Reviews of O'Hare International Airport
Joe Vraneza
being one of the busiest airports in the world has some disadvantages. I think depending upon which terminal you are flying into or out of greatly determines your satisfaction with this place. I fly United often and those terminals have been upgraded with great food and beverage options along with multiple United club locations. And you always get to walk through the groovy neon people moving sidewalk.
The newly added tram to the Rent-A-Car parking destinations lot is nice in the winter as you don’t have to go outside to catch the train.
Brooke Larsen
Exceptional! The air port is very very busy. The hallways are crowded and there seems to always be someone running to catch a flight. But guess what? It’s an international airport and their whole staff is doing there very best to allow you to have a good experience. Instead of saying it’s crowded think of how many people they are helping. The flights are great. They have tons of different places to eat and shop. You have to remember to be patient and make the most of the fact that there are airports like this that can help lots of people.
Five emojis that describe my experience are…

First time at O'Hare. great experience and very beautiful! As i have been in the terminal 3 only. It's super beautiful!! Great experience and staff are very helpful. If you are here for connection flight and you have a time. You can go out and come back again. And yes you have to do security check again. But its nice 😊 …
Andrew Kang
Lots of people traffic. If you are going to talk as a group, don't do it in the walkway. It gets congested. Other than that, it was pretty organized and informative. So long as you look at the signs, you shouldn't get lost. Plenty of places to eat, drink, and relax. The bathrooms are fairly clean (or at least when I looked at them).

A very nice airport with many planes to fly on. This is a very large airport with lots of terminals, shuttles, buildings, and, especially, a lot of people most days. This can make the experience here a bit more stressful, but airports are always stressful. In the actual airport past security, there are shops everywhere and rarely will you be too far from some type of food to eat. It’s a place I enjoy but I don’t rave about it.
Neal
It's a beautiful airport and has lots of transit options. You can take the L from downtown Chicago all the way to the airport. There's lots of art on display and plenty of shops, so you won't be bored if you have a long layover. It seems to be a very busy airport at all times.
Colin Bosler
What a great airport! This is my first visit to O'Hare and I'm impressed by how much natural light is let in by hundreds of windows, the cleanliness of the floors and the varied food options like fresh roasted nuts, popcorn, smoothies, etc. There's plenty of the standard stores as well like Hudson News, Starbucks, etc. The airport has partnered with local institutions to have some neat displays like a large dinosaur and benches that are hand crafted to celebrate famous musicians. Another nice touch is the amount of comfortable seats at each gate with plenty of access to plugs to recharge your devices. The only surprise was having to walk to my connecting flight instead of taking a tram or bus like I'm used to in the large airports. I don't mind a nice walk after sitting on an airplane, but if you're unable to walk long distances, I'd make sure to tell someone when you get off your plane and I'm sure they'll arrange transport services.

My first entry to the US was through O'Hair Airport coming from Jordan.
Although very busy airport, the whole travel process is very quick and smooth. Very clean airport with plenty of food and cafe stations around all terminals, offering very delicious and tasty options. The staff are clearly kind and helpful.
I also used this airport for a domestic flight on American Airlines, which was an interesting experience...
KR M (KRM)
This is an amazing airport! Well organized. Great signage. Stores, restaurants and conveniences are well situated. Lots of restrooms. It's busy and we experienced an hour+ delay in our layover. That was frustrating. Clean too!
Jose Luis
Nice BIG airport. Lots of walking but thank goodness for rolling walkways. Takes awhile to get to the train or subway too at the airport walking. Lots to see! Love Chicago!! ❤ My playground in my earlier years...
Mohd Alhamdan
Air port security and immigration services were very smooth. Contacting flights were some what confusing to me. The overall condition of the airport is average with unavailability of lounge at terminal 1 except for UA club members. Not even for first class passengers. VISA lounge key is also no accepted. Though great collection of shops and food outlets. I will be having another connection within two weeks and hopefully by then I will be able to sort the lounge thing.
Christopher Drenth
Easily the most efficient airport that I fly in or out of. Even with a large population circling though here 24/7, they are incredibly efficient and effective in their crowd management, security, boarding and processing. There are plenty of dining options and all types of shops to pick up those airport snacks.
Pavankumar Harapanhalli
Airport is very neat , feels nice
As with many airports , a lot of walking to get to the gate, but there are enough signs to guide you properly. Good places to eat , shop and more and enough seating area
Only problem that I had was when I came in there domestic baggage pickup was very far and at a time 5 flights’ baggage was on same belt and was a chaos
I had seen queue to get in to baggage collection for the first time
Gajen Jan
I love O'Hara international Airport. I had lot of experiences flying from Chicago or to the Chicago and I was never disappointed. Recently I had 8 hours layover to the connecting flight and it was not too bad.
Josh Brown
The new expansion to terminal five is very nice, spacious, and clean. The rest of the renovations to terminal five also give the terminal a new modern feel. However, the security checkpoint hasn’t seen the upgrades that it needs to keep up. The security lines were long and they don’t have the same level of fast automation that other airports are upgrading to.
Nathan Williams
Great experience as usual. The staff were especially nice from security to custodial. It's layout is easy and clean. I decided to try riding the train from my hotel downtown to the airport because I had extra time and it was definitely a good ideal $3 compared to an $80 quote from Lyft. Keep up the good work ORD cause I will be back.
Terri Thompson
A big Airport, but everything labeled...surprisingly easy to move through and as a female traveling alone, felt safe. Not airports fault, airline changed gate, but dang what a walk when it happened, lol. I came in by plane and just had connection to make. Plenty of restrooms: super fast to get in and out, clean and high tech sink area. Plenty food and drink options throughout the building. Pictures: United wing on right had to walk to American picture on left. It really was an ease, with so many people and 'halls' to go through, I was impressed.
Roy
This airport is huge. Getting from side to takes time, However the airport architects make sure that the way between one terminal to another is a visual experience. The airport is fairly clean, however, there are lines to the restrooms and restaurant offering is mainly fast food. All in all that's a much better alternative for a connection vs. the Toronto airport.
Victor B
It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s beautiful!
Lots of retail and places to eat and drink. Love the Hilton hotel literally walking distance to your terminal 3 gate. (Sports bar and nice restaurant as well). I have had great “on time” performances for the past few trips. Net, I am good to fly from O’Hare!

Busy international airport in the Chicago area. Good public transportation to and from down town Chicago: CTA blue line.
Security line moves reasonably fast.
Good food choices in terminals. Clean bathrooms.
Bill McNatt
Love visiting Chicago! Airways easy to get in and out of, I've never had a problem getting through security and people are always friendly and helpful if you start out the same way. It's ok, they're people too, you can say hi and ask how their day is going.
Andrew Kub
Best airport in the USA for 18 years in a row. They are expanding the international terminal a ton! It's going to be cool when it's done. I have never made it through security as quickly as I do at O'Hare. Literally less than 10 minutes! I was not even here that early. Just 2 hours.
Ariel Castillo
Over the years I have developed a love-hate relationship with O’Hare. The airport is massive and it’s typically busy. You definitely want to allocate time if you have a connection. Even if you are connecting through the same airline, moving from one concourse to another one (yes, I’m talking about you American) can take up 15 minutes running! I have lost many flights with a short connection time.
Staff is generally nice. There’s plenty of restaurants available but not a lot of options if you have dietary restrictions such as vegan.
If you are flying out of O’Hare, make sure you get there early enough. TSA is typically packed! If you fly often, TSA Pre-Check is a no-brainer.
Getting to the airport is very easy. Explore CTA’s blue line route and save yourself some money.
Jacob
I had transit flight from New York to O’Hero and it was pretty smooth, I found the architecture of this airport is interesting and cool 😎
The only issue I saw during my flight ✈️ they have very limited seating options for this large airport and they need to take care of some maintenance for this beautiful architectural job.
You can see multiple Starbucks in O’Hero, but they don’t take order ahead 🙁
Also, seems like they newly added tram to the car rental parking destinations and in the winter 🥶 you don’t have to go outside to catch the train. 😎
Jordon Thompson
Flew from both terminal 3 and 5. Terminal 3 looks really dated, and it is not clearly visible where the priority desk for AA was versus the standard check-in desk. The priority lane was moving so slowly that the normal lanes were moving faster. For such a large, renowned international airport, it was really not impressive. The train between terminals takes so long, and the duty-free offering was not stellar either
Justin Hamblen
Great airport. Busy but we’ll organized. The TSA security lines are always manageable and the have pre-check and clear with even shorter lines. Good experiences.
Ivan S
Coming during the night isn't 🌙 too bad. During the day is where it is busier. You can drop off family or guests either through the departure drop offs or for helping those in more need, there is an option to park and the parking is reasonably priced. Whe getting to the inside the registration is getting a bit better and smoother process but they tend to charge more for baggage 🧳 if not pre paid online ahead of time.🛅🛄
For elderly or ♿️ handicap individuals be ready to wait for services such as wheelchairs to be a long wait (1 to 2 hours or longer) you get a tag with a number and time given the ticket 🎟 Literally, we kept asking where our service was because we had arrived around 3:30 am and the flight ✈️ was to be boarding 5:45 am and take off by roughly 6:20 am and we were already around 5:35 am still waiting for wheelchair for our grandparents 👴 👵
Check in isn't too bad which I don't mind for everyone's security and protection. Better be safe than sorry.🛃🛂
Otherwise bring some small snacks in case for long waits.
Pre pay parking to not worry of getting charged more and you have 20 minutes after pre paying to depart from parking area.
Bathrooms 🚻 are outside and inside before and after security
MK Yoder
Everything closes at 8pm or earlier.
