Dr. Toon was a joy to visit and was so fun and easy to talk to! I've had glasses for almost 2 decades, and never really understood what the optometrist was doing or looking for. But my first visit to Julie, she walked me through what she was doing and what she was looking for, and honestly I've never been more confident in my prescription! Her husband being at the reception desk was also great! He's easy to talk to as well, and that helped with the overall experience!

An angel in disguise is all I can think to say. Stumbled across her accidentally and had been needing to see an eye doctor for some vision and nuerological problems. I had been to my primary care doctor and then to the Emergency room and left with very little hope that we were going to figure out why I have been feeling the way I have. After an hour with Dr. Toon she had answers for me which requires some scary tests, but she went above and beyond to comfort and reassure me even keeping in contact after my appt and the next morning. I truly believe God used her in my life at this moment. I will be forever grateful. One of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met in my life.

We started seeing Dr. Toon last year. She was recommended by my daughter's school teacher. Her school is close to the clinic and the convenience of being able to do my grocery shopping right after is a plus because it is right at Target. Dr. Toon and her husband are both so nice and it is a small clinic that it feels like you are part of their family. Dr. Toon is very patient with the kids and awesome of what she does. She takes care of everything herself while her husband handles the office or business side of it I think, so it is perfect.

I’d only ever gone to one eye doctor my whole life but since I aged out of my parents insurance, I could no longer see the doctor I had been going to as they were too expensive. Dr. Toon provided a lower cost alternative but the exam was exactly the same as what I have been used to. She is very warm and friendly. I felt she genuinely cared about me. I am getting married in 6 weeks and will once again have eye insurance through my husband and I think I will continue to see Dr. Toon.

Was able to accommodate me on short notice for a new prescription. Dr. Toon and Scott are super nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to some communication issues. I had left a couple of messages and didn't seem to get calls back regarding my prescription, as the trial contacts did not match the prescription that I was actually written, so had to call Dr. Toon directly on her cell. Also has taken more than a few days for office to confirm prescription for glasses. However, I do attribute some of those issues to that fact that I'm from out of state. Would recommend and go back for an exam if I am in Wichita area again.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Toon and her husband. They are both professional, courteous, and overall lovely people. I’ve only been once before and they remembered me and talked to me like we have known each other for years. Throughout the exam Dr. Toon tells you what she’s doing and why, all while having pleasant conversation. They both make you feel like they care not only about your eye health, but about you in general. I have been going to an optometrist for over 15 years and have always just gone to whoever was closer.
