The people were pretty nice and despite it being crowded, I was still able to move around to where I wanted to go. I went there for a college scholarship thing that was set up there and there were a lot of new faces. It wasn't too bad and was kept very clean!

The place was certainly interesting. The expo room looked updated. But the restrooms looked so old and some lights didn't work so the stalls were dark. The parking deck was weird and the credit card pay machine was very strange. The credit card slot was too high to reach from a car

I didn't visit here,I only walked by headed to another destination. I will say that since a child I was always amazed at the scenery this place exhibits. I've always believed that if an event is being held here then it's something you should or should've discovered and considered.

Went to Miles College Graduation. I loved the convenient of the parking deck, right next to it. Directional Arrows need to be in place. The Auditorium was big, small dated seating. You can't Stretch your legs. You could see and hear the speakers, but sound system needs to be updated. They had to open up the doors for air flow. A/C needs to be updated. Security was very hospitable.

I have been here for several events from concerts to conferences, parties And worship services. The place is cold and dreary. The seating is uncomfortable and too close together. The bathrooms are never clean and subpar. Won’t attend anymore events here.

Older but we'll maintained and clean building After race party event for Mercedes-Benz marathon set up here had excellent attendance. Food servered by local BBQ restaraunt was great. Cole slaw was perfect. Local craft beer served. Entertained by a local band. Plenty of tables, chairs set up for the crowd.

Great place for smaller events. It is Birmingham's oldest arena for larger indoor crowds. The place has been renovated in the past few years. Many famous people have performed here. For many years it was Birmingham's only auditorium.

Old but well kept by the people who work there. This place could easily fall in disrepair without the attention they give. Boutwell has an incredible history of famous people from the past who have performed here.

Well the historic bought well it's nice it does need some work but the concert was great the staff was friendly the ushers were off the chain the bathrooms are very clean I don't eat the food but it looks very inviting

I am currently working with the boutwell auditorium on an upcoming production. I am new at this. The staff has been great at walking me through getting this right. They have open their doors at every request. It is a great place to hold an event.

We went to see Toni Braxton and SWV in concert. They all were wonderful, it was like a dream come true, especially for my niece and daughters!!! We were jamming back in the 90s!!! Brought back so many memories!! I love you Toni and SWV!! Toni Braxton came out on the floor, hugging and taking pictures with ppl and even had them to come on stage at the end to sing and electric slide. Man, I wished I had seats on the floor!! It was a wonderful experience!!

I had my wedding in the Auditorium in July 2014, it was spectacular!! I was so wonderful to have my wedding venue at the HISTORIC BOUTWELL AUDITORIUM in Downtown, Birmingham, right across from Lynn Park. Absolutely breath-taking!!! Also, Mr. Arrington was extremely helpful. One suggestion would be to update the people in the front office so they can be more youthful. Mr. Arrington worked with me on everything and tried his best to make me a very happy bride!! I would do it all over again! Thank you so much, Mr. Arrington & Staff!!!

Easy access if you use the parking deck. They need staff in the parking deck after big events, otherwise it takes about an hour to exit.

The seats here are very uncomfortable. They don't take debt cards so make sure you use the ATM or bring cash with you before you try to buy anything here .
