Reviews of Harrah's Cherokee Center - Asheville
Absolutely incredible, spacious venue for shows. Lots of drink (soda, water, beer, liquor) and food options (hot dogs, popcorn etc.). Plenty of seating options and great views to the stage. Air conditioned so bring a coat. Great acoustics and bathrooms are nearby to the entrance. Awesome venue. We got to see Lake Street Dive and was incredible.
Visited for the New Year's Eve event and it was a memorable celebration of ending 2021! Three different bands played and we really enjoyed two of them. I was quite impressed with the stage lighting and the 🎈 🎈 🎈 They had good beer selection and the prices were "normal" for a music venue.
The staff was pretty efficient and quick to check the IDs and a proof of vaccination or negative test result.
Experienced the Trinity of Terror Tour again! Great show, venue was awesome. Everyone was so helpful. I would definitely return again. Motionless in White never fails on delivering a heck of a good time!!!!
Great venue for a concert. We saw Zach Bryan and the show was amazing. We sat in section 224. It was a higher seat but still a very good view. I would have a hard time imagining there is a bad seat in the house. It did take a while to get in the building due to security checks and the line was wrapped around the building. Like any event concessions were e expensive but there were plenty of options for food and drinks.
Really nice venue. My husband and I have only been once. We did not try the concession food or anything so I can't speak on that. It looked new, or recently renovated, clean as far as I noticed. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean before and in the middle of a concert. The venue itself is worth 5 stars.
Parking is extensive, as far as street and several parking garages, BUT it was hard to find parking during such a large show. The town, even on a Sunday night, was VERY busy. All garages near by were full. We drove around for 45 minutes looking for a spot! Found one fairly close considering. I would recommend getting there at least an hour early for a big concert. We got there about half an hour before the show started and it took forever to find a spot.
Had a nice date night here at Kevin James comedy show. almost every seat is a good one. Facility is nice if a bit dated. Clean and plentiful bathrooms are a plus. all the staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful. photo taken from 4th row left mezzanine.
Fantastic Billy Strings show on Halloween! This place always has colorful light shows, displays and great sound. Confetti and balloons happen frequently, almost every time I've seen a show here
I got to see ghost. Getting in was a pain and a bit unorganized but it’s a small arena. Things happen.
Was seated in the upper area and had a good line of sight. Clean restrooms. The chairs could be more comfortable so I knocked off a star. Overall a great place to see a band.
Lovely experience last night at Harrahs. They took exceptional care of me as a handicapped patron. Eloise took such good care of us on the ADA deck. She is a treasure. Sound was excellent. Overall a wonderful experience.
Very quaint lovely place to see a band.
Nice venue, but there is no parking. There is a parking garage, but it had been rented out for a wedding across the street... who even knew u could rent a whole parking garage?!? Apparently all of the nearby lots had been rented for this wedding bc they had parking lot attendees everywhere telling us the lots were full when u could clearly see spots available.
We attended on Feb 5th to see the amazing Corinne Bailey Rae and it was great! We sat in the Mezzanine in the last row MM in seats 8 and 9. We could hear her perfectly and enjoyed the light work as well. The venue is slightly dated but had no effect on our experience. We stayed at the Cambria Asheville Downtown and this was only a 5 min walk away. We were only sad that there wasn't an actual casino here. We would definitely come back to see another show here.
Great place to see concerts, but needs some sound system improvement. For being the top place in Asheville to house big-name performers, the building in general needs some major upgrading and renovations (sound system, peeling paint, knicked flooring, bathroom maintenance). I had hoped this would happen when Harrah's purchased the auditorium, but it doesn't seem so.
The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The process to being seated was quick and simple, as well as the bag checks and metal detectors. If you haven't been before, the seating in some areas is very tight, so many opted to stand/spread out when the concert started. Doors generally open an hour prior, so be there when the doors open. That way you can get through the entrance process, use the restrooms, and grab refreshments BEFORE the crowd hits.
Parking situation is a little confusing, so look into it ahead of time. I paid for parking at the local church, which made it very easy for me to get out of traffic quickly.
