I’m so glad my husband found this place. From the very moment we stepped through the doors everyone was very friendly. The tour itself was great. The guides Dusty and Drew were hilarious. They’re a great duo and Tony was an awesome driver. We got to learn about the city while laughing our butts off. I recommend for anyone who wants a good time with someone else driving. We did the 90 minute tour and got to stop at Green Man Brewery which was nice.

BOOK IT!! Haunted tour was absolutely hilarious and I want to take every single person I know on it. While it isn’t scary at all, it’s informative, comedic and unique! I still can’t quote figure out how our ghost ran all around the town to meet us at different locations but that’s part of the fun! I won’t ruin the experience by going into detail, you should just book the tickets. Some tips, make sure to arrive early so you can pick a seat! They go based on when you get there and check in. While you can’t BYOB anymore you can buy beer/wine/drinks and they give you a tiny cooler to take them unopened onto the bus. Once on the bus you can then open and enjoy on the ride! Truly fantastic people and such a great experience!

This was the most side spiting, funny, make you want to cry and pee in your pants from laughing so hard comedy tour. I thought my wife and I would have some laughs, but laughed so much it hurt. From the workers inside, to the bus driver, to the tour guide to the extra characters that we encountered it was top notch from check in until we got off of the bus. You will find some very nice nuggets of history mixed in with laughs. I highly recommend this to anyone, young and old alike. We will becoming back for sure on our next trip into town.

Absolutely great! We did the one hour Ghost Tour. Dottie was our tour guide. She was non stop talk. And Carin was her accomplice. Together they were humorous and interacted with the guests. Carin would get off and on the route dressed as different characters. Their dialog went hand in hand with the outfits and storyline.

The most fun we've had in a long time. We did the daytime tour of Asheville with these two guys and it was hilarious. get your tickets online ahead of time and show up early. You can buy drinks at the location you can drink on the bus which made it even better.

The evening ghost tour was so much fun. I would post more photos but don't want to spoil the surprises. The hosts are all so funny and nice. This is a definite highlight of my visit to Asheville and I strongly recommend this if you want to have a good laugh. I'm a massive fan of doing evening ghost tours when I travel and this one is memorable for all the right reasons.

We did the 3 hour beer bus tour today and it was absolutely fantastic! We all had a blast ! Andrew was the host and did an amazing job keeping us all informed and entertained. The bus driver Donna was super chill and did a great job navigating us through town .Our band for the tour was UniHorn which was hands down the best !!The experience exceeds our expectations and we would highly recommend to anyone!

I had a time of my life!!!!!!! Seriously ! It was a blast! I haven’t laughed that hard for a long time. Not only awesome and funny comedy, the bus does takes you around and you see some cool places of Asheville. It is absolutely a must!

Great tours! First, we did the Comedy tour, it was so enjoyable we came back to the Ghost tour. Both tours were a blast. The energetic staff combined local history, with lots of funny and animated sketch comedy. The guide was personable, hilarious, knowledgeable, bursting with energy. It’s a rolling, interactive, comedy club theater on a bus!

Did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. We did the Comedy bus tour of Asheville. It was super fun. The price of admission was a bit steep, so be ready for it... $35+ per person. I would prefer a lower per person charge and I would gladly tip more; the talent should get the money. OR For the steep price, 1 alcoholic drink per adult should be included. Overall it was good and I do recommend it, however I might not be a repeat customer for other tours due to the price tag.

Best thing to do in Asheville! I took my sister on the ghost comedy tour for her birthday and we had a blast. It was so funny and we loved the characters along the way. Our guide Belzebus was such a great character. Definitely want to check out their other tours.

We did the Fender Bender (beer & band) tour. 10/10 would do it every time we come to Asheville. We had a BLAST with our host Matthew (he's asesome!) And the 3/4 Strange Band (super fun band) We stopped at 3 breweries and was an overall fun time!

