My daughter went here for vision therapy and recently had an appointment for glasses. Dr Nate and his team are the best. My daughter is very anxious about any medical situation and Dr Nate is always so fun and upbeat with her. I was unsure she would cooperate with the eye dilation and he and his assistant made it a breeze. Although the vision therapy can be a little tedious, the therapist was always pleasant with positive feedback to keep my daughter motivated. We had a substitute therapist a few times and I can say they are all very communicative, patient and knowledgeable. The young lady who helped my daughter pick out her glasses was so fun and engaging. It was like a fashion show in the lobby. So glad to have such a great eye place near us.

Diplopia is something I've had for about 15 years -- not since childhood as a lot of kids have this. My case was different. Dr. Nate and team are knowledgeable and fair. I signed up for a therapy package... I am not a therapy guy... so I thought it wouldn't work. Not only did it work, but they were able to significantly fix the issues with my eyes. Couldn't be happier. Even though I wasn't the most dedicated with the sessions, they were able to get me into some prism wear (see image) and put together a plan that will eventually fix all the issues (with my eyes). I had a great experience at Bright Eyes. I was able to make a appointment for both myself and my daughter, which was super convenient. They were amazing with my 2 1/2 year old and saw us both in the same exam room. Every person we saw treated us both kindly, built rapport with my toddler, and made her vision exam a fun experience. They use toys and games to thoroughly exam kiddo eyes. My daughter left smiling from ear to ear, and I left feeling confident both of our eyes had a thorough health check.

Always professional! Everyone at the office is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Great selection of eyewear and the optometrists are the best! Just picked up my new sunglasses - progressive bifocals with polaroid lenses and anti-reflective coating. Love them!!! Can't get over how much clearer my vision is with my new prescription! If I had to sum up my experience in one word, it'd be "pleasant" From the moment I picked up the phone to schedule an appointment, to me leaving the office with my new glasses in hand (or rather, on my face), every interaction I had with the staff at Bright Eyes was fantastic! I think I spoke with a total of 6 members. They are all very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable! The previous eye care facility I went to made me feel like I was crazy for an issue I was experiencing with the lenses they sold me. The staff at Bright Eyes did the complete opposite - they heard me out, understood the issue, explained what the solution was, and helped me get exactly what I needed. For those curious: I was seeing a prism effect (red and blue halos around objects) with high-index lenses. The staff helped me get Trivex lenses, which are a little thicker, but have much higher optical clarity. I'm very impressed with the COVID-19 practices that this location follows. Masks are required when you walk in, and you're immediately directed to wash your hands after you sign in. Appointments are required for everything (including picking up glasses), but this is also being done for safety. The appointments also help keep things moving smoothly here. I had two (one to order glasses, and another to pick them up). I was seen within minutes of checking in both times. We take our autistic daughter to the Bright Eyes Kids location (and they are awesome there as well!), but I did see kids being helped in this location too. The staff were very friendly, patient, and asked the kiddos great leading questions to help them find the perfect glasses frames. This was my first experience with Bright Eyes for my own vision care, and it certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended!!!

My preschool-age daughter recently had a check-up with the pediatrician, where it was found she has some vision issues. Bright Eyes was recommended as one of the best family vision care centers, and how true that came to be! My daughter does not like going to any kind of doctor, and had some anxiety. Dr. Nate and all of his assistants were kind, understanding, and patient with her. She was put at ease by their child-friendly approach to her exam, and ended up having fun playing ”the games”. When it was time to leave, my daughter had learned almost all of the staff’s names, saying goodbye as if they'd been friends for years. She especially liked Ms. Victoria, who helped her pick out her new glasses. My mind is more at ease, knowing a problem that could have affected my daughter’s academics in the future was caught early. We will be with Bright Eyes for years to come, and I highly recommend Dr. Nate and his team.

Dr. Beth is fantastic with children. My hour long visit with an 8 year old was a breeze. She didn't complain once and that's because Dr. Beth was so kind and genuine! Front staff is great. The gentleman who helped with the first portion of the test was also very kind. I was late due to something out of my control. They could have very easily turned me away but they very graciously fit me in and never treated me any different. I am so grateful.

Dr. Nate is the big homie. I’ve been to multiple optometrists who gave me varying lenses and diagnoses that didn’t really resolve anything. Dr. Nate was not only extremely sympathetic, but he reassured me that my symptoms were consistent with his diagnostics and that I wasn’t just doomed. Great experience! I have had trouble finding a great eye doc since I left Austin (had the same dr for over 20 years and kept flying home for appointments after I had two bad experiences). THE friendliest staff I have ever encountered for my vision needs. Dr. Beth is very friendly and approachable as is everyone else on staff I have encountered. They have a wide variety of eyewear to choose from which is great for picky people like myself. I have found the perfect pair every time I have been in which I cannot say for many places I have previously gone. Dr Beth is amazing, however I can’t say the same for the front staff due to lack of communication, poor listening and customer service skills. They’ve made several mistakes with my appointments, ordered the wrong contacts and charging my insurance plus charging my copay.......and at the end of the day I don’t have my contacts nor can I go to another eye doctor until next year. At least the office manager offered to email my prescription......and still waiting for that a week later as well. What a joke!