I'll definitely return to more concerts, but I hope to see some updating in the future.
Years & years of attending concerts at this location. Great venue for general admission shows. Good times!
Saw Pidgeons Playing Ping Pong on New Year's Eve!! Spectacular Show, Best performance that I have ever seen. They put their heart and soul into that show!!
Incredible!!
Comfortable venue, for an arena. Staff was great Billy Strings show was awesome. Drove up from Atlanta. Will come back.
This joint may be outdated, but it was excellent in the seats. Not sure how the floor going exp went, but just up above we we're steps from the bathroom, concessions and the smokers deck. BTW, nice view from the deck! I'd definitely go back.
An awesome place for any concert or any big going on! And of course it's right down in Asheville where there's so much going on anyway. I love this place!
Nice venue, the staff were all exceptionally friendly, the seats were comfortable, and food and drinks (even alcoholic beverages) were available. I parked in the first lot that I saw so I don't know if there is a parking deck associated with this building. That said, the lot was maybe 100 yards from the entrance so that was great.
Both times I have been to the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium for a concert, I have enjoyed myself with the show, the acoustics are amazing there. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed.
Hands in the air for the absolute best city in the world! And a very big shout out to a musical genius AMOS LEE! VIDEO AND PICS COMING SOON
All staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Everyone went above and beyond to help us and answer any questions we had. The establishment was extremely clean and inviting.
I love this venue, but the ticketing lines can be VERY slow.
Thomas Wolfe Theater is a great size. Enjoyed Little Big Town and Gladys Knight. Awesome concert! Convenient parking.
Old venue that’s been rejuvenated. It serves as a fine cornerstone to the great downtown Asheville area. It does not have all the new seating amenities like newer arenas. There are not fancy scoreboards or video boards for sporting events. Beer is served and the food is good for arena food. The ticket takers are nice. The bathrooms are well maintained.
Probably wont ever be back to this venue. That lights were BEYOND amazing but they had like 30 mins with just music playing and no actual artist. I paid $78 for louis the child. They're not that huge to have paid that amount for 2 people and an a little over an hour show. Not worth it!! And it was awful trying to find a lyft and couldnt find one. Uber was charging $35 for a 7 mins drive and it was barely 12. NEVER again!!
Went there for a Discover the Dinosaurs event, its a decent building. However it could use some repairs and repainting in quite a few areas
Asheville needs more parking to hosts events at this venue imo. Good enough venue however, clean, and friendly staff at my time of visit.
Good staff team there and movement of people
The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium was where I attended Lindsey Stirling's Warmer In The Winter tour 2018. My pictures are from the left aisle seat (15) of row O in middle orchestra (floor section). Lindsey Stirling was incredible as usual and the venue was very nice. It's an old fashioned style auditorium with what seemed like great views from most seats. Fun tip there are stair to get off the stage that line up with the aisle between the left & center sections so good possibility the artist could walk right past you. It happened to me!
Went to see a two night NYE show by GRIZ. The first night they were over staffed so the next night (NYE) they were way under staffed. It took 20 min to get a beer due to only having one concession stand open. Other than that its a great venue without a bad seat in the house.
Didn't see anything wrong with the venue at all. Sound was great. No problems with restrooms. Parking was very easy. Will definitely go there again.
Awesome place to have a concert! Had a blast. The food was great, the drinks were great too, not too pricey, but what you would expect for a concert.
The seats were nice, the whole place was just alive with the sound of Billy Strings, was one heck of a concert experience to say the least, was glad that I went and I can't wait to come back!!!
Very nice venue and set up, everything was wonderful!!
Not too big. Most seats have a good view of the stage. Sound and lighting was excellent.
Great location for events and centrally located to everything, if you're in town visiting for a convention, you have tons of options off property if you want to shop and dine on your downtime. The staff is friendly and always accommodating and willing to answer any questions you have.
Friendly staff and decent food options. It is a smaller venue but the acoustics seemed pretty good.
Saw Lumineers here with general admission standing floor tickets. Felt very close to the stage and artists, the stage is huge. They also don't price gouge on beer which is unusual and awesome.