My flight was late and then canceled (which was the airlines fault not the airport) yet I couldn't help feeling stranded and hungry having to spend the night in the airport.
However, during the day is not a bad airport. There are several terminals that you can access by train.
It's least favorite airport. Accessing terminals is weird. The bathrooms are not as clean as I prefer.
Adventures into Distraction
First experience flying- I found it easy to navigate a 18 minute walk to my connecting flight. The autowalk with artistic lighting above was a nice surprise. Plenty of stores to keep you busy during a layover.
D
My first experience here was a great one! It was easy to get around and there was direct blue line access from the airport which was super helpful! Plenty of dining options, staff was helpful and it was well-organized.
Nickie
Beautiful Airport, landed here early in the morning to change flights. It’s very clean and comfortable. Lots of places to eat.
Sai Raghavendar
We always fly from ORD , wonderful airport clean and tidy . Staff is also very friendly and helpful. They have a free basic Wi-Fi also .
Mateen Mizan
Great Airport! When I arrived into Chicago from Houston, the airport was clean. I’ve been in Chicago before but not O’Hare. It’s really busy at night. The staff are friendly. The airport is clean. The baggage claim went good. The airport is huge. Anyways I would recommend going to Chicago O’Hare.
Matthew Arthur-Gray
As far as airports go, ORD does a nice job. It’s an airport that wasn’t built in one fell swoop. It’s several additions and annexes connected together which form several distinct feels. Well signed and easy to navigate.
Ashlee Briscoe
First time at O'Hare - great experience and very beautiful! The "C" terminal has an underground tunnel and it's super super beautiful!! Great experience and can't wait to return
Amit Jain
This is a big and beautiful airport of the USA. Some things to note if you are arriving late then most of the food shops will be closed inside the terminal, the Uber point is on the third level also called terminal 2 black zone ( It took me about 20mons to figure it out) in front of the Hilton. Traffic is congested during the peak hours and traveling via CTA is more faster, it’s just that you will have to factor in the walk/cab from to the final station to your destination
Rizz Bizz
One of the busiest airports I’ve ever been to. I wish they had a tram or at least ways to get around here a lot easier. All in all it’s a great place.
halzton78
You can find pretty much everything you need in this airport. Food, souvenirs of course, books, medicine, shoe repair!, massage! And ladies yes, you can find a place to get your nails done.
Amazing airport
Gabrielle Windsor
It's a large, okay, huge airport. Some old some new terminals. No walking sidewalks / conveyor belts between terminals 2 and 3. Lyft and uber pickup zone was terminal 2, so 15 plus hustled walk from terminal 3...food and drink.options uninspiring. Highlight was a bookstore to buy a buy for the 3 hour weather delayed flight. It's a basic airport that works. Nothing to look forward to. Several plugs at gate K1 didn't work. Cold winter air near gate.
J STEPHEN WILLIAMS
Nice airport with plenty of gift and dining options. They could use a train or tram between terminals though because connections are sometimes short and distance is a factor. Other than that it's one of my favorite airports to pass through or visit.
Anita Yaj
No airport is perfect. This is my main international airport for my region. Some outlets and USB ports don't work, and that's pretty essential when you've been traveling all day. The buildings are easy to navigate although some terminals might be further apart like most international airports. Staff are pretty helpful if you need it, although you might get an irritated glance or two. When I went through security today TSA precheck line was closed off, you had to go through the normal line, CLEAR line was open though.
Bryan Vig
I spent time at O'Hare waiting for a connection I'm glad to say the airport seems to be up and running.
The restaurants and shops are open for business and travelers seem to be moving through the airport in a timely fashion.
Masks are required in the airport.
Lyle Robert
Much of daily parking garage is under construction and very confusing, security lines were understaffed for the volume of passengers. The bathroom was clean that is the reason I even gave 4 stars, along with the cool naming scheme they have for the parking lots and reminders in the elevators so you don't forget where you parked which is always a problem for me.
Rommel Lagmay
It may be one of the busiest airports in the world but it’s well organized, and well maintained. You won’t get lost because there are signs everywhere. It’s also a friendly airport with lots of shops and restaurants.
Telo
I dont understand why people are complaining of the airport being crowded or too busy. Its an international airport in one of the biggest cities in the world. What did you expect? As a matter of fact you being at the airport means you are contributing to it being crowded. Maybe fly private if you dont want a crowd. Anyway there are plenty of restaurants inside. The little coffee shop right below AA is price gouging.
Kelly Huang
Beautiful airport. The path to luggage pickup feels like in Vegas. Very vivid and artistic. Signage to rental car area can be more obvious.
Nick M
First
Time at this airport I thought it would have been much larger but I was mistaken, once you land and if you need a rental car you have to take a train for about 30 minutes across the airport to get to the area where the rental
Cars are at , clean airport lots of smoking spots and places to eat. I highly rex one t this airport over midway , I flew thru United in this flight
Ina Griffin
O’Hare Airport- - - so many options, so many food choices- - - who could ask for anything more??? This airport is so huge! There is even shopping for clothes and jewelry. If you forgot to pack something, chances are, you can buy it here. It is very busy, yet spacious enough to handle the large volume of passengers traveling through here!
William Lacy
Overall, it is a fairly nice airport. Especially considering it is a Huge airport. I feel the temp. walkways from plane to boarding area are excessively long and also the up and down stairways you have to use getting from deboarding area to baggage area and then again from there to the tram that then takes you to rental car locations.
Ted Morrissey
It's convenient when flying out of O'Hare. Room was fine. Quiet. I slept well. Dining choices are pricey, but probably to be expected. Food was good, staff friendly. Tech all worked well, like wifi and digital key.
Kevin Mack (LSUKEV)
Flow into Ohara for the umpteenth time. It is a city within a city. On my way to New York City for travel. I got there on time but didn't end up leaving on time. The reason for a two is because the pilots and everyone at Ohara decided to blame New York, and of Course Vise Versa on New York blaming Chicago lol. Was. frustrated didn't get into 2 am in New York so had to shuffle around for what was going to be a long weekend.
John Doe
Its an overall good airport. Check I was smooth, but security lagged behind, identification was slow as their was only one officer present. Security was slow with only two xray lines. The airport suffers from a severe lack of seating in extremely valuable places. There were parents holding screaming children unable to sit down. Some gates were extremely crowded and rowdy. The attitude of Chicago's population wasn't helping, agents were being yelled at. My experience was fine but others may differ.
Shane
The busiest airport in the world! It's huge & can be intimidating, but a great airport with options to travel all over the world. If you can read, you can navigate this large airport easily. It's amazing that this airport even manages to have a large apiary on property. Lots of various dining and retail options are available throughout the different terminals. The airport even has a giant brachiosaurus fossil display!
Jeni Hay
I was only dropping off and picking up so my experience with the airport is external. The organization of it was very nice! We went to the cell phone lot to switch drivers so that the time at terminal curb was very quick. Then when I was picking up I waited in the cell phone lot till I knew the person was curbside for a quick pickup. Signs are well displayed but I also used Google maps for ease.
Suzanne Durkacs
Signage from the Blue Lune to Terminal 5 needs some TLC. We followed the sign to Terminal 2 & 5 and the the signage to T5 stopped. We asked a kind stranger and they directed us to follow the signs to T2 and then ride the escalator up 2 flights and take the airport train to T5. What do non-native English speakers do? Also, this is a nonsmoking airport except for the homeless people camping out in the restrooms. You can smell smoke and refer in there, just like the L. Also, Delta’s gate to MSP is the last possible gate at M3. Long walk. Buy a drink and the plastic glass asks you to recycle it. ORD has zero recycle cans.
Nahani Meuse
Busy city airport. Convenience shopping, food, souvenir shops in terminals. Navigation aided by concourse signage but can be overwhelming for new travelers. Helpful agents. Numerous parking options. Shuttle available.
Terry Reyn
Enormous. Perhaps the longest concourse on earth…. Motorized walkways would be the only game changer here. If you are going between any terminals except 5, an hour is plenty to make your connection. Recent upgrades and updates make this a nice place to change planes.
Jim K
Kind of a maze, but lots of small restaurants and food places scattered around. Overall a neat airport to explore, but might be tough if you have a short layover.
M Miraz Hossain (এম. মিরাজ হোসেন)
Huge rush in O’Hare International Airport arrival.
Currently huge waiting to get into immigration area.
Social distance policy totally collapsed inside airport. Only good thing is people are warning masks. Although people are very patient.
Lack of staffs presence is very visible.
Not too clean inside airport building.
Traveling 747
Nice airport with lot of restaurants and many choices.
For those taking Uber go upper level term 2 zone B it's facing Hilton hotel.
Lenore Campbell
Large and busy airport. Very clean. Staff generally helpful. Many places for food or shopping. A good hub to get you to most places in the US.
Annabelle Veatch
One of the busiest airports in the world and it’s a pretty one, but I wouldn’t recommend the rail service to travel from the airport into Chicago. It can be a scary ride into the city, I would highly recommend getting a taxi or an Uber/Lyft.
kailiang huang
Huge airport with 5 terminals
Tons of stores and lounges
But when you arrive at 5AM only limited amounts of places open
Katie Fiola Jones
I don’t recommend flying southwest here. The international terminal (where southwest flights go in and out from) is a huge mess. It is so chaotic. They take you on a wild hunt to find the baggage claim. If you fly any other domestic flight that is not in termal 5 then you are fine. In fact I like the way they do security for the rest of the terminals because there are multiple entry sites to go through for security so the lines are never very long.
Talal El Khalil
Pleasant atmosphere, overall functional airport ./forget world class shopping ..think food, the waist widening kind ..
