Dr. Morgan and his staff were very friendly and polite! I would highly recommend them if you're on a budget. $50 for an exam only, with no insurance, and they gave me all the info needed to order glasses online. I even got a personal postcard written by Dr. Morgan himself thanking me for coming in!

Dr. Morgan is the greatest eye doctor in the 757! I recommend him to all of my friends and family. He is so attentive and genuinely cares about his clients. During my visit, we had a conversation about a new job i landed and a week later i received a post card congratulating me on my new position. This is the type of customer service MVC offers. I never have to wait and the the front desk staff are truly exceptional.. he’s very knowledgeable.

Dr. Morgan is one of the honest practitioner I've met. He is very patient during my eye exam, I didn't feel he rushed it at all. I have been to many places for an annual eye exam and this practice is a very welcoming one, I hope it doesn't change. The office and staff are very welcoming and friendly and cheerful. They are not like other vision practices that will push you to get glasses if you have a prescription. As in no pressure at all and the staff doesn't seem to be offended when I declined. Definitely my new place for eye exams.

This was by far the best experience I've had for an eye appointment. From the moment I walked in to the time I walked out, I felt as if I was completely catered to!! First off, the atmosphere was very positive, the staff were extremely polite and friendly which made me feel right at home! It was very clean and smelled amazing! Excellent service - highly recommend! My husband and I have been going to Dr. Morgan for years. He is knowledgeable, patient and kind, and his staff are incredibly friendly and professional. We are always seen right away and Dr. Morgan takes the time to explain results and answer questions. I love that I can opt for digital imaging of my eye instead of dilation. We have been to several eye doctors due to frequent moves. My children usually have Medicaid insurance, and most places TREATED us like we had Medicaid. Frame selection is usually limited, which I understand, but the quality of care shouldn't be less just due to our insurance. Every single member of Morgan's staff is always so kind and accommodating. They have made getting new glasses a very enjoyable experience this time. After our first visit, we even got a card from Dr Morgan telling us to have fun on the trip i mentioned we were taking. We love Michelle. She always takes time to help pick just the right frames. I would recommend this place over and over again!

My mom recommended this place. I wasn't sure at first, but if my mom tell me it's a great place I trust her. I sent an appointment, but asked to be put on the list that can move my appointment up if anyone cancelled. They called and made sure I got the earlier appointment like I wanted. There was a miscommunication between what the insurance company was telling me and what the office was saying, but Dr. Morgan explained everything to me and did my contact fitting for free since it wasn't explained to correctly before I came in for my appointment. Even with the miscommunication his staff nor him ever made me feel like I was the problem. He made sure I was comfortable and answered every question I had. He even picked out some great contacts for me that don't even feel like I have them in. He's amazing and he's my go to for now on. I trust him with my eyes. He's the best !!

Honestly some of the best and most personal care! I took my 6 year old to have his eyes checked, we did not have any wait at all, we were taken back right away, and Dr. Morgan was incredibly friendly and patient with my son. He explained everything to me after checking my sons eyes, and the staff that helped us with choosing glasses was also very friendly and sweet! Everyone was so kind and accommodating! And then, about a week after we had our appointment we got a sweet little post card in the mail from Dr. Morgan saying thank you, and he wrote a little personalized note on it to my son saying he hoped a Nintendo Switch found it’s way under the tree from Santa. I thought it was so sweet he remembered that conversation with my son. Very personalized care, it makes a lasting impression! Thank you for your hospitality Dr. Morgan!

Went to see Dr. Morgan based off the reviews on this very page. Had to have my annual check for medical doctor due to diabetes and needed some new contacts. Dr. Morgan is very personable and soft spoken, was very informative all during the process, kept asking me if I had any questions and gave me multiple options regarding contacts and eyeglasses. Very happy with the service's provided.

Also, accepts tricare so if you are military and new to the area definitely go see Dr. Morgan. You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Morgan was very efficient at providing quality service for my 2 boys eye exams. We did not have to wait long. Dr. Morgan did all of the work himself and did not use an assistant. The office was clean and decorated nicely for the holidays. Most importantly the office takes Tricare Prime, no co-pay required.