Enjoyed a Lumineers concert here recently. The venue was huge and a little smoky. Lots of walking to get from the entrance to our location on the floor. Standard arena.
Small venue with some history to it. Enjoyed a show with the family from the cheap seats in the balcony. The staff is very well organized and helpful. Health and security checks were a breeze.
Great place to watch live bands. The sound is great there.
Great concert venue but tough finding free parking nearby
Enjoyed the experience! Small, but nice arena! Close to court and felt like a nice family atmosphere!🎾#FedCup #USA #Williamssisters❤️ …
Nice venue with helpful staff. We saw Billy Strings here (2021) for halloween and it was a lot of fun. We spent part of the time on the floor and moved up into the stands on the 2nd level for the second set. The sounds was really good in both spots and it was pretty easy to get a drink or go to the bathroom for a sold out show. The security was pretty minimal with a metal detector (we didn't have to empty our pockets unless it went off) and a quick look in any bags or purses. They had a mask mandate but I think only about 10% of folks were wearing them once we went in. The rules on the the website are pretty intense but they did not seem to keen on enforcing them. There is one large ramp that leads to the floor that is to the right as you enter.
Great sound and lighting. Efficient staff checking back/tests. Security did a great job keeping people from walking down to stage and blocking aisles. Parking across street, refreshments sold. Small bags only.
Was there for a concert and was very surprised that they opened up a big door when it was over. I have never got out of a concert that fast!
Really enjoyed seeing the Marshall Tucker Band live. The facility is nice but the food options are very weak.
Attended Cody Jinks October 9th, First off the supposedly rules of the venue was you must have a Negative COVID test within a amount of time testing outside the Venue or vaccination card. We are Vaccinated the Box Office gave us wrist bands once we asked them where to go and what to do. When entering the venue, I had long sleeves covering the wrist band no one stopped me or checked anything they just let everyone in. Second Security was very poor when entering the venue they just made you take what you claimed was in your pockets and hold it up in your hands and walked through a detector that’s all. I don’t care about the testing or proof but the Security issue was pretty bad, just letting thousands of people in detectors going off didn’t see them stop one person. Besides that sound was great and weather it be their choice or bands choice the House liquor list was very good.
I have been there many times. The service personal are excellent and friendly, especially for moving large crowds. The security is helpful, friendly, and you may not know that they are even there.
However, they need to improve the acoustics, bathroom facilities, and seats. The seats (contrary to other posts) leave very little, if any, room to walk past those people who are already seated. They are not the most comfortable seats for sitting long periods of time and they should have a much larger space from the seats in front of you. Also better parking facilities that are cleaner would help, but I know they are trying. Use the concert parking and not the Rankin garage where they make you pay when you come out greatly slowing down your exit.
My understanding is that improvements are on the way. Yay!
I want to give a huge thank you to the venue manager, Chris- I cannot say thank you enough. My night, not to any of Chris’s fault, was a huge disaster all the way around. BANDS IN TOWN HAD THE WRONG VENUE LISTED SO WE HAD MISSED MOST THE SHOW, I couldn’t get my ticket to load up, major money down the drain for the whole weekend planning of the trip just for this show, I was beyond disappointed and upset but Chris went above and beyond and helped us. GOD BLESS YOU, Chris! You didn’t have to do any of that but you did any way. I’m forever thankful to your professionalism and maturity and stepping up to make this woman’s night better.
LOVE this Place , although the Name has Changed from what I knew it as..... Was here for the
JEFF DUNHAM * Seriously Show ....... That has been CANCELLED 😭😲😲😭 for 🤔🤔 think Match "2019" ......
WAITED long time * and FINALLY IT HAPPENED.
GREAT SHOW .......
Think they said 🤔😲🤔 like 6,000 People ( could be wrong ) ....
It was very easy - not to long of a wait once Doors were Opened ..... Seating was very easy and the Staff we're very very helpful.
Pretty sure this is the Building I used to Attend the
Ingles Food Shows in with Concerts later in the Night.
