TOP NOTCH SERVICE!! I called 35 minutes before they saw me and had me in like the snap of a finger! I googled “emergency eye services” and read the reviews and saw the Wichita optometry was pretty good so I gave them a shot. Dr Heidi was efficient and very informative. This has been the best/fastest medical anything visit.. EVER. 10/10 experience.

Have had to see him for various optical issues as well as Annual check ups. I feel very comfortable with him. Recently saw Dr. Blast and loved her! And the front office staff is always great and very accommodating when trying to make appointments or when needing to be seen immediately. Highly recommend.

The doctors are very nice and give excellent care and services and really give the feeling they care. I can’t leave five stars because the receptionist at Amidon office needs better customer service. As soon as you walk in the door she doesn’t smile and makes you feel unwelcome which leaves you feeling unpleasant. I hope they have a chance to see this review to work on this. I have always received exceptional care though from Wichita optometry and will continue to go!

My kids where very comfortable with all the staff from start to finish. Everyone took the time to ease them through the process of their first eye exam. My kids are 8 and 5 and were very nervous going in. While leaving they both told me they thought it was fun and they wanted to do it again! Thank you for a wonderful visit! I will add that the facility is beautifully maintained, modern, well lit and very clean. The glasses display are inviting with a plethora of modern eyewear.

This was my first visit to Wichita Optometry but it will not be my last. I loved my visit and how they made me feel like I really mattered. They helped me get around the office and pick out my glasses. I really loved the fact that they were playing Christian music and made me feel at ease.

After my first visit, I could tell the staff was very knowledgeable, and I felt like I was going to get better care for my eyes versus my old provider. Dr. Kline & Dr. Goertz are both very good, and they can always answer any questions and concerns I have with regards to my vision and genuinely seem to care about the health of my eyes. The office staff are so friendly, you can tell everyone enjoys coming to work, which translates into great patient care. I’m really glad I started coming here!

Have been going to this office for 30 years. Started out with Dr Fisher (has retired) and now see Dr Heidi. Have also been seen by Dr Yarrow, Fleming, and Blaisi over the years in emergency situations. All the doctors are very personable, thorough, and knowledgeable. The staff is amazing here from the front desk to the ladies who fit you for glasses. I highly recommend using this office. I’ve had opportunities to go elsewhere (with moving and insurance changes), but have never given it a second thought.

They have a large selection of frames to choose from and can file insurance in office to order glasses or contacts. Highly recommend!

I can't even recall the last time I had to get an eye exam, but I had to today due to a driver's license renewal. I had never been to this location/business before. The staff was amazing. I have worked with medical staff extensively, both as a client and as a clinician. These were perhaps the kindest and most pleasant providers I think I have ever been around. My eyes are (fortunately) still in good shape. I was not planning on keeping any future appointments they might have made, simply because I don't feel they are terribly necessary. However, between the Optometrist's/all caregiver's pleasant natures and (God forbid) even the front desk being respectful, I kept my appointment for a year from now. I don't want to lose an office with such wonderful clinicians. I am pleasantly surprised. Great place.

The entire staff is well-trained, using the latest technology to treat and care for their patients while still maintaining a warmth and responsiveness not always found in today's environment.

I love Wichita Optometry! They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and engaging. From the oldest to the newest employee, they all have genuine helpful attitudes. I also really love my doctor. Dr. Chadwin Fleming is simply the best! He listens and asks questions as to what your needs are, how you are feeling and what can be done to improve or sustain your eyesight. I needed same day service due to an eye emergency. They were able to get me in right away. They did some testing and the dr. came In and checked on me twice. Fortunately the eye wasn't in major crisis as it looked and was sent home with eye dtops. I've been coming to this office for close to 40 years and have always been treated with kindness and respect. The receptionist Nadia was welcoming and friendly considering I was a couple of minutes late due to my own confusion of which office location my appointment was at. Both offices were accommodating and flexible, nonetheless. I waited only a few short minutes in the lobby and was promptly seen. Katy my pre-tester was thorough, helpful and organized. After pre-testing I waited only a few short minutes to see Dr. Fleming. Dr. Fleming was extremely personable, he was professional during the examination and with his review of my testing. He answered some questions I had and anticipated my eye care needs by taking into account my everyday eye troubles. Considering my vision difficulties as the years progress, I found that his proactive approach and concern was most impressionable. I was then directed to Kay who helped in my decision with frames and who ordered my glasses. The office staff were extremely helpful in pulling all of my benefit/coverage information. I was overall impressed, satisfied and I would recommend Wichita Optometry for anyone seeking an eye care office. Thank you for the lovely experience!

The doctors - we’ve seen several at different times - are outstanding. The service is straightforward, efficient and effective. We have used WO for emergent services, as well as more recently eye infections. Regardless of the need, they provide great service.

My 6 year old broke his glasses and Dr. Yarrow was able to get him in quickly at the McLean office. This was our first visit there. He was fantastic and thorough. We ended up going to the Amidon office to find glasses for him and even though we got there at closing time, they stayed open until we found something that worked. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will absolutely be taking the rest of the family!

