I am big on feedback and reviews, I can say this is the best eye care optical I have ever been to in Virginia. Rialeigh took her time as well as took out more time to help me and accommodate what I liked, she also takes the time to learn your style. I am very picky when I comes to anything, I was and still am happy that this was my fist and only choice of eye care provider that took care of me having 20/20 vision. I highly recommend this company. Thanks again.

This entire team is the friendliest, most helpful team I have ever gone to. The doctor himself actually listened to what I needed and got me into a better prescription and lenses and Rialeigh has the perfect eye for finding glasses that will compliment and look great on people. It was also the quickest visit I've ever had, both when I went in for my exam and when I picked up my glasses. I was in and out with all questions answered and some even anticipated. I've never had a better experience! Bonus points for the doctor showing me cool pictures of my eyes and explaining what everything was.

Observations from one visit to this clinic: Staff seems nice. Office appears to be dirty. Dust and dirt on floors, dust on equipment, made me question things. Clean office space speaks volumes, and hopefully it is not a reflection of how they do things. I’ve been to many eye clinics and had a lot of exams done, but this visit, unfortunately, did not leave a positive impression. I wanted to leave. I feel like if they cleaned up and focused more on the people who visit them ( no one really engaged in a friendly conversation with me) things will go better long term. Just an opinion. Now if they offered water and even coffee. Fantastic!

The optometrist is great, and thorough. The quality of the frames they sell there leave much to be desired. First pair had lenses that kept popping out. Second pair the frames literally kept coming apart every day. I no longer live in the area, but if I did, I'd come back for the dr, just not the frames.

I had some issues with my eye and looked up the closest eye doctor to me and came across Sea Eye Care. I am beyond impressed with everything from scheduling my appointment, the tech, the care I received from Dr. K and even the follow up after my appointment. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and really friendly. The doctor actually spent time explaining things to me and making sure my prescription would fit my needs and never made me feel rushed or unimportant. The tech who helped me pick out my frames was very intuitive to what I was looking for. Many places say they are customer service oriented, but the staff at Sea Eye Care truly demonstrated how it is done! The office also uses the latest technology to ensure my eyes are healthy.

I’m new to the area. Moved here from Charlotte NC. I have sjogrens so eye care is very important to me. I checked my insurance for providers in my PPO and Dr K was listed with a 💯 % rating by my insurance company plus he was close by. So I decided to check him out. I had my first visit and was amazed. After reading the other reviews, it became obvious why my experience was one of the best I’ve had in years. It began at the front door with staff who showed nothing but professionalism while providing knowledgeable and compassionate care. While there my needs were assessed and a plan of care was developed specifically for my conditions. I know good patient-centered care when I see it and this practice is all about it. It is my hope and prayer that everyone who needs you finds you like I did…and I’m glad I did.

I haven’t even been to my appointment yet and already I love this place. I just scheduled an appointment with the receptionist and I wish I knew her name but she was an absolute joy to talk to. she sounded genuinely excited to set my appointment up. She just really brightened my day. Just goes to show a great receptionist can make or break appointments.

Sea Eye Care is great! Dr. K and his optician Haley were so wonderful to work with. Dr K asked all the right questions to get me set up in the PERFECT pair of glasses. I don't have eye strain or that pesky twitch that just wouldn't go away any longer! Haley helped me pick out a pair of glasses that look great on me too. Not only do I have new sense of confidence wearing my glasses but i can rest assured my eye health is taken care of too. Dr K is definitely going to be my eye Dr for as long as I am in VA beach area.

Dr. I was amazing with my 4 year old son. His doctor requested he see optometrist after his physical, but most wouldn’t see kids under the age of 7 or without a referral, which my insurance doesn’t require a referral for an eye appointment. He was very patient with my son, and gave me so much information about what he was doing and children’s eye development at this age. My son really felt comfortable with him and loved trying on the different glasses. Will definitely be using them as our family eye doctor, and would recommend them to anyone. Especially those with little children.

Did not know what to expect, I was initially accompanying my partner to his eye appointment. When we arrived Erika greeted us and got him all checked in. I made an off hand comment about how I needed an appointment as well and she immediately printed out paperwork so I could be seen also. This was by far one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had at an optometrist in the last decade. I am so excited to go back to see Erika and Dr. Komornik. If you are on the fence about going to see them don’t be.

I was looking for a new optometrist and found Dr. James Komornik at Sea Eye Care. My last optometrist told me that I wasn’t able to wear daily contacts and the two week long ones make my eyes painful and red by the end of the day. So I went in to Sea Eye Care defeated and figured I’ll just stick with glasses. Dr. Komornik was able to order daily contacts for my prescription and he told me that he saw signs of allergies in my eyes...I had never heard that before but it makes sense with the way my eyes seem to itch, contacts only make that worse. Additionally, Erica is super bubbly and welcoming. She finally got me in some glasses that I love! They only took 3 days to come in and her personalized adjustments to my glasses make them stay on and look great (I’ve never had someone adjust them to make them stay on my face so I always saw the top of my glasses. Not anymore!) Thank you Sea Eye Care!