LOVED IT & TRULY ENJOYED TONIGHT'S SHOW
11 / 21 / 21 .
THANK YOU 💋🌹❤️ Jeff Dunham & THANK YOU , Harrah's ...........
GREAT JOB
Excellent venue. I didn't care for all the micro Brewery beers, not a Beer Drinker, they do sell liquor drinks though you just have to find out where. The sound was great, I had a great time, great venue, highly recommend general admission on the floor.
Nice venue, decent/comfortable seating. Ridiculous fees for this venue (figure about half the cost of a ticket per person) if using Ticketmaster. Not sure if getting tickets at the venue has the same fees, but they don't have regular hours to be able to purchase them.
Saw Spiritbox- Mastodon- Ghost. It was a great show. Parking was tough.
Asheville Symphony season opening. Acoustics are decent although the volume in the balcony could have been higher. Performances were great. Seat cushions need to be updated
We went here for a concert. The performance was great! The seats are a little small, and one of the workers was extremely rude. They don't have hot water to wash your hands with? But other than that, we had a wonderful time here.
The Cellular Center, right in the heart of downtown Asheville, may not seem like much but definitely packs a lot of punch! Though it may feel a bit dated on the inside (felt a bit like my old high school gym), the venue can pack an impressive amount of people, and the acoustics are overall quite excellent. We came from out of town to see Tame Impala, and it was overall an amazing concert. Alcohol prices were about on par with your typical concert arena. Can't comment on the parking since we had parked downtown earlier that day, but the venue itself is a good time.
Have been here a couple times to see shows. Well run venue. Always a smooth and easy entry with plenty of folks to show you to your seats. They serve munchies, beer, liquor. Good sound, good seating.
Nice venue for get together and concerts. The building is in need of interior improvements but the outside is really looking good after a much needed face-lift
THIS IS NOT THE HARRAH CHEROKEE CASINO!! I REPEAT THIS IS NOT THE CASINO. Although it says Harrah's cherokee! The name is so deceiving. I booked a room super close thinking we were seeing Bert Kreishner at the casino, planned a whole weekend around it. I was wrong, the casino is an hour away. 🤦♀️ fortunately we were able to book a room close to the casino and drove there after the show! Decent venue, could use some updating. Helpful staff.
Slayer was great at this venue. Security, concessions, it was just great.
Caught the first show of the final leg of the Slayer tour. Nice small venue. Only complaint was the merch line was crazy long and tucked around a corner so you couldn't anything till you actually got up close.
The staff was super courteous and attentive. If you are driving to see a concert here, I highly suggest forking the $20 and getting the VIP parking. It is worth it. The concert was simply awesome.
Went there for Slayer concert. Friendly staff, instead of focusing on busting people with ecigs, they made sure to get injured people out of the crowd. They also passed out bottles of water to the people along the barrier between sets. Would definitely attend another show at this venue.
I have found as a local vendor who has set up on many occasions throughout the years to do face painting and henna, that it's a great and easy set up to get into for Load up and out. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a nice venue and I can't wait to see what will happen with the new name change.
Great staff! Very approachable, knowledgeable, and kind!
Beer lines were moderate in length but moved quick! Descent selection of craft beers and the normal offered also.
Eat before you go - stadium food at it's worst! Even the "local" stuff was not a pleasant experience.
Go early - get in the parking garage before no more spaces are available - yes this will happen if you wait!
Our family was there for the 2017 Gala gymnastics meet. Much of Asheville was shut down on account of the snow and ice from winter storm Helena, but the U.S. Cellular Center was open and well staffed. For our event parking was convenient and a very short walk to the arena. The facilities were well lit and appeared to be well maintained. The concessions staff was friendly and the prices and selection were on par with what one would expect for a convention center. While I am aware that the event host and the venue operators are not the same, the event ran very smoothly and many times that can be impacted tremendously by the venue and their support.
Great venue for concerts but if they don’t have general admission for the show, show up early or you can forget about your seat. The ushers are typically unwilling to get people out of your seat but will complain if you try to sit elsewhere.
Had an Amazing evening, listened to “Chicago”. Great venue, intimate seating, not a bad seat in the house.
