This is the best Concentra I’ve ever been to. Was met with smiles as soon as I walked in. Everyone is very professional. I was given notice there was going to be a long wait and was given an estimated time frame. I appreciate that. It’s never fun to be delayed but it’s nice to decide to stay or come another time. Thank you for respecting my time. The wait wasn’t as long as expected and the waiting area was comfortable enough. I was there for an employee screening and every person interacted with was pleasant. We had a lot of tasks, they communicated with me what is going on and what’s next. It was actually kind of fun. Well done to everyone here. I would come here again without hesitation. I think they said Thursdays were the busiest days if you want to avoid a long wait, don’t go Thursday.

I was checked in very quickly by a staff that was friendly and kind. It was fairly crowded but my wait wasn't very long at all. I was called in and the nurse was also friendly and very efficient. The doctor the examined me. She was humorous yet sensitive to my issues. I was made to feel quite comfortable.

I was very pleased with all of the receptionists who were pleasant, accommodating, very helpful and friendly!! However, Ms. Sweet, was not there...who was concerned and attentive with me on my previous visit. Her replacement, Ms. Taj Reid, did not show much concern/compassion. She basically "rushed" my visit and gave me ultimatums on my do's and don't's with my upcoming visits at Concentra Urgent Care facility. I was NOT pleased with her demeanor at all.

Fortunately every experience I have had with concentra has been top notch. All locations I have had the opportunity to visit have been busy. But at the same time quite up to the challenge of meeting the needs of other truck drivers like myself in a very timely and very efficient professional drive. In today's World we are fortunate to use your service with some of the most courteous and friendly professionals to serve us behind your welcoming business doors. Thank you so so much especially the Columbia,SC office for being there to serve your profession in such a manner. I had an insect killer (liquid) fall in my face. I had contacts in. My on site amcare team was amazing at helping me wash my eyes and change my clothes. I went the next day to Concentra and I believe I was sent back to work too early. I was having headaches the following day and my eyes were still very irritated. My last visit I was told I was good to go but as I started wearing my contacts again it felt as though something was stuck in my eye. I had headaches again and my eyesight wasn’t where it needed to be. Made an eye appointment with my eye doctor for a second opinion. Staff was very friendly

They do NOT do TB testing on Thursdays. If you are tested at 9:04, you must return prior to 9:04. Make sure you figure out exactly what time you need to return. Very nice staff that are extremely busy.

It was crowded when I got there but as I sat there a young lady came out from the back with snacks for everybody Refreshments I thought that was great and they had coffee and coffee creamer, which made the stay more comfortable I give it five stars

My first time here at concentra Urgent care was a great experience. They greet u when you enter the office, I didn't have to sit in the lobby long before going to the back and once I got n the back it was no long waiting for the doctor and I was finished within a hour. I would recommend anyone to them because they make u feel like family when you there.

One young lady, that I learned was management, had the worse b…. resting face to say she was greeting people at the front!! My visit was for a Pre-Employment Physical. I was treated with privacy and respect. I did feel rushed through the physical after sitting in the treatment room alone for a long time. Some music or something to read could have been helpful. Total visit took about an hour and a half. The actual exam took no more than ten minutes. I know that this is typically how it goes at a doctor’s office but that doesn’t mean it’s right.

The staff was very nice. I read a lot reviews stating the wait time was long, but fortunately I did not have a long wait time as a walk in. My only issue is the front desk put my order for a TB skin test in incorrectly causing me to have an additional blood draw that was not necessary. This caused a severe bruise on my arm due to the nurse having difficulty getting another blood draw. Unfortunate situation that could have been avoided.

In my 40 + Years of working, this was the most extensive work physical I have ever had! I was extremely impressed. The only thing I did not like about it was having to fill out the paperwork when I got there. I have had to fill out paperwork for medical history before, but it was sent to me digitally and I was able to fill it in PRIOR to my physical, while at home. This would have been helpful to your staff and patients alike., and avoided the “HERD” of people walking in at 8:00 am

After going to a facility to have drug screening done for employment and after two hours of waiting due to no one being able to login to the escreen program, I requested a different location and Concerta was it!!! They were courteous, professional and extremely efficient!!! They turned my nightmare of a day into a great experience!

