I dropped by this For Eyes today to get my glasses adjusted. I recently moved to DC and had been a fan of the local For Eyes in my former city, and fortunately I found the same great customer service at this location! The staff member who helped me (I wish I'd caught his name) was kind, happy to help, and put a lot of care into making sure my glasses fit correctly. I really appreciated it because I've had some poor experiences with adjustments in the past when opticians were hasty or just didn't know what they were doing, leaving me with ill-fitting glasses. So glad I didn't encounter that here! I'll be coming back to this For Eyes for my future eyecare needs.

I like the location of the place. Easy to get to and in a decent area. I like the staff. They were very helpful especially Alejandro Hernandez (don't worry he told me to do this shout out) pretty disappointed in some glasses were not available but overall I give four stars.

My husband and I have been coming here for many years and we absolutely love it! From the front desk staff to the doctors and the staff that help with the fitting of glasses. All have been awesome! Dr. Lee takes the time to explain the results of the eye exam. He is very thorough and professional. Could not ask for a better experience each and every time.

I wasn't acknowledged when I arrived at the front desk to pick up my order of three pairs of glasses. When I finally got someone's attention the clerk just handed me the three boxes containing my glasses secured by a rubber band, turned and walked away. I had to wait twenty minutes for someone to begin adjusting each pair for a good fit. Spent $1000 and they didn't even throw in a few wet wipes. Lame...

I cant get a hold of anyone at the store. they wont pickup the phone and mailbox is full. Much easier to work with in person

Kelly was amazing. I was shopping around for contact lenses and Kelly was the first to return my call after I sent in my prescription so she got my business. She was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I needed trial contacts as well and she had them. I came in just before closing and she had the trial contacts ready and my order ready to pay. Quick and seamless transaction. I’ll be coming back for my contact needs.

Friendly front desk staff and quick service too. We purchased my son's glasses last year and needed to go in for an adjustment. From start to finish, we spent about 10-15 minutes in the store. Not only was the the staff member kind to my pre-teen son, he was patient and flexible, going back multiple times to adjust my son's glasses until they were just right. He also spoke with me, explaining what he had done, what to expect in the future, and how to remedy the issue should it occur again.

Great service. I lost my glasses, James got me in within an hour and hooked me up with new frames. I was in and out within 15 minutes and the glasses arrived 4 days later. So fast, so easy. James took care of the insurance and even hooked me up with a sweet case. Thank you!

Old pair of glasses kept breaking and decided to come in and snag a new pair. The buy one get one free deal was great and got two designer pairs of glasses for a solid price. Five stars is because Paul (the store manager) was phenomenal at helping me select replacement glasses to fit my old lens and worked with me on finding the right fit. Typically I stay away from chain opticians but Paul's expertise was great and made the experience super smooth. Definitely work with him for excellent customer service!

This was my first appointment and I was very pleased that Dr. Sutton has a phenomenal bedside manner. She was kind, thorough and professional. From the front desk to the optical specialist, kudos to G Street NW ForEyes!! Where they dropped the ball terribly was in the lab. I brought in my own designer frames, including case which included the accessories. Not only did it take longer than they told me to get my frames back I had to keep calling and when I want to pick them up my bifocal lens were not in the right place, the lens edges were not buffed and finished & they had lost my case and all the accessories. I finally got my glasses and the manager, Mr Tucker was awesome and professional resolving the issues.

She educated me on my eyes and their current condition so I felt completely taken care of. I suggest going to this business for glasses or contacts, exams.

I've had horrible experiences with eye doctors in the past, but this place is changing my mind. Unfortunately, I don't recall the doctor's name, but she was fantastic. She really took time to make sure my prescription was just right instead of rushing me through to see the next patient. Then there was Erica. She helped me pick out new glasses and sunglasses with the patience of a saint. I'm a VERY picky person when it comes to glasses, but she made it fun to try on new things and get it just right. I will definitely be back.

I had an emergency to replace my classes, I received new glasses less than five business days. They even offered take off 40% per glasses, for which I became extremely happy for. Their plenty areas to park after rush hour traffic and very confinent by Bus or Red line Subway.

Came there really desperate with heavily bend glasses - I am a backpacker and didnt have the money nor the time for a new pair. The old and really nice man with the Santa Clause-like white beard really managed to fix them for me- and that for free! I am really grateful for that and can only recommend this awesome place!!!

I strolled into For Eyes and into eye glass paradise. Paul Allen, as honest as they come, offered that it was that likely a delicate pair of frames would survive swapping out old lenses for new; others had said too risky to even try. At For Eyes, the impossible is possible! The "operation" was successful...score one big point for For Eyes in Metro Center. Paul also noticed something awry in the prescription from my (outside) opthamologist; he consulted with the independent optometrist at For Eyes (without charge) and telephoned my (outside) opthamologist. Score two points. Very reasonable prices and refraining from even trying to sell me what I don't need. Three points. I am told that For Eyes changed management a few years ago; that may explain the low ratings a while back. This is one very happy customer. By the end of the experience, I truly feel as if I had made a friend in Paul Allen.
