Great visit with Dr. Rosencrans. She was knowledgeable and explained what was going on with my vision. The office is small, has a good vibe, nice selection of frames to choose from and both the Opticians were really nice to work with. I chose to hold off on getting new glasses as it wasn't essential at this time, and the team were very cool with my decision to do so. Sometimes you get a hard sell, but not at Myoptic. They sent me my prescription via email before I was even home. Overall a great experience.

I just stopped in for an eye glass repair kit after having lunch across the street. They didn’t have any repair kits but the gentleman in there was very accommodating and repaired them for me. He even had a gold screw for my gold sunglasses. Their selection of frames was well curated and stylish. If I was a local I’d definitely get frames from here.

Myoptic is great. I usually dread any type of medical appointment, but Dr. Katie Ross made me feel comfortable and took her time to answer questions. The whole staff was warm and informative. And they have a cute selection of frames too :)

Myoptic Optometry is quite possibly one of the best customer service oriented shops that I’ve used in the past. I have been working with them for a better part of the last three years and they’ve always taken great care of my needs for my prescription glasses. I highly recommend them for anyone needing glasses in the Portland area. I live in Texas, and work in Portland, and they still take great care of me.

Friendly staff and great doctors. Organized office, great selection of frames, easy to make appts and ordering lenses or frames. They gave me extra 10 trial lenses while waiting for mine to arrive but they arrived quickly in 2 days. Overall it feels like they take good care of clients as well as staff. Highly recommend.

The staff at Myoptic goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Summy To is very personable and thorough and puts her patients at ease. I've tried the optometry chain stores and online outlets for glasses, but I always have the best results for my eyesight and peace of mind at Myoptic. They always check insurance coverage and are upfront about pricing. I'm happy to live within a short drive of their offices because they have no problem with a patient stopping in for an adjustment or just to ask a question. Their customer service is excellent and my eyes are well cared for. I definitely recommend Myoptic.

Honestly I don’t like going to the Optometrist….I prefer the dentist….but these folks at MyOptic at Williams and Burnside do everything to make my visit as easy as possible. They stand there waiting patiently as I FaceTime my spouse while trying on frames….I am sure I am not the only one that does this…their patience with me is extraordinary. Prices are reasonable and selection of Portland makers is good. I recommend these folks and hope you all have a good experience as I have.

I had a new prescription & went to Myoptic to get a new pair of glasses. Mimi Liedle was a good salesperson and optician when she was assisting me. However, the wait was long, even though I had an appointment. I was kept waiting while other customers were helped, which didn’t make sense, since some of them appeared to be walk-ins. And even if they weren’t walk-ins, I had a scheduled appointment. She did eventually help me find a nice pair of glasses, but the wait was annoying. I am now waiting to receive my glasses & they should be ready in around two weeks. I will write another review once I get the glasses. So, bottom line - Myoptic has a talented optician & salesperson in Mimi, but it needs better management. And, in the two text messages asking me to do this review, they misspelled my name “Sarag.” Really…

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Katie Ross and would highly recommend her to friends, family, and strangers. She was compassionate, friendly, knowledgable, skilled, and had a very calming presence. My general health and eye health are complicated, I see a retina specialist monthly, but I felt no judgement from her and she never seemed intimidated by my long list of health issues and medications. I am very grateful to be cared for by such a great doctor.

