Everyone at WWFO are very nice and professional. The atmosphere there is pleasant. I was well taken care of and my old glasses that i got there a year ago were cleaned and refurbished while i was there, and they gave me a new case for them. The consultation regarding different insurance coverages were discussed in detail and I was given the best options as well. My cataract in my right eye was changing my vision. I was not ready for surgery. They were able to make the necessary adjustments to my prescription to avoid surgery. I was able to select new glasses that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I was very happy with the entire experience.

He took time to do my eye exam right, and also to answer my questions which helped me to weigh my options. They also had people on stand by to help adjust my glasses that I had purchased from them a year ago.

Dr. Simon is the most professional, detailed, compassionate, and thorough eye doctor! He detected my close angle glaucoma and referred me immediately to Greene Vision. I have a eye that's is sore, irritated and almost bloody like and West Wichita Family Optometrist seen me right away. The doctor checked my eye thoroughly to make sure that I didn't damage my eye, and thank God I did not. The doctor was very gentle with my eye and he gave me some medication for it to take for approximately 10 days. The doctor was very considerate, very caring, pleasant, and very professional. The staff there was marvelous as well. I don't trust very many people with my eyes but West Wichita Family Optometrists are so amazing and they care about the patients and I really appreciate that. I will not trust my eyes with any other optometrist. Thank you to all the staff and to the doctors for caring so much about their patience sights.

Brought my 92 yr old Dad in for a eye exam. He's hard of hearing but otherwise in pretty good shape for 92. The clerks, techs, and Dr. Simon was amazing. Treated with such respect and dignity. I've been coming to West Wichita Family Optomitrists since I was 14. (I'm 62 now) Whether it is a check up appointment or emergency they are always ready to help. Today was an emergency check for an infection. The staff worked me in, made me feel like it was no big deal. Dr. Lamp checked me out, described what was going on and got me the medication necessary. It doesn't matter if you are at the Goddard office or in Wichita you'll get great care and service.

Dr. Emily Becker has once again shown to be an amazing optometrist! Our family trusts her and my kids love her. This time an emergency for my sons eye was cared for immediately after a pencil was thrown into it at school. We’ve been going to Dr. Becker, as a family, for years. We’ve been happy with the care and service we receive. The practice has always done a good job of providing us options for our eye care products, and does not try to encourage us to purchase solely from them. The fact that they have two locations has added to the convenience of making appointments.

Several years ago my company changed my vision insurance to a plan that Wichita Family Optometrist didn't accept at the time. Because of budget concerns I visited another Optometrist office for my annual check-up and new glasses. Doctor was nice and staff friendly but the alignment of my progressive bifocals was totally off and their solution was to twist my frames so that they dug into my forehead and were angled an inch away from my cheeks. Never again. I went back to Dr. Simon and the staff at Wichita Family Optometrist and vowed to never change again even if insurance was a consideration. The doctors and staff at Wichita Family Optometrist are well trained in their profession as well as being extremely nice.

Dr. Ryan Emrick took the necessary time to explain what he was doing during the eye exam, reviewed any problem ares, and answered my questions. We discussed contact options as my eyes are not great for fitting into contacts, but suggested options we can try. When Dr. Emrick asked if I was doing my daily regiment of eye drops, and I said, “not exactly” Dr. Emrick gently reminded me it would be a good idea if I did. He let me save face but was also professional in telling me to get on the stick! Ann is a natural at helping me pick out glasses that work for my face! She gives honest feedback in a professional manner. She has gone above and beyond in the past, and it was no different today — very appreciative! Bottom line: Each transition was seamless and timely.