Balazs Kiss
Huge airport with unbelievable infrastructure in the background. European flights arrive on Terminal 5, and CTA Blue line trains (subway) leave from Terminal 3.
ASSEF MASALMA
This airport always clean and organized. workers are professional. It’s a big airport so you have to get there early. specially at the traffic time.
Matthew Moses
We had to travel through with many kids and adults. The airport was packed but it was filled with helpful staff. We did feel safe at the airport with the presence of law enforcement so that was a huge plus. The thing bout this airport is that if you don’t know exactly where to go, there will most likely be someone nearby that will be willing to assistance. Above at his airport was clean and easy to navigate if you have any experience with airports and traveling in general.
Rain Mist
Restaurant costs are up, of course, but navigating the concourses was easy, flight schedules seemed accurate, and we had no delays arriving or leaving.
Also, lovely decorations!
Ibrand.Media “Ibrand.Media” Tony
The new terminal 5 by southwest terminals look great! The design reminds me of the Dubai International.
Alex Ritz
This is my first time of traveling to Chicago for a vacation. And I really like the architecture of the Chicago airport. And it’s always fun to explore the architecture of big cities.
XSoCal
Tip for those that need a wheelchair when you arrive. First, call the airlines to request a wheelchair for your flight. But still be prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour for someone to come with a chair. $5 to $10 tip each way depending on how much carry on luggage. You and whoever is traveling with you will go through a separate entrance with no wait at security. If you use a cane like me, they'll lend you their's to go through body scan as your cane goes through xray. When you get to the gate, let airline associate that you need early boarding. This is standard.
Fei stetzwa
Airport but you should get ride of Goose Island beer for it's racist policing of black women and the slowest service. Asking me continuously if I buying something because I was sitting here. Tried to explain I was waiting for my wife in the ridiculously, slow long line for a beer. I know it's hard labor pool and you're not paying people respectable living wage but doggone. I had great time in Chi Town and spent a lot of money here only to be faced with this one the way home. Shame on you.
Bo Selmer Hansen
Despite the monstrous size of this airport, I found it easy to navigate my way around. The place can feel a bit intimidating, especially the first time you visit and have to clear customs and recheck luggage for connecting flights, but I found the staff at the airport to be both helpful and professional, and I got on my way with ease once the formalities were done. Also, there are plenty of food and shopping options while you wait during layovers, which was actually quite nice.
Kevin Johnson
This is a nice airport. This airport moves a little slower than most big airports and feels more relaxed. If you don't know where to go ask anyone who works there.
Kristen Gryzik
Such a nice airport. While it's huge, it's usually a quick chore going from walking into the airport to getting to your gate. It's well organized,a ton of restaurants that hours actually make sense. The seating is some of the best I've seen in any airport all over the world. Always a pleasure flying through O'Hare.
Debra Johnson
Wow! The gates for Southwest have very few seats in them. I am sitting at M6 and there are maybe a total of 16 seats. Maybe another 16 around the corner. The bathrooms are dirty. To be fair people can make sure they throw their paper products where they go. The moving sidewalks aren't moving.
Tatiana Avdjiev
It’s huge, but well organized and if you allow sufficient time, you’ll find your way around. There are tons of places to eat (pricey, of course), not so many for shopping. Plan well!
Klaus Bello
Super busy, modern, currently modernized, lots of walking if you need to go from A to F, but walkways are plenty. It takes approx 20 min. Lots of food vendors and Bars, gift Shops, eateries, healthy and not so much everywhere. Large United customerservice counters and help if needed.
Areas for Kids to play.
This time we were at the AA wing and it was busy again. Food is expensive and not good for a diet...lol
Neel Shah
This airport is nice, even though it is not an ideal place to wait.
The problem with the airport is that every restaurant is closed during night-time, meaning travelers during this time will have to wait for restaurants to open. The only open restaurant at 2AM is a Dunkin, located inside the gates, making it useless for people who have departed their planes.
Furthermore, the airport has 5 terminals, in which terminals 1,2, and 3 are next to each other, while 5 is on the complete other side. That means you will have to take the shuttle bus to get to the other terminals, if you’re in a venture for food.
Other than food, the airport has many seating areas, and has a nice baggage claim area, with a fast baggage claim. Overall, the airport is nice, although it can be very boring for long periods of time…
Matthew Fratu
My home airport never fails to disappoint! Every time I transit through ORD is an exciting experience! As an aviation enthusiast, the variety of planes and airlines cheers me up whether I'm flying out or just driving by!
Barry H.
Huge airport, fantastic USO for our military veterans and troops, friendly airport staff, and lots of walking if you're bored. I wasn't overly impressed with the airport restaurants and their locations but they do have a decent variety. I was hoping they had a centralized food court like Charlotte NC has but thus is life. Nevertheless, you should be able to find something to eat if you walk far enough. My biggest concern is why is the USO lounge so hot when the rest of the airport and shops are pleasantly cool. Why does our veterans in this airport get treated so poorly and why does the USO have to buy portable ac units and pump in cool air into their rooms when the airport can easily supply the same cool air that everyone else gets? Wake up O'Hare.
Bahadir E.
Central location versus other airports. However, many cafes and areas are still closed because of covid 19 or under construction. Limited bathrooms and areas to fill water bottle. Passing security is fairly simple as they have numerous stations set up. If you have priority pass you are out of luck unless you're flying internationally (terminals 2 and 5).

Owowow what a Airport is really big and nice. The place is really organized
Alexander Bergen
My first time there my flight got delayed a while so I wandered around, as a foreigner I have to say it was very mesmerizing my first time I was never bored despite the five or so hours I had to stay. Plenty of places to eat, and very comfy seating all around the airport. Overall; Very nice
Idrees Barikzai
They are announcing the free Wi-Fi every 20 minutes but in real the Wi-Fi never connects on any device, the solution is you have to hire new IT workers because current airport IT team don’t know that you have to maximize the IP address on the routers/severs so more people can connect.
Donna Addleman
I was caught in the rainstorm of Newark and had a 4 hour wait on the plane until the skies were free from the storm. As a result, I missed my connection to my final destination. After finding customer service I was in the company of 200+people in the same boat. The 10 +people manning the computers did their best to reroute us. It was around midnight when the lines ended. I slept at the airport and went to the gate for the first connection to my destination. I told the person my story, she listened, logged in and found me a seat for the morning flight instead of the evening flight. So grateful. I was home in no time. United worked hard to get me and hundreds of other people home safely. Thank you United. Your staff are aces.
Matthew Sturrock
For being such a large and busy airport, it had the amenities of a mid tier airport. I was expecting much larger terminals and food options. Seemed pretty crowded and needing updates. Security and boarding were really quick though, fastest security I have been through, so that's a plus!
Robert Palma
Very busy, every area is numbered and label with directions in every corner. Airport employees willing to help you out if needed. Mens bathrooms not too clean.
Nick Ostman
Generally this is usually a good airport compared with others in the country. It is spacious and typically clean as well as featuring clear signage and great art.
That being said there could definitely be process improvements. I think terminal 5 (international) is under construction and there were very few agents at customs so my one flight spent easily over an hour in line. Some of the layout and pathing decisions seem rather poor and unnecessarily cumbersome. I hope staffing appropriate amounts per role is not a consistent issue
Prince Che
First time passing through. I missed a flight but the happy and always considering customer service rescheduled my new flight in just two hours. The environment is one of a kind. But food and water is quite expensive. Make sure you have food if you plane to stay around the airport for long. I bought two sandwich and a bottle of water at 30$
Dan StlMo
Not as clean as some, lot's of food courts. Easy transfer, we did not have to change terminals.
Ed Mahr
Everything went surprising well. On time or early even. Great flights and awesome service.
Michael Nelsen
World class airport. Friendly security and airport staff, was pleasantly surprised given the stereotype of big city airports. Food and beverage options inside are pretty standard. Would loved to have seen more local or unique places to get a bite to eat rather than McDonald's or Starbucks.
Jake Malone
I had a interesting experience here. Got off my flight for terminal 3 and was going for terminal 5. If you are going for a int flight the signs are so confusing and had me in a bit of a panic in all honesty. Had me out in a parking garage. Hopefully this review here will help someone. You'll see a sign that says terminal 5 and make a left and you'll walk past TSA. (it's right where the stairs are). Then where all the check in counters are (American, spirit, delta, etc) (Pic attached) don't listen to the sign to walk up the stairs but literally go outside. There is a bus that will take you to terminal 5, you do have to ask the driver which terminal the bus is going too. You'll have to go through TSA again at terminal 5 so it takes a little bit tbh.
Also, airport was super clean and friendly. Very few USB chargers for a city like Chicago was disappointing at least in terminal 5.
Fabio Narita
RENTAL CAR TERMINAL: easy to get there by taking the airport bus on the departure terminal. We didn't need to wait so long to get into the bus and it is only 10 min drive. Once there, well organized lines by rental company. The staff though could be more polite and attentive, especially from Budget.
Kirsten Keana Brogdon
Had a 1 hr 45 min short layover here and fortunately it was just long enough to not feel too rushed getting to my gate. It was quite the trek (20 minutes) though, they could really use a train or other means to make the walk easier between concourses. Not everyone has that long of a layover or can walk that fast gate to gate. Airport didn't feel the cleanest either. Otherwise it seemed it had lots of amenities inside, some cool areas with high ceilings or lights to look at as you're walking.