My wife and I went on the Asheville comedy tour with another couple on a Sunday at 4 pm in November. We had heard great things about the comedy tour but also some kind of mediocre reviews. So checking it for ourselves all 4 of us are definitely in the great things category! Maybe it depends on your tour guide/comedian, if so, we lucked out! I wish I could remember the name of our guide/comedian. She made the whole tour!!! She actually gave a tour with historical info AND made the tour laugh out loud funny. She was really amazing, I’m not sure why she’s not doing stand up in Vegas, she was that good. Alcohol was available at the start of the tour and our group bought a bottle of wine for the tour. We could have used another but next time we’ll know. We will definitely be bringing other friends and visitors on this tour!! And if I could remember the guide we had I’d make sure to get here again. Maybe someone will recognize her from a photo. It’s definitely a 5 star experience!!

This is an absolute must do when visiting Asheville. We did the comedy tour with our host Cookie who made us cry from laughing so hard. It’s a great way to see some landmarks in the city and genuinely have a blast. Would definitely do it again next time we are in town!

To be honest, I had kind of written off LaZoom as something that was just for tourists. Last night I did the Haunted Comedy Tour for a friend’s birthday, and was very impressed. The actors did an incredible job and I was laughing the entire time. Definitely something worth checking out at least once even if you’re a local.

We had such an enjoyable time on this tour. The hosts were amazing from the entrance to getting us off the bus. The tour takes you all over Ashville seeing great areas. The jokes along the way and the actors were so fun and funny!! Highly recommend this tour!!!

I went on the LaZoom brewery tour with a group of gals for my friend’s bachelorette party and it was an absolute blast! I went into the situation somewhat apprehensive because I am 12 years sober. I thought to myself “how could I possibly have fun on a brewery tour?” but I wanted to make the most of it for my friend. The live music on the bus was AMAZING! The tour guide was great and we were informed that every brewery had food trucks outside so I was able to snack along the way. Also, every brewery we went to had a least 3 non-alcoholic options. I’m actually looking forward to booking this tour again when I visit Asheville with my husband. If you’re on the fence, just book it! It was such a great time. 10/10

We attended the ‘Lil Boogers’ tour for a kids birthday party. It was a lot of fun! The kids especially found the humor laugh-out-loud funny (although there were many jokes for the adults too). The hosts clearly seemed to enjoy what they do and gave it their all and their enthusiasm was infectious. I applaud their performance and strongly recommend this tour!

The city comedy tour was a very fun way to see the city, especially if you are new and don't know your way around. Our tour guide, "Buster," was very energetic, hilarious, and friendly. He was also good at improv and made even minor traffic inconveniences an opportunity for great comedy. Some of the scripted jokes and characters were very cheesy, but that just added to the whole great experience in an ironic sort of way. I highly recommend it!

One word,...AWESOME!!!! My kids and I had a ball. The kids comedy tour bus was so much fun. My kids are older (12 and 14) so i thought they were going to be like, this is for babies but ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! They were loving it. It's definitely for all ages. I would definitely do it again

Cookie and Kelly have a great routine. The mixture of comedy and history made the 90min tour go by too quickly. Including the audience added to the fun. You can't bring drinks on the bus but you can buy beer (good local selection) at a reasonable price and drink them on the bus. It's a great value and exposes you to areas in Asheville you wouldn't normally know about.

Really great value. Funny, educational, and very good energy. The bus isn't well-insulated so keep that in mind if going in the winter. When we went it was 7 degrees out, and the staff still maintained an optimistic and professional demeanor, giving it their all. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an entertaining night!

We took the one-hour ghost tour on a Friday evening in January. The staff was all super nice. You can purchase unopened drinks to take on the bus with you, so one star just for that. When you come in, you get a rubber chicken as your ticket placeholder. This should really tell you all you need to know about the LaZoom operation. There were definitely funny parts of the ride, but it was 90% schtick and 10% history. If you are looking for any actual history or information, this is not the tour for you. At over $30 a ticket, I was disappointed. An hour is about all I could take of the over-the-top costumed comedy, and was too much for one couple, who got off about 40 minutes into the tour. Don't think I would do this again. 2.5 stars for lovely staff and drinking on the bus.

