drinks, and church memorabilia.

This place is amazing regardless of your use of marijuana. It's absolutely family friendly. There's nothing obscene and there's no smoking during public hours. I would recommend the light show to anyone who is considering it. It is beautiful. That was easily the most transcendent I've ever felt while being completely sober. The atmosphere is very welcoming and everyone was very nice. Even though I am not able to use nor do I live in Colorado, I became a member. I walked away from that light show feeling light and connected to everyone and everything. I gained more in those 40 minutes than I have from years of Christian sermons. I wish I was in town longer to attend a service. If you're 420 friendly/accepting, agnostic, and feeling a little unsure of where to go next, check it out. Maybe it'll be as eye opening for you as it was for me. Quick edit after reading some negative reviews: Just like any other faith, you have to be open to the idea to gain anything from it. No one is forcing you to go. If it's something you're skeptical about or if you don't respect the idea and tenants, don't visit. It's that simple.

Is an absolute must to go see!! For all ages, partakers or non are all welcome, (can't partake inside).The best view that is recommended was to lay on the floor staring up during the show. If you get the chance, there is a hidden game room, the door closest to the green chair 🍄🏎🏁

The lounge area is very creative and artsy. I loved it. The whole vibe is very welcoming. The staff is very helpful, and kind. Saw all sorts of people there. The show is very self introspective/reflective. Little hippy dippy, but I will take that over brimestone and fire any day.

My girlfriend and I were visiting Denver from Salt lake and were really excited to come check out ICOC but it actually far exceeded our expectations. The light show and accompanying soundtrack were beautiful and inspiring. Recommend to anyone who enjoys meditation reflection and expanding your mind. Loved it!

I was pretty happy with my visit. I expected to just go in, look at some weird stuff and be on my way. It was $20 to get in. Once I was in they had games galore which were all free to play. Ping pong, skee ball, classic arcade games, lots of consoles, etc. There was also a lot of cool merch / snacks that were very reasonably priced. We then moved onto a church service in the chapel which was pretty neat. The light show was amazing and lots of classic rock songs. Wasn't into the preachy stuff they were doing and the meditation stuff wasn't my thing but otherwise I was very impressed with my visit. I'd say uber there if you're on the fence. We took the train and the station was full of addicts and crazies which was not fun to deal with while waiting for the next ride.

They give a 10 min guided meditation, then 25min laser show to classic rock. Around 25$.then you an hang out in their pretty cool rec/gift shop. Board and video games, tv/movies. You can hang out there all day if you buy a ticket to the previously mentioned site. Get really high before as you cannot smoke inside. Repeat, cannot smoke inside.

My friend and I went for the light show, and it was great. We got there a little early and there’s a cool waiting area/shop to hang out in with old games, books, photo opportunities, and merch to look at. Once it’s time for the show, you go into the chapel and they give you a brief explanation of what you’re going to see. It starts with a guided meditation then goes into a classic rock light show which looks so cool with the rainbow paint all over the walls and ceiling. The staff are great and give you plenty of time to take all the pics your heart desires. I also thought it was really cool since some of their congregation made the show without any experience. I would not have guessed. This is definitely something cool to check out plus it’s in a great area of Denver.

This was such a fun show! Thought provoking and welcoming to all. Its more of a light show than a meditation, no need for yoga mat or meditation pillow here. You will be able to position yourself in the room for whatever viewing you prefer. Be sure to go a bit early to hang in the 80s game room (free) and sign the wall! New BEST way to attend a church. Non-denominational, inclusive and a space for ALL people.

10/10 place. I came with my girlfriend because we were visiting. The light show was spectacular, completely 360* view made me feel really immersed in the visuals. Every show starts 20 minutes into each hour so plan accordingly. I recommend coming in early to play games, take pictures and look around in their fun room. They've got everything in there. If you're looking for something trippy or want to get new pictures for your social media page come in and enjoy yourself. All praise to the most high!