Vincent Randy Heslop
One of the best airports in the US, many great restaurant options and shopping! It's easy to get lost, as it's so large, but plenty of signage to help you along. Easy to transition from gateway, luggage carousel to transportation. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎 …
Ernest Tamayo
Place is nat as small Austin Berg. But we did enjoy the food while we were here. Mainly McDonalds. They do not have deals here is you use the app. But they do allow you to collect points. And you cannot redeem free items with the app. Wine was $9 for a 6 ounce, or $16 for a 16 ounce. Kale salad was delicious. Oh, and I almost bought some versace glasses from Sunglass hut.
Sandy Jacobs
All signs led the way clearly to where I needed to go-that is appreciated-not all airports are as User Friendly!!
Came in on a domestic flight in the International Terminal-baggage was accessible in a fair amount of time and it was so nice to go to catch a ride home and not have anyone yelling and threatening to ticket or tow your car when waiting a few minutes for your friends or family!!
Matt Reynolds
So it was better than I remember we are on time where will we get to other flights with no hang UPS. They had very little construction going on which was nice and we were able to To get a Starbucks before our next flight all in all I have to say a pretty good trip.
Cindi Bryan
Our wheel chair pushers we're great they tried there best to get us to our flight on time. The security people not so nice to people in wheel chairs. This is a very large airport leave plenty of time especially if traveling internationally
Matthew Cruz
I had a connecting flight I was boarding here, so not much insight on the check-in process. That being said, there are plenty of eating options, the staff is courteous, and the place is clean. There is also "all-gender bathrooms" outside of the typical ones, which was a cool thing to see that this business is being inclusive!
Grant A
Actually a well laid out airport. Lots of restaurants and amenities once you get inside the gates. Staff is helpful. Outside of the terminal has more homeless than I have ever seen at an actual airport terminal.
Pro tip: Pick up for ride share apps is at terminal 2.
Candice Ray
One of my more favorite airports to fly through. Thankful both gates were in same bay. However a ride across the tar Mac is always a good time. Make sure you allow at least 1 to 2 hour layover over do you can get to your gate.
Mike Linley
What can you really say about an airport? It's not like if you don't like something you can just go down the street to the next airport and use that one. We were pretty happy with O'Hare Airport. There were USB and 110 volt outlets on a lot of the seats. Also, near most of the drinking fountains, there was a place to fill water bottles, which was nice.
Kristie Strieby
Beautiful, big, artsy airport. Wide hallways, lots of choices of restaurants and gift shops. This airport has lots of plugs for layover and personal needs.
Jose “El Chavo” Duran
Chicago’s very own O’Hare airport, can be a bit confusing to navigate but once you are in your terminal it’s a pretty seamless process getting trough TSA.
Stephanie H
This is one of the most amazing airports to travel through. There are plenty of places to eat and even do some light shopping. The corridor with the international flags is beautiful. It’s fast paced and you will run into people if not cautious lol! I love this airport!
Deb Turley
I mean. it's an airport! Excepting the signage in one elevator (mislabled floors), O'Hare was a pretty good airport. Easy to get around, clean, good terminal/gate signage, and many restaurants/shops to bide your time in. The restrooms were very clean and well-stocked. The employees were cheerful.
Nancy Wadie
The best airport I have ever been in USA. Beautiful and so clean. The ceiling definitely is amazing.
Johnnie Hoskins
Flew out of O'Hare on United. Took less that 20 minutes to get through TSA. With plenty of dinner choices available in the airport I was quickly served at the Chili's to-go. Everything was relatively quick for the size of the airport.
Sam Rauhalammi
This busy but we'll organized major hub (United and American, focus city for: Frontier, Southwest, Spirit) for air travel offers everything that you would expect from an airport that serves many domestic and international routes. Designed to be a successor for Midway Intl'n Airport, its golden era was during jet age, but it still offers a strong contender for connecting flights.
Chicago O'Hare (ORD) shows some signs of an aging airport, with various renovation projects resulting in some extended hikes for a passenger (in addition to it's already large size). Although generally maintained at a sufficient level, be prepared for some general dirtyness that comes with an operation of this scale. The crowds seem large, regardless of the hour of the day. Be prepared for a bit of a chaotic experience if catching a shuttle service to one of the airport hotels.
While maintaining social distancing has proven to be a challenge for many airports during the COVID pandemic, kudos needs to be given for the availability and promotion of COVID tests for the traveling public.
Oksana Kryukov
Not crowded and easy with TSA, many places to eat
Lunara Ryspay
This airport has great staff.
Thanks you for your help.
I was late for a transit flight and they helped me.
You are the best, thank you ❤️
10/02/2022
My flight NY-Chicago-Detroit.
mike yankow
Not bad for a big airport. Many food selections
Christian Chase
You must say that I was very impressed with how fast they shuttle everyone through security.
Have a family line if you have a child under 11 so that's helpful.
They take a no nonsense approach but it really works.
Nikeeta FoxFive
Busy but nice. We sat in the USO then ventured to our gate. We had a couple gate changes but its clearly marked on the board plus I got emails. The food smelled good lol
Wade Russell (Wade)
This place has a wonderful selection of men to look at. The food selection was also pleasing as well. They were able to adequately host my airline so that I could board it and fly to my destination. That TSA line though... Can we talk about this. There is no need to snake me through; give me a clean shot straight through. And have you heard of air conditioning? Hotted air tends to make humans cranky.
Adesh Saxena
Very crowded but big.
Well connected for all terminals.
Lot of restaurants options.
Kenya Ouko
Nice places to eat and restaurants they get 5⭐. Now some of the security @TSA Checkpoint.... They are little rude and petty, I had a small shot of liquor, I didn't have to take it out of my purse but I was being honest. The lady made me throw it out but I never had that problem at MY Airport.🤦🏾♀️ …
Bill BJ Huffman
Checked in to United Terminal 1 on an international flight. Was able to use the kiosk (no waiting). Dropped the bags (stood behind 1 family for 2 minutes) and then on to a very short TSA line (at 9am on Monday morning). Very well organized!
Thakur Sharma
The hallways are crowded and there seems to always be someone running to catch a flight. But guess what? It’s an international airport and their whole staff is doing there very best to allow you to have a good experience. Instead of saying it’s crowded think of how many people they are helping. The flights are great.
Ryan Mattioli
Very busy but efficient airport. TSA line moves quickly even with a large number of people. Good food options. There are multiple United Club lounges. You can fly pretty much anywhere in the world from here. Operations does very well with baggage. The wintertime de-icing process is also usually pretty fast. I don't mind coming through here to make a connecting flight when it makes sense. The bathrooms are generally clean. Removed one star because it's showing its age although the city of Chicago is putting money into the airport.
Mahmoud Abdel-Rahman
Busy but organized and everyone is doing their best to get passengers where they need to be. Always reminds me of a beehive where everyone is working effeciently. 👌👍 …
Joseph L
Very long walk from end of International Terminal (Gates 28-33) to Baggage Claim. No moving walkways in that direction either. Only going TO the gates. About 1.5 miles. And when tired at night feels longer. No shops, bars, or restaurants either. I took Southwest. Airport gave them very poor gates. (Delta too). Suggest you go to Midway instead if flying Southwest
Donna Borthwick
Nothing much changed at O'Hare, compared to other recent airports I visited Tampa/St Pete, Orlando, Key West, as far as shopping, restaurants. But I must say it's not busy,so you can check baggage quickly and it's usually a 10 minutes getting through security... love that. Flying is not all bad either 🙂 …
Christine Alaniz
Crowed as hell. But we had Great Service with the American Airlines Stewardess were helpful and very greatfull. Plus the runners to help with my son that is disabled.
Rental will someone took are rental car the rental people help find another vehicle for us.
Crazy but Love there help.
Louis DeFranco
Looking good as always. Fun day of plane spotting while waiting for my flight!
Thomas Sorrill
Crowded but handled very efficiently and smoothly. Check in, security, and boarding all trouble free and fast. Airport itself has wide selection of food and shops. You definitely will not starve.
Caesar Abcarius
It was difficult to locate my luggage. Most workers wanted to herd me to the lines: immigration, baggage, customs, Train to switch terminals, TSA anew... Only one was sympathetic enough to direct me to a staff who found that my bag had gone to Dallas on flight 81 instead of 91 to Chicago. Will still have to file a claim at my final destination on the West coast.
Gary Keegstra
I have been to O'Hare International Airport many times. There are many lodging accommodations and car rental choices. For those who have a long layover, perhaps you will be able to visit the air museum. That has never been my experience. I have had to rush to catch my plane more than once.
The thing about this airport that is quite significant is that the "L" now runs south of the airport to downtown and many points west. Those of us who are quite familiar with Chicago now no longer have to have friends and family take us back and forth to the airpoint. You just have to access this line anywhere on it's route to the airport as well as coming from the airport.
Stephen Turner
Just a quick visit, off the aircraft, collect baggage, and met our ride to stay. Plenty of stores to get anything and plenty of staff to guide you to where to go. Beautifully decorated for Christmas it was a pleasure to end our travels here at O'Hare. 3°C it was lovely and warm inside.
N Gra
It's an airport. Bathrooms are gross every time I have a layover, and it seems like they are rarely checked.
Decent food choices depending on your gates the flight attendants on AA out of O'Hare always rock, some of the nicest out there.
Angela Brown
Decorated nicely for the holiday. Lots of stores and places to eat. I only gave it 4 stars because the young lady working at one of the shops (where you can get snacks and drinks in) in terminal 3, had a rush and it must have taken all of her “good cheer” she spoke to no customers and it was evident she was not happy to be there.