This was a blast!! Great way to see asheville while laughing your behind off!! The crew working there was so fun and I love that this is a family run business... What a fun time! Cookie Carter and her counterpart were hysterical and really made the tour so much fun!!! The price cant be beat, you can buy beer to take on the tour, and you get to stop and check out a brewery along the way. Thanks for a great time!!! We would do it again in heartbeat!

We took this Asheville comedy upon a recommendation from an A-Vegas resident. I’m am so glad we took their advice. We thought our group of four might be the only four on the bus given it was a Monday 2pm tour, but the bus had about 20 folks. The experience absolutely exceeded our expectations. Funny, interactive, educational - and alcohol available if it interests you. If you are not sure, have no doubt and book it now! I’m so glad we did!

Did the tour of Asheville and loved it. Was expecting it to be either surprisingly funny or really corny, and it was about 90/10. The perfect length, they sell beer you can take on board, and they did just the right amount of crowd involvement. Well worth the price and time.

The Comedy Ghost Tour was such a fun(ny) experience- I didn't know what to expect and this exceeded all possible expectations. While there were some elements of "spooky", the show is heavily comedy-focused. Be prepared for jokes of all kinds- raunchy jokes included. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff!

This tour was awesome. Amazing humor that anyone can have fun with and get, but has so much deeper layers and creativity built in that I have to give extra credit. Can appeal to any audience as the entertainers are truly fluid enough to read their audience. This was the most authentic experience I had in Asheville. The only thing I reccomend more is the forest itself.

My fiancé and I did the "band and beer" tour and had an absolute blast! The band was interactive and so much fun...they played a lot of classic hits that we sang along to. The bus stopped at three well known breweries (30 minutes at each brewery). My only recommendation would be to increase the brewery stop to ~45 minutes. Our tour was on a Friday night, so many of the breweries were crowded with lines...by the time we used the bathroom and got our beers, we felt a little rushed to drink our beers before having to return to the bus.

The three venues our bus driver took us to were all well worth the stops and places we’d like to go back to on our own. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Excellent tour around a very unfortunate (and not so unfortunate) series of events that took place in Asheville throughout the years. Igor was a great host and Scott was a fantastic warm up to the main act! Myra (Myrna? - sorry!) was great as well and possibly made the entire show. Either way, good times were had by all and history was laughed to life once again.

We went as a team building, the tour was full of history. We are a bunch of nerds so we loved that, but also super funny. Better than 90% of Netflix comedy specials. 99% better if you take out the proven comedians. Honestly the best thing in Ashville.

This is a must do in Asheville! Really enjoyable and entertaining. We were also traveling with an older family member who requires a walker and doesn't do steps well. While this is not an accessible activity the workers were very kind, extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we got her safely on and off the bus.

I was pleasantly surprised by LaZoom - a friend found it and a group of us went on a trip to Asheville. After walking around and exploring breweries in one part of town all day, this was a great chance to sit back and drive around the area. The staff was really cool and super funny, they gave us recommendations for some dive bars to hit afterward. I've told everyone I know visiting Asheville to look into this!

When my boyfriend and I planned to visit Asheville for the first time for a concert, I decided to look at recommended activities in the area. That's when I found Lazoom. I got us tickets because I thought it would be fun to see the city, learn some history, and maybe hear some corny jokes. Well, we were in for a huge surprise. The tour was actually HILARIOUS. Didn't expect it to be so edgy. The only thing I didn't like were the 2 beers we picked at the Green Man Brewery stop... Tart Berry and Demon Dweller: chocolate-covered gingerbread cookie. We couldn't finish them. Definitely buy something else if you're gonna drink.