Doctor Nate has a good practice. You can tell that he and his employees care about their customers. I had my most recent eye exam here and Dr. Nate took quite a bit of time answering some of my tedious questions about where my sight was and what to expect down the road. A few months after I got my new glasses, I had a problem with the frame. Without setting an appointment I went in and they were able to take care of it for me; and they were so nice. I think that Dr. Nate really caters to families (especially children), but he takes good care of us big kids too. :)

A++ for me. Doctor Nate and his staff at Bright Eyes Family Vision are incredible. I had one of the best experiences and eye exam period. The Doctor was very thorough and recommended a special eyeglass lens called the SHAW Lens, because of my high prescription and large difference between my eyes. This lens has made a world of difference. It was customized and created just for me based on many precise measurements and my prescription. 20/30 use to be my best, now I'm seeing 20/20, which I didn't think was possible. I highly recommend Bright Eyes Family Vision for all your eye care needs as well as trying the SHAW lens, if your eyes are anything like mine.

I love Dr. Nate, Christina and the entire staff. They always treat us like family!! Three years ago, I went in to get glasses for reading. I was tired of wearing the “cheaters” and doing the glasses on, glasses off thing all day. I was fitted with progressive lenses and was pretty happy. I would go to work, put in my glasses and I was good to go. About a year ago, I noticed it was getting difficult to see more things, like items on the shelf at a grocery store. I was also having to wear my glasses to even cook in my kitchen! So I decided to go in because I was tired of wearing glasses for 90% of my day. I couldn’t see the buttons in my new car, but I could see a tiny bird a hundred yards away. I asked if it was possible to wear contacts and still be able to see distance. Dr. Nate said "yes, it is an option for most people but will take some patience and adjustment as your brain adjusts.” I was fitted for contacts and for the first time in a year, I could read my phone without putting on glasses!! Then Christina walked me through the do's and don'ts of contact lenses. She also made sure I could take them out and put them in again. I left there so happy. I wore the contacts as directed for 4 hours and was sad to take them out and have to wear glasses the rest of the day. Day two, I got up and put the lenses in and went on some errands. I was like a little kid reading price tags and products I normally could only see with glasses. My husband thought it was so funny that I was that excited about looking into my purse and being able to see everything! It wasn’t just a giant BLUR!! Also, day two my vision was much clearer. Dr. Nate explained it can take a full week to know if these are the right lenses. Another great thing about this process. When I go back for my one week visit , if my vision isn't exactly what I want, there are other options. They will fit me with another week supply for NO CHARGE! Once we have found the correct lenses, I can buy one month at a time or up to a year supply. Basically whatever my budget allows.

My daughter had near point distortion. She saw Dr. Nate and Ms. Julie for vision therapy. It changed her life. Before VT she could not focus near to far, skipped words when reading, tracking looked like two pin balls going in random directions. After following their course to a tee my daughter has super human eyes. She can out track most people, reads on grade level and has amazing hand eye coordination. Dr. Nate and Ms. Julie are kind, fun, funny and very dedicated to their work. My daughter loved going to VT. I enjoyed helping with the fun home work assignments. They changed my daughters life. We could not be more grateful.

Thorough, caring, attentive....doesn't even begin to express my respect and gratitude to Dr. Nate and the staff at Bright Eyes. Flawless scheduling. No wait. Knowledgeable staff in each step of the way. The process is set up to respect the patient's time by intentionally filling the gaps of wait time with another service i.e. while waiting for eyes to dilate I met with the rep to figure my benefits, order contacts, and work some magic math to ger the best use of benefits and rebates. Dr. Nate was super personable, informative, and present. The remodel and expansion of the office is great. And both assistants were so polite, down to earth, and patient. Super happy with my visit. My eyes are dilated but i wanted to write this review asap so it doesn't go by the wayside. ;)

This practice has really helped me with my vision issues. Dr. Beth prescribed vision therapy at their offices. One course for a number of week coupled with eye exercises I do at home has helped tremendously. Stuart suggested that my eye discomfort could be reduced by having separate reading glasses as well as separate computer glasses, which did the trick. Before that I had frequent eye strain. All of the staff are friendly, helpful, and competent. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Nate and his staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and great to work with. I went in for a vision appt, contact fitting, and glasses. All of their equipment is clean, modern, and first class. Dr. Nate is extremely nice and very competent. He explained everything and has been helping me to find the right contacts for me since the first ones were not a good fit. The eyeglass selection is higher end, although there are some affordable options. Yuli, the optician, was friendly and very helpful with selecting my frames and lense options. This is not a place to compete with wholesale club pricing, but if you want the best, choose Bright Eyes!

When I found you my one year old needed glasses I was worried it would be a huge hassle. The staff at Bright Eyes, specifically Yuliana, made the process as easy as possible! They were patient, understanding, helpful, and at one point even entertained my older child so I could focus on the task at hand. After going to several different doctors, from various eye specialists to neurologists, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Nate and his staff. Dr. Nate was one of the few doctors who seemed to actually listen to my problems and put real effort into helping me. Through a combination of prescription and vision therapy my situation is much improved, and I'm certain that wouldn't have been possible without the expertise and generosity of Dr. Nate. If you've got any "difficult" vision problems and not sure where to turn, I'd highly recommend giving Bright Eyes a try.

We do love Bright Eyes... BUT find that available apt. times are very limited! A family of 5 can't (not allowed) to all come in at once (total pain!) And, they really need to add Saturdays to the schedule! For us to have to pull our kids from school is really not a good plan! Hours for eye Drs should have way more evening and weekend hours... Just our opinion!
