A spring broke on my garage door and I called Overhead. 4 hours later Travis had the door fixed. Simply amazing! The door was originally installed by Action Garage Door. I called them first but they have no record of me as a customer. I called them on a Wednesday but they couldn't get to me until the following Monday; that is unless I paid a $180 emergency fee for them to come during normal business hours later the same day. No "emergency" fee from Overhead and the door runs more smoothly and quietly than it ever has!

Just this morning my 17 year old door would not open and I started the process of research as I was certain my controller was to blame given its age and economy. I called Overhead Door first and spoke with Lexi. She talked me through my needs and offered a service call that would be open-ended enough to either fix or replace my old lift. Two days out was the appointment time available- no problem and quicker than I expected. A couple hours later I received a call that a tech in the area could drop by as he gained time during his previous job. John came over just 4 hours after my initial call, quickly spotted the spring problem then jumped right in and fixed it. His service is outstanding! He was absolutely professional and respectful from his first minute in my driveway to the moment he left. I would recommend him to anyone and Lexi is very knowledgeable, patient and thorough. I spoke with two other awesome folks on the team as well with the terrific call backs. Lexi and John reminded me what great service feels like.

As I was attempting to leave for work, the garage door spring snapped making it impossible for me to open the garage door. I had contacted one company who said they could not come until the following week unless I wanted to pay for emergency service (it was about 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday), which would have been $180 per hour just for them to come look at my broken spring and then they would have to go make the new spring and install it in a few weeks. I called Overhead Door and they had a very professional and friendly representative out to my home by 10:00 a.m. the same day and he was able to replace both springs and even repair a few garage door panel brackets that snapped when the spring broke. He was done by about 11:00 a.m. Service doesn't get much better than that and the price was great too.

Timely and affordable with incredibly competent technicians...Kevin, for example, is kindly fellow who has been with Overhead for 15 years. He had the gear problem diagnosed and a new gear kit installed in minutes. Lot of moving parts in these doors and he checked/serviced all of them before he left. My experiences with Overhead have never been less than pleasant over the decades, and I consider them to be extraordinarily trustworthy. In the office, Jeanene, Lisa and Gary provide excellent customer service. This is a very solid company.

Had Travis out yesterday to replace the torsion springs on my garage since one broke this week. The pricing was very reasonable and the company was very easy to work with from start to finish. Both the receptionist I spoke to on the phone were very kind and got me scheduled for the next day in no time at all. When the appointment window arrived, late afternoon, I received a call from the technician himself and he was very prompt at getting to my home. The work only took about 30-45 minutes and was very clean and presentable at finish. I was given a very clear invoice that matched all of the pricing I was quoted on the phone. I would definitely recommend Overhead Door to anyone needing any type of garage door service.

My distress call to Overhead Door to address a broken tension spring was answered promptly, courteously and professionally.. the tech arrived when he was scheduled (and called ahead to confirm his arrival). After inspecting the damage He informed me, before starting the work what the cost would be. I agreed. He was professional, talented with his tools, and skilled at his craft. He had all the parts that was required to complete the job in his trUck. The job was done (the broken tension spring replaced) in less than an hour. In my humble opinion the charge ,for the amount of work was a tad too high. The tech also provided me his professional opinion on the status of my garage door equipment and explained the technology on the newer gadgets now available on the market. The company gets 5/5 for professionalism but My rating is 4 out of 5 stars because I see the need for better pricing.

Just WOW! Overhead Door put our door in a few years ago at our shop and they have been great on the backend. Had an issue on a Friday night and a tech came out and got the door down for us so our tools were safe for the weekend. Just had another issue today(operator error) and got the door fixed ourselves but the limits were off. Pat sent me an installation manual via email and I was able to reset the limits, and get back to work. Thank you Overhead Door for all you great work and helpful service!!

We had a carriage piece sheer off of an older liftmaster opener. John was quickly dispatched same day and quickly identified the issue and offered up some options, the cheapest being a simple repair. After talking with John a little bit, we decided to upgrade to an OHD Everywhere opener. Although we didn't get it installed until the following day, the service was impeccable. I would recommend Overhead Door Company to anyone, and specifically give a shout out to John, our service technician. Great work!