This was the highlight of our trip to Asheville. Scott with 2 T's greeted us at the door and gave us our chicken ticket and helped us out with any questions we had. Parking was a little difficult but they apologized immediately and mentioned they don't own the parking lot. I fully understood how busy downtown would be on a Friday night so I went made sure to get there early to find a good spot. Bartenders were super friendly packing our bag with a frozen water bottle and some solid drinks of our choice. Prices on the beer was absolutely amazing and reasonable for this adventure. When our number got called to the tune of the song they played, hopped on. Everyone introduced themselves and we got rolling. Immediately the level of comedy was set and it was the most I've laughed in a long time. The creativity and confidence these guys had was out of this world. Their improv with things happening while the bus drove around the city left me falling out of my seat with laughter. They even did a special segment for my girlfriend's birthday! Overall, we had an amazing time. Learning some history while laughing at this amazing show performed by 3 people in one night. I still don't know how Scott (with 2 T's) did all of that running around. I had no idea it was him till the end of the tour! That shows how good of actors these guys and how much they truly love their job. This is now my number 1 reason to visit Asheville again.

I was told this was your run of the mill bus haunted comedy tour, but it was much more. Beezelbus and his pals made this an hilarious outing, no one was spared from Asheville's supposed notorious history. I'm still not sure how he knew all of the various folks throughout the tour. If you are looking for a fun evening, LaZoom is where you need to spend your time.

For a wildly entertaining 90-minute tour that best captures the wackiness of Asheville, hop aboard the purple bus. If you’re expecting to spend the whole time learning all sorts of historical facts, this ain’t for you. If, however, you want to overindulge yourself with laughs while hearing bits and pieces of fascinating local history, you’re taking the right bus. As a longtime resident of Asheville, I often take my visitors on LaZoom’s City Comedy Tour so they can experience a zany, but also real, taste of downtown (along with a local craft beer or two). It’s always been a sidesplitting time. Yesterday, my girlfriend and I brought our twenty-something guests onboard. Our guide, the Renaissance Man, (no one at LaZoom seems to know how to spell his name—Turbid or Turbert Burbage?) was absolutely hysterical. He kept calling our guests, who are newlyweds, “the teenagers” and poked lighthearted fun at them (along with Floridians on the bus) throughout the rib-tickling ride. They loved it and laughed the whole time. In fact, they were still laughing long after the tour. To quote the Renaissance Man, huzzah!

The first time I went was great . I just went again on my birthday and 2 of the guests should not have been allowed to drink anymore . They walked to the building drinking, were obviously very drunk already , brought a bag full of alcohol on the bus , kept spilling the alcohol all over the back beside us , arguing with each other so loud I couldn't enjoy the tour , and even FaceTimed someone and yelling at them as loud as they could so the person on the phone could hear . Unfortunately for the back few rows , our ride was not as enjoyable as everyone else's . It would be nice if they had been asked to at least lower their voices so we could enjoy the performance .

My friend and I were in town on business and found this tour. Best money we spent. We did the haunted comedy tour and had an utter blast. So much fun. The guide was hilarious along with the other character who hoped on and off the bus. You felt like you were transported outside of Asheville for a night too. Lots of fun and would do it again with other friend who come into town. Actually concord a friend of mine who was down there the next day to go on it and she told me she had an amazing time too!

I love Lazoom! This is my favorite experience to take visitors to Asheville on. It's done it over 10 times at this point, its always fun and never gets old! I typically do the City Comedy or Haunted Comedy tours, but their special seasonal tours are really great as well. I also booked their band bus as my wedding transportation and it was truly a highlight of the big day!! All of my guests commented on how fun and unique the experience was. We did this tour yesterday and had a blast! We were in Asheville celebrating my wife’s birthday and decided to try this tour. During the previous day we noticed the buses all over town. The tour has music, two amazing guides and some great history about the city. You can bring beer on the tour and food you buy at the business. The entire ride is hilarious and makes for some jaw hurting smiles. I’d give it more stars but I can’t, so book this tour and do it if you visit Asheville!

Booked tickets on a whim after seeing the bus around town. High quality act and fun experience - we did a daytime comedy tour with a stop at a brewery. Don't expect a traditional bus tour - do expect a lot of gags, characters and props. Highly recommend this activity to couples or a group of friends to enjoy together. Go a little early to enjoy their eclectic lounge built in a former gas station.

