Super friendly staff Very knowledgeable and helpful! I've recently started sourcing metal through this facility more than anywhere else in Anchorage due to the wide variety of different metals they carry in stock. What are the biggest benefits I have found utilizing this facility is they charge by length instead of making you buy a full stick when all you need is 2 to 4 in of a certain material. So whether you need 1' stick of flat bar that's 3" wide and 1/4" thick or you need a 2ft by 1ft by 1/8" thick sheet of plate steel you're able to just buy what you need instead of the whole sheet. they also offer a set amount of free cuts depending on what you're ordering big thank you to them! They have a wide range of thicknesses / gauges. Whether it's flat, round, tubular they've got it and if they don't have it they can get it.

I used Metal Super Markets to cut and bend some 1/8 inch metal for me. Product was great and priced competitively. However, there customer service was over the top great! They offered price competitive alternatives to my original order idea over the phone, a clear quote the same day via e-mail, billing for work over the phone, and when I picked up the materials the owner came over and introduced himself. He was incredibly personable and a pleasure to talk to. I'm a white collar professional that put myself through school doing decidedly blue collar work. I'm no stranger to machine shops, heavy equipment yards, and mechanics. While most are competent at their work they generally lack in interpersonal skills. Not the case at Metal Supermarkets. They are a pleasure to do business with. My dollars will go here for all my future metal needs, based on their soft skill alone.

I would just say you need to watch these guys and make sure you ask about all charges on your invoice. I had them ship some metal to the bush and they tacked on a $70 packaging fee after telling me there would be no additional charge to deliver to the air freight company

I brought in an old brace for my salt shield on the snowmachine trailer and they used it as a template making it out of stainless and one piece with all holes drilled and end flattened with new pins. They killed it. Perfect and reasonable cost