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! A spring on my garage door broke Friday night. I called Saturday to schedule for a service call expecting to be a week or more out. Pat was very helpful and spot on with a quote on the expected repair costs. Then to my surprise scheduled the service call for that upcoming Monday afternoon. Kevin and John called 15 min prior to arriving at my house so that I could meet them there. They were fast and knowledgeable with their work. They replaced the springs, found and replaced a bad roller guide, attached an additional support and replaced the worn weather strip at the bottom of the door. They finished quickly and there were no surprises on the final bill. Overhead door has a great team! Thank you again!

The technician (Ray) called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived and saw how the garage door opener had broken off from the garage door itself and said he could actually fix that if I'd rather do that than replace the entire opener. We decided to go ahead and replace the opener since it was about 17 years old and would prefer a more quieter one. Lisa who scheduled our appointment was very courteous and answered all of our questions and was able to schedule us within 2 days. I would use this company again and recommend them for fixing your garage door opener and/or replacing it.

Just had my weak garage door springs replaced and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Kyle was a great communicator and didn't try to push anything I didn't need. He explained the situation well and gave me the options. Ultimately I choose to have the weak (too small) springs replaced and I'm glad I did. The price was totally reasonable and he even gave me some great tips on adjusting my wall mount opener. I will not hesitate to call Overhead door again and I hope they send Kyle. He was great!

These folks are amazing. Gary came over right away and got the door working ok in the interim while he searched for a price to fix it. We were amazed and appreciative of the customer service. Then Gary gave us an amazing quote to fix it. The man who came by to fix the door was extremely professional, well educated in the systems of the door and provided excellent service. I had only noticed the top strut was broken, until he showed me that another strut was broken, and demonstrated how the garage door was buckling when opening and closing because of it. Bryan offered to fix my garage door, even after I told him that I realized they were not the company that installed it. He was extremely friendly and completed a thorough inspection to determine the cause of the loud noise. Then, he meticulously lubricated everything and fixed the tension on the spring. He went above and beyond when I asked him what I needed to do, to minimize the risk of having someone break-in through my garage. He took care of it for me. ervice rep was on time and had thorough knowledge of the products. He cleaned and lubricated the chain, disassembled a big spring assembly at the front of the door, cleaned and replaced it. Changed battery in exterior keypad. Afterward the door was very jerky when attempting to open. Just sounded like it was slack and attempting to overcome that when the chain parts were getting set to pull on the door. After forgetting to call for about a month, I finally called about the problem and they sent a technician out right away. The connecting pieces between the chain pull assembly and the parts on the door where it pulls were upside down (if I'm remembering correctly, that was last year but I did want to put in a report). Once the parts were replaced correctly the door and opener and worked perfectly for the past year. I wil most definitely use Overhead Garage Doors again as I have in the past. Ray came to replace our very old keypad and fix the inside lights that were not turning on when the door was opened. He fixed or replaced everything that wasn't working and then proceeded to tighten all the screws on the inside of the door as well as adjust the tension. Now the door doesn't hit the concrete floor with a loud thud. We are more than pleased with the service he provided. It feels like we have a brand new door!! Thank you for your terrific service.

Overhead is the BEST!!! I needed to secure my house after a friend crashed thru my garage door. They were at my house about 2 hours after I called them for help. Our Legacy model is over 15 years old ......we had trouble with the door bouncing up when it hit the cement floor, when the door should have stayed closed. I made a call to SouthWest and Jeannine was able to talk me through to close the door. Pat came out the next day and corrected the problem with such speed and professional service. When i called about getting garage door remote young girle very nice and helpfull said just take a few pics of #s on opener and bring in,so brought in pics and a older woman helped me she didnt want to look at pics,was very combative,you could tell i was a bother to her,she rushed through program instructions,i wasnt sure if i had correct remote or not,got home wouldnt program so i called and hoping I would get someone else other than her but I didn't I got her she went through it again quickly and angrily but I finally got remote to work but I definitely won't use overhead door again. She shouldn't be working with the public, not everybody understands automatically how to program a remote control for a garage.