This place is an ongoing work of love ❤️ You can tell the volunteers/employees like their work, and the laser show was fantastic. Very well synced up with the large murals and colors, as well as the psychedelic rock playing. My partner has never tried anything recreational and still very much enjoyed it too.

I had an experience at that place, the artistic work inside and the visuals were definitely my favorite part. I liked that the time I went there weren't a lot of people. After that, we went downstairs to see what's up with the shop and looked very cool. Although it felt a little bit too much of a touristy shop than an actual "church".

Pretty cool place, but not what I thought. It isn't some weird religious approach to getting stoned, it is a laser light show and classic rock music. It is a good place to go if you are stoned lol. Video games and such in the basement reminded me of youth group when I was a kid. Just a really neat adult place to hang out.

Interesting and Different The waiting room is very interesting with all kinds of retro games, toys, artifacts and look at and take pictures with. Their furniture was way beyond cool! Loved it! I wish I had furniture like that at my house! The show was very interesting and different. I had seen something similar when I went to a Pink Floyd Laser Light Concert. If you would like to do something weird and unusual in Denver then this is the place for you. Their artwork is strange and unique. If you are a very religious person you may not appreciate it and may think it's the place of the devil. The show was a little overpriced I thought at $25 per person. But we still enjoyed it.

Went to see the laser light show and it definitely did not disappoint! Staff was very kind and answered any questions that we had. I really enjoyed the gallery of toys, games, and videos that you are able to see as well. A lot of seating for you to lounge out and relax. Shows are kid friendly and it was stated that Sunday services are now available if you sign up and would like to partake. It was pretty legit to see the time lapse photos of them painting the church as well! I don't partake, but I would definitely suggest a visit for the show!

Very interesting place! I definitely enjoyed it. Wished the meditation introduction was a bit longer. Definitely loved the gameroom/lounge, very unique. Filled with activities to do while you wait. I can see why this is a recommended attraction. Would recommend for those who are pretty chill, since it may bore those who are too energetic or just too impatient. The workers were very friendly and even gave us a tip on the best seats for the show.

They are currently doing private appointments for small groups or couples, so it's perfect for families or dates! I went with my parents and husband and we had the entire chapel to ourselves-- what a special memory we will always have from this beautiful place! I was impressed that they also offer masks and hand sanitizer, and do a very thorough cleaning job in between guests.

Interesting and quirky experience. The downstairs has quite a few games including arcade consoles and board games. There is a separate media room that was playing some kind of monkey documentary, which was interesting. The art is great. Prices are average to low for the most part, so you can easily buy souvenirs, especially since this place is on groupon but even without its 15$ for adults and 12$ for students with IDs. Now to the show. It did start promptly and the guided and spoken word section is great. There is amazing paintings on the walls but with it being so colorful, the light show can get a bit murky looking. I did not go high so I am sure this is a different visual effect if you are, but worth it overall. Sit on the sides so you can see more of the show and have room to see more sides of the room. The guy downstairs was so funny, he did try to upsale kinda pushy but he was pleasant. There is even a wheel you can spin if you do a $2 and a prize includes a free compliment...yes a compliment! You never know how much something nice being said will make your day so much brighter. A must see if you have a spare hour while in town.

I LOVED this place so much. The art is beautiful and vibrant and the light show is out of this world. I've seen a lot of art in my life, and this has to be one of my favorite experiences amost comparable to Meow Wolf in Santa Fe on a smaller scale. Great concept I feel as though I did not give enough props where they are due.... AWESOME secret that is sure not to be a secret much longer. Every Uber or Lyft driver I used in my trip,I told then about your location. Most of them did not know you where here. Now they do...... Loved the entire place. The owners/members are very kind people that were able to answer any questions we had. Very cool gift shop/rec room on the first floor. They are doing something very different here. I am absolutely going to go again. It was appropriate for my 3 year old but I think I'd like to enjoy the show a bit more in depth without watching him. Next time I go I want to bring my dad. This is a fun outing; make an afternoon or evening out of playing games and socializing in a laid back, retro atmosphere. Giant Mario Cart room. Buy tickets ($25) ahead and plan to spend awhile. The light show and guided meditation take about 30 min. Family friendly most of the time. Great murals. This is not a "drop in to smoke cannabis" place - only members can imbibe at specified times - it's a kitchy, respectful space for alternative points of view.