William Lim
O'Hare is a big place, this time it was a good visit. Although it felt like a long time driving on the Tarmac after landing. Good thing I was able to still watch the onboard entertainment! We had to wait for my daughter's flight and my nephew's flight to land before taking the tram to the rental car. It all worked out just plan accordingly 😌
Jim Spoolstra
I give O'Hare 3 stars only because I've been to better airports. Because it's Chicago the lines are longer, the gates are farther, and gate areas are crowded. Every worker I encountered did their jobs and I have no complaints. I like smaller airports where people have time to talk.
James “Jay” George
We took a short trip to Florida and traveled from and returning to O’Hare International Airport. The airport was busy as usual, but the parking was full in Lots F and G to the point that they gave us a voucher to park in the Daily parking lot A - the main airport by the terminals. The voucher gave us the same price we would pay at the lower priced lots. I was impressed with that!
Olubukola
Travelled with AA, terminals were pretty close to one another.
Susan Reilly
O’Hare is the best airport in the world hands down. People who travel a lot know you can get just about anywhere in the world many times directly. The workers are great. The airport is clean and I am always happy to call Chicago my home and to have O’Hare as my hub. If you are going overwhelmed because it is big slow down and read the signs. If you are still overwhelmed ask someone for help. Chicagoans are the friendliest people in the world.
Emely Balderas
This is my third time flying from O'hare during the Holidays and I always love the decorations that are set up. Apart from that, I absolutely love that everything is very clean, there is always someone in case you need help with anything and it is also easy to navigate around the airport.
Keisha Alexander
Beautiful airport with great selection of food options. Garrett’s popcorn is my favorite.
Radka Fu
Clean and easy to navigate environment. Ones you are pass the security checkpoint it's really easy to navigate
Rebecca Rockwood
I want to give a SPECIAL thank you to Jerry (I think in Lufthansa in Terminal 1, next to United) and Fred H., (in United, Terminal 1) for their outstanding service upon my arrival to the airport!
Struggling with three very heavy suitcases as I am moving to Europe, Mr. Jerry was the first to help me immediately as soon as I walked through the doors. He was SO helpful and friendly, and somehow managed to take all of my suitcases to the United check-in kiosk, where Fred H. just magically seemed to be waiting there like he’d been waiting there just for me to arrive. He scanned my passport and everything for me and had my boarding passes in seconds! He also helped me with the weight of my luggage and helped keep me calm and collected and play Tetris with transferring some items into different suitcases to distribute the weight better.
I’ve flown out of O’Hare many times, but this time, as I’m moving abroad, I had been very nervous about how I was going to manage three heavy suitcases through the airport…but these two men made the entire experience feel like the seas just parted effortlessly for me. THANK YOU Mr. Jerry and Fred H for ALL of your generous help!!! I’ll never forget you!! ❤️
Daphne “DC” Carter
The signage to rental car location is awful. I've had better experiences in foreign airports, written in languages that I don't understand. Lots of other good stuff in O'HARE, but the signage definitely needs improvement.
I was there 3 months ago, a night and actually had to use a different rental car company, because I missed the one where I had my car reserved. Myself and several other travelers couldn't find the rental car area, because the signage is inadequate.
As a matter of fact, there was a traveler with me today, who experiencing the issue. We figured out together...
Crux
O'Hare airport is alright but can be better. Starting from getting into the airport, traffic in peak time (Thu/Fri night and Mon morning) is crawling. Security checkpoint is now much better than pre-pandemic. Food choices, restroom can be made better.
xopattycakeox
Huge and unorganized. I know in another review I said rome airport wasn’t disability friendly. (So just add this to that list. Never had a problem in Charlotte or Barcelona or Newark etc). I know we are all understaffed right now but than make due with what you have and make it happen. Don’t leave people standing when they can’t physically. Better choices of food near gates but we didn’t have enough time for something to eat as we had to wait for someone to bring me with my wheelchair
I'm just me
Hmm... Airports are somewhat difficult to be in the anxiety that they bring, the rushing from terminal to terminal it's stressful. Chicago is a large and complex airport however there are lots of safety features, which is nice when traveling with kids and as a woman alone. Cameras in multiple locations and vendors (most are friendly and helpful) all over. They are surprisingly clean (that's impressive considering the volume of daily traveller's) bathrooms are very well kept. Lots of extra amenities in the airport to pass the time also. I hate to travel, but it's less challenging when you have a place that feels safe and friendly.
Savannah Weitzel
It's a huge airport with a lot of pretty cool artwork and had a lot of stuff to do. A lot of it went away due to COVID, but there's still lots of restaurants. It also takes time to get to your gates so plan accordingly. Plus most of the time they have delays and cancellations.
Kim Nickle
We had 1h 15m layover at O'Hare and it was barely enough time. By the time we disembarked from the plane and walked a few miles to our next terminal, our flight was boarding already.
Allow yourself plenty of time and move quickly. This place is huge.
Charlie Callari
Busy busy busy. Lots of people in a hurry. Plenty of places to eat. The prices are a bit high. Not a lot of places to sit down and eat if you don’t go to a specific restaurant. Overall decent airport for a layover
Julian Gamboa
Pretty busy airport but TSA Precheck has never been longer than 10 mins.
Dylan M
Perfectly fine international airport with a lot of connections. The way the terminals are split apart can be inconvenient, especially for first time travelers. Most annoying of note is the fact that Alaska flies out of Terminal 3, but bags are checked (& picked up) at Terminal 2.
It would also be nice if the hotel shuttles were closer to the terminals, too-- directions to the shuttle depot are a little hard to follow.
Perks Advisor
Sometimes it is amazing how they keep the traffic moving on a cold, snowy day at O’Hare in part the answer is a caravan of snow plows. The airport is almost always busy and offers from positive attributes. There is a Hilton Hotel that is attached which can be great for very early flights. Additionally, you can take the “L” or Chicago’s subway directly into the city without having to go outside. While large the airport is relatively easy to navigate and you do not feel like you are forever walking.
Almas Owaisi
Crowded as it's one if the busiest airports in the world , but good service. Beware of bringing any kind of food items especially meats, fresh fruits etc as that's all strictly banned and what they really check ✔️ at customs !
Donghyun Kang
Staff for American Airlines was friendly and able to accommodate switching flights due to delays. Very clean establishment and straightforward for any visitors. One of the better domestic airports I’ve been to!
Ray Johnson
Entering from overseas, you are funneled into a mile-long (literally) line with limited restroom facilities (two), so be sure to stop off! At the end of that line is ... another line that snakes through a maze until you finally get to customs where ... you stand in line (albeit, a much shorter one) to be processed. All told an hour and 20 minutes. To be fair, there were multiple large flights landing about the same time, so there was a large influx. On the other hand, there were empty custom booths, so additional agents would have been helpful.
Once you're through all that you'll find yourself at Terminal 5. Low ceilings, aging toilets, with a solitary sub-standard McDonalds as the only eating choice, it has a dreary bus station theme - Welcome to Chicago! Chicago definitely does not present a very welcoming picture to new arrivals. I'd be less critical if I hadn't for years heard that they were always making improvements in the future that never happened.
One last note: Flying out of the international terminal is a 180' difference. Short- to non-existant lines, plenty of people to help, nice facilities, very pleasant.
Stefanie Flores
Comfortable chairs to lounge between flights good salads in food court
Jeremy Somers
Very helpful staff. Made it super easy to fly with my cat. Side note, call ahead when traveling with a pet. They have a certain limit of animals per flight. Didn't cost me, just trying to save someone else the hassle of getting bumped.
Alexa Barrios
Airport was very clean, and the staff was very nice. Security checkpoint personnel were very nice and patient with my mom who was in a wheelchair. The restaurants after the security checkpoint are why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The fast food was practically inedible, and the other trendier restaurants were soooo expensive. Panda express food that is normally $8 was $15 at the airport. Alot of rude people serving at the restaurants, but I think its because the customers can be very rude.
Steve Steinberg
I was passing through terminal b for the first time. Not a great range of food options and most no healthy ones. Very crowded with narrow halls and insufficient seating for the number of traveller's. But good clean restrooms. Glad I had my own food on hand.
Eva Gundermann
I was only at terminal 1. There were a few bars and places where snacks were sold. The Gates and boarding areas are too small. It's better not to spend too much time here, as there are not enough seating areas.
Craig Arnush
The place seems nice enough, but Terminal 5 doesn't have an efficient Border Control Entry. We spent two hours standing in line with no separation of types of travellers and no provision made for people with connecting flights. Not quite nightmare territory, but certainly not a pleasant experience.
Mark Nickerson
For such a busy airport, with so many passengers and so many terminals they really do a good job of moving people through, avoiding congestion and getting people in and out of the airport itself. One of my favorite hubs to transit. Way better than Newark, LAX, or DFW.
Samm James
This airport is huge. Love all the Christmas trees at this time of the year. It can seem overwhelming. It is possible to navigate if one pays attention to the signs. When coming back to the states from abroad, the customs can be time consuming. I needed help when I first arrived at this airport - a customer service agent named Ray was my angel. I will never forget his kindness and support.
Scott Dohrmann
O'Hare is sprawling and typically very busy. It can be a long walk between gates. The facility is showing its age, from the 80's mall-vibe of the decor and architecture to the leaky roofs and an HVAC system that can't keep it cool when it's hot out or warm when it's cold out. Pro tip: make a game out of finding a seating area with outlets that work - even the ones that are lit up are often not working.
Rich Hitchens
The new Delta terminal( 5) is very attractive. The upgraded Delta club is now up to par. Another big help is Clear is now in terminal 5. They do however need a traditional Chicago hot dog vendor in terminal 5.
SmknJeep Handsaw Creek
I love this airport. It flows very nice and it is never a hassle to get in or out of here. There are times when you will be overwhelmed by the magnitude of people but they flow like water. Chicago is still a beautiful place.