A must go tour if you are new to Asheville! Perfect for those who love comedy mixed in with a touch of history if you go on their standard tour and love the nostalgia of being in a repurposed school bus! Typically 90 mins long, I’d recommend getting some snacks and drinks before climbing aboard, but there is an intermission half way where you can stop at Green Man Brewery to buy more drinks, use restrooms, or just get up and stretch those legs! I went during the day, but the night tour looks pretty awesome! Check out their website for information on booking but act fast since time slots disappear fast!

Amazing experience, this tour gets an A+. The actors had amazing talent. Our tour guide sang, danced and played the electric guitar! He needs his own show! I was a little bummed that some of the people in the bus were side talking, it was very distracting. They also kept moving their legs up and down and it felt like they were playing with my butt. Hilarious! I only had one day to tool around Asheville. The Hey Asheville Comedy City Tour was the best investment I could have done. Not only was it one of the most uniquely silly comedy shows I've ever seen, I actually learned a lot about the history of the area. The bus had a great sound system, so I was always able to hear and understand the tour guide & various characters. It was a bargain IMHO: full-on comedy show + tour of various areas with factoids. The day I went was pleasant and sunny, so all the windows were open on the bus to inhale the fresh Asheville air, which was fun. Next time I visit Asheville, I'll probably do the tour again plus the ghost tour.

They do a good job of navigating the small town and pointing out places of interest. The interactions between the tour guide and co-guide who pops on and off the bus at various stops is entertaining. It is worth the price of admission if you are looking for something to do during your stay. They do allow drinking on the bus during the tour and some of it is adult-themed, so you might leave the kids at home for this tour.

Our family visited the Biltmore, wineries and breweries but the LaZoom tour was everyone's favorite. It was the perfect mix of comedy and history. The comedian and his sidekicks were interactive with the crowd and hilarious. Highly recommend this tour of Asheville.

These guys put on such a great tour! We take all of our out of state visitors here, and never disappoints! Excellent history while being hilarious, and suprising skits along the way! The tour guides have been very professional and quick on the improvisation. The comedy is great for all ages! The bus stops about halfway through at a local brewery and they have always been accommodating. If your in the area it's a must do!

The Haunted Comedy tour was absolutely fantastic. The tour guide, Papa Bones, was hilarious and entertaining to say the least. The stories were a great mix of true ghost tales mixed with humorous embellishment. It kept us truly entertained and the hour flew by quickly. We would highly recommend this tour. I am so impressed with the production of this tour! I took the holiday tour and I cannot wait to take a city tour when I come back. You can bring your own beer as long as it’s not open before going on the bus and it’s finished before going to the first brewery. The tour takes you see many places in Asheville, even outside of downtown. I was laughing the whole time! It’s informative and hilarious. I would recommend this for anyone first visit to Asheville or any locals who have not been. It’s funny!

If you don't like improv, this is not for you. If you enjoy slapstick, puns, gags, drag, swearing, low brow humor, live musical performances, and learning about Asheville, this is. When you check in, your ticket to ride the bus is a giant rubber chicken. The earlier you arrive, the lower the chicken number you'll get. The lower the number, the sooner you'll get on AND OFF the bus. This is critical for folks with nonexistent bladders like me. You can buy beer & wine inside, but wherever you open the container is where you finish (bus or inside). They give you a cute little insulated tote for any bus bevvies. Bring cash to tip the guide at the end. For the sake of the others on the bus having a good time, leave your kids at home. I did the haunted tour and am excited to try the others.