Dr. Heidi is wonderful. He’s thorough, patient, knowledgable, and articulate when explaining things to me. The gals in the optical department are awesome. We always have good experiences with them. Today Jessie helped us and she was amazing! She establishes a great rapport with patients immediately. However, I am never happy with the receptionist at the Amidon office. She doesn’t look up to greet clients. She doesn’t establish a welcoming rapport with clients. This isn’t the first time I’ve felt this way. You need to have someone at the front desk who makes clients want to be there. First impressions are important. Honestly, if it weren’t for Dr. Heidi and the optical staff, I would find another place for eye care because of her attitude.

This was my first experience with Wichita Optometry after changing insurance. My experience with my last optometrist was not very good and made me dread dealing with my eye issues. I was very surprised when going to Wichita optometry at how nice and helpful the staff were. I just had a general good feeling with the way they explained things. Dr Heidi is who I saw and he was outstanding, he really helped me understand the issues I was experiencing and how we could work towards solving them and my eye care long term. I have a very high prescription and Dr Heidi made me feel like I had a whole world of options when my last optometrist made me feel like I'd have to settle with what he could find. Dr Heidi told me why I was having comfort issues with contacts and prescribed me some eye drops to help. He even called and took care of things with the pharmacy and my insurance when there was an issue on that end and calling to keep me updated. He even called me back the next day to check on how the drops felt and if I had any discomfort. We also had a very nice lady in the sales area named Theresa who helped me pick out some killer glasses and helped me find the best options for me! I can't wait to pick them up when they get here! Wichita Optometry will receive my business for many years to come after this experience and I can't thank Dr Heidi and the staff enough for all of there help in making me comfortable.

I have driven past this place probably 900 times in my life and never really noticed it but why would you notice an optometry clinic unless you were going there right? Anyway our experience here was fantastic the girls in the front and the techa who started us out are so super sweet and very good at what they do. Dr Heide (sp?) was great! Very knowledgeable and professional but also very nice and was great with my son. Our old eye doctor closed during Covid and I was not happy to be looking for a new doctor but I feel like we were meant to find them here and we will definitely stay!!

I was referred to Dr. Chad Fleming from a friend, and have been seeing him for a couple of years. I have had vision correction since age 8 and have regularly seen eye other doctors. However, at my first appt with him, Dr Fleming explained issues that had either not been noted before, or never presented to me. That in itself won me over as he seems to be attentive and proactive to the health of my eyes in addition to vision correction. So appreciated!

This office was recommended to me by a family member. I have been very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Blasi and her staff. She is very friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and has never seemed rushed during my exam/visit. My glasses have all worked well and I feel my vision is very good with each new script I have received. The office has been able to get me in to see Dr. Blasi in a timely manner when I have called for an appointment. My only complaint is that on a few occasions the front office staff has not been very friendly or welcoming. I will continue to see Dr. Blasi for my future eye care and would recommend her and this office to my family and friends.

I have been a patient of Dr Yarrow for many, many years. I've always felt that my eye exams have been very thorough and Dr Yarrow has been great at providing professional guidance with regards to LASIK and cataract surgery. I've recently had my second cataract surgery and Dr Yarrow has completed the follow up exam/refraction. I've been having a little trouble with the glasses and or prescription I received following this last procedure, but Dr Yarrow and the dispensary staff are currently working to make things better and meet my expectations. I have no doubt that things will work out well. I've recommended this office to many friends and family and to my knowledge all have been satisfied. I did read other reviews posted and I will say that I have occasionally encountered some of the office staff who were not always the greatest at customer service. This seems to be transient and those staff members are usually gone by the next visit. I go the optometrist for their expertise and experience. Dr Yarrow meets or exceeds my expectations and the ancillary staff are typically very good as well.

Love Dr. Geortz and Dr. Kline! That is why they get 5 stars. These two are amazing. So is his MA! The gal that fits and measures the glasses ...zero stars. Super rude. Took a tray of glasses my daughter's and I were looking at and stuck it where we couldn't see while they looked in the mirror. Then said she would get with us in a minute VERY rudely. She wrote the entire order for my teen daughter when my daughter asked her to wait because she needed my approval, then got mad when I said no to the pair and she had to remove the order. Then when I checked out she told the front desk that I left the paperwork in the eyeglass section when SHE was the one that the paperwork was handed to. She was also rude 2 weeks before when I had to have a side arm repaired on one girls glasses. Then the front desk woman proceeded to give me the RX and had to make sure I had 3 copies of a paper that basically said they won't do any repair on glasses not purchased there. One would be sufficient as we all know the warranty is through where you buy them. Love our doctors but not the new office staff.

On the left eye, wearing a mask kept fogging up the little eye thing I was looking through so I missed clicking when I’m sure the light came up because it kept fogging up. So my left eye test is not right. They ought to tell people to take off the mask when doing that test.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Yarrow for my acute condition and he was phenomenal. He took time to listen to my symptoms as well as my week long timeline of progression. Wichita optometry is a superior service provider in everything that it does. I am greeted by name as I walk in the door. The medical assistants who perform the initial testing are competent, friendly, and efficient. The practice uses state of the art diagnostic equipment. My particular optometrist, Dr. Chad Fleming, is extremely thorough and engaged in both my care and my understanding of that care. The last time I had my glasses adjusted the technician came back with properly fitting frames and the offer to order free replacements for my slightly scratched lenses, as they were still under a two year warranty. I have been patient at Wichita optometry for 20 years, and this level of service has been a constant. I recommend them at every instance the subject of eye care comes up.