Chad Chima
Super friendly TSA, not crowded. Traffic was not ridiculous like LAX and my taxi could move through the airport grounds quite quickly. On the whole a nice airport.
Johnathan Stewart
This place is big and crazy! Be prepared to walk a lot. It took me some time to get to the baggage claim and then I learned that there are 2 sections for United airlines. If you are booking an Uber do it in advance if possible. If you don't the prices double. It is a beautiful airport and it has many things to look at while walking.
Granville Orr
Probably one of the biggest airports I've ever been to, but starting to show its age. Signage is dated and they need to have better Logistics setup; for instance, better visual displays and signage to direct customers to baggage claim
Fuad Al-Aali
Clean well organized airport. Good amenities, abundant food choices.
Go early TSA lines can get long but do move fast and efficiently.
Ruben Marquez
Really big airport. Plan accordingly
Arrived from Rome at international terminal
It is a long walk. If you have global entry it goes a little faster.
You must grab checked bags and recheck at connections
Take a train to next terminal
So plan on walling alot
Deedra Walker Penny
There are many things I like about Ohare airport. Plenty of vendors and amenities. HOWEVER....big thing missing is lack of electrical outlets outside of the terminal and baggage claim. I was stuck here with a wait. Sat in the wheelchair area where seats were plentiful but there were no chargers or USB ports to be seen. I had to work in the bathroom. With my temporary disability, this made me miserable.
Please...operations manager, address this. I know there is no intent to make people comfortable outside of the terminal, but things do happen where this has now become a necessity.
Lian Hoy Lee
Big airport. You may have to walk quite Abit to get to your terminal.
Sutton Buhr
1st time at O'Hare. My gate was changed twice and the flight was delayed twice after the gate changes. Good thing I had a long layover.
They held up another flight for people who stopped to get food before boarding. While people on standby were there to board.
Gopal Bachani
Spacious, quick reach to all Air travel related services & facilities! Happy & smiling staff be it ground, airlines & security! What more one can ask for... You Hv All the mouth watering food choices for people from All over the World!
Ann Brandt
I wish there were better ways to get from one end of a concourse to the other. We had a tight connection and that was quite a jog. But they got our luggage onto the next plane very efficiently! So that's a win.
Mateusz Hawryszczyszyn
Flying in - not the shortest checked in luggage wait. Train to car rental ok. Waiting time for car rental are horrific!
Flying out - so so fast business security check, very little duty free shops with almost none options in Terminal 1. Business lounge Polaris was very good!
Tonya Fisher
Pleasantly surprised by my visit through O'Hara this trip. Plenty of room to stretch out, charge up, and get a bite to eat. Hot tip: hit up the vending machines for a cheaper snack option-use your debit card or bring your quarters.
Candi Spor
Everything went smooth. Little bit of a wait in line for food, but to be expected. Restrooms stocked and clean.
Mariano G
I am someone who uses the wheelchair ♿️ service at O'Hare and today was the best experience I have ever had using an airport wheelchair service. This young man not only pushed my chair, but he wrangled my luggage off the belt and got all of it, and me, to my pick up location. He also offered to remain with me untill my ride appeared, but I knew he was needed by other handicapped ♿️ travelers. Needless to say, I gave him a very handsome tip for his dedicated efforts. More of the pushers at this airport should be like this young man. Bravo, there is hope for humanity.
Jack Philbin
Word to the eise - Do not attempt to retrieve your hat if it blows off your head onto a runway. Those jets are really, really fast & it's tougher than you think to dodge 'em! Chicago airline police didn't think my antics were appropriate, either.
F/Y/I, writing this as I sit in a holding cell. I'll comment on these respective accommodations in a future post...
Seth Baker
The rudest TSA agents you can find. Clearly hate their job. Don't let them get under your skin (as they have mine). Honestly, it was just one guy power tripping.
Otherwise, the line was pretty quick and we didn't need to remove our laptops or shoes.
Food is actually good, although overpriced (at every airport - to be expected. I loved Cafe Zoot near the C terminals. Breakfast bagel was great and the coffee was decent without the Starbucks sized lines.
Steven Bell
Flew in on British Airways and requested a wheel chair which was waiting for me. Whisked me thru security, customs and immigration and baggage pick up and out to the front door. Awesome, quickest I've ever gotten out of the airport.
Mike McKanna
Haven't been to/thru OHare in YEARS and the place looks the same as my first flight there 30 years ago. None of the outlets by the seats worked for me (H gates) and the restrooms need a huge overhaul. Otherwise, the food options are better than many other airports I travel.
Satabdi Banerjee
I love this airport. The bathrooms are clean. There is usually a lot of rush just because of the nature of how big the airport is. We usually get the best rates here and our airport of choice.
Chuck Chastain
It's a massive organism of human ingenuity and if a person is easily distracted, they may miss a flight before they know it. But if one has their priorities lined up and has time to kill between flights, I encourage you to take it all in in all it's organized chaos! Tons of little shops and food places, it's a city in itself really
Steven McHugh
Best Airport on Earth!!! There's no where like Sweet Home Chicago!!!
Shaun Haynes
Well laid out airport. All staff and security super friendly. Veryclean and tidy with cleaners working all the time I was there. Restrooms where pretty good considering high volume of passengers.
Ankita Banerjee
Nice airport in Chicago with a good selection of food and shopping options. The toilets could use some cleaning. Otherwise not bad.
I liked the food court area in terminal 3. Pretty wide options to choose from and ample seating areas. Lots of shops to get souvenirs from and me and hubby also grabbed some chocolates from Rocky Mountain chocolate factory.
Mason Dowless
A really good and efficient airport experience. Every bathroom was very clean and the lines moved surprisingly quickly considering how busy it was. One of the best airport experiences that I have had.
Harriet Youngblood
Ok but foods higher priced and limited restaurants in the area. So, travel with intelligence for your own desire in case the plane is cancelled and you need to change your plans and if the train or bus is taking too long then you may need better food and beverage. Also, the car rental may not have available staff on duty to help you if hungry and you're not with a working mobile phone battery before getting a rental car service contract to pay in person for your rental car service.
Sungwan Cho
Airport was clean and staffs were working efficiently although not kind. I hope they can offer transportation between terminals to avoid additional security check.
Dave Christen
Pretty efficient airport. Try your best to learn how to use the United app and they will tell you how to move between gates. Also, United Club on C can be packed, regularly, so manage your expectations if you are a frequent flier club user
Carlota Hopinks-Baul
Terminal 5 is a work in progress. Arrived today, 13 Aug. 2022, and there's only one luggage carousel (#9) for domestic (Southwest) flights but, surprise, it is also being used for some international flights. Be prepared for a very long walk to get there and outright, complete, utter chaos. Keep your boarding pass handy -- you may need it to get past security to get to #9 (for real!).
And then there's the adventure of finding your ride. Unless you want to fight the limos (parked unattended without any admonition from the airport cops; whose drivers load luggage at a snail's pace; and whose passengers dawdle about, clogging up the works with 0 regard for others), don't wait near the 5D exit. Meet your ride at exit 5B or thereabouts -- less drama there. Hopefully, things will get better soon. For now, expect the worst and be prepared for an exercise in patience or exasperation, depending on your nature.
Benjamin Cassidy
I don't really have a lot to say about this airport, but my one gripe with it is signage. They'll point the right direction, but at the same time not or not clear about what's in that so called direction.
Other than everything else is pretty good no problems with me while I've been here.
Carlo Cimo
They appear to be short staffed at the airport. Long lineups and waiting times. The staff on duty were very polite and friendly, the issue is not with them but general human resource management. The chairs at each of the gates waiting areas are all torn up, makes me want to gag to sit on them. Poor choice in restaurants but thankfully they had a McDonald's to get some ice coffee!
Vanessa Knox-Harris
I experienced Terminal 5. Clean and beautiful.
Don't show up earlier than 3am for a 5 am flight with Delta, as they don't open until 330am. We arrived at 230am due to the holiday. Sat for awhile. Then other travelers came in later and jumped right in line before others who had been waiting.
Delta only had one agent at the counter for at least 30 mins alone managing 2 lines until her coworkers arrived. There's not a lot of walkway so it appears crowded with all the other airlines waiting.
The arrival gates were much closer than the main Terminals.
I thought it was strange for the Uber driver to be standing alongside the taxi driver asking if people needed a ride... isn't that against the rules for Uber and unsafe? Be careful.
Caroline G.
Staff were all nice but the airport is poorly organised with long waits for everything, and price gouging of food options ($12 for a cold premade sandwich for example). Baggage claim was a joke, taking another 45 minutes after we'd already walked 30 minutes through the airport to reach it.
Wendell Miller
Very busy airport but overall accommodating. Some of the TSA personnel like to raise their voices but I guess they do have a stressful job trying to protect us.
Ella Dabek
If you are coming from terminal 5 international and have domestic connection flight, you need at least 2 hours layover with passport control and going through security line again. Only if you lucky, you will make it in shorter time. Just my thoughts.
Marcus Walker (Magnum Mediatainment)
This airport is large with many open food options. The signs are well visible to allow for a quick jog from one gate to the next. I traveled aboard American Airlines to my final destination.
kenneth ringsted
What's the sense of having first class entrance at TSA of their closed most times. No sense buying first class tickets if you have to wait in general line. I'm tsa per-ckeck and have first tickets. But my friend that Isn't TSA per-check which was attached to my ticket first class as well. Had to go through huge line up of general check in cause first class was closed in the afternoon. This almost caused us to miss our plane. This really needs to be fixed plus the TSA people checking our ID and boarding passes were rude and pushy. I know we're all over worked but we still need to have compassion
Kiernan Butz
The people hired to direct traffic in front of the terminals are, generally speaking, rude, ineffectual bullies completely lacking in customer relations skills or traffic management skills. They seem to be continually threatening to ticket airport patrons meeting passengers on the arrivals area, and uselessly waving their lighted wands in the beliefs that they are somehow alleviating traffic congestion.