Wow. Just Wow. During my son’s visits over the years, we’d been everywhere from the top of mountains to the basement of the Biltmore. It was time to bite the bullet and board the Barney bus. My son, who habitually expresses mirth through a slightly upturned corner of his mouth, actually smiled and laughed out loud. Our tour guide was a southern belle version of a cat dropping acid on a roller coaster. She was witty, knowledgeable, fast on her feet (even when hanging upside down from the ceiling!) and great with the audience participation. Throughout her schpiel she had a twinkle in her eyes, which helped us to feel included in the jokes. We loved the bawdiness of the Russian Bee/Scottish Mountain/Beer Man/Sister Of The Unholy Alliance, and will never again look at pollination in quite the same way. More stars than 5. Tip the boot!

Great tour of Asheville. We got a basic layout of the area and it came in handy when we were walking around at midnight. The tour guide was awesome and the show was hilarious. I'm not a big beer guy but if you like to drink you'll enjoy the selection at 2 bar locations. I'd ride twice if it wasn't weird!

The LaZoom walking tour GHOSTED far exceeded our expectations. Starting by walking up to this old gas station decorated in a way that you can't miss. Music was bumpin. The bar was open and ready for drinks. Come early to enjoy the VIP lounge which was again decorated great. The walking tour was hilarious. I really enjoyed using the system they had in which you got to use headphones so you could hear the whole time. We laughed and danced, and laughed some more. It was a great way to see the city, learn some fun facts, and have a blast. Would highly recommend!!

My husband and I went on the Ghosted Walking Tour and had a blast! From the time we walked in to the LaZoom room we felt so welcomed - the bartender was super nice and hilarious, as was everyone else we encountered. I felt comfortable having a drink because the room was well spaced out and they had the large window open. And the drink (mulled wine) was delicious! The tour itself was very fun - Bloodenia and the guest host were so funny and kind, we all wore masks, and it was fun to explore Asheville. All in all it was a very fun and safe experience - the first entertainment we've had since covid. Would definitely recommend!

So cat lovers will especially love this place. But the actual trip was better than I had initially expected before it began. Fantastic. I never had a experience like this. Price is reasonable. We did the haunted history tour at 730pm. I would suggest show up early and have a few drinks there. They have a bar. Cozy funky decor and relax have a good time. But dont forget to empty your bladder before you leave. You can take beer & wine with you on bus.

This review is long overdue! My first time was the band and beer tour a year ago and my husband and I ran late due to traffic. Well we get there anyway and one of the owners, Jim, offered to drive us to the first stop of the tour so that we could get on the bus! He definitely saved the day as I was celebrating my birthday that weekend! So now one year later I come back for the haunted tour with friends ( on time this time!). It was a good time and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. I just love how the staff always takes a few minutes to talk to everyone and make sure that they enjoyed themselves.

We had an older group of people so the jokes were more for adult ears so keep that in mind! We wished we tried all the tours before we left but couldn't make it all.

My wife and I visited Asheville this past weekend. Very interesting cultural event the weekend turned into with the drummers in on Friday evening downtown and the hemp festival on Saturday. So Saturday afternoon we decided to take the LaZoom Comedy tour. It was fantastic from beginning to end. The host and the supporting characters kept us laughing as well as providing some interesting history of the city. It was fun and very interactive, the host improv ability was spot on. At the halfway point we stopped at a local brew house for a nice beer. When it was over we were so happy with the show that we considered taking the Ghost tour later that evening. We didn't, but it is on the list for the next Asheville visit.

Originally came for the bus tour, but due to COVID we were not able to experience it. We still decided to see if they had any options and they did with the walking ghost stories tour. It was equipped with audio and a awesome tour guide named kelly who kept us laughing and informed through out the whole tour. We lounged around prior to the tour where we got an amazing customer service experience from the bartenders and some really good cider slushees. This is a definite recommendation if you are visiting the city of Asheville you will not be disappointed!