Visited here last weekend after a friends recommendation and were so glad we did! For $15 you can sit inside of the beautifully painted church and enjoy a 30 minute light show. This is a must experience when you're in Denver. Easily my favorite thing. No smoking while you are visiting so don't go expecting to get high! That's reserved for church members during their service. As for the visit, you can hang out in the waiting area that's totally chill and filled with eclectic art. Once inside the church, you'll be in awe. The walls were all hand painted by an artist from Spain and will blow you away! There's a 7 minute guided meditation followed by one of the best light shows. You will not be disappointed!

It is definitely an experience. They give exactly what they promise. Pop culture video games, pop culture TV and movies to enjoy and pop culture art and mix media everywhere. All that definitely makes it enough place to kill sometime before or after a show. Now the show is fun. I’ll start off by saying that I was hesitant with traveling to Denver since we’re still dealing with COVID. If my fiancé reads this review, I’m sorry for being my usual stubborn self and thank you for forcing me out of the house. That being said, the International Church of Cannabis was unequivocally the highlight of our trip in my opinion. Dispensaries, mountains, Boulder Falls, dispensaries, Voodoo Donuts, Cheesman Park, watching homeless people casually shoot heroin as we walk past them… sure, they’re all awesome for 2 people who live in Kenosha, WI but I would return to Denver for the sole purpose of visiting the International Church of Cannabis again. I had no idea of what we were in for based on outside of the church. It was a regular and unassumingly a church but decorated with interesting artwork in the upper windows which only raise your curiosity about what’s within. Once inside, the woman at the ticket table was so nice, accommodating and personable as she invited us into the lobby where the fun was only just beginning. We were there for the 5:20 light show and had arrived around 5:00 so we took pictures of the amazing decor and my fiancé utilized her time to play her favorite arcade game… ski ball. Not the newer kind but the original version with wooden balls and the ramp that aids in sinking targets to the left (I’m not as much of an aficionado so I learned something new.) The guys at the concession/gift counter were some of the easiest people to talk to. I’ll apologize to everyone there for not remembering names but the guy who I talked to at length was familiar with the Kenosha area and had been there as well. He answered all of our questions and was nice enough to remove a XS “High Priestess” shirt from a mannequin for my fiancé to buy. 5:20 rolled around and we were invited upstairs for the light show. The incredible artwork on the walls and ceiling of the chapel were just a small fraction of what was to come. We were 2 of the 3 people in attendance for the show so we were invited to spread out, get comfortable, remove our shoes, lay in the pews, etc. The guy who put on the light show was beyond helpful with describing how the light show would go with the 7 minute introduction to prepare ourselves and the 25 minute rock music display to follow. I am not nor have I ever been a religious person and thankfully this church was not anything like a traditional church experience. We may or may not have had some mind expanding help prior to entering the church, but I am so thankful for having visited the International Church of Cannabis. It’s truly impossible to detail the experience of the light show. To think that a group of members of the church came together to paint one of the most incredible works of art I’ve ever seen and then orchestrate a light show set to some of the best songs for a truly psychedelic experience, is almost unfathomable. I remember at one point as sat in the middle pews and staring up at the ceiling as the show went on, feeling tears start to come to my eyes just from the beauty that I was immersed in and that the church had given me a gift that I was not expecting… more questions than I will ever have the answers for. The idea that there is so much more to life and the questions presented to me about what I need to do in order to find my own happiness in my life as well as the others around me have now been at the forefront of my mind ever since. I will forever be eternally grateful for my visit to the International Church of Cannabis. Visiting Colorado already had me considering the possibility of moving there, but the church has only helped in my consideration as I undoubtedly would become a member of the church. To anyone reading this review, I thank you for taking the time to do so. The International Church of Cannabis should be a “bucket list” destination at the very least. The experience was transformative for me and I would hope it is for anyone else who visits.