Decent large music and events venue. The acoustics are not ideal, but the large space can accommodate more people than most other venues in town. More importantly, there are several beer lines, and it doesn't take too long to get one if you go to the right area.
Small enough place to where you will always be close to the stage. As the norm is, food and drinks are way overpriced. So eat before your event. Plenty of help there to help you find your seats. I believe the builing holds like 7200 people, so when the event is over it is not such a nightmare to get to your car and leave easily.
I had no problem getting in with the tickets I had printed out. I ended up going to the Gordon Lightfoot concert alone, and felt totally safe. The seats are very comfortable, and the stage super helpful!
Just walked up to purchase some concert tickets. The lady agent was engaging and very helpful. Thanks for the great service!
Never had a bad experience at this facility. Been here many times
There were a lot of restrictions on the show I went to (GRiZ NYE), but it was good venue. GA floor and GA balcony seating means you can be down on the pit or up by some seats. I'm shorter, so the balcony seats ment I could actually see the show and had plenty of dance space. I also saw several acts here for Mountain Oasis and enjoyed it for the same reasons. Docked it a star because some of the excessive restrictions.
Seats are cramped, just changed ownership and website, this place needs new seating better amenities and a lot of TLC instead of new ownership projected on White walls. Also need a better method parking and checking parking for these events. Getting Southern Conference back in Asheville where it belongs as a great starting step.
I am a Travel and Tourism student who recently visited to learn more about the arena. This was a great experience where we got to learn about the events at the arena, as well as the community events they coordinate. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
Went to see Bill Burr stand up comedy show and it was great! They have clean seating and restrooms, nice helpful staff. The acoustics and overall sound system was good.
Cheer competition on one side and Bob Dylan Concert on the other & no problems I witnessed. Smooth operations overall.
This place needs renovations badly. Maybe I'm comparing it to the wrong venues but the seats are outdated and uncomfortable, the sound system is just terrible and the overall building on the inside could use some TLC. This place hasn't changed at all in my 15 years of attending shows here and I haven't been to very many shows at this venue.
Great concert. Good venue. Parking was a nightmare. Ridiculous traffic patterns. Stoplights/signs about 4 car lengths at places. Will deter my consideration of future events.
The ladies room had 6 stalls with 2 out of order for 2 nights in a row!!!!!
Surely fixing them could have been a priority.
Also, No gluten free options except popcorn...
You could host just about any event at this center, clearly a high school graduation of over 300 students went off without a hitch and on time. Very nice venue for trade shows, wedding shows, etc. Looking forward to the Craft Fair this weekend.
Attended for a work training and not an event that would have been fun. Will say that the facility clean, staff were friendly and it is close to many great food spots.
Only complaint was parking.
A lovely venue with on par drink prices. Security was friendly. $11 for liqour drinks. Sound was excellent throughout the venue. A regular stop for umphreys but after 18 years with this band I have to say this show was top tier!!! Asheville has been as kind to us as ever. UMPH LOVE!
I Billy strings made this a six but I can't rate it any higher than a five
Great venue. Acoustics are not the best, but everything else is just fine. They let you get into your musicians the way that you would like in a safe manner.
The Slayer/Primus concert was Awesome! Great environment.
Cellular Center is a place to go for live entertainment and or trade and Craft shows. Parking can be difficult sometimes. There is a Public parking lot across the street or around the corner. A good sugestion if you are going to see a big name star, get into town early park and walk around see our local shoppes. Or grab something to eat or grab a drink before the show. There are plenty eateries all top notch, or visit a local pub for a drink we have a few of those too!
This place charges $2 just to get a wristband to drink alcohol. Then you have to pay $6-$8 per drink (to be expected at a concert). But I still can't get over that $2 charge for the wristband. It's like paying a $2 cover to see a band you already paid $40 for a ticket for.