Dr Summy is great at figuring out how to best work with tricky correction needs, experienced, great at finding a solution and explaining. The optometrist found out what type of frames I was interested in before I went into my exam, and she had ten pairs pulled for me to try on when I was done with my exam. I narrowed it to three, and she was able to explain which of the three would work better from a technical perspective (centering the pupils in the frames). I was so happy with those frames that I ordered two pairs, one for my indoor prescription and another for my outdoor prescription. (Yes, I have a complicated need, I wanted to have a pair for driving, running and hiking without a reading correction at the bottom, so that I can see my feet on the trail and see the mountains in the distance. My indoor pair gives me a great vision at the computer or reading, just not sharp for distance.) I have worked with Dr Summy and her staff before, when I used to wear contact lenses, and she was just as skilled in problem solving how to make contacts work for my tricky prescription needs. I am glad to be back in Portland where I can rely on Myoptic’s excellent service again

Had my first exam and they were quick and very helpful. They made sure I had every piece of information that I needed. The doctor made sure I knew exactly what she was doing and gave me good care advice. The machines they used were clean and sanitized right infront of me. After the exam, the lady that helped me pick out frames and made a very stressful situation for me, very calm and comfortable. She also gave me really good information on what I want and gave me good advice on if I should get glasses because they weren't a need. All in all, great experience and happy to go back for my next appointment. Thank you guys for making my experience quick, easy and even made me laugh on a stressful day.

Excellent service at Myoptic Williams location. I've been a customer of Myoptic's for seven years, and am always struck by the level of attention and care of the staff and doctors at Myoptic. The staff seem to care about each and every customer as a person, from scheduling through the visit. I also often learn new things I can do to protect my eyes from the excess computer time most of us spend. The Doctors stay up on current research and are very informative without being pushy. I've never had such great experience with any other Optometrist or Doctor's office.

Since I am a resident of the Pearl District and have dont have car, this place was not the most convenient but read good reviews about it so I went ahead for my annual eye exam. I really like Dr Kim and would highly recommend him but im someone who needs the full package for me to return to a business. Five stars for Dr. Kim and three stars for the staff they were just OK. Glad I went there and had a great experience with the doctor, I would still recommend this place but I dont think ill be a regular.

I have been going here for a few years now and the service has always been excellent. I took my 11 yr old daughter in so she could pick out her first pair of eye glasses and they really worked with her to find a style that she was happy with and that fit her personality. Myoptic is the best. I get new glasses & prescription sunglasses usually every year and have looked all over Portland and this place has the most amazing curated collection of frames. The most recent time I visited they went above & beyond and helped me track down a company that manufactures a Polarized Rose colored lens for my prescription sunglasses. A man named Slade found the lens manufacturer and was very nice and fast with getting back to me with the info, and a woman named Metah was so friendly and helpful in helping me work with the lens lab to get the order just right for the shade of Rose that I wanted. Great customer service every time.

I've been a patient? customer? "family" member? for a number of years now. There are other eye docs and eyeware companies out there, but I see no reason to switch. These folks are stellar in every way. They do great work, they are very accommodating, they're patient, the selection of frames is amazing...I really have nothing but good things to say about MyOptic. If you haven't worked with them before, seriously, you need to check them out. You won't regret it.

The doctor here was great. Very friendly and informative. The staff is friendly but they fail to relay information in a timely manner. I was told my glasses would be ready on a set date. When I didn't hear from them, I called and was told they didn't have them ready and would call with an update. Several days later and no call, I called back and got the same run around. My advice is get your prescription and take it elsewhere if you need glasses.

I don't write reviews often, but the service at Myoptic was so good want to say so publicly. I found nice glasses there and ask them to fill a prescription I already had from another optometrist. When I didn't like the way the prescription turned out they suggested re-measuring and re-making the glass, which I thought was helpful. When I still wasn't happy with the result they helped me figure out what was wrong with prescription, re-made the glasses a third time, and the result has been excellent vision and fit I'm very happy with. Though I think my case is unusual the thing I found impressive was how insistent they were on making sure I was happy, and the consistency of the positive interaction I had with multiple different staff who just happened to be available on the days and hours I had the time to drop by the shop.