Dr. Morgan was very professional and extremely thorough. My eye exam only took about 20-30 minutes and I had a significant upgrade in my vision. He did a great job in finding the perfect prescription for me. He checked on my overall eye health, also. Immediately following the exam, they gave me my prescription. They didn't pressure me into purchasing glasses from them at all either. I highly recommend Dr. Morgan and I will be going here from now on.

I have such wonderful things to say about them, starting with Robin; she is so friendly and helpful! I was only scheduled to have an appointment but asked if maybe since we were already there if they can fit my daughter in as well sometime on the same day since I was off work. She said yes with no hesitation and I actually felt bad because it causes their schedule to be delayed. Dr. Morgan saw my daughter and I at the same time and made us feel so comfortable being there, and he was so personable. He is so knowledgeable and explained everything to me in depth that I could understand, considering I am not an Optometrist. There is more that I could say, but that would take me forever! I would recommend him to any and everyone, and that's what I plan on doing. Spread the word!! I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. I look forward to our yearly check ups now. :)

My daughter needed a new optometrist. She went to the one in Salem Crossing for 5 years due to being convenient. Unfortunately we were treated like we were an inconvenience. Only wish we would have switched sooner.

Dr. Morgan and his staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. I'd struggled to find the right optometrist for a year after we relocated. Other optometrists I went to tried to sell me on stuff I didn't need, or told me I wasn't a candidate for lasik because they wanted me to stick around. (Which was completely false, as I had a consult that same year proving otherwise) I wanted to find a place I knew would have my best interest at heart and I finally found that in Dr. Morgan and his care team. I recently had my first vision appointment here, and I had a great experience. The office was small and quiet, and Dr. Morgan and his staff were very friendly from the time of scheduling my appointment and on. One thing that really stood out to me was the fact that I was not pushed to purchase glasses. I was allowed to browse and try things on without staff trying to push me to purchase that day, and that often is not my experience elsewhere.

Dr. Morgan is not only a GREAT vision care specialist; he is a caring and knowledgeable human being. He has excellent communication skills that not only put the patient at ease, but lets you know he really cares. Dr. Morgan told me things about my eyes that I suspected but wondered why optometrists all over Hampton Roads could not get my prescription right. If there is one thing that has to be perfect it’s your vision--no cutting corners here!! After several tries and complaints, one optician simply threw up her hands and proclaimed "Well I don’t know what to tell you!!”, and refunded my money. It was then I went online and began an earnest search for the best optometrist in the area. After long and prayerful thought, I chose Dr. Morgan and it is simply the best medical decision I have made in my life. Everyone working in his office is professional and caring. The former receptionist Bethany and the current one Michelle (Michelle is actually the Patient Coordinator and Insurance Specialist and she is the nicest and most professional 'first face “you will ever meet. The first contact is so important to making the customer/patient feel welcomed and at ease. You are greeted warmly and offered refreshments. The waiting area is super inviting and magazines are current and up to date. But the true gem here is Dr. Morgan. Just talking to him about life, family, and your interests makes this a very rare practice indeed. Getting to know the person goes a long way towards understanding his or her problem. You feel relaxed. You are able to open up. It is not always easy to share medical history with people you have often met for the first time. He looks at you when he is talking to you. He reflects on your concerns and responses to his questions. I told him about an eye injury and we talked about it in-depth for over ten minutes. I have never talked to an optometrist in-depth about it before. I assumed if they didn’t ask it wasn’t relevant. But Dr. Morgan broke it all down for me. The shape of my eye, the scarring, the movements and the problems I was having. When I finished reading the eye charts he had a Eureka moment as if he immediately understood my problem. We talked extensively about the results, he wrote prescription and my eyes have never been the same since!!! No matter where I move to, he is my eye doctor for life!!

My vision got terrible when I was 13, and I needed someone to ensure my vision was not decreasing and just being under control. That's how I found Dr.Morgan 8 years ago 😀 Since then, he moved to a new location, now having a large beautiful building. Dr.Morgan is one of the most hardworking doctor I ever seen! In addition to being great professional, attentive and as i found out during my last visit - even funny!! So usual stressful visit he turned into fun experience. I live in South Chesapeake and to get to the dr office takes 40 min which I gladly do because he worth it!! I wish you growing and strengthening your business, you deserve it!! And thank you!!!