They were very professional and the establishment was nice and clean. My only issue was that the wait time was very long, in my opinion. I was only there for a prescreen drug test and there were not many people waiting, but I had to wait for about an hour and a half. I've never had to wait that long for a urine test. Other than that, the experience was fine.

I had a very nice experience at the Concentra Urgent Care. They were very professional and I did not have to wait long to get a drug and hair test. The nurse Kaylla was very helpful, because I could not put enough of my urine into the cup, so I was given two more bottles and that did it. I would recommend anyone to use their services.

I went early in the morning and was expecting to have to wait the normal long wait time but the max I had to sit there was maybe 15-20 minutes so for an urgent care, I thought that was amazing! Quick and simply check in and check out process. I was very pleased with my service.

The wait is at least 2hrs (for physicals) but I was informed by my employer and the receptionist at check in that, that’s how long it would be. Amber, the receptionist was very friendly, courteous to everyone I saw her interact with. Being that it’s a walk-in only clinic and they do not schedule an appointment; a long wait time should be expected!

I have to say I been to a couple of spots for physicals and all. This is by far the best service i done gotten in a long time thanks to Ms. Tura and the best physical therapist support i haved in Ms. Ny'Kosia. Go check this place out if you want honest and reliable service.

Had to go here for a work physical. Needless to say I’d rather not have to have one but if I ever need another, I hope it’s at this same location. From checking in to the lady who got the specimen sample to the Dr. who completed the medical part, everyone was super kind and professional. I got there before they opened ( highly recommended) and by the time I left an hour later there was standing room only in the lobby. I got copies of the paperwork without asking and the results were back at my workplace the next day.

I reviewed this urgent care 7 months ago and gave it 1 star. Since then things have changed for the better. I was recently there and the staff was very welcoming and took care of me right away. I waited a few minutes but far less than I have waited at other offices. The doctor actually took the time to listen to my concerns and take action. The staff quickly filled out my paperwork and were very polite. The changes they have made were very positive and appreciated.

I was scheduled to take a DOT physical and was told that I wasn't on the schedule without being asked my name. That was the start of what was to come. I was told it would be a 2hr turnaround from the time I turned in my paperwork. Total time was :3 1/2 hours. Part of the staff was nice and the rest was rude. I wouldn't recommend using this facility to my worst enemy.

When I 1st pulled up I was prettty sure that this would be a mediocre experience. Figured that if anyone I had to come to this tight small parking lot day after day would not be a happy camper. So in my head as I headed toward the front door my mind was set overly dramatically for dark clouds and banshee. To my amazement all was wonderfully clean! The staff was on point and didnt miss a beat. They all had outstanding professional customer service with a sweet calming yet familiar feeling you are part of a large family that has your back. During this entire year of 2020 I have missed the warmth of people smiling and the sounds of joyful laughing. So if I had a choice of where to go I would definitely chose Concentra Urgent Care. The one place that I do believe when they say the word care, they truthfully care. 💞💞💞

I would give 5 stars but today I think I saw Dr. Shew and she was cold, had an attitude and I found myself making an effort to being empathetic to her when it should be the other way around. If I could afford to quit my job so I don't see her again I would but I'm not able too. If you get her and she chooses to treat you with consideration especially if your in pain, good for you. Your whole experience should be great but if not, oh boy. Good luck.

Most of the staff was great ! Clean and effective site . But the the wait time was ridiculous . I waited 7 hrs for simple test to get done . I watched 50 people get serviced . I have gone to this location several times for employment testing. The entire staff have always been great. Very kind, very efficient. Today in particular I was helped by Niyanna (sp? and I can't quite remember her name), but I know she is fairly new. She was incredible. Super sweet and did a great job drawing my blood. Again, I have always had a great experience here.