It was strange at first walking in to the gift shop/play area not knowing what to expect and why we paid $25 a person. Then once they took us upstairs it was all worth it! It was a unique experience. They start with a short meditation, then it's a light/ lazer show. If you are at all spiritual, I highly recommend it. Even if you don't meditate you can use the minutes to focus on your breathing etc. It was great!

Why did I love my visit here? The friendly folks who greet you and provide the history of the Church. The funky waiting area with eclectic and stunning artwork and furniture. The arcade games from the 80s. The fun mishmash of items sold at the counter. And then...then there is the chapel itself. Mind blowing art that pics don’t do justice to. Seeing them in person is truly a one of a kind experience. The laser light show and guided meditation is an absolute steal at $15. Once it’s done they’ll turn on the lights and let you take all the pics and vids you want. Plan for an hour altogether. It is a non-consumption event. Plenty of parking along the street out front. Yes, it’s an actual church. They emphasize openness and acceptance of everyone. Think the golden rule.

Of course the main draw is the sanctuary, which is super cozy and relaxing with plenty of pic opportunities. But, I really recommend checking out their shop which has tons of very cool design stuff. Love! Love! Love! Wow! Such an amazing experience. My daughters and I took a 30 minute taxi ride here but got there too late for the light show and they said they were closed. We were horrified. This was a treat for my daughters and I truly wanted in that church lol. I explained how we were from Houston Texas, and took a 30 minute drive in a taxi to get there. Although they were closed, and the light show had ended, they let us in to see the church and all its beauty. I can't express how awesome the church was with the murals on the walls and ceilings which was done in like four days I believe we were told. Just WOW! So beautiful! It's a must see when in Denver. Thank you for letting us have this wonderful experience. You didn't have to let us in but you were so kind and understanding. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Went to this place today. It was a great time, awesome light show, fun games to play in the main waiting area and some great merch to grab. Even if you aren’t a smoke weed everyday kind of person you will have fun at this place.

Phenomenal experience! One of a kind and very original! All of the staff and members of the church were warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed the light show and meditation but what I loved even more was the retro themed lounge and arcade downstairs. Awesome place.

AMAZING experience. My girlfriend and I came for the meditation/laser light show, and ended up asking where we can sign up at the end. The chapel is absolutely beautiful, and their game room/merchandise room is so much fun and has a lot of things to do while you wait for the show to start. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience! I came for the light show, but didn’t know the basement would be so fun. It’s filled with arcade games, trippy artwork, and unique furniture. The shop had some legit offerings, too. The actual show was fun, and the entire chapel room is painted wonderfully!

Fantastic and unique Denver experience. Highly recommend buying tickets to the light show and showing up 15-20 minutes early to enjoy the game room and gift shop. Very open and accepting environment for all to enjoy. Staff are wonderful and very friendly.

Whether you’re just interested in the FREE awesome lounge area (filled with games and cool seating) or you want to pay for the VERY worth it light show- it’s a must visit. I’ve enjoyed my time over all in Denver, but this was definitely my favorite attraction. The energy and vibe here were unmatched. Welcoming and genuine.

Beautiful painted church. The staff was very welcoming and super family friendly, I brought my baby for the light show, he loved the lights! I brought noise protection headphones that came in handy. The entertainment room was so cool with arcade games, skee ball, video games and more, all included with the price of the light show ticket. Plan time to hang out in the entertainment room! A really cool place to spend an afternoon.

A must do when you visit Denver! My boyfriend and I went on a Monday before our flight home and it was an amazing experience. They have a neat waiting room with tons of old school video games, board games, and photo ops. Nothing beats the Beyond light show experience though, it’s something to enjoy for anybody of all ages, whether you consume cannabis or not! The light show was impressive and a unique experience. Will def come back with more family and friends