I took the city comedy tour Saturday August 10th with some girlfriends and we had a blast!!! We were lucky enough to have Barnaby Wild as our tour guide and Tommy as our driver, and we were laughing non stop! Between "sister Geraldine" and "Beer Man" on his souped up lazy boy and Barnaby's show there is never a dull moment on this tour! It was so much better than I thought it would be. I was born and raised in Asheville and I learned a lot about the city I've lived in for almost 30 years! I can't even put in to words how much fun this is. This tour is a must... weather you're a local or a tourist visiting our wonderful city I suggest you take a ride on the purple bus! I can't wait to try the other Lazoom tours! A staple of Asheville. Fun, friendly tour guides always ready for a good time and with an awesome attitude of pride for their town. They get the best local bands to play their band and beer tour, which stops at the best breweries in town. I'm not familiar with the other tours but I have no doubt they're great. Their 'outpost' where everyone meets is a fun and quirky New Orleans kinda themed bar in the heart of downtown and they host comedy nights some. Great place for your IG pics, awesome inside decor.

I've been on the Comedy Tour, the Brewery tour and now the Haunted Comedy Tour. You can't go wrong with any of them. It's BYOB for beer and wine and the entertainment has phenomenal. On the Haunted Tour Kelly was a great host and comedian. Tommy was agreat driver and our tour guide was hilarious. I forgot his name! Pro tip: don't sit in the back if you want to hear! The motor is back there and its pretty loud.

Well run, and lots of fun! Our bus tour started on time, and although it was a toasty 88 degrees in Asheville, the bus was comfortable through the entire ride. Seats were comfortable, the comedy was great, the actors did an awesome job! A bit of fun facts about Asheville sprinkled in as you drive around downtown, with a fun stop at Greenman Brewery. You're allowed to bring your own drinks on the bus, but can't drink them in the lounge waiting for the bus. However, a large assortment of beer, wine, and soda are available for purchase. Ticket prices are affordable, with discounts on groups of 10 or more. No bad seat on the bus, but if you want to be a more participatory audience member, sit closer to the front. Seating is first come, first served. Enjoy your time on LaZoom, our group did!

If you don’t like to laugh, you should come to- it is sure to change your mind 😂 From check in to boarding it was all a breeze! Oliver Towns was HILARIOUS! He truly is the BEST tour guide in Asheville, I mean, he’s the only one I have met, but still, the best! Loved the interaction along the way! Tommy great job getting us safely around the town. I was SOOOOOO skeptical about doing a comedy tour. I was nervous itd be super corny. But after talking with SEVERAL locals who said they go on it at least twice a year and they love it, I decided to give it a shot. I am SO glad I did. The staff was naturally funny so the humour wasnt forced at all AND the historic information on the city was super interesting! Ohh...and did I mention you can drink on the bus? We got the locals package and it came with locally brewed beer, coozies and some locally made snacks. It was the highlight of our trip to asheville. My bf STILL talks about it (and its been 8 months).

Super fun, well done, uniquely Asheville experience! I've ridden LaZoom a bunch of times and have never been let down. Last night though, my wife and I were part of the Anti Valentines Day tour. Awesome live music by Andrew Scotchie and the Lousy Lovers, continuous pours of champagne, Axe throwing at Axeville, chocolate dipped strawberries. Not a detail was missed. LaZoom does a fantastic job! GET ON THE BUS!

This was a blast! Totally stumbled upon this quirky bus tour by accident when we were walking downtown. This isn't something I would have normally done, but we were in town for my sisters Bachelorette party and I thought this might be fun to do with our group so we signed up for a "tour". A fun 90 min, comedy, guided tour around Asheville on the LaZoom party bus. Bring a small cooler bag with your own drinks! Alcohol is permitted and encouraged. The tour includes one mid-point stop at a brewery in case you need a new round of drinks for that cooler.

We loved it! This was awesome to go and do. We had a great time and think it was the highlight of our trip to Asheville. If you play up your time, the actors will too. We had fun with Agusta Wind... you had to open up to her and say things back, but that's what made it more fun. At the end of the tour, I won the prize, a can of Cat food! You get to bring alcoholic beverages on board with you and they even stop half way through if you need to restock on your supply. If you have a chance, I would definitely go on this tour!

