Reviews of Lake Champlain Ferries Main Offices
Easy way to cut down on your traveling around Lake Champlain; Beautiful scenery.
Very affordable and a wonderful voyage across to Port Kent, New York. My only complaint is that I was expecting the staff were going to serve some food or drinks on the ferry but I maybe I misunderstood the website. They did not. Overall, Beautiful scenery and a positive experience. Thank you
GPS took us to an unexpected ferry ride, turned out to be nicer than I expected. 45 minutes total waiting for the ferry and the loading and unloading. Nice break from driving.
My first trip on a ferry.... I loved it. So relaxing, beautiful views! The wait was not long.
The boat is The Adirondacks, a beautiful 106 year old ferry (1913) in perfect shape. A wonderful ride and I especially loved the crew.
I can't say enough good about them. I lost my keys. They looked all over for me. The service there is fantastic. I really appreciate it.
Great for visitors - a 1 hour ride. Charlotte & Grand Isle shorter & more practical locally. All great!
This was the kids first ferry experience and it was a great one. The scenery is fantastic. Takes about 40 minutes to cross. Everything appears to be safe. Small snack bar and gift shop below the car deck. Hold onto your kids because there are plenty of places and ways for them to wander off the ferry into the lake.
We are so fortunate to have Lake Champlain Ferries Company. In addition to being the nicest possible way to get across the lake, everyone in their King Street Dock offices was pleasant and very helpful during my recent visit there.
Taking the N.Y. - Burlington ferry is a must do in my book. It's a great way to see the lake while travelling to a different location. Seeing from the water gives you a different perspective. After you park your car you can go upstairs and sit inside or wander around the deck. Great views of the high peaks.
Had a great sunset cruise. Only issue we had was people grabbing inside seats and bringing them outside and putting them by railings. Blocking everyone else's view. No body from ship said anything. I felt that was very rude
A must visit for any tourist who is visiting Burlington and take the ferry on lake Champlain
Early ride nice views
Leisurely ride across Lake Champlain - nothing stellar, but no complaints. Easy on, easy off. Smooth ride. Saves a half an hour driving around the top or bottom of the lake.
Motorcycle vacation with riding buddies to Mt.Washington and the" Kanc" highway ..stayed over in Stow,Vt.....rode the ferry back across the lake..very well managed and a great ferry ride!!!
Delivered some big reels of wire there, the Ferry Service is always good from past experience!
Great ferry. Wonderful restaurant at the dock. Walk up to the Town. It's great.
Totally worth the trip out. We had lunch, we learned a lot of interesting facts about the history of Burlington and lake Champlain, and then we got a drink.
Nice view of the sun set between 8pm to 9pm you can catch ferry where you can dine on also nice ice cream store
Always enjoy a ride on the ferry. Makes trips quicker to and from VT.
Always love the Ferry to Ny but dang price went up a lot $38 car one way Still a comfortable journey
Nice crew, big boat, a lot of history. Only two downsides were the lack of seating at the ends, and the price of the food.
Fairies normally get me seasick and freaked me out. This one wasn't that bad of a ride, it was a nice enjoyable ride!
For outing and experience were fine and the view from the ferry was nice
Reliable ferry to Port Kent. $8 to cross the lake for a passenger.
Love the view. Nice big boats. Kids love the ride
Kind of expensive but quick and fun
Great little ferry ride on the lake, very inexpensive for a day on the lake,
Ferry was on time. Not packed. Beautiful scenery.
Great experience to ride the ferry!
A beautiful boat ride around an hour across
Bypassed lots of traffic and tiny roads. Everyone should take this at least once.
Great people, let me tell ya..