LARRY ALLEN
Chicago Aviation Department needs to work on the signage from baggage claim to the rental car center. In the elevator, it never mentions a rental car or the floor. The elevator is too small for several people trying to get to the bottom, where you walk to the train platform. There is no signage once you get off the elevators to guide you to the escalators to go down the stairs to the trail forum. The biggest time waster is from getting from baggage to the rental car center.
Amanda Martin
Finding our way around this airport was easy.
Belinda Williams
Clean, modern, organized. The only thing I didn't like about this airport was the number of people. It was fairly crowded, but there were enough seats to accommodate everyone with seats to spare.
Rafael Gonzalez
Great terminals and great lounges. The flagship lounge is very new and luxury. The food is better than most airports and don’t forget to see the Christmas decorations.
Christine D. Page
Chicago International Airport shines this holiday! The AA terminal is spacious, clean and organized. Each gate has a lighted wreath and everything is festive…
Jenessa Wadlington
I like this airport. To me its very easy to navigate. However, it needs to be desperately updated with some type of train system between Terminals. Terminal 5 is a got mess in itself. There also needs to be a better system coming in from out of the country. I stood in the customs lounge for an hour and a half after my flight landed..TORTURE! They had the visitor and US citizens line combined...it should be separate. There should be some special accommodations for those of us who have permanent residence in US. They have this in other countries, so not sure why we have dropped the ball on this!
Tim Pipkin
Older airport needs a lot of updates. Bathroom are not very clean. Staffing is hit or miss as to how well they perform customer service. There are a lot restaurants available and other stores.
Curtis Laster
Parking is a nightmare, TSA lines are long. There is an emphasis on commercial businesses but the prices are too high. There is seldom a focus on comfort for the traveler. Baggage claim is slower than other airports and accessing information is a bit difficult with all the ppl moving around.
Madeline Gorge
Very low tech airport. Not nearly enough electric outlets or charging ports. Most of the kiosks were understaffed and I didn't see any self-checkout options to expedite grabbing a quick snack/meal. Additionally, by 7:30 most kiosks and food options were already closed - disappointing for such a large airport.
Squish
Clean and spacious, only complaint is that the only things open are mcdonalds and Starbucks in the early morning. Doesn't make sense to close smoothie places, ect.. for the morning flyers. Seems like 2 really bad choices for long flights
Yousef Hammad
Large airport hub, recommend to come at least 2 hours early when traveling.
Matt Willigman
Nice room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom could have used a refresh but everything was clean. Friendly staff. Food at restaurant and the event I was at was fresh but way to salty.
Andi Lusha
O'hare is a very big airport, which means lots of food options and walking around to kill time. The airport is slowly being updated, with the O'hare Modernization Program. It's getting bigger and better. A great place for connecting or visiting the city. The Blue Line train can take you Downtown Chicago in about 40 mins. A great way to get to the city and avoid traffic. Also, the most economical way ($5) to travel to and from the airport. The airport is clean and well maintained. Highly recommend walking from United to American concourse. It's a great way to exercise and kill time. Lots of hotel and restaurant options near the airport. Fashion Outlets of Chicago is only 5 minutes away. O'hare has it all. Enjoy!
Aayus Subedi
Huge airport and magnificent infrastructure. However, immigration lines were long. Waited over 2 hours to get through US customs. Recommend getting a global entry if you're transiting through this airport.
Albert Rothman
Great airport overall, but stands out as even pricier than usual (I expected high prices, but not exorbitant). More importantly, it seems like they need some major maintenance. Broken chairs and outlets at the gates, broken water dispenser, etc.
Sherry Sherry
Best to have a longer layover... even with the timezone difference!! I barely made it to my departure gate on time because it's such a huge airport and you've gotta boogie to get from one massive terminal to the other... all the while, wishing you could stop to grab a bite/water or use the restroom!
Sanjay Kak
Very traveller friendly airport.great lounges.very helpful team.
Hainan Su
Nice airport with a decent car rental place. Nice train connections. The boarding gates are sometimes difficult to find, particularly American Eagle flights. Safer than MDW airport. I hope that there will be more non-stop flights to East Asia, like Tokyo NRT and ICN.
QUÝ KHANG NGUYỄN
Nice place, most beautiful airport of the world.
Steff M
I flew southwest, was in terminal 5 and my goodness its was so confusing when I arrived. The signage was poor, I couldnt figure out agreed to go too exit, to ride share area after 5 minutes wandering in eventually figured out how to get to for 5b which was near the ridesharing area. Departure was just as difficult the lines were disorganized took me some time find a screen that showed were southwest baggage checkin was 5f, I had enterend near turkish airlines so it was far side.
Tattman
Always loved landing here but that McD's needs help or something. Food was as good as Mc D's can be. But employees dragging their feet and looking as if it bothers them to serve you bothers me. Especially when you're supposed to be King of convenience and speed. Sorry for the rant just saying.
Michael Gaydos
Very smooth, Covid free, experience flying with United. Better than IAH where I flew too! They accepted my temp ID Drivers License and birth certificate.
Marko
Checking in for an international flight, everything was quick and smooth. 🙂Upon returning from our trip the experience was different. Had to wait at customs in a line of well over 1000 people to get thru. About an 1hr and 10 minutes. 😥 …
Anastasiia Iun
I did like how the airport has a courtesy phone. I think it's really really nice.
Otherwise, I think it could be a better place if they invested in plants, more decorations, better food options, and more shops.
I haven't been to that many airports in the world and I know that there are amazing ones out there. Really want to visit them.
So far the best airport I've been to was Inchoen airport that had free historic performances, amazing duty free with so many food and shop options. The garden was pretty and the whole place gave me warm and positive emotions unlike O'Hare international Airport with gray walls and cold atmosphere. It's wasn't cheerful there.
I'm not sure how employees feel about working there. I think that everyone wants to spend a good life and get as many positive and warm emotions everyday.
Also I think it'd be great to have real grass or vegetation on the airplane section instead of fake grass.
J BK
Huge airport. I could get lost easily.
It was heavy traffic to get to the airport. I couldn't have enough time to look around:(
Michael Wolsiefer
O'hare is chaotic, but it's a super busy airport. It's huge, so give yourself plenty of time to go through security and find your gate. I would recommend using online check in as that will cut down significantly on your timing. Traffic is terrible getting in and Google Maps isn't accurate if you are looking for specific places like the Hilton that's on site. Parking is also expensive ~$40 a day unless you are in economy. Valet is about $75. If you transfer here give yourself time between flight or you will be running, climbing and dodging.
Angela Smith
It's undoubtedly one of the easier airports to navigate. With each airline having their own TSA it makes the process smoother and quicker.
Vaidehi Phase
Be ready for a long walk. Crowded and have different vibes here. There are so many food joints.
Yashwant Chowdhary
Downgrading ...almost no place to charge a phone or laptop. In modern times, expect travellers to rate an Airport average with no charging facility....even though all rows have outlets but they don't have power!
Momster siko
1st international trip to Mexico 🇲🇽 after the pandemic, so let's do it and do it right! Aside from passport 🛂 not being able to be scanned, everything else was smooth sailing and breezed through TSA Pre check. ❤️
Looking forward to the renovations and new O'Hare!
Mitul Gandhi
United terminal is great.. Lots of places to charge laptops and phones. And tons of food options. Don't let the long lines get you down... Reality of travel
Heather Miley
Very busy! Alot of choices for food and drinks. Good communication for flights being delayed or changed. Pretty clean, restrooms could be cleaner but also could be worse
James Yates
It wasn't bad but not good either. Kind of confusing when you first come off the plane to find the baggage claim. The airport is very zig-zaggy. I won't mention the security flaw I found there when I first arrived. But I guess that's how they do it in Chicago. Best advice is to look and try your best to follow the signs. Otherwise it will be confusing. And make sure you have your bording pass handy for the baggage claim area. Also seemed to me there was only one baggage claim for all the flights coming in. Which makes it way over packed in that small area just to grab your bags and fight thru all other flights trying to get there bags too.
Marjorie Gaughan
Efficient in every area. Even when our bags needed an extra check in security. We and our belongings were treated with respect. Kind people willing g to help you.
Jake Powell
Got through the gauntlet pretty smoothly. Holiday decorations looked nice. Everything was on time.
Nancy M
Very busy but definitely nice. Come early, global pass is highly useful.
Deborah Pagel
All is Swell Going United Airlines Terminal One! Go United!
Outstanding views flying to DCA from ORD UNITED!
Jane Edgar
Huge airports are extremely complicated so it's impossible to write a sensible review beyond saying we didn't get lost, everything was clean and we made our connection flight. Also, everyone was polite
Kyle Hartmann
I have flown through here on stop overs over ten times, and I always enjoy it. The selection of restaurants and stores is phenomenal, and though they are quite pricey, it’s about average as far as airports are concerned. The airport is one of the busiest in the world, and it is quite large, so a layover longer than an hour is highly recommended. It’s a big airport, so you are unlikely to be bored here for longer periods of time as well. The weather in Chicagoland can be volatile, so be aware that flights may be cancelled and delayed for those issues. I personally never had issues with weather, but occasionally some mechanical issues with the regional jets and a 777 on one occasion.
