A Dyer

Variety of things to look at and decide to purchase. They have groceries a assortment of things for your home. They also have cleaning supplies and baby item. They carry different tools and gadgets for your automobile.

Its an OK store. Its clean and organized. But multiple times I have been accused of being a shoplifter the moment I walk in the door. 2 years ago I was accused of stealing baby formula And an employee wanted to check my double stroller when they saw I had a half empty can of similac formula in the bottom basket on my double stroller. The store doesn't sell baby formula. Recent trip I was demanded I leave my tiny purse at the counter. Was followed thru the store One employee was very rude and acted like she didn't want me in the store. But yet anyone else walking in was treated nice. I felt like it was an act of discrimination. The entire time I was at the counter with my stuff being scanned, I was presented with eye rolls and Rude behavior when I asked a question. I bought cold medicine but the employee didn't ask for ID. Also acted mad when I said I wanted my receipt. Employee was ready to crumple it and toss it in the trash.

It's my favorite Family Dollar to shop at. They give great customer service and are Special Needs friendly. Those are hard finds these days. Kudos to the Store Manager and her crew. Retail is a tough job.

Friendly and helpful managers and cashiers every time I go there to shop. When someone walks in their door, they are always ready with a heartfelt greeting and welcome.

Great customer service. I was in the store for picture frames and Casey was the worker nearby and I asked her if there were anymore of these picture frames (i needed 6 more frames to total of 10 frames). She helped me look but then I sat the frames down and began to ship for other small items. She came to the front not knowing I was still in the store and asked if the girl with the frames checked out. I heard her say that so I said I'm still here and she had went out of her way to find me the other frames that were hidden in a sealed box. She opened the box and checked all pieces to make sure there was no broken glass and checked me out. She gets five stars in my book and I will always remember her. Thank you Casey!!!

Just what you'd expect. As with other places in Charleston becoming a chore entering or exiting place. You have to walk by the bums or homeless making you not want to shop in this city.
