I had a great experience on Saturday for my comprehensive eye exam. I got my eyes checked the second time here and had a great experience as always. The front desk ladies were kind and very transparent about the prices with/without insurance. One of the staff member performed refractive and peripheral vision tests on my eyes before I met with Dr.Laura. They checked my previous prescription glasses and detected the discrepancy in the vision defect numbers from an other local optometrist whom I suspected to have given me a wrong prescription and how my eyes experience constant strain. Dr.Laura explained me the results and performed the eye exam again, along with pressure test. They provided me with my prescription numbers and didn’t force me to take glasses with them. Moreover, they accept patients without insurance and it’s quite affordable too. I appreciate all the staff including Dr.Laura for a quick diagnosis and accurate prescription. I totally recommend it. Thank you!

Right away you get the impression that the staff and doctors actually care about their patients and will do anything it takes for your care. The office is spacious and everything is well organized. I had all my questions answered here by the doctors and staff. My wife and I selected our new glasses here and I’ve never had anyone go over every detail of fitting them as we had here. Love the experience I’ve had so far. It’s so different than the small cramped offices and exam rooms I’ve been used to. It’s an outstanding experience at Opticology.

We’ve been going to Opticology for awhile now but this was our first appointment at the new location. It’s such a beautiful space! Also, the office staff has always been so friendly. I was referred to this clinic by my eye doctor after I had an eye injury. My eye doctor couldn't countie my care because I needed a special contact lens. I went in for a regular eye appointment and to talk about getting back into contacts. Had my appointment and got a new glasses prescription and the very next day got back in for my first fitting for my new contact lenses! He is short and sweet to the point which I personally like! He explained everything very well as we went through the first steps. The front staff are also very friendly and helpful. All around a good experience. I'm glad this is where I ended up.

I have been seeing Dr. Badger and Dr. Laura for about 5 years. The new office space is goregous! Last week, I took my 2 year old for her first eye exam as well as my yearly appt. The admin Pamela is always extremely helpful and greeted us with a smiling welcoming face (she even helped my daughter with her coat as i paid for my visit). Anthony was so patient and spoke so kindly to us as he checked both of our eyes. 2 other staff members helped us out through out appointment, I dont recall their names but they were also amazing. Very nice building with a good selection of frames. They also carry colored contacts without prescription on them for you to try before you buy. They use up to date technology which made me happier. They were able to do more tests to get a more comprehensive exam. Staff was extremely kind and knowledgable. They don't rush you at all and help you with any questions you may have. I spent an hour and half there because I was getting glasses and contacts. I also hadn't been to an eye doctor for about 6 years. After I went home, I had more questions that they were able to answer with kindness. I also asked for the frames I got to look them up and show my husband. She gave me the name along with sending me an email with a picture as well. Awesome team :)

I am delighted to have this opportunity to tell you about my experience this past Tuesday. As you know, I had my eye care done in Derby for at least 35 years and was very happy with it. SO, it was not easy to, all of the sudden, have to make a switch to the new DR. BUT, after just 2 or 3 visits to Opticology and especially after this last visit, I am completely impressed and excited about the care I am getting. I was so pleased with the treatment and professional dealings with ALL the people I dealt with. Today was my second yearly appointment with Dr. Greyson, for a full eye exam. The staff was fully compliant with current Covid requirements. Everyone of the staff members I had contact with, was very friendly, professional and upbeat. The exams were very detailed, covering all areas associated with insuring the best in eye care. Special note: They offer two additional tests, above standard covered testing, that provide very critical and preventive information. In fact, one of the test, which my wife had taken too, ended up saving her life. Had she not done the test, she would have died in a matter of days. She was referred to a specialist which perform emergency surgery based on the test finding, and she prevented a massive stroke from clotting, picked up by the eye testing. I highly recommend the additional detailed testing. The doctor (Greyson) was professional, very knowledgeable, explained everything he was doing along the way and made sure I understood all results. Overall, the office staff operates with fully trained, courteous and friendly staffing, which made me feel happier with the visit.

As a teacher you get to eye screenings. No other doctor in town can give you eye care in a more friendly, professional, and timely manner. He is especially great with kids. Amazing company that will go the extra mile. I was in town for a visit and unfortunately I forgot to pack extra contact lenses. With only the pairs in my eyes, one of the lenses became very irritating and I was certain it was going to rip soon.