Great place and beautiful scenery all around, however it is only a four star because I went into every men’s bathroom and none of them had urinals, only stalls and women!!! Also they made me PAY 4 Dollars for nachos, which were very good but that’s besides the point. The real problem is the bathroom thing get the women out of the men’s bathroom and I don’t want any woman ever mistake my name for CREEP ever again, my name is MIKE not CREEP
Great venue for a concert. Just got back from SLAYER. Laid out well with concessions/drinks and they have a convenient smoking area too. 👍 …
Large center with 2 venues. Amazing that this huge place resides in lil' ol' Asheville! Grateful for this place because great acts and shows are able to come through. From sports to the symphony, the cellular center hosts gatherings for all interests!
My experience was awesome Franklin Graham and his word was great music
The inside of the arena was nice but the parking garage was really bad. You can YouTube that nastiness. And to be honest seemed to be alot of drugs in the area. Didn't seem like a safe place to be.
Very cool venue. A little irritated by the lack of control of people just sitting anywhere. We had numerous people hopping in and out of seats near us. Otherwise a great place.
We went here for my sisters graduation ceremony, a few years ago, and it was so nice and clean. It was so big as well it fit everyone in it and still had room in some rows. Congratulations everyone!
Great venue and acoustics!
Great venue. Easy to get around. Would have given 5 stars if they didn't charge for the drink wrist band. The drinks are expensive enough.
I would like to thank Chad Grey from the US Cellular Center. Mr. Gray went out of his way to help myself and my husband who recently had surgery and was in a wheelchair. Our seats were for balcony seats and he went out of his way to have a medic meet us at the door and deliver us to two new seats that were handicap accessible. It is the kindness and compassion of people like him that we need more of in this world.Thank you very much for making our experience to see Bill Engvall even better.
Not the best sight lines for basketball. Most of the seats are in the upper deck.
Probably the friendliest people you will find anywhere, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Asheville NC, such a pretty town and a must for tourists! A special thank you to Gene, theater manager at the Thomas Wolfe auditorium, a very kind and gentle man! You were a great help!
Nice venue with great acoustics. Friendly, and helpful staff.
Have been to many events here through the years. Most recently to see the Harlem globetrotters. It is convenient, as I️ can walk from my house to here (4 blocks away). This place is in serious need of updates and modernization. The only thing that has changed here in almost 40 years is the name.
First time on the main floor for a con. The workers there were helpful and friendly. The ramps down to for level are much easier to deal with than flights of stairs.
We attended the Charlie Daniels Band concert here, but it's a multi-venue place. We were in the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, which was fine... But not a big venue experience.
Saw the band Ghost here May 2018. It was a good experience all around. The center was well built and the sound quality of this venue was excellent. Staff was friendly as well.
It was great, sound was good. Food was good. So happy to see for king and country here.
Love this place!! Exceptionally clean and professional staff..
Beautiful mid-century modern building. The interior needs some work (paint has water damage in the proscenium of the Wolfe auditorium.) Terrific acoustics. Good concessions.
Decent enuf venue, lacks parking and for some reason the nearby lots and garages were allowed to be rented out for other events not being held in the center
Was at Harrahs Cherokee Center for " A. C. Reynolds High School "graduating class of 2021, very nice center. Clean, air conditioning, and spacious.
Great venue for a concert! Perfect location to also enjoy downtown Asheville. Staff & security were great, clean restrooms, local beers.
I think the sound could be better but otherwise glad it exists!
Nice place, but just a suggestion.More help at beverage and concession stands. You'll spend half your Concert Event standing in line for any Beverages or food.
Would like to return next year with the idea to actually purchase something. For the first time, an "arts and crafts" display is worth a serious look to purchase some serious art, as is typical in Asheville in general. Great display venue.
A very nice venue!
The seats a little old and slightly uncomfortable but even in the back of the balcony we had a good view!
We saw the federation cup matches here for the past 2 years. A nice, compact arena with good views from nearly all seats. Friendly staff
Attended Billie Jean King Cup.
Somewhat small venue and finding parking can be a challenge.
Great venue, with only slightly over priced food
Easy access. Clean bathrooms. Comfortable seating. Didn't give 5 stars due to limited parking and difficult slow exit from the building.
Great auditorium. Enjoyed the concerts and a pretty family friendly and safe environment. At least, that's been the case for the concerts I've been too.