I called a couple of days ago to order some new daily contacts. There was an issue with my insurance and was surprised by how expensive they would be. I explained the situation with Metah and she spent 2 days coming up with a solution with my doctor and contact reps. I am blown away by how well this turned out! I have had a phobia of wearing glasses for the last 10 years now even though I have really needed them i have also been dealing with an eye injury meaning I cannot wear contacts.. Metah helped me Overcome this to pick the perfect pair of glasses that I feel super comfortable in, which I didn’t even know was possible. She was more than helpful and it was a pretty enjoyable experience, she was extremely knowledgeable on everything and made the whole process a breeze. The shop has a great selection of glasses. I cannot recommend this shop anymore but more specifically it was Metah who made this experience what it was. Thank you Metah and Myoptic.

The best glasses emporium out there. Been coming here for years because of the impeccable customer service as well as all the great brands (Moscot, Ahlem, Jacques Marie Mage) but this last year Greg at the Williams location truly went above and beyond. He tried to make a dream frame fit over the course of many many weeks of tweaking and, in the end, when it didn't look like it was ever going to work out, refunded me the entire cost of the frame. I was astonished. They truly want you to be happy with your glasses and will do anything to make it right. Thank you Greg and thank you Myoptic! I'm a customer for life.

I've been going to eye doctors for about 25 years and I've never experienced anything as wonderful as what I experienced at Myoptic. Upon walking into the shop for the first time I was impressed with the great selection of frames available and at a really varied range of prices. They curate the selection really really well. All that aside, what truly made this the best experience ever was the staff. Everyone that I interacted with was great. Not just friendly, which they all were, but you can tell that they love their job, the really enjoy working with people and they want to help you out. I've certainly been plenty of other places where this is not the case. Both Christina and Tristan were super helpful in assisting me with my frame selection. I loved that they were available and helpful but never lurking. It was great. Greg was awesome taking care of all the eye scanning stuff. He was wonderful to talk with and I could tell that he's doing something he's passionate about. Dr Summy was WONDERFUL! She was so warm and friendly, asking me about my son, talking to me like a person and not just a patient to get through. I had originally arranged to go to a different optometrist but when I couldn't find lenses at the other place decided to check Myoptic out and decided to make this my place, I am so glad that I did. I am so satisfied with Myoptic I will recommend it to everyone. If all that wasn't enough, they give a portion of their profits to charity and you get to choose what charity you want your portion to go to. How awesome is that. If you're looking for an eye doctor or new frames, do not hesitate to stop by, you'll be so glad you did.

I've been to optometrists since childhood. As a middle aged guy with years of experience with contacts and glasses, I've tried all different kinds of styles of optometry shops. While waiting for my son's music lesson to end, I walked into Myopic where I had an exam with Dr. Summy and ordered two pairs of glasses. Not only was Dr. To great at her job and very kind, but her entire team was really on their game. The selection of frames is very fashion-forward and high quality. There is a proverb, "The eyes that see do not grow old." My eyes did not get the memo on this life long lesson. My vision is the blurry background you see only in portrait mode on iPhones by Instagram models who will show you the way to live, laugh, and love. I went to Myoptic to work on my optics and to find a pair of stylish functional glasses. They did not disappoint. After my exam I found a pair of glasses that helped provide the illusion that I was a learned man. This last appointment I renewed my yearly contact subscription (gotta play both ends). Everything went smoothly and was an easy process. For reference I went on 7-25-20 and I have VSP. And if you have concerns regarding COVID-19 they took all measures to minimize capacity inside and cleaned all glasses sampled.

After spending thousands of dollars over the last several years on great glasses, I'm very disappointed with no response regarding an email I received stating I could get 50% off lenses if I ordered within 30 days of my last purchase. When I called to order they simply said "that email should have been taken down". I sent an email a week ago but no response. I won't be ordering or recommending Myoptic any longer. Roxie Frezza I received a quick response after this review and dr Summy and staff corrected the email response honoring my 50% off 2nd pair of lenses. Their apologies were overwhelming as well as their help in getting my 2nd pair of beautiful glasses ordered. I’m back and a happy patron of Myoptic. Thanks guys!