Rhonda on the comedy was hysterical and Bobby Bones on the haunted tour was absolutely perfect. Just enough "adult" comedy to keep it hilarious but classy!! My family and I, squeezed together and mocked as the "Three Little Pigs," were unsure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised when the fabulous Rhonda made her way up the stairs and took over this hell of a tour! You learn some legit history while also being entertained by some fantastic improv performers. Definitely a must do for your first time in Asheville, but be warned, the jokes are unafraid and raunchy. Must have a great sense of humor to fully enjoy this crazy ride. Shoutout to the Bumblebee for whatever the heck that was!

AMAZING staff and tour of beautiful Asheville. Our first time there was a mishap with some annoying bride's maids and rude teenagers who ruined the whole tour for the entire bus. BUT LaZoom made it up to us and we were refunded and given tickets to attend again. Augusta Wind and Tommy were amazing that day as well on the day we came back a few weeks later. Will for sure return for another tour.

The Holiday City Comedy Tour was a lot of fun! Merrimon Monroe (a take on Marilyn Monoroe) was our tour guide. Another woman would appear as the Christmas pickle, a big boxed fruitcake, Greg Nog (yes, Greg! Hahaha), and a huge gingerbread man to surprise us in different locations. The fruitcake even demonstrated some holiday yoga poses on a mat on a sidewalk across the street after she exited the bus... the amazon delivery man pose, carrying the pies pose. They were delightfully crazy and funny! Educational info about Ashville was interesting to learn as we rode around the city on the purple bus. I would definitely go again!

We went on the Comedy Ghost tour, and while a little silly, it was definitely entertaining. Actors put on a great performance and sprinkled a few history nuggets here and there, but mostly this was like a mobile one-man show. Light on ghosts, heavy on puns.

Highly recommend! We booked this trip for our excursion day while volunteering in Asheville. Unfortunately, we missed the bus because we didn't remember where to meet and mixed up the times (silly tourists). Kelly at LaZoom got back with me and gave me the option to reschedule the tour. We had volunteer committments already and could not reschedule. Kelly gave us a refund for our tour and told us to book a tour again when we visit Asheville. A quality experience is not just dictated by how you deal with a willing audience, but also how you deal with waaaaay too inebriated hecklers. I was deeply impressed with how the host patiently attempted to deescalate a group that disrupted a portion of my honeymoon I was highly anticipating. After the incident, the host moved on with the performance not wasting time with commenting on the drunken dredges, and getting back to a delightfully lighthearted yet informative tour. Lazoom is made for those who can handle being respectful while tipsy and occasionally being the butt of a joke (I was dubbed short bus, lol :D). At the close of the tour (after they kicked off those with less class than drunken teenagers), they offered my wife and I an unsolicited free trip! I highly recommend any first timers to Asheville check out Lazoom for the non-dry historical snapshot and comedy!

Just happened to stop in lazoom bar & gorilla out of curiosity and ended up taking their band & beer bus! The bar and gorilla room is such a fun, quirky place to grab a beer and Kyle the bartender gave us the scoop on the local breweries. The band that was on the bus- shake it like a caveman- played fun bluesy-funky-rock and kept us bumpin the whole way to the two breweries we visited (highland and wedge). The guide for the trip was hysterical and kept us all together having a great time. Would take again any day 10/10!

I'm a small business owner. Every year we have an employee holiday party and every year I get stressed out about it. This is our busiest time of the year and I need to spend my time focusing on running a business instead of planning a party. But I don't want to let me employees down by throwing a lame party. It's quite the conundrum. Enter LaZoom. I spoke with Kyle in the office and he was helpful and straightforward with helping me select a date and private tour. When the night came we loaded some coolers onto the bus and off we went. Hilarity ensued. When we got back to the LaZoom Room our catering from Mamacita's was waiting on us. (I also recommend Mamacita's for food. They are delicious and right across the street.) We settled in for dinner and drinks at the bar. All together everyone had a great time and there was much to talk about around the water cooler the next day. It was quite the crowd-pleaser and SO EASY! If you have an appropriate number of employees and guests to fill a bus, I would suggest that you do it.