My experience at Concentra was very wonderful. The staff is very nice. The doctors showed concern of my physical issue and her recommemdations had me feeling better. The physical therapist (Joseph Smith) is awesome. He is a professional at what he does. I recommend this establishment to anyone who has similar problems like myself. I never had to wait long to be seen or anything of that nature. This by far is the best medical treatment facility that offers physical therapy.

The only problem I have is the length of time it takes to get drug test results back. This time I happen to see the vials placed in the envelope and immediately carried out by the FEDEX guy. It's been 3 days and no results. Hopefully it won't be more than 4. When you're used to having results the very next day or within 24 hrs. 3 to 4 days is ridiculous.

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, the waiting time was almost nothing, and exam rooms were clean and tidy. My only complaint is that it was pouring down rain, which I doubt they could have controlled ;)

Nice facility and staff. Very clean. They had a Keurig coffee maker in the waiting area, which was great, with several varieties of coffee to choose from. I only gave a 4/5 stars due to the wait time for a drug screen and physical. I had this pre-scheduled, and arrived 15 mins before the clinic opened to be the 3rd in line to sign in at 8:02, but unfortunately those appointments are still “work-in” appointments. I was brought back for my drug screen at 9:15 and waited another hour in a room for the Nurse Practioner to see me for my physical. The NP and all other staff were very friendly and professional. I was even offered a drink or snack on 2 separate occasions, when I was checked on by staff, while waiting for the NP, which was very nice and unexpected. I would definitely visit this clinic again for other services and highly recommend this clinic for treatment to others.

Great experience with all of the services. I do Physical Therapy here and the hospitality is awesome. PT-Joseph is one great therapist got me back to 100% after my accident. All the staff are wonderful, polite, great personalities here I fully recommend the services hands down

I was refered here for a pre-employment physical and drug screening. I went to the Columbia location.This was my very first visit to Concentra and I must say that I very well pleased. From the beginning of my visit in the waiting area until the end. The Staff was very helpful and friendly and kept informed on how ling of a wait I had. The doctor made me feel so comfortable as if we knew each other already. If they were a regular Doctors office I would transfer.

I have been to Concentra from Jersey City, NJ, Richmond, Va., Brooklyn, NY, Connecticut, Pennsylvania; But this one here in Columbia South Carolina is a Class A facility. Nothing country about this place, just plain hood olé’ country medical care done the right way. More Concentra should model this medical facility; except for them closing early and closed on Sunday.

The only concern I have I ask the assistant how much was a flu shot she try to look for the price then she ask the lady sitting beside her who Ignored her, so she ask aging. I injured my lower back and was sent to Concentra to see a doctor and start physical therapy. The entire staff is pleasantly nice and helpful. My PT Joseph set me up with all the tools I needed to get on the track to being well again. Anything from work out bands to a cushion to help alleviate pain when I drive. I would definitely recommend to anybody.

Very Friendly staff. Front desk is always smiling and have a willingness to help and go that next step to ensure your taking care of. Joseph in Physical Therapy is very knowledgeable and really concererned about your injury and makes sure you understand why you need to do certain exercises to get you back to being 100%. He takes time to get to know each patient so their experience there is warm and inviting. Dr. Shew is very friendly and really listens to you. You don’t feel rushed when explaining your injury or how your feeling. Wait time has never been an issue, and if you are waiting someone always checks in on you and let’s you know that your next or how long it may be. I would recommend Concerntra to anyone and everyone.

I had a work related injury that resulted in having to have a partial knee replacement. I was sent to Concentra for physical therapy. Joseph Smith was an awesome therapist!!! NOBODY likes doing the exercises right after an injury or post surgery. NOBODY! Joseph understands this completely, and will take grousing good naturedly. He listens intently to how you're feeling, and makes a point of asking how you're feeling each and every time you come in for therapy. He is very respectful and professional. The exercises he has you do will help you get better, and he will send you home with exercises to do at home. I had a very positive experience and bet that you will too!