Went there for my grandson's graduation wish they gave more tickets.
We went here for our oldest daughters college graduation. Seats are comfortable and we probably had the best seats in the house.
Local beer and ice cream available. The balcony seating and acoustics are great! Parking can be challenging since it's located downtown.
This is a wonderful facility, but I definitely think the added fees on tickets and event parking always run too high. I always end up spending $30-40 just in fees for an event here.
Great venue. Have been going for many years. Could use some updating but the staff are always friendly and helpful.
I come here for Asheville Anime Regional Convention every year and Asheville Comic Expo when it has been held here. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and easy to navigate.
Great place to see a show. Big enough for a good crowd but small enough to keep it intimate. Highly recommend!!
Had a competition here. Large place for activities.
Great place for music. The Thomas Wolfe center is actually inside the US Cell Center. The best parking is either their parking garage on the backside of the building or near the Grove arcade.
Staff was great resolving a ticketing issue. Traffic and parking need to be addressed big time!
I saw Mercy me at the Asheville Center about a month ago the acoustics in the place where incredible for a coliseum and it didn't hurt that it was Mercy me :-) the facilities were adequate however getting into Asheville and finding a parking space close to the center is next to impossible but that does not take away from the experience in the Colosseum
WEEN PLEASE COME BACK SOON ! saw them in April ...it was a dream come true ...love them , the fact they played an awesome show here makes me love this place even more...staff here was super nice as well.
Always treated well there. Concert sound is usually good, for the type of building it is. Parking situation could be better.
This is a great place to go went to see Kevin Hart although they're very restricted if you even take your telephone out of your pocket they will expect they will look scored that get you taken any pictures they will make you leave the property but no refund of your money they are very rude about it although they give you plenty of notice plenty of opportunities but people still tend to pull them out and if you take a picture in that place or turn on a video camera you will be kicked out of there no if ands or buts about it if you're in the nosebleed they have no movie screens to project the images to give you any closer view so if you can't afford to good pickets you better take your binoculars with you
I had no idea if I was still in Asheville or if I had been transported to Cherokee. I dont care what it is called, if somebody wants to dump money into naming rights to keep the place going, fine. It will always just be ths civic Center to any adult who grew up here.
Saw Dream Theater here. Fantastic auditorium: comfortable seating, easy to navigate, quick concessions. Great night!
Nice place to host an event. Parking garages around the corner so the walk. Overall enjoyed our experience there.
Great seats, a smoking section(!)... I didn't feel rushed ever. Great concert, great environment.
Pretty good venue for #FedCup
Meet and greet with the president elect at the time, President Trump! Also took my nephew to see the Harlem Globetrotters! Great venue
This is the first stop for Asheville Music Tours. The first building only lasted 3 years. There have been four versions of the Civic Center since 1900.
One of the best venues I've ever been too!
The seating was great for visibility for the event we attended. The facility is clean and well kept.
employees were great and very accommodating. went out of their way to help me find a drink but could have just said sorry we are out. Very personal
It's the US Cellular Center! We've seen many events here and it's a great event space. I hope to return again and again for future shows!
An amazing concert from Billy Strings and the boys
Friendly staff. Plenty of concessions. No coat check with general admission made for an annoyance through out the evening.
clean facilities, good seating. I went for Griz show, security was nice, ample amounts of beer and water.
Always a treat, culturally enriching. Thankful to be near this exquisite part of Asheville. The art pieces displayed in and around are fabulous, as well
Show was amazing seats were horribly uncomfortable staff was super nice
Concert was great, too much alcohol available and not enough people being "cut off."
Went there to see Ghost. Well-kept facilities, easy parking and quality food and drinks. The staff was very professional.

Great show with Neil Degrasse Tyson. Safe covid policy too
Great place for a concert!!
Woah! That hill climb from street side parking behind the building to the main entrance, was no joke! Well played Universe-overtly-suggesting-I-get-in-better-shape...

I talked with an employee who explained that they didn't take tips because the cellular center pays a living wage. That alone deserves 5 stars.
