Really cool and unusual stop. We gave it a try and it actually works! In addition to looking like a baby Stonehenge it actually will give you the time of day when you stand in the right spot.Is great stop over when visiting lake.

This place was a random stop of our bike tour on the Burlington Greenway. The mystery of rocks sticking from the ground drew our attention. We soon found, by a placard tucked away from view that the rocks were part of a sundial installation! “How cool!,” I exclaimed. It even came with “instructions on how to use it.” I most definitely would like to return to fully understand the complexities of our solar cycles 🌎🌍🌏🙏

Loved the Earth Clock! It was right on with the time, even on this cloudy day. It felt like a magical place, sort of like Stonehenge Junior! Really interesting!

The clock itself is cool. It's a fancy sundial. Spectacular view! And it's on the Burlington Bike Path which is five stars.

Gorgeous place. The scenery is breathtaking. Good for a walk, jog, bike or just kill time. The road ends at a community gate. Park before the gate, do not enter. Then take the trail going to the left.

Neat little spot overlooking the beach and beautiful Lake Champlain. The bike path leading to and from Burlington is behind the sun dial at around 5 o'clock and goes around in front of the dial.
Vernon Michael Hutchings
Very cool. And it works too. Traveling south from downtown, it's placed on the left at a bend on the Burlington bike path just before a couple of nice benches for viewing the lake.
Chris Webb
Peaceful spot with nice views.

A little hard to find on Google maps. Follow the bike trail and you'll be fine. 🙂 …

I was biking for the sake of exploring some time back, and a thunderstorm was making it's way from New York east over the lake. Finding this location and watching with unobstructed view to thee rolling lightning strikes was the coolest darn thing I've experienced in a long time.
The clock itself is really cool having gone back the following day. Definitely something to check out when traversing the bike path!

A Burlington city park, this is a beautiful spot for a picnic, to meditate, or swim in the warmer months. A standing circle of megalithic VT-quarried stone blocks, this space holds marvelous energy. Stand in the power spot and get into receptive mode to receive healing! If it is a Solstice or Equinox, or nearby weekend, don't be surprised to see a group of folks w drums and music makers, wands and Crystals celebrating the season!
It's right on the Burlington bike path, a few steps North of Oakledge Park. Access by Flynn Avenue. Keep an eye out for fairies!. And for you Dowsers, the power spot is just near the number four, p.m. side (east).

There are some nice picnic benches nearby and a nice beach. The earth clock itself attracts some really interesting characters... who you either enjoy or don't enjoy.

Such a unique feature. We really weren't sure where to park though but the walk to it wasn't that far.. the view of the water was also beautiful!
Paul Schmidt
Large scale sundials are always fun. If you have really young kids I can vouch they'll love playing hide-n-seek there as well.

Loved it! Stopped when it's near freezing so we ran to the earth clock but it's beautiful, scenic and can't wait to revisit once the weather was up!