Customs was an absolute breeze, but that was on a Tuesday evening towards the end of January. Workers are usually very friendly and willing to help, including for the various airlines here as well. Cheers.
Christopher David
My experience at ohare from 20 years ago was awful, however that seems to have changed very much, every person I talked to who worked there was polite and helpful, TSA was reasonably ok. Parking was easy and fair priced, my overall experience was quite good, I give O’hare a 9 out of ten.
Donald Jay Byers
United is always my first choice. I prefer a legacy airline. Am United million-mile flyer and lifetime member of United Club. Loyalty matters and counts when you meed it.
Theresa Ray
So far I've made three visits to and through this airport in just over two weeks. I've yet to get it figured out but feel ok about that because other than one older gentleman in the information booth in terminal 5 in front of TSA and between C and D no one else seems to know where they're going either. This little guy will chase you down to get you going in the right direction. ORD could use a few hundred more of him.
Rob van Temmen
Good airport, not to big.
The internally transport to terminals is a bit confusing.
They need to make a map of the airport to know where you are and how to find what you are looking for.
We looked a while for the lounge
Michael Blevins
Can't say I'm highly impressed with this airport. The service was.quick.and efficient but not friendly. We felt like an inconvenience to get our wheelchair child to the gate. Wouldn't come back if I had a choice.
Rose Hallenberg
Airport was OK. Unfortunately it took at least 15 minutes for Spirit to send out our luggage. Seats were so thin and uncomfortable I'm still achy. Good news is we landed safely.
Mike Reese
Flew to Cancun out of O'Hare. Overall good experience in the airport. Security was well organized and lines moved fairly quickly. I would use this airport again if I had to fly somewhere.
Virtue Enyinnaya
The ORD Airport is a well managed international airport with facilities that provide support to travellers' safety and ease of travel. The airport has several terminals and distinct directional signs that travellers can follow to get to where they are going. I don't know of the airport having trains to move passengers from one terminal to the other but there are international airport shuttle buses that any passenger can use without paying.
Baggage carts are not free at the O'Hare international airport. Carts are locked and can be accessed at the cost of $6 each. Passengers that are not inclined to pay for carts may be lucky to find one left outside of the terminal by exiting passengers.
Interestingly, passengers at the O'Hare international airport can login and use the airport's free internet.
Joshua Kaminski
An amazing, large, outdated, amenity rich airport! This airport is one of the largest I've been in. It has a few mall type areas, kids play area, travel booking services, barber shop, and everything in-between! The wings make it hard - if not tedious and long- to get from one part of the airport to another.
Still, super impressed with the offerings, although it feels quite outdated, there are so many options, whatever you need is there!
Rones Rezende
Amazing and big airport. Assistance Services in couple places inside. Some workers very attencious with needs people in general. Good place to visit and spend time waiting your flights.
Matt Kennedy
Long lines when arriving on an international flight, but they move fast and their border control officers are efficient.
Baggage handling is A+, decent concourse with plenty of seating, public water fountains and a selection of places to eat.
Frankey Cunningham
I flew with Delta Airlines from Huntsville, AL to Chicago, IL with a layover in Atlanta, GA on November 09, 2022 on business. On November 12th, my return flight was scheduled for 22:46 departure and were informed around 21:00 that the flight was delayed for one hour due to a pilot arriving late. Then around 22:00 we were informed that the flight was delayed for about 9 hours and we would depart at 08:00 on November 13th. Employees sent us to desk agents in the airport who providing us with assistance. The desk I went to was the International assistance desk I believe. I happened to get in line first so that was a plus. Agents Kimberly and Dexter were assisting us and they were phenomenal. They helped with all information and kept me calm at a time where I was worried. I was provided with a hotel voucher and chose to lodge at the AC Marriott Gateway. I shuttled to the domestic terminal, got on the sky train and shuttled to the hotel. I didn’t like having to put down an incidental card at the hotel which authorized $20 as this expense was not in my budget but I understood it. Overall I was pleased with the accommodations made for me and really appreciate how helpful every employee was as I was asking directional questions to various workers along the way. Some employees appeared off the clock and still helped me with a smile. I have only flown five times and this is the first time I have ever had a delay. Thank you so much Delta and Chicago O’Hara Airport.
Katie Jauncey
The airport itself was fine. The staff weren't very friendly. They had a great bar though, where I sat until my change over.
Kenneth Hines, Jr. (Professor Hines)
O’Hare is a fascinating airport, with some beautiful areas throughout. My travels through here have been pleasant and there’s quite a bit of places to venture into if you’re having to wait in the terminals for a while.
The airport is quite large and I feel it can be a bit confusing. I feel Chicago’s Midway has a much easier layout and especially for getting to the CTA Trains as I was it’s a much shorter journey (I flew in with Delta and it was quite the journey from my gate to the transit).
O’Hare certainly is the more unique airport of the two, with the beautiful art in the airport, but be sure to have good walking shoes because you can do a lot of that navigating this airport.
Again, it’s not a terrible airport, as I’ve been across many and wouldn’t consider this one to be one but aside from the long walks you may not have a bad experience flying through here. Just be careful, it’s a very busy airport so you might endure a lot of people here, but you can get lucky to where you don’t encounter that many. I certainly felt it wasn’t as bad as Atlanta, Georgia’s Hartsfield-Jackson, when it comes to people!
Sheila A
It's nice and big but our flight got delayed 2x.
Samuel Cox
Nice enough. A bit crowded and shops were often closed, but that's inevitable. I was flying from St. Louis to Chicago to Aspen on American and the downstairs gates in the G concourse (American Eagle regional terminal) are windowless and a bit drab, but otherwise nice concourses, topped with a beautiful Christmas display in the H/K hall from Home Alone. Oh--and spotlessly clean.
Raji Vivek
Always Ohare been my favorite Airport, we had go from Terminal 3 to 2. Easy to navigate. Plenty of food availability inside the airport is surely the best thing.
Masha Tupitsin
Huge airport and you have to get everywhere by foot. If you have a one hour overlay prepare to run. Apart from that, nice selection of food, nice bathrooms and waiting areas.
Eric Brooks
Very busy airport during the holidays which is to be expected, but the concourses are too narrow, and when it’s crowded it’s hard to navigate. There are not many options for quickly moving through the airport for tight connections, I am not sure if they have a secure side train, but while I was there I did not see any signs and had to run through 3 concourses to catch my flight.
Paul T
Big airport. Well organized terminals. Great place to walk for a little exercise while waiting one's flight. Cool displays to see. If a less busy location is desired to sit for a while, seek out second floor of the Rotunda or by the US Navy WW2 F4F-3 Wildcat display. Yet so many people, this place can appear in need of a good cleaning - I don't doubt it's a 24-7 job for a lot of people working the crew.
Reuben Henderson (Zerker)
Help desk was very helpful with the flight delay. I did get a nice picture out of it though.
Prashant Lamba
A busy airport. I was on one of the last flights landing in, and all of sudden, I saw that there was no place for me to grab a bite. Getting on to their Wi-Fi network can be a challenge, which also made it very difficult for me to book an Uber. I hope to come back here for some better experiences!
Jamie Wheatley
Our new favorite airport to fly into from Mexico compared to Denver, Houston, Dallas, and Phoenix. We got customs, immigration, and agriculture checkpoints were way faster.
Ashmath Ali
Good airport, was crowded, very few options for dinner, launch was full. Very convenient to navigate, many terminals, please ensure which terminal you departing to to avoid delay.
CJ Archer
Late night at the airport is the best, no one telling you to keep moving hardly anyone else there. I highly recommend midnight arrivals! 😉 …
Debbie Meyers
This airport is well appointed but it is spread out all over the place not a fun place to try to change planes nor is it an easy commute into town... super disappointed that American Airlines doesn't fly into Midway anymore.
Ken Humble
As airports go the experience is pretty good considering how busy things are here. Good food options at airport prices while you are waiting.
Jerome Farnan
The train from car rental to the terminals is easy and warm. Terminal 1 has quite a lot of space for walking and sitting at least on a Sunday afternoon when I traveled on United.
Mickey D
Landed in terminal 3. Walking through it to baggage claims reminded me of walking through street markets in Asia. Narrow hallways woth booths and vendors sticking into them. No chickens or hanging slabs of meat but when you land you'll see it.
The ride share (uber at least but the signs said all ride shares) pick up at terminal 2 or 5. Not great signage but people working were nice enough to keep pointing me in the direction. Just something you should know if you land in terminal 1 3 or 4.
Kevin LeBlanc
This airport literally caused me to grow an extra arm! Fortunately they sell 3-armed shirts at a reasonable price. I'm so happy I could just scream!
AHHHHHHHH!
AHHHHHHHH!
AHHHHHHHH!
Uday Deshmukh
Absolutely beautiful airport. Always busy. Restrooms are also neat & clean . Variety of food & drinks are available. Other shops are also available on Airport were yoy will get many items
Always crowded aorport.
O. C.
Long!! Very long! Be ready to walk and be on the TSA line for awhile. It does move fast but it is long. They are doing some renovations so hopefully it will look nicer.
Ankur Chaudhary
ORD is among the best connected US airport domestically and internationally. It has train connectivity, bus connectivity, rental car and app based taxis.
For T1, T2 and T3 the Uber picks only from T2 but you can come out of T3 and walk few hundred meters to you left or come out of T1 and walk few hundred meters to your right and you will find Uber pick-up zone. Note that Uber pick-ups are only on arrival floor so don't go down.
Ted Tang
still chaos but organized. we went to terminal 5 international but parking in lot d was sparse. parked in hourly near terminal 2 and managed to catch tram to 5.
